We invited him to join us a few weeks ago in the middle of a beautiful Southern California afternoon to discuss his brilliant new album “From the Moon to the Sun” and to perform a live acoustic set to share with you. The result is a sometimes haunting and personal musical foray that is also at times explosive and jaw-dropping. Winger’s prowess, his breadth and scope is on full display as he takes on brand new songs and blends in stirring renditions of Winger songs such as an incendiary reading of “Blind Revolution Mad”. An album title has never been more apropos either as he serves up music from the moon to the sun…and back again.

Kip also took on all of our questions without restriction or limitation. You won’t believe how Beavis and Butthead’s absolutely disrespectful trashing of him served as a powerful motivational tool and helped him reach a level previously unimagined and surprising recognition from a whole new audience. He’s moved from New York to LA to Santa Fe and now Nashville and his music reflects the diversity of his chosen hometowns.

That's cool Chessie! Let us know. I believe I saw that it's going to be archived for up to 2 weeks as well in case anyone misses it, but you may want to confirm that again just to be sure.

OMG. Kip is so on the mark. I'm actually going out on a limb & saying this show is better than the Pittsburgh show. It's THAT good. The Yarri sounds amazing.

Ok, so has anyone else gone to the archive page to listen? I just tried and its Edgar Winter?? Its in the Kip box on the archive page, but all the clips are not him?? Oh well, I'll try again later........bummer

Hi Ang, try using Internet Explorerer. I have AOL and it does the same thing. If you want to use AOL you have to open the page where the interview is, right click on the page itself and hit refresh. That should work! If it doesn't, use IE and refresh once if it still comes up wrong. Good luck

Well I went back to the site just now and all is good. I did't have to go through any hoops. I'm listening as we speak! Thanks Dee!!

What a great interview! I really loved the sound on the in studio songs. Don't get me wrong, Kip is great in concert, but sometimes his guitar is a little loud and you can't hear the words as good. You could FEEL the words! It was awesome!!
