A Look At Tomorrow for Monday, Aug 24th

Hospital - Part 1: Nicole is very reluctant to hand over Syndey to Maxine for these senseless tests. Maxine suggests she step outside while she draws blood. Nicole argues - not when her baby is being tortured. Maxine convinces her it's best for the baby. Outside the room Nicole mutters - Damn it Stefano you better come through for me. He walks ups - When did I ever let you down? There is no way anyone is going to find out that she is not Sydney's biological mother - not this hospital, not Hernandez, not Sami Brady. He steps away to take a call. Nicole tells herself - there is no way I'm going to lose my baby. Mia hears this and asks her if there is something wrong with her baby. Nicole placates her and is very evasive in the answers she gives Mia - Sydney is just getting some tests - they all are - it's bloodwork - EJ is just being hyper-cautious. Mia doesn't understand - why all of them. Nicole says we're just getting DNA done - don't worry - I have it covered. The tests are going to say I'm the mother and EJ is the father. Mia says they won't because DNA doesn't lie. Nicole points out that someone has to interpret the tests. Mia asks her why she didn't call her and ask her to give blood. That way the DNA would have matched and the hospital would have the right information. Nicole tells her she lost the right to have any say when she gave Sydney up. Besides she told her that she didn't have any connection to Sydney - that she didn't feel anything. Mia snaps - Yeah, and there was a very good reason for that.


Fairway Urgent Care Clinic: Rafe is surprised that Sarah recognises Sami as the woman that came in the night the British guy was here. Rafe thinks she must have her dates mixed up. Sarah is positive of the date - Sami gave birth to a baby girl. She doesn't understand what Sami giving birth here has to do with his friend Nicole. That's what Rafe is trying to figure out. Rafe asks her to check the computer to see if Sami was scheduled that day. She tells him there is no patient by the name Brady listed but Dr. Baker didn't always do things by the book. He saw patients after hours and didn't keep records - he was probably saving on taxes or something. Rafe shows her the picture of Nicole again - you have absolutely no recollection of ever seeing this woman. No she doesn't. Sarah has to leave. She suggests that if Rafe really wants to find out what happened that night why doesn't he ask his friends Sami and Nicole. Rafe - I may just have to do that.


Police station - Interrogation room - Part 1: Bo tells her to trust that Ciara will be fine - Hope wishes she could. She reminds him that his visions don't always come true. He doesn't know what's going to happen anymore than she does. What she does know is that they need to get their daughter back. Bo argues - the minute they give them the money they have no reason to keep her alive. Hope fires back - and if we don't do what they say they'll have no reason to keep her alive. Bo states that they are not going to lose their daughter and he's not going to lose her. He'll do anything he has to. Hope asks if that means he'll drop the reward because Justin was right - we can send a message telling the kidnappers they can have the ransom money. Bo isn't going to turn over the only leverage they have praying that those bastards do the right thing. Hope tells him that she's their child - this isn't a game. You heard what they said. They'll kill her Bo - don't you understand! Bo - Not if we get to them first and that's exactly what we're going to do. A cop knocks on the door and tells him the TV guys are ready. Bo asks Hope if she's with him on this. No. Bo goes out - Justin comes in and wishes Bo luck as he's leaving. Justin asks Hope if she's okay. She tells him that Bo going on the air is putting Ciara in even more danger. She cries - no, I'm not okay. She told him they'd take it out on Ciara if he went public but he wouldn't listen. He never listens to anybody. Justin is sure Bo is doing what he thinks is right. Hope - I'm sure he does but he's not. He is so wrong.


Kidnapper's hideaway - Part 1: Brenda plays mediator between her brother Kyle and Dean. Let Dean explain his new plan. Kyle points out they only need a new plan because Dean's first plan failed. Dean asks if they want to cut and run after all the work they've done. Kyle says it's not even a ransom anymore - it's a reward. Anyone that gets us gets the prize - we're targets now. Dean says Bo Brady thinks he's calling the shots so we go around him. He's got a weakness and we'll use it. Brenda asks what his weakness is. Dean - That bitch he calls his wife. I am going to use her to make him change his mind. Kyle argues - the guy is the commissioner of police - he means what he says. There's no way he's going to let his wife talk him into giving us the money. Dean states - no one is going anywhere
until I say so. Brenda thinks Kyle has a good point - what if this plan doesn't work. Dean - It will. Hope will change his mind and you can take that to the bank.


Brady Pub: Outside Will is putting up a poster of Ciara - he's on his phone, sorry, I just can't. T comes alone. Will tells him he can't make the party tonight. T is surprised because Will organised the whole thing. Will tells him his cousin is missing - his whole family is freaking out. T is sorry. Will tells him since he cant' make it ... Chad walks up - whatever you need you got it. Will says no thanks and leaves. Chad salivates - he wonders what Mia will do for company.

Rafe comes in - from his expression Ari can tell he didn't find what he wanted to know. Talk to her. He met with the nurse that worked at the clinic. The records are in shambles, most are deleted but apparently Nicole gave birth at the clinic on January 28th. The only problem is the nurse does not remember seeing her and she was assisting Baker that night. She also remembers seeing EJ the same night. Ari thinks that makes sense if Nicole gave birth there. She asks how the nurse can be so sure of who she saw on what night. Rafe - Because she remembers assisting Sami in her delivery that night. Ari reminds him that he already knew Sami gave birth there. Rafe replies that he didn't know EJ was there and that Nicole gave birth there on the same night. It's not a big place - they would have seen each other. Ari - Something's not adding up. Rafe - You got that right. Ari wonders if Sami's name wasn't in the records because she used an alias. She realizes that he already thought of that. Rafe tells her that Sami giving birth there is a given - the name she gave isn't important. Ari brings up Nicole again. Rafe says the nurse doesn't recall her being there ever. Ari - then odds are she didn't give birth there. Rafe - she said she did. Ari asks - why would EJ show up. Rafe - Because Nicole phoned him and told him that was where she was giving birth. Ari - Even though she wasn't? Rafe - No surprise. Nicole lied unless she found out Sami was giving birth at Baker's clinic and she showed up for some other reason. Ari asks what. Rafe - To do something and she hopes no one will ever find out what it is. He thinks Nicole was at the clinic to do something to Grace. Maybe she somehow found out that Grace was Sami's child with EJ and she wanted to eliminate the competition. Ari thinks that is cold even for Nicole. Rafe - What about EJ. He finds out Grace is his and Sami's child that binds them closer together - he thinks Nicole would do anything to stop that from happening. Ari points out that Sami and Nicole are friends ... kind of. Rafe - Call it guilt. Whatever she did at the clinic that night - she's feeling guilty so she makes friends with Sami to soothe her conscience. When Grace died Nicole was a basketcase - it was like she blamed herself for Grace's death. He knows guilt when he sees it. Ari knows he's a smart guy but this is a stretch - doing something to hurt a newborn baby? Rafe - When it comes to Nicole I wouldn't put it past her. Ari points out that unless there's something he's not telling her he's got no proof against Nicole of anything and definitely not that she did something to hurt Grace. Rafe argues that Nicole was up to something and the only thing logical to him is that she was doing something to Grace. Ari - And you're not going to quit until you know what it was. No he isn't. Ari - You do realise that you'll be going up against the DiMera's. This is something he has to do for Grace and for Sami. Ari asks why if things are over between them. He says so what if they're over - he still loves her. Rafe works on the computer - I'm going to figure out this whole Nicole thing for you Sami before I say goodbye.


Dr Baker: Dr Baker is on the phone - he'll get them their money - 200 hundred grand at this time of night ... they hang up on him.


Police station - Squad room - Part 1: Bo goes on air. I am Bo Brady. I'm the commissioner of police here in Salem but I'm not speaking to you as a policeman this evening, I'm talking to you as a father. My 5 year old daughter Ciara was kidnapped while attending carnival night at the park. I'm offering a five million dollar reward for any information that will help us find her. (Hope and Justin come out as Bo is talking). And also help us find the people that took her. Ciara is just an innocent little child and the people that took her belong in prison. Like I said, I'm offering a five million dollar reward so I beg you, help us find her please.


Kidnapper's hideaway - Part 2: They're all gathered around the computer screen listening as Bo tells anyone that saw anything unusual that night to call the number on the screen. We desperately need your help - our little girl desperately needs your help.


Police station - Squad room - Part 2: Bo points to a picture of Ciara. Any parent would say their daughter is smart, funny and special - Hope and I feel the same way about our daughter. We're hoping that with your help she'll be back in our arms safe and sound very soon. If you think you've seen her, most likely in the company of 2 adults, call us at the Salem PD. He shows the reward money - it's here waiting for you. This is what the kidnappers thought they were going to get as a ransom now it's a reward (the camera pans to the kidnappers). Bo says he's not the only one asking for their help, his wife, Ciara's mother is asking for your help too. Hope reluctantly goes in front of the camera. Please help us - help our little girl, please. Help us.


Hospital - Part 2: Mia says she didn't bond with Sydney because she didn't let herself feel anything. She loved little Grace so much and all she did was babysit her a few times. She knew if she let herself feel anything for Sydney it would be harder and harder to let her go. Nicole says that was a very unselfish thing of her to do. Mia is upset - that doesn't mean she still doesn't care about her - the idea that she's rigging test results is just stupid. What if she gets really sick like Grace did and they need real DNA - please let her give blood so they'll have the right information. Nicole is handling it her way. The best thing for Mia to do is keep her distance. Mia leaves. Nicole - Could this day get any worse? Dr. Baker calls - he thought he'd give her a courtesy call before he called Sami Brady and told her what really happened at the clinic that night. Nicole asks him if he really thinks Sami is going to believe him. Baker says she will because I can give her proof. Nicole scoffs - Sami and I are friends now - she trusts me. Baker laughs - no one trusts her - even baby Sydney knows her mom's a liar by now. Nicole reminds him that he told her his blackmailing days were over when she gave him a hundred thousand - what the hell does he want now. He thought they were. Nicole - OMG you blew it all. Actually he had 20 thousand left after he paid his debt and he doubled that on one race - he got a line of credit and sort of extended his debt to two hundred thousand. So what's it go to be - do I tell Sami Brady about the baby switch? Nicole reminds him that if he tells Sami he'll spend the rest of his life in jail because everything will come out - is that what he wants. Three square meals and nobody breaking every bone in his body sounds like heaven. So what's it going to be? Nicole will get back to him. She says no, he's not going to say a word - not to Sami - not to anyone. Nicole has Sydney now - Maxine comes back. She noticed that they don't have palm and footprints - she'd like to get them. Nicole hands off Sydney. Stefano comes back and asks her why she looks upset. He told her he wouldn't let her down. For her information the tests are now complete - you and Elvis are forever connected to Sydney's DNA. Nicole - Good. Great. Stefano thinks a little thank you would be nice. Nicole thanks him. He asks her what's wrong. Nicole - I just got a call from good old Dr. Dick Baker. Stefano - What does that swine want now. Two hundred grand or he tells Sami everything. Stefano warned her against trying to appease a chronic gambler - his word doesn't mean anything. Nicole knows but if they don't give him the money he'll go straight to Sami - he's desperate. Stefano says the man is moving up in his demands - the problem with moving up is how much further you have to go when you fall down. Nicole says Baker said he'd rather go to prison than face the men he owes money to. He's frightened and if calls Sami there's no telling what he'll say. Stefano points out that Samantha has no money for him. That is the typical mistake blackmailer's make when they try to bluff. He will deal with Dr Baker - she is to remain calm. Trust me - nothing bad is going to happen to us. Your secret is safe.


Park - Part 1: Mia sits on a bench and makes an entry in her online journal. She's so stupid sometimes. She should just do what Nicole said - move on with my life and be with Will but if he knew the truth about me, the baby ... maybe I should just stay away from Will too. Besides the last time I had these stupid feelings for a guy - cue flashback - Mia listens to a song Chad wants her to hear - they kiss. Mia writes - it's weird. Even though he left and I had to have our baby all alone I still don't hate Chad. I wish I could but I don't.


Police station - Interrogation room - Part 2: Hope storms into the room with Bo following. She calls him a son of a bitch. How could he do that to her - forcing her to go on camera like that. He didn't force her to do anything. Hope disagrees - He calls her name and the camera takes a shot - what was she supposed to do? Maybe she should have went on camera and told everybody that she never wanted anything to do with this in the first place. My husband thinks he can make those bastards give our baby back and it's never going to work. Bo thought it was important for people to see Ciara's parents. Hope cries - You're going to get her killed Bo. Bo - I'm doing what I think is right. If we give them the money ... Hope tells him to shut up about the money. This is about Ciara's life. Bo snaps - When are you going to see that Ciara's life is tied directly to the money. Hope can't take it anymore. She can't stand to listen to him ... she can't stand to look at him - she storms out - Bo follows but his cell rings. It's the Governor. Bo thanks him - yes the State Troopers are a big help.


Cheating Heart: Mia comes in and greets T and asks where Will is. T tells her he's not coming - that girl that is missing is his cousin. Mia is going to go and call him. Chad comes in - T asks him to watch the music thing - he needs to go and get his headphones. Chad plays the song that Mia heard in her flashback - they stare at each other. Will comes in and notices Chad and Mia's eye-lock.


Kidnapper's hideaway - Part 2: Ciara sits up (one of the earphones has come out of her ear). Kyle rants about having a five million dollar target on their backs. Brenda is really scared. Dean snaps at them - he has an unlit cigarette in hand - stop whining. Brenda tells him the girl is awake. Dean says so what - she can't hear or see anything. Kyle complains - Dean yells at him to shut up and let him think - Brenda thinks it's time they leave town like they planned. Kyle will go back to L.A., she'll go back to Miami and Dean goes back to work and we ditch the little girl. Dean starts flicking his lighter ( Ciara hears the sound) - Dean says they will get that money one way or the other. Dean keeps flicking the lighter - Brenda notices that Ciara's earphone has fallen out so she puts it back in her ear. Dean says they're exhausted and they all need food including the little girl. He tells them to go to the fast food place and get some sandwiches - he'll stay with the kid. After they leave he touches her head - Ciara shakes his hand away.


Park - Part 2: Hope has one of Ciara's posters in her hands - she sits on the bench and cries. Justin comes along - he wishes there was something he could do. Hope says what Bo is doing is going to get their daughter killed. Justin sits next to her and holds her. He knows things look bad right now but she cannot give up hope. Bo comes along and tells Justin he needs to step back - he's getting too involved. Justin says right, I'll be in touch. After he leaves Bo tells Hope that she doesn't like the way he's handling this. Let's keep it at that - not make it personal. Hope says he's risking their daughter's life and she's not supposed to think it's personal? Bo states that Ciara's life would be at risk no matter what they do. Hope - What we should have done Brady is pay the ranson and we'd all be home now but instead my husband has to go on television and turn this into a war with out daughter in the middle. She points her finger at him - If something happens to our daughter - if she dies the blood will be on both of our hands and I will never forgive you. Never.
