Hey...I know it is early, but what is everyone doing this weekend????

Okay, so I AM tying this to a Winger thing and not just a personal post for those who care ....

I am going to see....Pat Benatar on Sunday!! I never saw her before annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd, guess where she is playing?????

BB Kings in NYC. You know what I think of when I hear BB Kings? Winger of course and then you know what else?.....YOU WONDERFUL GIRLS that I met there!!! Boo Hoo, it has been too long!!

So, it is going to be bittersweet seeing this show. I am sure that I will enjoy it, BUT, I will be thinking of our great time in NYC there this past February!!!

Damn it, can't they do another run of shows up here????? I want to DO IT AGAIN, but in SLOW motion so that it doesn't end soooo friggin fast! Come on Kip....think about it,the weather is better....I know, I know...Reb is out on tour...I girl can dream can't she???

So, I will be thinking of all of you....oh and of Winger too .

That is awesome Sandy! I bet you are going to have a blast! I love Pat Benetar! I remember being in my room when I was a teen with her album blasting....I was standing on the bed (aka my stage) with my hairbrush (aka microphone) just singing my heart out and feeling like a rock star!!! Eyes closed, completely submersed in the music....in my own world....just belting the tunes out at the top of lungs and taking on the rock star pose! Suddenly, in the middle of one of my best performances ever, I notice my Dad standing in the doorway....that's when the microphone suddenly became a brush again, and I became a mere teen again frantically brushing her hair as though he hadn't seen a thing! "I'm just brushing my hair Dad" Meanwhile, I'm fifty shades of red as he walks off smiling and muttering to himself "mmmm hmmmm" We won't even go to the time when I was Stevie Nicks, in full spin/twirl under the watchful eyes of my Mother....I mean, how do you shake that scene? The brush was my only saving grace Needless to say, I was constantly brushing my hair.....I was a rock star baybee! Had I not pursued dance, music would have definitely been my thing....it's probably why I'm so drawn to music.

As for BB Kings, oh girl, you are definitely going to be reliving our roadtrip. Please tell Adam we said hi And thank him for ripping us off! Sheesh!

OK, got a pen and a pad of paper? My weekend . . .going out with NG Friday night. I LOVE it when people suck up to me . . and trust me, this one owes me big time! Saturday, I have my usual 3 hour marathon workout, hanging with the La's and then me and the Bad Boy crew are hanging at a pub on the river watching the jackasses plant their boats in the water too darn early!!! Sunday - 3 hour marathon workout then RG is taking me and the La's to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin - which is a really awesome boating town and we have friends up there we'll hang out with.

I would love to see Pat Benetar - she is absolutely one of my fav's! Just think of all the Winger Girls at BB Kings for Pat Benetar! Oh, could I please have that cute little waiter again? mmmm mmmm good!

Have fun Sandy! I miss you, Girlie! I can't wait to see you in August!!!

I'll be spending some of the weekend with hubs as on Sunday it looks as if I'll be in Lake Geneva with Tina and the La's. Hope it's not cold there. Tina, what should I wear? :0

Sandy, have a great time seeing Pat Benatar! She was here last year (the next town) and we didn't go. Still kicking myself about that.

I'll bring you guys the C&V. I'm a wine drinker myself... Does that make me a wuss???? LOL! I drank Jack and coke in the days of my youth, but my gut can't tolerate much of the hard stuff any more.

Noooo...you're not a wuss DixieChick I'm not much of a wine drinker myself, but that's probably because I just haven't found one that I really like. For me, it's all about sweet and fruity so I should check it out.

I don't drink much to begin with....then again, I don't need much either. I'm quite the lightweight! Two drinks, maybe three is about it for me....though at Mulcahey's, I think Bridgette and I outdid Tina. That was a fun, FUN show

But I will say, I'm usually on the golf course on the weekends (tho I don't play...I drive the drive cart) and I usually have a C&V which I sip throughout the 18 holes.......it's really nice and quite relaxing The weather is beautiful here right now and perfect for the beach or golf (or anything outdoors for that matter) but I know once we hit the 90's+ full time I'll be at the pool sipping my beverage...or at the beach I can't wait!!

Do you live in Fla. Deeandra? My sis lives in Inverness, she lived in Orlando for many years/ Matter of fact, I visited her in Feb. The weather wasn't too bad compared to the snow we were having in Ohio at that time.

As far as the wine goes, I like the more drier ones, but I could turn you onto a few you may like. White Zin is fruity.

Sorry for hijacking this thread, now the weekend....It is so nice in my part of Ohio today, I hope the same goes for the weekend. The dear hubby thinks I'm gonna spray the lawn with weed killer and do all the fun things that go along with yard work while he works on the cars. WRONG ANSWER!!!!!!!! I guess I will know when tomorrow rolls around, but I don't think yard work is in the cards.

Dixie Chick, doesn't hubby know weekends are s'posed to be for fun? Just tell him you need to do some "wine research" Ahahahaha!!! Yes, I live in Orlando and I love it! The weather here is absolutely gorgeous! Though, give me a couple months and I'll be on here begging to come live with some of you in the North The heat and humidity are on the way for us so I am enjoying every single day here now.

So now that we know your sis lives in Florida DixieChick, you must realize that if Kip plays here, you don't have a choice....you have to come! Even if it's not close to her...it's still Florida Wink!
