Apex Systems Inc. currently has a Hyperion Essbase Programmer position available in Virginia Beach, VA. Our client is a National Managed Healthcare firm headquartered in Virginia Beach. Here is a short Job Description for the position.

Hyperion Programmer Analyst Princ I

Support Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Reporting and Essbase.
Experience especially with Planning and/or the Hyperion Application Link (HAL) would be a big plus, 1-2 year OLAP application development and administration experience utilizing Hyperion products: Planning (most important), Essbase or Reports including Hyperion Application Link
An understanding of data warehouse modeling techniques.
Technical skills to include MaxL Shell or MDX scripting, T-SQL in SQL Server or Oracle environment, ETL experience such as SQL Server DTS or Informatica, familiarity with Windows DOS commands.
Some prior work with Java would be a plus too.
Network and Windows OS knowledge is highly desirable.
Some knowledge of finance including an understanding of basic accounting terms.
Experience in ERP PeopleSoft would be a plus.
Healthcare industry experience would be an advantage.
