Excel crashes when using Smartview Add-in

I have only one location out of 500 that complains of Excel crashing intermittantly after they have installed the smartview add-in. Has anyone else experienced this? (We do not have Essbase add-in)

you should review the XL version. Is this the same as the other users?

What do you define as 'crash' - is this a timeout, or XL closing down completely? if the former, it will be easier to resolve, but if XL is crashing and closing, check version, memory and is the same happening with the Smartview Add-in disabled (not removed).

Excel crashes meaning the whole application closes and must be restarted. The last version of the file is saved. The version used is Excel 2003 SP3. This does not happen when the addin is not installed. We are using the latest version of smartview 9.3.1.2. It reportedly did not happen with the old version 9.3.1.1.
