A Look At Tomorrow for Friday, Oct. 2nd

Cheatin' Heart - Part 1: Nicole and Brady meet - there's no one around because breakfast isn't very popular there. He asks her how talk with EJ went last night. Not well - he needed time to digest something he learned. Considering she still has all her limbs she's guessing he doesn't know the truth. She has no idea what he was talking about - she can't worry about that now. They have to make sure they have their stories straight when EJ confronts them. Brady knows - he's going to say the secret is that he's using again and he thought it was her when he called the other night. Nicole is sure EJ will believe him and everything will be fine - back to normal. Brady scoffs - Normal? Everything has always been a lie. Does she think that EJ is never going to find out her secret - that he's never going to put together that Sydney is neither his or her kid - that he's not going to wonder when Sydney is 5 and doesn't look anything like her mother. Nicole can't hear us. Brady tells her she has to hear this. He'll lie for her this time because he said he would but they both know they're just postponing the inevitable. The secret is going to come out. Nicole shakes her head 'no'. She's so tired of his dire predictions. When he tells her that EJ is going to find out the truth it's like he's saying her life is over. When he finds out Sydney isn't their baby and she's been lying to him it will just be the end of her. Brady asks if she intends to keep this up forever. Nicole argues that EJ will continue to believe that Sydney is their baby because he wants to believe her - he loves her. She tells Brady if he just sticks to the plan everything will be fine - back to normal.


DiMera mansion - Part 1: EJ is on the phone with Marco - He wents to know every word Nicole has spoken since they met - everything she's done - everywhere she's been. After the call he listens to the recording again. EJ partakes of a liquid alcohol breakfast. The phone rings - Marco, what have you got? Are you sure?


Sami's place: Sami looks at a picture of her and Rafe on her phone then puts it aside. She checks out job opportunities - discards a couple and then goes back to the email Rafe sent her. She slams her computer closed. There's a knock on the door - it's Mia. She thinks she left her chem notebook here the last time she studied with Will. Sami hasn't seen it but Will probably knows where it is. Mia asks if he's there. Sami tells her he left for school. Mia should get going herself - sorry to bother her. Sami tells her Will told her what happened between them. Mia - Wow - He really does tell you everything. Sami says he only told her because he wanted her advice and needed her help - he was really upset for her (Mia). That is the only reason he told her about the baby. She can still trust him. She would never say anything. Mia says that is not the point. Sami knows that Will really cares for her. Mia tells her it's too late - she's already with someone else. She got back together with Chad. Sami - The father of your baby? Something doesn't add up. Why don't you tell me what's really going on? Mia asks her why she's surprised - Chad's a really good guy. Sami replies that Will said she hated him. Yeah she was mad when he abandoned her but now that he knows they had a baby together it's made them that much closer. Sami scoffs - When did you have time to get closer to him - didn't he just find out? Mia says yeah but they have such a strong connection it was like no time had gone by. Sami tells Mia she's lying - what are you hiding? Mia swears she's telling the truth. She and Will are over, she's back with Chad and nothing can change that. She leaves.


Meredith's Entombment Center - Part 1: Rafe comes to and sees the partial wall of bricks in front of him. Rafe calls out for Sami. Meredith is glad he finally woke up. She was beginning to worry that the last blow to the head killed him. He asks her what she's doing. She's making sure he never sees the light of day again. He tells not to do this. Meredith - A slow painful death - it's better than you deserve. Rafe says he loved Emily. Meredith asks if he loved her as much as he loved Sami. She wasn't able to save her sister from him but maybe she can save Sami from the same fate. That girl has been through enough already; losing a baby. Rafe gasps - baby - it's still alive. He passes out. Meredith asks what he's talking about. He comes to - Sami's baby didn't die. It wasn't her baby. Baby's still alive. He falls unconscious again. Meredith thinks that maybe she did hit him on the head one too many times. Her phone rings - she sees it's from Arianna so she lets it go to voicemail. The message is that Ari is coming over right away. Meredith calls Arianna and tells her it's not a good time to come over right now - she's a mess, the house is a mess. Ari tells her it will just take a minute. Rafe groans. He comes too and hears Meredith say Arianna's name telling her she can't come over. Ari says she is - she's on her way there. Rafe calls out Ari - weakly ... Meredith hangs up on Ari and asks unconscious Rafe - What the hell am I going to do now? Well you caught a break Hernandez. You were about to get bricked up in this basement and now because you're meddling little sister is on her way over I can't finish what I started. So, what are we going to do now?


Waterfront: Chad calls out to Will - he tried calling him last night - what happened. Will - So you could rub it in my face that Mia broke up with me? Chad smirks - he's sorry about that. Will tells him not to get his hopes up - he knows that Chad thinks this is his chance to get back together with her but it's not going to happen. Chad laughs - Dude, it already has. Will calls him a liar - Mia would never get back together with him. Chad scoffs - why wouldn't she - they were a great couple. Will says he treated her like dirt. She hated his guts for ditching her and not calling. Chad maintains they worked all that out. He and Mia had a baby together - they have a bond that makes everything else seem petty. It's way deeper than anything Will and Mia shared. Will argues - he has no idea what he and Mia had. I don't know why Mia got back together with you but I can tell you this - you're a moron if you think she still has feelings for you. Chad huffs - you want to start something, Horton. Will - You're not worth it. He walks away. Chad calls Mia and tells her to meet him at noon - they have to talk.


Brady Pub - Part 1: Roman comes in to tell Ari that Meredith's story checks out. She lost her job in Florida and came back a few days ago to rent out her deceased parent's house. What was she hoping for? Ari doesn't know. Meredith was acting very strange last night but then why wouldn't she be uncomfortable around me considering how she feels about my brother. Roman asks if there's still been no word from Rafe. Not since yesterday - she wonders where he can be. Roman says maybe he just needed to get out of town. He promises to call if he hears anything about her brother. He leaves.


DiMera mansion - Part 2: Brady and Nicole enter - she tells him to follow her lead. They go into the living room where EJ is drinking. Nicole tells him Brady is here. She told him that he (EJ) was upset with her so he's going to explain that silly little phone call about the secret. EJ doesn't say a word. Brady thinks he should come back another time. Nicole says no - he needs to clear things up with Brady - he needs to hear the truth. EJ picks up his bottle and glass - he'd like to know the truth. Brady apologises first - he didn't mean to put a damper on their honeymoon. He didn't know they were out of town. EJ drinks. Brady says he was high on cocaine when he called - he started using again. That's the secret he didn't want to come out. He knew Nicole knew and he didn't want her to say anything to anyone. EJ tells him to go home - go to a meeting or something. Brady tells EJ that he thinks he's lucky to have Nicole for a wife. She loves him and would do anything for him. EJ is well aware of that. Brady leaves. Nicole smiles - it's like she said - he completely misread the situation. The secret was Brady's drug addiction and he was terrified she might tell someone he had slipped. EJ is so sorry - he slams his glass down. I'm so sorry I ever believed a word out of your poisonous, lying mouth. Nicole tells him he's scaring her. He has a little something for her. Nicole looks at the box - what is that? He throws it on the desk - how about I show, you tell. She opens it and sees the fake pregnancy belly - she practically hyperventilates. She walks around with the padding in her hand - where did he get this? It's impossible; I ... EJ jumps in - You think you got rid of all the evidence. She asks him how long he's had this - was he digging through her trash? EJ - So we've established this is yours. Nicole stammers - No, I mean, you couldn't have ... EJ tells her not to worry - she's not going mad. He's sure she got rid of anything too incriminating. He grabs the fake belly - this is not the one she bought but he bought it at the same store. She doesn't know what he means. EJ - You know they've got a different one for every succeeding ... well, you would know that. It's amazing - they have one of these for every stage of pregnancy. Must have been quite cumbersome towards the end when you were wearing the ninth one - he throws the padding aside. Walking around all day, sleeping with it all night ... Nicole is silent. EJ yells - the cat got your tongue? Where are your lies now? Nicole - Fine. EJ screams - Oh, she speaks. Nicole admits she bought the padding because ... she stops. EJ yells - because ... because ... because ... She screams - Because a lot of women buy those things because when you're in you're first trimester it helps you choose maternity clothes
for your second and third trimesters. EJ - I see. That makes perfect sense now. You bought that so you could fill out your maternity wardrobe, is that right? Nicole - Yes! EJ sarcastically replies - I don't know what I was thinking. That makes so much sense. So tell me this - why were you so emotional and upset when you bought it - the salesperson told him she was almost in tears. Nicole claims she was hormonal - she could have been upset about anything - it could have been raining outside and she forgot her umbrella. He knows how fragile she was when she was pregnant. EJ - Were you? Nicole - What? EJ - Pregnant. Nicole says of course - why would you ask me that. EJ is so glad she just asked him that. He plays her the recording - Nicole sweats bullets.

EJ is going to play it for her again - she doesn't want to listen to it - she throws it on the floor and smashes it. She demands to know where he got that. He asks her if it matters. Yes it does - that was a prvate conversation. EJ screams - That was a private conversation about MY baby. Are you telling me that I have no business listening to that? She yells back - No you don't have any business because it's not about your baby. Yes she had a miscarriage but that was a few years ago. She's sorry she didn't tell him but she didn't want to bring up something so depressing when he was so happy. She didn't lose their baby - she's upstairs - our beautiful little girl is upstairs. EJ tells her they both know there is more to her confession than what is on that recording. You lost my baby - your baby and my baby. I don't know who that is upstairs but you better tell me the truth about "our" daughter. Who is she? Lying up there sleeping so peacefully without a care in the world. Tell me the truth about Sydney. It all makes a sick, horrible sense now. The secret that you shared with Brady was that you had a miscarriage but it wasn't years ago - you had a miscarriage last winter. You had a miscarriage the same night you ended up at Dr. Baker's clinic. You came back here and you were crying - you told me you were bleeding and that you had a close call. That was the night, wasn't it? It was that night when you were so upset on that couch (he points) that you couldn't even speak. That was it, wasn't it? Tell me. That was the night you had the miscarriage - that was the night you lost our child. Nicole shakes her head 'no.' She didn't lose their baby. She carried her the entire nine months and then she went into labour. The contractions came so fast - they were a minute apart right from the start - she barely made it to the clinic. It was so painful but she did it - she got through it without any drugs and there she was - our perfect little miracle - our beautiful little girl. You
have to know in your heart that Sydney is your daughter. EJ - Every fibre of my being tells me that girl is my daughter but that's impossible, isn't it because my daughter is dead. Nicole cries.


Cheatin' Heart - Part 2: Sami is happy to see her father there. He tells her she looks nice. She has a job interview at a spa down the street. She's a little anxious - she's early so she thought she'd wait here. Roman was supposed to meet a guy there but it doesn't look like he's going to show. They sit down and chat - he asks about the job. It's just an entry level position but she's sure she can work her way up to management someday. She has to - for her kids and for her. Roman is happy she's showing iniative - he's been worried about her. Sami tells him it's been tough but she's working her way through it. Rafe disappearing was a setback. Roman - no word from him. Sami tells him about the email she got yesterday. Roman comments that Arianna got one of those too. He was at the pub and they got to chatting and she asked him to check on the same woman Sami did. Meredith Hudson is back in town. Roman tells her she's fixing up her parents house so she can rent it out. Sami wonders if maybe Rafe talked to her - maybe she knows where Rafe is. She stops - she has to wrap her head around the fact that Rafe is gone. Her head knows that she has to move on but her heart is having a little trouble catching up but she knows it will. Roman knows she will get through this because she is as resilient as they come. He's always there for her. Sami has to get to her job interview.


Brady Pub - Part 2: Ari is just about to leave the pub when Brady comes in. He convinces her to talk to him - it's important. Ari apologises about yesterday. Whatever is going on between him and Nicole is none of her business - she didn't mean to start any trouble. He asks her if she told anyone else about the miscarriage. No and she promises she won't. She shouldn't have given him a hard time about that - she's the last person that should be judging anymore. Brady knows it's hard for her to understand why he's helping Nicole, Ari - I think I finally understand. I hope that everything works out for you. She has to go. Sami comes into the pub looking very bedraggled - Brady asks what the hell happened to her. Job interview happened. Brady - for what, a lion tamer? No she was actually going for an interview at a spa, a dog spa. Their conversation is hilarious.Sami describes her encounter with the ferocious Lady Windemere - the most vicious, ugly teacup poodle she's every met. Brady deadpans - She sounds like a real bitch. Sami laughs - You would think that her experience with bitches like Kate Roberts would help but no ... when Lady Windemere got hold of her sweater (she points to her arm) she wouldn't let go - Sami admits she panicked and shows how she flung out her arms - the dog went flying and ended up in the pool. Of course it couldn't swim or dog paddle so the groomer dived in after it. Brady laughs. You didn't get the job, did you? Sami - Real shocker huh? Brady says maybe her dog skills aren't up to par but her kid skills are. He suggests that she open a daycare in her home. Sami says she practically runs one now. She's here to tell her grandmother this story - give her a little chuckle. Brady is sorry she didn't get the
job. She is too - she's going to take charge of her life - she doesn't need a man. Brady - You really don't know where Rafe is, do you? No. He tells her he has resources if she wants him to look. He can't guarantee her anything but it might be worth a shot. Sami thinks it's kind of pathetic to have him search for a guy that doesn't want her in his life anyway. Brady doesn't think that's the case - it's a gut feeling he has. They were so good together and to end it like that doesn't make any sense to him. Not to Sami either. Brady tells her to give him the word - he bets his people could establish contact with him within 24 hours - being a Kiriakis has it perks. Sami thanks him but no, she needs to accept that that part of her life is over. She hugs him.


Meredith's Entombment Center - Part 2: Ari calls out Meredith's name as she opens the door in the basement where Rafe used to be - she says the door was open so she let herself in. She sees the partial brick wall - What's going on here? Ari looks around - I don't get it. She knew I was coming here.


Pier: Meredith drags Rafe along the pier and goes through his pockets. She then rolls him into the river and smiles.


Carly and Lawrence: Carly - I didn't realise then that I had married such a total monster. Lawrence - And I had married such a total bitch. (We here all this as the camera pans through the rooms). We hear a slap and then a gasp and then we see Carly holding her hand on a knife that she has just plunged into Lawrence's stomach.


Preview: Bo to Justin - It's a separation. Justin - Does that mean you'd want to make it legal? Sami crying at Grace's grave - Grace, I'm so afraid I'm never going to be whole again. EJ to Nicole - She's not our biological child, is she?
