Hi everyone,
ok, so I just got back from Budapest! First the boring details and side notes: Arrived there after a 3 hour train ride, checked out some sites, got a nice goulash and headed to the club (which was a converted Ukrainian stone carrier ship). The opening band was a local Whitesnake tribute band and they were rather terrible, so I'll spare you the details...
- At about 9:45 Kip enters the stage and he is his relaxed and "cool" self. He opened with Cross, which was great. The usual dialogue with the sound guy ensued (crank it dude) including the "rock star pose". Good to see that such a great musician doesn't always take himself TOO seriously!
OK, I'll try to remember the set list.. it was mostly Winger songs (too bad he only played "Nothing" from FTMTTS, but that sounded killer and he knew the words

)
Let's see.. (not in the right order)
From Sahara: Hungry (!!!), Headed for a hreatbreak, 17
From ITHOTY: Can't get enough, Easy come easy go, Miles Away, Rainbow
From Pull: BRM, DI, Spell I'm under
From TCSLAD: Daniel, Steam (<- that was pretty awesome)
<br>
From SFTOF: the above mentioned Cross, and Free
Encore: Whos the one and wait for it.. Blue Suede Shoes!! (that was a surprise but all-the-more AMAZING!)
I was again impressed with his finger picking style.. that guy knows how to play a 12-string! He did struggle a bit with "Free" (though I was probably the only one who noticed!) but made it through to the end so that was good. Hey, it's a pretty complex song and you gotta give him credit for even playing it live!
- The crowd... well what can I say! 100 hard-core fans screaming and cheering like they were 10,000! And singing along to EVERY SINGLE word of the old Winger tunes (and Daniel, too).... so was I of course! I guess Kip was glad to see this kind of appreciation. There was also a lady who sang really loud (but in key!) and Kip asked her to come on stage and sing with him! She was too scared though, HAHA
- The pics.. theres a good 30 of them.. I'm a lazy basterd so I put them in a zip file rather than post them one by one.. :-P -->

Please do downlad them, there are some really good ones in there!
-Finally, in the unlikely case Kip is reading this, thanks for the great perfomrance, man and keep putting out great music!
