A Look At Tomorrow for Friday, Aug. 28st

Hospital - Part 1: Lexie come into Chloe's room - Lucas is there holding Chloe's living will. Lexie tells him there has been no change. She knows these situations are tough. Lucas keeps going over it and over it in his head but he doesn't know what to decide. Craig walks in - That's why I'm here. Lexie hugs him. Craig goes over to Chloe and strokes her hair - my beautiful daughter. Craig comes out to talk to Lucas after examining Chloe. He was hoping he'd see something that no one else had but no. Lucas didn't realise she was so unhappy ... he adds, of course she was, she was married to me. He didn't see anything that was going on around him. Craig tells him he can't blame himself for any of this. Lucas - I'm not so sure about that - he goes back into Chloe's room. Lucas hands the will over to Craig - it says she wouldn't want to live like this but what if there's a chance she could get better? He doesn't want to be the one to take that chance away from her. Craig says they'll never know for sure. Lucas asks Craig - what should I do?


Pier - Part 1: Kate asks Dan the what the hell he's trying to do. He's trying to kill the pain. She's going to leave but he stops her. Considering what you've done to me I think you could give me 5 minutes. Kate asks if he really thinks she is going to stand there and listen to his outrageous accusations. That's not what he's talking about. She has no idea what he's talking about and that may be the worst part because she doesn't know what she did to him. He looks her in the eyes - Nothing. I didn't even matter at all. Kate starts walking away. Daniel tells her she broke his heart and she doesn't even know. Does she realises that's she not the kind of woman a real man can open up to - a real man just might keep his feelings to himself. He worked hard to make sure she never saw how much she hurt him. Kate laughs - you could of cared less that we broke up. What did it take you - about 15 seconds to hook up with that ... Dan jumps in 'young, naive, pliable girl?' The exact opposite of you in every way. He went out and found the anti-Kate and that doesn't tell you anything? She saw them together and she doesn't think it was Chloe's personality that attracted him. She doesn't know why the hell she's even talking to him. Dan tells her to walk away - that's what she's good at like she's good at being alone. He wishes he could do it. Kate says let me get this straight. I broke your heart and you took up with Chloe on the rebound? He asks her why that is so hard to believe. He looks at her - Aww ... you've never felt about anyone the way I felt about you. Kate - Cold, calculating Kate - no true feelings, right? No they're in there - she just spent a lifetime burying them. He thought they were going someplace so good together and it was a hell of a surprise to find out how dispensable he was to her. Kate snaps - If I didn't have any true feelings ... why is he saying all of this. Because he's drunk and also when you pretty much lose everything in your life your pride doesn't feel the same. He was never going to tell her what she did to him. Unlike her he can't just walk away like she did - it's not in him. Kate asks if this is true? Dan - Are you kidding? You didn't have to do anything to Chloe all you had to do was ask me to come back. Kate turns on the fake tears - she doesn't know how she could have been so blind. It's all here right in front of her eyes. I just have one question - she rips his shirt open - where's the wire? He asks if she thinks he's wearing a wire. It's the only logical explanation. Dan scoffs - the things he's talking about aren't logical. He strips off his shirt - is she satisfied. No - he undoes his belt buckle. That wasn't what Kate meant. Dan snaps - Nobody knows what you mean, what you want, how you feel because you let nobody in. We could have had a chance - why didn't you give us a chance? None of this had to happen. We could have been happy. He starts walking away and Kate asks him to wait. Is he telling her this thing with Chloe wasn't going to last. Daniel doesn't think it matters. She thinks it does. Dan says I don't - split decision. Justin tells him his fate is pretty much sealed, he's halfway into oblivion and he's wasted enough of her time - why doesn't she go home. She thinks she should - she leaves.


Park - Part 1: EJ is explaining the difference between football and soccer to Sydney - she cries. Mia passes by - EJ calls her over and asks if she played soccer. She did when she was younger. EJ chuckles - She makes it sound like she's a 100 years old. He gets a call and asks Mia if she'll hold Sydney. She does.


Brady Pub - Part 1: Brady tells Ari he'll come back for more coffee after his meeting. He leaves. Ari goes over to Rafe who is working on the computer. He's doing whatever it takes to find out what Nicole and Baker did and if it had anything to do with why Grace died.


Dr Baker - Part 1: Baker is reading the racing forms - You better come through for me Nicole because I'm going to turn that seed money into a fortune.


DiMera mansion - Part 1: Nicole is on the phone with her cell phone provider - she wants to make sure the disreputable Private Investigator that took her phone can't access the records - she protests loudly when they say they are going to transfer her - she was on hold for 30 minutes already. The doorbell rings - great, what fresh hell is this. It's Sami. She needs to talk to Nicole. Dr. Baker called me. You're not going to believe what he told me. He said ... he asked how Grace was. He didn't know - I had to tell him that she's gone. Nicole is so sorry - that's awful, so cruel. Sami cries - he didn't know but it just reminded her of the moment Grace was born and he handed Grace to her. She was so happy. She weeps - I just want to hold my baby again - she cries as Nicole holds her. Nicole tells her not to let Dr. Baker's call upset her. She was doing so well - she has to stay strong. Sami says it wasn't just telling him about Grace that upset her - something else was wrong. He said he had something important to tell her but he never told her what it was. After she told him about Grace he just gave her this song and dance about calling her to let her know he moved in case she had any questions. Nicole says maybe that was the truth. Sami - He was calling from the Dominican Republic. She did have a question - she asked if the complications at birth had anything to do with Grace getting meningitis but he didn't answer her. Nicole - Probably because he thought you were blaming him. Sami asks if he called her - she knows that Dr. Baker was Sydney's doctor. Nicole avoids answering - don't get obsessed with the phone call. Sami says no, there's something wrong and I have to find out what it is. I have his number. I'm just going to call him. Nicole takes the phone from her - I'm your friend. You don't want anything to do with him. Sami wants to talk to him - she wants to know what he was going to tell her. Nicole says he's a troublemaker - one of those guys - which is why they wouldn't let him be Sydney's doctor. He's a troubled man, he makes problems - she doesn't need someone like that in her life right now. Sami says she's right - dealing with Dr. Baker is a step backward and I need to move forward. She thanks Nicole for talking her down. Nicole tells Sami to keep talking to her and if that creep calls you hang up and you call me. After Sami leaves Nicole says - You went too far Dr. Baker and I'm going to make sure it doesn't happen again.


Park - Part 2: EJ tells Mia he was watching her hold Sydney - she's a natural. She tells him she had a lot of experience. EJ - With Grace. Mia tells him that she was very sweet little girl just like yours. EJ says they are lucky. Mia says Sydney is lucky to have such wonderful parents. EJ says that someday when you have children of your own you'll realise that you'll do anything for them, anything at all. Mia - I already know that. EJ takes Sydney - they're going to see Lexie. They leave and Brady comes along and asks Mia if everything is okay. Mia - No, not really. After some banter Brady gets Mia to talk to him - She was just holding Sydney. She ran into EJ and he was really nice but now she's worried that she's going to get in trouble with Nicole. She saw her the other day at the hospital and Nicole told her the best thing to do was stay away from the baby - when I gave her up I gave away all my rights. Brady tells her she did a really hard thing - she did what was best for the baby. Mia didn't do what was best for the baby, she did what was best for herself.


Brady Pub - Part 2: Ari - You stole her phone. Rafe says Nicole misplaced it. Ari is sceptical - in her living room? You're doing all this to find Baker. Yes, because he's at the center of this - he knows what Nicole's been up to and if it affects Grace. Nicole's phone rings - it's Baker. Rafe answers but doesn't say anything. Baker - Nicole? Are you there? Rafe hangs up - he just pinpointed Baker's exact location in the Dominican Republic. Ari asks - if Nicole tells him you stole her phone don't you think Baker will move somewhere else? Rafe - Maybe she won't tell him that. Ari asks why she wouldn't. Rafe - Because I'm going to tell him exactly what I want her to tell him. He texts him - With EJ and Stefano. Bad time. What do you want? Baker replies - Ditch them 'cause you and I have a lot to talk about. Rafe replies - We don't have anything to talk about. Ari asks if doesn't think he's going to tick him off. Rafe has to make him think he's talking to Nicole. He reads Baker's response - We both know that's not true. Call me when you're alone or else. Ari says he's threatening her - he's got something on her. Rafe is going to find out exactly what it is. Ari - Which would be? Rafe - The next step. Ari thinks that is giving Nicole her phone back before she has him arrested. Rafe says not exactly - he says WOW and then Ari? She says no. He asks her what she means - she doesn't even know what he was going to ask her. She knows when he asks her in that innocent voice of his they're both headed for trouble. Rafe tells her he has to find Baker - he has to find out exactly what happened. Ari - You can't because he's in the Dominican ... she stops - you want to go there and you don't have enough money to get you there, right? That's it. She gets her purse and gives him her credit card - travel coach on a no frills airline. He hugs her and tells her she's the best. He leaves. Ari gets a call - yeah, she can meet him in the park. She tells Pete to cover for her and leaves.


DiMera mansion - Part 2: Nicole picks up the phone and then asks herself - What are you doing? You don't have the number because you don't have your phone - the guy who wants to ruin your life stole it. She wonders what Dr. Baker is up to and why he called Sami. OMG - If Sami found out what I did ... She comes back downstairs - Stefano, where the hell are you? The phone rings - it's Baker. He asks if she's alone now - he really hates texting. Nicole asks if he texted her - that wasn't her. Someone stole her phone. What happened? What did he say? He tells her not to panic - just wire him the money and his lips and thumbs are sealed. Nicole isn't sending him anymore money. Baker says no problem, I'll just return Sami Brady's call. Nicole - I already told Stefano that you wanted more money. Baker - What? I told you not to. Nicole wasn't going to let him bleed her dry ... Baker hangs up on her. Nicole rants - this can't be happening. Stefano where are you?


Hospital - Part 2: EJ greets Lexie - he just stopped by to be pick up the test result documents to take home for safekeeping. Lexie will get a nurse to get him those. She wants to know what's really going on - he didn't really need to run all those tests. EJ - With all due respect Lexie after what happened to Grace I didn't want to take any chances. Lexie tells him that even if he had run those tests on Grace it wouldn't have changed anything. EJ declares that they don't really know that. Lexie tells him to take it easy. EJ snarls - don't tell me to take it easy. Samantha and that guy should have thought before they kept me away from my daughter - they're going to pay for that. Lexie tells him he's scaring her - you're sounding way too much like Father. EJ rants - They kept me from my daughter. There's no excuse for that. Lexie - So you're other children, Johnny and Syndney, grow up in a house of hate? Lucky kids. EJ thinks she has said enough. Actually Lexie is just getting started. We need to talk about Sami - about you and Sami. She tells him she loves him, they're family and she's worried about him. She wants him to do something father never does - THINK! All this hatred, this anger, this need for revenge - is it because you didn't know about Grace or is it because Sami shared her life with another man? EJ declares it has nothing to do with Samantha sharing her life with another man, it's because he kept my daughter from me. Lexie - Right, she trusted Rafe that much and she didn't trust you. Sami loves Rafe. EJ tells her he's married to Nicole, he has a wife, he has Sydney and Johnny, he's very happy. Lexie - Then why can't you let Smi and Rafe go?

In Chloe's room Craig tells Lucas he can't tell him what to do. As the Dad he wants there to be a miracle, as a doctor he knows the chances of recovery are slim. Lucas will give Craig some time alone with Chloe. Craig tells Chloe - I want to tell you how much your mother and I and your sister love you - you didn't deserve this. He kisses her forehead and strokes her hair. Lucas comes back in and tells Craig it's getting kind of late. Craig says he's checking in to the Salem Inn. He tells Lucas that whatever he decides, he and Nancy will stand behind him. He kisses Chloe - this is no life for my daughter. He leaves. Lucas looks at Chloe and at the will - I know what I have to do.


Brady Pub - Part 3: Sami comes in and asks Pete if he's seen Arianna. He tells her she just left. She was just here with her brother. Sami says she was looking for Rafe - he's not answering his cell phone. Pete tells her he's on his way to the airport - he's going to the Dominican Republic. Sami realises he's going because of Dr. Baker and asks Pete if he said anything else. No but these are here - he hands her the travel brochures. Sami mutters - You're going after Dr. Baker, so am I.


Park - Part 3: Mia tells Brady she was scared and she didn't want to give up her life. Brady says maybe you did what was best for both you and the baby. That little baby has everything she needs and if she ever needed anything from you, you'd be right there to give it to her. The fact is she's fine and doesn't need anything from you right now so don't worry about moving on with your life. Mia - You're really smart about people, aren't you? Brady chuckles - I'm a genius except when it comes to myself. Mia leaves to finish her run. Brady calls the pub and finds out that Ari left. He walks away and Ari enters the park. She meets up with the guy that Brady attacked the day of their picnic. Did he do what she asked? He's trying but he needs a little something extra for all his trouble. Ari hands him an envelope - alright. You get me a meeting with your higher-up and I'll get you some more money. The thing is he wasn't talking about the money. Ari tells him that if he gets her in with the higher-ups they can work something else. Brady approaches them - the guy takes off. Brady confronts Ari - Wasn't that the guy that attacked you a couple of weeks ago. Do you want to tell me what the hell is going on?


Sami's place: Sami is packing some stuff into a carry-on - a horn honks - she yells, alright, keep your shirt on. She grabs her passport and shuts the lights out. Rafe, I'm going to find out what you think is so important about Dr. Baker.


Kiriakis mansion: Kate comes home and recalls some of the stuff Dan said to her. What the hell just happened? Was he playing me or not?


Pier - Part 2: Dan sits on the bench. Chloe, it makes my skin crawl to touch her. Whatever it takes to bring her down and to bring you back.


DiMera mansion - Part 3: Nicole on the phone - For God's sake Stefano this is like the 10th message I've left you. Where are you? I need to talk to you? EJ comes in and asks her why she needs to talk to his father.


Dr Baker - Part 2: Baker is packing his bags when he hears a knock on the door.


Preview: Dan to to Nathan (Melanie is there) - I'm going to bring Chloe back. I'm going to save her life with or without you. Lucas to Kate - Maybe it's time that we take her off life support. Stefano to Nicole - Dr. Baker is not a problem of yours anymore. Sami screaming when she sees Dr Baker dead - Rafe covers her mouth.
