A Look At Tomorrow for Monday, July 6th

Kiriakis mansion: Kate and Lucas are out on the terrace. Lucas tells her the focus group loved the shows they screened for them - they liked Chloe and Daniel. Lucas says this is the start of big things for Hearth and Home and for Chloe. Kate mutters 'not the start, the end.' Kate smiles as she recalls poisoning the apple and then watching Chloe take a bite. First Chloe then Daniel - she's going to take care of them both. She listens to the recording she doctored - Daniel is telling Chloe to do what he wants or he'll make her pay. Lucas returns - what was Daniel saying and why do you have him recorded? Kate lies - when they have strategy meetings she records them - she doesn't want to lose any of the good ideas. Lucas thinks she is taking this producer thing too far. Kate argues. She's trying to make his wife a success - she thought that would make him happy. Lucas thinks it would be fantastic if Chloe got what she deserves. Kate - You don't know how hard I'm working to make that happen. Lucas asks her why she keeps checking her watch. She thinks he should go home and be with Chloe. He thinks that is the best idea she's had all night. His cell rings - it's Lexie telling him Chloe is in the hospital. He needs to come quickly but drive safely. Lucas tells Kate Chloe is in in the hospital - he asks Kate if she's coming. She says of course - under her breath she mutters - I wouldn't miss this for the world.


Lucas & Chloe's house: Chloe collapses - Daniel urges her to stay awake. Chloe has a hard time focusing and staying awake - Daniel tells her he's taking her to the hospital.


Sami's place: While holding Emily Hudson's memorial card from Rafe's wallet Sami flashes back to finding Rafe at Emily's grave. She tells herself 'don't do this - don't go there.' She wonders why she can't know about her. Rafe comes out wearing a towel - he has an idea - Sami has her back to him. Rafe asks what she is doing with his wallet. Sami said she would be buy but she's only got $2 so ... Rafe thinks they're out of luck because he only has ... Sami jumps in - $4. Rafe tells her there's an ATM close to the Chinese restaurant - he'll go and pick it up. He has a question for her - in the mean time, join me? Sami tells him she'll be right there. When he heads back to the shower she pulls the memorial card out of the pocket of her robe muttering - why did I have to find this thing. They're back in the living room dressed now - Sami feels better. Rafe does too and that's because of her. She could have kept pushing but she didn't. They both have people in their past they don't want to think about - leave them there, don't let them affect their future. They kiss. Rafe leaves to pick up the food. Sami pulls out the memorial card and groans.


Brady Pub - Part 1: Max is going over his list when he gets a call from Bo. Bo tells him that he's on his way to say goodbye. Max is glad he's coming - there's something he wants to ask him. Caroline comes along and asks him how many more items on the list. Only 3. That means she has to say goodbye to her youngest - she doesn't know what she'll do without him. Max says if she's worried about the pub he can put off his plans and stay and work with the new manager. Caroline says no Chelsea is expecting him. All she meant was that she's going to miss him. Saying goodbye to your youngest is tough on mother's. She tells him not to worry - everything will be fine with the new manager. They go over to Arianna. Max tells his mom it's not exactly a done deal yet. Arianna is surprised to hear they're getting a new manager. Caroline is equally surprised that Arianna didn't know. Max says it's one of the items on his list to do. Caroline suggests he scratch it off his list right now. Max tells Arianna the new manager they were planning on hiring was her. Arianna is surprised at the offer. Max apologises for not asking her sooner. He tells her there's a pay raise, the work load will go up but she can handle it and besides she knows how to handle Ma. He'd feel better if she was managing the place. Arianna accepts. Bo arrives - Max is glad he's there - he has something to ask him about Chelsea. Max tells Bo that he loves Chelsea and he wants to make her happy always. There was a time when Bo didn't approve of them being together. He'd kind of like for Bo to give him his blessing. Bo won't.


Mickey & Maggie's house: Melanie is reading her text messages - crying - it's really happening - Nathan comes in from his run and finally notices that she's crying. He asks what's wrong. She tells him her brother is leaving for London tonight to be with his girlfriend. Nathan thinks that's a good thing - doesn't she like the girl? Melanie shrugs. When she first met Chelsea she thought she was a total bitch and wanted her to die but once she stopped trying to ruin Chelsea's life she was okay. She knows her brother will be happy when he's with her but her brother is all she has. He's the only person in the whole world that cares about her. Nathan doesn't think that is true. Melanie tells him that without Max no one will care about her. Nathan disagree - what about the woman whose life she saved. Melanie says Stephanie has to be nice to her - it's not really the same. Nathan says as her friend he's going to take her for a bite to eat after he showers. Melanie thinks that will be cool - they can go to the pub and freeload off her brother one last time. Nathan tells her that she has friends and when her brother leaves they're still going to be here.


Hospital: Maxine directs Dan into an an exam room - the lab is standing by waiting to do a tox screen. Daniel also wants an abdominal x-ray done. He urges Chloe to stay awake - he has some questions. They're going to find out what's wrong with her. Chloe tells him it hurts. Lexie comes in and asks what's going on. Daniel tells her that Chloe had a headache earlier, now she's complaining of abdominal pain and her fever is spiking. He doesn't have any idea what's causing it and the way things are going they may not have time to find out. Chloe complains about the pain. Daniel tells her it will all go away. He turns on Lexie - he asked for that tox screen to be rushed. She reminds him he only sent the blood to the lab 2 minutes ago. He's sure it's been longer than that. Lexie tells him he's way too involved -she's never seen him like this before. Maybe he's too close to be in charge right now. Daniel states that he's going to see this through. Lexie asks him what his next step is going to be. He's going to wait for the fever to go down. Lexie tells him that they know with fevers this high things can go bad very quickly - shouldn't Chloe's husband be contacted? Daniel tells her to call Lucas. Chloe tells Daniel that it hurts so much. He can't give her anything for the pain until they know what's causing it. She's glad he's there. Lucas and Kate arrive. Lexie (Maggie is with her) tells them Chloe lost consciousness but she's awake now - that's a good sign. Lucas wants to see her. Lexie tells him he can't - a nurse and Daniel are working to get her fever down - he can go in soon. As Lexie is telling Lucas they will figure out what is wrong Kate goes over to the window thinking 'Hopefully, by the time you do it will be too late.' Daniel comes out and tells Lucas that Chloe's fever is down, she's in much less pain, her heart rate and blood pressure are down - she's definitely getting better - his problem is that he doesn't know what caused it. The blood work all came back negative so he's having it retested. Lucas goes in to see Chloe. Kate says with the blood work coming back clear there's nothing to tell you what's wrong. Daniel states that she was clearly poisoned. Kate - That is puzzling, isn't it?

Lucas tells Chloe that she gave them quite a scare. She explains what the pain was like. He's so sorry - at least she wasn't alone - thank God for Daniel. Outside the room Kate comments that Chloe is going to recover even though it was clearly touch and go. Daniel says yes. Kate says he must have been pretty concerned. Daniel says I'm concerned because I'm her doctor - he walks away. Kate mutters - Too concerned which is perfect. Kate goes into Chloe's room and comments that Chloe stole the limelight tonight. Lucas thinks that they need to cut back on her schedule right now. Kate tells him to wait and see how Chloe feels in the morning. Chloe agrees - she feels so much better than she did an hour ago - it's a miracle. Kate says that Dan is a miracle worker - thank God he was at her side. Outside the room Maggie tells Daniel she knows he's under a lot of stress but the way he snapped at Kate. Daniel knows he shouldn't let her push his buttons but there's a limit. Maggie thinks that maybe he shouldn't be Chloe's doctor. Daniel says that he's staying her doctor - that's his decision. Lexie returns with the second set of test results. Daniel looks at them - this can not be possible. Everything is normal and the tox screen is negative - two tests so it can't be a mistake. How did she end up with symptoms of poisoning just from a bite of an apple? Lexie says it's clinically impossible. Daniel says that's it - he's calling in a specialist. Kate tells Lucas and Chloe that knowing Daniel he'll stay on top of this case until he finds out what's wrong. Chloe says that Daniel's terrific but now that they're working together she wants to find another doctor. Lucas tells her - whatever she wants but Kate doesn't think it's a good idea. Chloe - it's what I want. Lexie gives him the name of a doctor that does a lot of work with toxins and leaves. Maggie brings him a folder and he tells her that he's getting Chloe another doctor. Maggie knows how hard this is for him. Kate doesn't want to tell Chloe what to do but Daniel has done so much for her and he knows her medical history. Lucas tells her that if Chloe wants another doctor she'll have one. Chloe says Kate has a point but she still wants to change. Kate tells them she has to make some calls. She steps out of the room fuming. Maggie tells Daniel that getting someone else to look after Chloe's case is a smart idea. Daniel says that being this close only makes it easier for Kate to twist the knife. Maggie wonders why Kate is acting like this - there's no way she'd risk telling Lucas - she knows what happened the last time. Kate skulks in the doorway thinking 'You had a horrible day, didn't you Chloe? I wish I could say that next time will be easier but actually it's going to be much, much worse.'


Pier - Sami's place: Rafe sees Arianna and asks where she is heading. She's going to the pub as the new manager. Rafe hugs her and congratulates her. Arianna notices the bag of food and let's it be known that she's not happy that he and Sami made up. He tells her that he loves Sami, she loves him - they had a problem and they worked it out. Ari asks him if he really thinks that Sami is just going to leave it alone - no more digging about Emily. Rafe says they agreed to leave the past in the past. Arianna asks him how dumb can you really be. At her place Sami is having an internal argument with herself - she throws her hands up in the air - what am I going to do. Rafe tells her to give Sami some credit. Ari thinks Sami will keep digging until she finds out all there is to know. Rafe repeats that they agreed to leave things from the past in the past. Arianna is very sceptical - she asks him how many times Sami has promised him one thing and done the exact opposite. She knows he doesn't want to answer that - 10 to 1 she's at home doing an internet search on Emily Hudson right now. At Sami's - Sami is typing Emily Hudson into a search engine. Rafe doesn't believe that - Sami promised him it's going to be a dead issue and it will be because they trust each other completely. Sometimes he feels like he should tell her about Emily. Sami has to narrow the search - she adds Salem and Raphael Hernandez. Arianna sounds panicked when she tells Rafe that he can't tell Sami - why would he want to. It's about trust - he doesn't like keeping things from her. Ari tells him to get over it - she's sure Sami hasn't told him everything about her past. Rafe - actually she has. Ari asks him to please keep this between them - can he do that for her - can he leave it alone. He says just for now. Ari says not just for now. Rafe assures her that he'd never do anything to hurt her - she knows that she doesn't she. She does. He says he has to leave - the food is getting cold. She knows that he loves Sami and he's trying to protect her. Rafe - Yeah I loved Emily too. Back at Sami's place she finds an wedding announcement for Emily and Rafe and realises that Emily died on the day she was going to marry Rafe.


Brady Pub - Part 2: Bo tells Max the reason he's not giving him his blessing is because it doesn't mean anything and it shouldn't. If they want to be together they don't need anyone's permission. Max knows but there was a time that Bo didn't want them together. Bo admits he was being an over-protective father. You love her and want to be in a committed relationship with my daughter - it's her blessing you need. Bo adds that if he gathers his courage to take it to the next level they can come home and have a big celebration here or they'll gather up the family and to to London. Melanie hears this - I'm sorry - you're going to marry her? Max takes her aside - he thinks Melanie is over-reacting. He thought the two of them made up. Melanie says they did. She thinks Chelsea is going to change him - he's not going to care about people the way he used to. Max tells her he's still her brother - nothing will change that. Melanie knows she is being selfish but she wants him to know that she loves him. Bo talks to Nathan about Melanie - he's heard about her right. Nathan knows the whole story. Bo says okay, he won't say another word. Max tells Melanie he loves her too - he always will - it's not like he's abandoning her. It feels like that to her. He reminds her that he asked her to go with him but she wanted to stay in Salem. He thinks it was a good idea - the Horton guy seems to be paying her a lot of attention. Melanie says they're not exactly best friends. Max says neither were Chelsea and I. Melanie tells him to shush - he'll jinx it. Caroline comes along and tells Max his taxi is here. Very tearful goodbyes follow - first Bo, then Melanie and then Caroline. Caroline and Melanie stand in the window of the door and watch as Max leaves. He stands outside and waves goodbye to them.
