A Look At Tomorrow for Monday, Oct 5th

Carly and Lawrence: The show opens with a replay of Carly stabbing Lawrence. She pulls the knife out as Lawrence looks at the blood on his hand. He falls to the floor gasping 'you ... will ... never ... find ... he dies. Carly looks at the bloody knife. Carly wipes the blood and her fingerprints off the knife using Lawrence's jacket. She jimmies the lock of a desk drawer and gets her passport. She picks up her suitcases and walks out.


Chez Rouge - Part 1: Sami greets Maggie - she sighs; this is harder than she thought. Maggie tells her that in these days there's no stigma in asking for a table for one. Sami isn't there to eat - she needs a job. Kate and Stefano are behind her and Kate chirps - Give her a job and I'll never eat here again. Maggie tells Sami she has no idea how she wishes she could give her a job at this very minute. Maggie confronts Kate - Do you think that you telling me you won't come here again is a threat? After everything you've done to Lucas, Chloe, Daniel ... Stefano steps in. He doesn't think Maggie's investors would be happy if they knew how she talked to one of her most influential customers. Maggie - I don't have to say anything Kate, do I. She knows how I feel about her. She tells them to follow her. Sami gets her dig in - It's nice to know that ruining your son's life again hasn't spoiled your appetite. Kate retorts - That would be absolutely devastating if I cared about what you thought. Maggie tells Sami that she must know this is pretty tough time to be looking for a job. Sami does but she had to give it a shot. Maggie tells her that she doesn't have much available right now. Sami understands - she's sorry to have bothered her. Maggie tells her to fill out an application and then maybe they'll come up with something. Stefano gives Maggie his order - all foods heavy in fat and sugar. Maggie mutters under her breath - His doctor wants him to put a little more fat in his diet as she's walking to the kitchen. Kate is a little concerned about Stefano's diet - after all that champagne and dessert last night. Stefano talks about going to Tuscany and raves about his vineyards - she's never tasted wine that good. Kate tells him they won't be going anywhere if he doesn't watch his health - did he check his blood sugar? Stefano - You really want to look after me, don't you? Kate doesn't want him leaving the restaurant on a gurney. Stefano tells her not to worry. He's going to take care of himself especially now when he's got the two of them to live for. Maggie looks at Sami's application - she's never seen one with so many gaps in employment covered by 'I was on death row'. Sami - Kate's my reference for that. Maggie - no experience in bookkeeping either. Sami - My checkbook was balanced ... once. Maggie asks if Caroline could use some help. Sami says no - she'd have to work for Rafe's sister. She'd rather work where she doesn't know anyone. Maggie has an idea - why don't they start her off in the office. Sami thanks her but no. She knows that Maggie is just making up a job for her. She appreciates that but ... Maggie - It's too much sympathy? Sami tells her that her kids are coming back tomorrow and she wants them to see that she can make it on her own. She's also scared - she misses her kids a lot but mostly she's scared that they're going to see how much she still misses Grace.


Waterfront: Brady runs into Mia. Mia asks if he's talked to Nicole; she's been so worried since Brady told her the secret may be out. Brady tells her they're in the clear - they dodged a bullet so far. Mia asks if he thinks it still may come out. He hopes not - as long as they keep everything between him, her and Nicole everything should be fine. He notices that she went pale when he said that - does she want to tell him something. Mia tells him she told Will that she had a baby and he told his Mom and Mrs. Horton knows and Chad. Brady is freaking out - Mia, my God! She didn't tell them everything - they don't know she gave the baby to Nicole - they think it was a closed adoption. Brady asks if Chad is fine with this. Mia admits he wasn't at first - he wanted to find the baby but she got him to back off. Brady asks how. She tells him the deal was that they get together and he has to forget about their little girl. Brady thought she was with Will - he realises she gave up Will. He's sorry about that. She tells him it's okay. It's worth it if it helps her baby have a good life - it's the least she could do. Brady has to go - he tells her to call him if she needs to talk. Chad comes along - he notices she's upset - why. She tells him she was thinking about their baby. He doesn't think so - she was thinking of Will. She asks him if it matters - she broke up with him, he's out of her life - that's what you wanted, right? Chad pouts - Not if she's going to keep pining away for him. She just broke up with Will last night - her feelings can't change that fast. Chad - But they will change? Mia shrugs - How do I know? Chad thinks she can get over him - she has control over her feelings. She asks him if he has control over his. Chad says she can stop thinking about Will so much and focusing on them - they were really happy together. He doesn't want her faking it with him. Mia needs time - she doesn't know how long - stop pressuring her. Chad says fine - forget this whole thing ever happened. Mia asks if he's going to look for the baby now. He should - that's what he wanted to do from the start. He just doesn't want her to hate him anymore. How did things get so screwed up? She doesn't know. All she knows is she wants to go the mall and see a baby without crying. She wants to go to homecoming and football games. She wants to have fun but she can't do that anymore. Everything changed. Chad knows - for him too. They hug. Will comes along - so it's true. You guys are back together. Mia says yeah - she's sorry - she should of told him. Will - The day after you broke up with me? Wow - you must have given that a lot of thought. Mia asks Chad for a minute alone. He makes sure to kiss Mia in front of Will before leaving. Will knows she's mad at him - is this payback? Mia says no. She just realised that she still had feelings for Chad and she buried them when she was with him. That doesn't mean she didn't care about him - she did but he betrayed her and Chad and her have the baby thing to work through. They need each other now - Chad gets what she's going through. Will says okay - he won't waste anymore of her time. Mia wishes things could have been different - he'll never know how much.


DiMera mansion: EJ states that their baby died, didn't she. Nicole lies - No. Sydney is their baby - he held her moments after she was born, they've raised her together - he's her daddy - he has to know that. EJ rages - We didn't actually conceive her, did we? You didn't actually give birth to her, did you? Say it - tell me you lied. Nicole cries - Yes, I lied. EJ makes her repeat that she lied - she does more than once. EJ demands to know what she lied about. She answers - you know. He yells - I think I do but I want you to tell me. She says please don't. He understands this is difficult for her - after months and weeks of every word, every
gesture, every kiss being a lie ... now he wants the truth - every excruciating detail. Let's start with our child. Our child died, didn't she? Nicole sobs - She died. I miscarried. EJ - Sydney is not our daughter. Nicole argues that she is because of how much they love and need her. EJ - you need her ... he explodes ... So you can keep all of the this, the money, the power and your fat divorce settlement. You saw all that slipping through your little fingers if you couldn't give me a child. Nicole - No - she cries. EJ wants the truth NOW. No more lies, no more evasions; I want the truth or I will go out and get another DNA test; one you can't get your grubby little hands on. Sydney, she's not our biological child, is she? IS SHE? Nicole - No, no she's not our biological daughter - she sobs. EJ grabs her around the neck with both hands and shakes her - You take me for a fool, don't you? She yells, NO. He lets her go. God of course you would. Why wouldn't you? You're absolutely right! God, I'm such an idiot. Don't touch me EJ ... no, no, no, we can't for the sake of the baby, oh for the sake of the bloody baby. You must have been laughing your ass off. Nicole - I just wanted us to have a family. EJ - And you weren't going to let a little something like the truth get in the way, were you? She knew how much he wanted that baby. EJ yells that she knew that baby was her meal ticket. When I found out what Samantha did to me you were so incredibly caring and just so wonderfully understanding because you did exactly the same thing.

The only difference was you didn't tell me my baby died. I supposed you couldn't, could you? I mean, you had sealed the deal yet. Nicole insists that that is not what this is about. I love you. I knew how much you wanted that baby. I just wanted us to be happy. EJ comments that when he first got together with her EVERYBODY told him that she couldn't be trusted and he told them - no, I see a side of her that other people don't see. More fool me. They were right. You're just a lying, selfish piece of trash. Nicole - You can call me what you want, EJ. I don't care but I AM NOT selfish. I did all of this, ALL OF IT, for YOU! EJ tells her she should be ashamed of herself. That's the biggest lie she's told yet. Nicole argues - She did all of this for him. EJ - You did everything for me? He screams - You did it for this house, you did it for the money, you did it for everything but me. Nicole yells back - You keep talking over me because you know it's true. Everything that has happened between us; everything that we have shared with Sydney - those weren't lies. That was real happiness; that was real love ... He yells - Would you shut up! My child died and you didn't waste two minutes to start your little charade. He pours himself a drink. Your greed just kicked in. He gulps the drink down and pours another. Nicole - My baby was a miracle growing inside of me. When she was awake, when she was asleep I'd talk to her. Can you imagine for one minute what it must have been like ... she cries ... I would have done anything, anything to save that baby and all I could do was lie there while her life slipped away from me. EJ drinks - But you didn't even come to me, you went to Brady. You spoke to him, you didn't speak to me. Nicole explains that he was gone. EJ yells - So this is my fault now? Nicole waited for him but he flew off to Europe. No, it's not his fault. She saw the look on his face - when he looked at the sonogram she knew how much he wanted that baby - how much he wanted to love their baby and she wanted nothing more in the world than to give him a child. EJ - Of course you couldn't give me my child, could you? My child was dead. I had two daughters. They both died. EJ drinks and drinks some more emptying the bottle. This is what Nicole never wanted to happen. EJ sarcastically replies - You wanted to spare me the pain, did you? Yes. EJ - It had nothing to do with the money. Nicole - You can throw that in my face as much as you want but I know why I did what I did. EJ goes on and on about her not having to dip her into her piggy back when she went out and bought fake pregnancy pillows. He bets the money was useful when she had to buy maternity clothing that she'd never wear. And he's sure it was just wonderful to have it sitting there when she had to go out and buy herself a baby. Where did you get? Come on - TELL ME. Who are Sydney's real parents? He grabs her around the throat. You wouldn't think about lying to me again, would you? Where did you get Sydney? Nicole recalls stealing Sami's baby and throwing out Mia's baby like day old trash. EJ - I want an answer sweetheart, now ... now.


Brady Pub: Justin asks Bo if he minds if he joins him - unless he wants to be alone. Bo has had enough alone time these past few days. Justin sits down - it must be difficult not to have Hope and Ciara around. Bo has talked to Hope - he knows that Justin encouraged her to stay at home - he appreciates the effort. Justin hopes they'll both be back home soon. About that, Bo needs some advice and he may need a lawyer. Justin - Corporate or criminal? Domestic. Justin says that's not his area of expertise. Bo shrugs - it's a simple case. Ciara went through hell, kidnapped, traumatized, taken from her family - we get her home and everything is fine and Hope decides the best thing for their daughter is to take her from her family. Now she won't take his calls - he doesn't even know where they are. It's not right. It's a separation. Justin - And you want a lawyer? Does that mean you want to make it legal? No he doesn't want a legal separation - Hope and Ciara are his life. Justin says that's good because once you drag the courts into a domestic issue it really diminshes any chance of a happy ending. Bo comments - I thought this wasn't your area of expertise. Justin would have said anything not to have to side with one or the other. As your cousin, as your friend - why do want a lawyer if you don't want a legal separation? Bo explains that Ciara is his daughter. She has a mother and a father and he doesn't think it's right that Hope can make a decision about what is best for their daughter on her own. Justin thinks it sounds like he's asking for a custody fight without a divorce. No - Ciara needs both her parents. He needs to talk to his wife - they need some communication and he knows that Justin has her ear so he was hoping he could help him out. Justin knows that no one knows Hope better than Bo but he'd be very careful about issuing any ultimatums - it might make things worse. Bo - So I wait for my wife to decide when I have the right to see my own child? Justin says no one should have gone through what he and Hope went through during the kidnapped. He thinks the situation was made worse because they both had to deal with it as cops and parents. Bo - We were at each other's throats. Justin doesn't want to see things escalate between the two of them - a cooling off period isn't the worse thing in the world. Bo tells him that when someone takes his baby from him and doesn't even let him talk to them - he doesn't cool off. He's never been this angry in his life.


Hospital: Chloe tells Daniel Lexie gave her a clean bill of health - her fast recovery must be because she had a truly excellent doctor. She asks him how it is to be back at work. He didn't miss the paperwork. They agree to meet for lunch. As Chloe is leaving she runs into Philip. Philip - Awkward isn't it? He doesn't know what to say. Chloe is sorry about a lot things herself. They talk about Lucas briefly - Philip thinks he'll come out alright. Chloe hopes so. Philip hands her an envelope. Lucas wanted him to give this to her - he thinks it will make things easier for her. OMG - these are annulment papers. Philip sneers - If you love someone set them free. He apologises - this is awkward. Chloe tried to do the right thing. Philip knows it's just that Lucas is in really bad shape. Chloe takes the blame. Philip says it isn't her fault. He apologises again - he's in a really foul mood and he's taking it out on her. He's in no position to judge. Philip thinks Lucas did the right thing. Chloe never meant to hurt Lucas. Philip thinks that even Lucas knows that - maybe this will be the wake-up call he needs. Philip notices her engagement ring. Things move fast around here, don't they? He asks if she heard about his mother. She hasn't. She's Mrs. Stefano DiMera. Chloe doesn't know what to say. Philip thinks that makes them some crazy type of inlaws - the woman who tried to kill you married the man who tried to kill me. Chloe guesses it's going to pretty hard for him to deal with that. Philip says not so much - she's not a part of my life anymore. Dan finds Chloe sitting in the waiting area. She has some paperwork now. Dan looks at the papers - Lucas did this already? He agreed to an annulment? Chloe says yeah, it's not official yet but it will be. Dan comments that instead of being happy that they're free she's sitting looking like she lost her best friend. She's feeling guilty. Dan asks if she think Lucas did this to make her feel bad. No. Dan tells her to accept that for once Lucas did the right thing. He knows she thinks he doesn't have any sympathy for the guy and she's right - he never thought he'd grow up. But this is what a man would do. It's the first time he's seen Lucas make hard decisions and face the music - feeling guilty about that is not right. This is good for Lucas to do this. He admitted their marriage was a mistake they both made and yet she's shouldering all the blame. Please stop and let Lucas try and move on. Chloe guesses they are free now - she smiles. They kiss.


Airplane: Carly's seatmate watches as she takes a big gulp of her drink. He asks - Nervous flyer? What brings her to the midwest? Carly - I'm going home to Salem.


Chez Rouge - Part 2: Maggie thinks she understands what Sami is going through. Even though Janice wasn't her biological daughter losing her was ... Sami - It doesn't matter when it comes to kids; love is love is love. Maggie - Maybe you won't believe me now but you're going to be alright. Sami says she has to be for her kids. Maggie tells her that she's one hell of a mother. Stefano chews his steak - tough and bland. Kate puts salt on it - it's a tenderizer. Stefano gushes about his devoted wife. Kate notices Philip come in with a guy. The guy tells Philip he's going to go and offer his congratulations to the newlyweds. Philip will pass.
