Jesus said in Luke 11:9 "And I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek , and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you."

Prayer for my brother

My brother was falsely accused and wrongly convicted of a horrible crime 20 years ago. There was not a shred of physical evidence and he broke down and "confessed" after 48 hours of a continuous interrogation without an attorney or any kind of break. He has been in and out of prison for the last 20 years, and his life is a wreck. He has been a drug and alchohol addict for 20 years. Somehow 3 weeks ago, he decided to clean up. We feel its the Holy Spirit working in his heart. With no rehab or encounter group, he has not touched drugs in over 3 weeks and has been sober for a full week. Now he is asking questions about the Lord and for the first time in his life, is interested in going to church. However, the church my older brother invited him to has let it be known that he is not welcome due to his past conviction. He needs that fellowship. He needs that connection. He is standing at the door knocking and all christians have to do is let him in. Please pray that he will find a body of believers who truly show the love of our Lord Jesus Christ and that he in turn will be saved.

Psalm 46:1-2 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea."
