i always thought st mary le bow was on Leadenhall Street - depending on who you ask - that wikipedia definition could be widely disputed -there are churches and bells all over the bloody city...if i can remember a previous post on this board(and the above poem is an old spoken word piece of marks)his grandparents(who brought him up with his mother until he was 12) were from Bow and he always refers to this (maternal)side of the family as the good one-he found out his father(who he hated) was from west london sometime after his death hence the dig...
