As most of you know, Kip Winger posted a message in his forum today to let us know that he is closing down his forum as he is redesigning his site. Sad, but understandable, especially with MySpace being so popular.....not to mention the thousands of friends he has there
It's been a great seven years on his forum and I hope we can continue the legacy here. Of course, this is an "unofficial" site, but my goal is very simple....to keep it positive, informative, fun and just a celebration as a reflection of his great music.

Thank you for coming Yes, that was a big concern of mine too....I know there are a few people on his forum who don't use MySpace so I wanted them to have a place to come too....we've made a lot of friends over there and what better bond can friends have than the bond of music right? Mary!!! Angela!! It's great to see you here! Thanks so much for coming over I'm glad you're here. Bummer about Kip's place huh? Ah well, I do understand and I'm just glad we can still connect here. MySpace is great, but I think this sort of venure is better for all of us to correspond together as a group so feel free to post anytime We can also still meet here for Monday night chats if you'd like!

Christine!! I am SO glad you are here! I was really bummed out too, but in the end,we just have to trust that it's something Kip felt was best for him and ultimately, he is the one who brought us all together so, as sad as it is, we have to let that go Yes, we have myspace and we can email, but what was so nice about Kip's is that it was a gathering place where we could ALL be involved as a groupm (be it roadtrips, discussing & promoting the music or just a funny topic) rather than one on one which is why I'm glad I have this forum and I hope we can continue the legacy here....all of us together. I am sad, but I would rather it be a good thing for Kip and not have his forum, than have it and it not be good for him.

Robin!!! You made it too! I am so glad to see you here Thanks for joining us! I met Robin through MySpace with our mutual adoration of Kip's music. I was lucky enough to meet her and her hubby at the Stone Pony show this past February which was really cool. What a fun time! Thanks again for joining us Robin and you're right....May can't get here soon enough! Aren't the clips amazing?
It was so great meeting you too! Yes, "Kip's Clip's" (LOL) are just not long enough!!! I'm counting the days!! Kip never ceases to amaze me!! He just keeps getting better and better! I'm so glad God gave me a great pair of ears and the wisdom to know pure musicianship when I hear it!!! HUGS!!!
I still can get in but I always did it 'back door' style. Maybe the warden has granted us a reprieve.
I should repost the infamous Pittsburgh story I did two (eep) years ago about missing my flight, paying almost eight times the price for new tickets when I first (and only...sob) time I got to see Kip. Yeah, like I was going up behind him at the hotel's main desk to find out where he got the Pull tour shirt... LOL!

so this is the Kipaholics Anonymous thread, eh? I'm currently listening to FTMTTS, which has so much depth, I don't EVER get tired of it!!! Every song is stellar (with the exception of "What we are", I can't get into this one sorry) and the production is as great as ever.
Alright, so some of you may know me from kw.com and I know I never made any secret about my dislike for Winger 4 but this new solo CD is A-W-E-S-O-M-E,,, anyway, see ya around....
