BIO: Mrs. Emily Judson was born in Scotland in 1847. She grew up, & married Joseph Judson, a carpenter, in 1866. The two lived happily together, until Joseph died of tuberculosis, leaving Mrs. Judson all alone.

A few years before Joseph's death, Mrs Judson got a job as a landlady, &, when Basil Sherrinnford Of Baker Street moved into her home, a housekeeper.

Mrs. Judson has put up with Basil for some time, getting angry with him at his habits of shooting her good pillows with his gun, leaving papers scattered all about, & using her tablecloth for a tissue. Basil's odd habits & mannerisms drive her so crazy, it's a wonder she's kept her cool for so long.

Mrs. Judson is very polite, courteous, friendly, & responsible to others, especially to the children. Mrs. Judson makes great cheese recipes, like her famous cheese crumpets. Mrs. Judson is, as Olivia puts it, "more than just a housekeeper...she's a good friend".
