A Look At Tomorrow for Tuesday, Oct. 6th

DiMera mansion: EJ pours himself yet another drink as Nicole says this is what she never wanted to happen. EJ has figured out it was Dr. Baker. That's why he was such an unpleasant part of their lives for so many months. He thought Baker was just incredibly disorganized but he was so wrong. He handled all the details like the ID bracelet, medical records, didn't he? He was like a full service agency for you, wasn't he? Nicole asks him if he's enjoying himself. EJ explodes - AM I WHAT? No, he's not enjoying himself. He couldn't figure out why his wife wouldn't nurse; how she got her figure back so quickly; how she was back in the sack 2 days after giving birth. Except it's not giving birth; it's more like purchasing a baby because that's what you did, isn't it. It's his opinion that Dr. Baker services don't come cheap. Nicole tells him they have a beautiful, healthy, loving little girl. EJ - She's not ours. Nicole disagrees. You wanted a child more than anything - we have one and we love her and she loves us and the only thing that will ruin this dream is you. EJ asks her what she's going to do when someone walks in through the door and says 'excuse me, I'd like my daughter back'. Nicole - That won't happen. That baby is Sydney Anne DiMera and there is nothing that will ever change that. EJ - So you took care of everything. No problems on the horizon? Did you get Dr. Baker's word on that. Nicole says that he was the last chance, hell, the only chance of giving us a baby. Does he think she wanted this to happen. She didn't want to lose her baby. She didn't want to live in constant fear that he would find out. He asks why she didn't just come to him. Was he such a pig, such an idiot that he wouldn't understand. Maybe she would have if she knew he loved her. EJ - So this is my fault? She says no - it was her. She was sure no one could ever really love her and she was convinced he loved the baby not her. EJ - I guess now we'll never know. Nicole says no we do know. He said on the plane - for the first time in my life I know someone loves me. It all started with the baby - look how happy we were. EJ - How stupid I was. Nicole - No. Think about it EJ - I did the right thing. No one is going to take the baby from them. She points out that Sydney hasn't changed one iota from the baby he loved so much. EJ - So the truth is irrelevant? None of these lies matter? Nicole tells him to listen to himself. You put an innocent girl in a morgue drawer and I'm in trouble for lying. I gave you everything you wanted. EJ - I wanted my own child. Nicole - EJ, could you be anymore self-absorbed? I had one shot at having a baby and I lost that baby. I was shattered and crazy and I couldn't bear to see you hurting the way I was hurting so I lied. I lied to you but the worse thing that happened in that lie is that you were the happiest you've ever been. I turned myself inside out for you and all you can see is that she is not your biological daughter. EJ saracastically thanks her for doing all this for him. Nicole - Well it is the truth. The question is, are you man enough to face it?

EJ comments that she certainly doesn't lack for nerve. Nicole tells him she fought tooth and nail to make the three of them a family. You have to accept ... He yells - I don't have to accept anything. They hear Sydney crying. Nicole says yes you do. You have to be that little girl's, your little girl's daddy. You have to love her and be happy? Is that so wrong? Is that too much to ask? She tells him that the way she loves him and the way they both love their little girl is not a lie. She may not be their biological daughter but she is theirs - he has to believe that. Nicole comes down with Sydney - you're okay now - you just wanted to be with mommy and daddy. She asks EJ if he wants to hold her. EJ - She's fine. Nicole says she is fine because she's with them now. Nicole says it wasn't all a lie. Her love for Sydney and for him is very real. From the moment they brought her home she's been in their hearts; the center of their lives. She may not be their biological child but she is theirs in every way that matters most - in their hearts and souls. He has to believe that. EJ - She's not my daughter and she never will be. Nicole keeps on - She is yours - you're her daddy - the only daddy she's ever known. She knows he's angry at her and disappointed but Sydney is innocent - Please don't take it out on her. She
needs you. Nicole asks Sydney if she wants her daddy to hold her. EJ warns her - Don't. Nicole tells him to look at them and tell me she's not your daughter. EJ - She's perfect. She's the most perfect little girl in the world but I can't do this. He kisses Sydney on her head. I'm kissing her for the last time. Nicole puts Sydney in the playpen. Kissing her for the last time ... EJ she needs you. She's an innocent in all this. He knows. Nicole asks - why are you blaming her for my mistakes. He isn't. Nicole - Even thinking about abandoning her is like you're punishing her too. He's just having to come to terms with the new reality. Nicole - The reality is we're
a family. EJ - You told me Sydney was my flesh and blood daughter. And you went to incredible lengths to protect that lie. You came up with a pregnancy pillow and a birth. You even fudged a DNA test. Nicole asks why that is important now. It's important because in doing so you compromised your daughter's safety. Nicole - No, I didn't. EJ - Yes you did it just to protect a lie. Nicole - It's not a lie. Sydney means the world to me. You mean the world to me. I love you with all my heart. You're my life. EJ - Answer me this? What would have happened if Sydney got sick. I would have went to the hospital to give my blood, my bone marrow, my liver, my anything but it would have all been for nothing because I have no connection to that child. Nicole - EJ you do. You are Sydney's real father.


Chez Rouge: Philip's lunch guest congratulates Kate. Sami comes back looking for Maggie and runs into Philip. She notices Kate and Stefano and jokes - is he having trouble with the family bonding with the new step-daddy. She realises he's not ready for jokes. Philip says that Maggie told him she played a big part in getting Lucas into treatment. Sami just reminded him what was most important to him, his kids. Philip smiles - Aunt Maggie told him Sami reminded Lucas forcefully. Sami shrugs - Some might have called it blackmail but it wouldn't have worked if he didn't want to get better. Philip thanks her - no matter what he needed it; he needed to go. Sami comments on the fact that he'd being doing great for so long too. Everything that happened with Grace, he was there for her. He's been a really good friend to her. Philip says he's had a tough couple of months. Sami - You think? What with his mother poisoning his cheating wife. They stare at Kate. Sami - She's really unbelievable, isn't she? Nothing she does has consequences. Philip states that there will be consequences. Kate tells Stefano that Philip is looking at her the way he used to look at him. Stefano shrugs - he'll get over it. Kate - Like you got over losing Tony? Philip thinks he married her to get payback. Stefano declares that is a vile idea. Kate is upset - it's just like the wedding - he just sits there and looks at her. Stefano thinks Philip is acting like a spoiled child. Kate
disagrees - he's acting like a child that's been badly hurt. Stefano tells her not to let Philip see her cry - he may enjoy it. Kate wants to leave. Philip comes over and asks Mrs. DiMera if she's having second thoughts. Is it beginning to sink in that you're married to this man. He can put you on public display anytime he feels like. This is only the beginning - it's not going to stop. Do you think this was an accident? You don't think he didn't know I was going to be here? Stefano shrugs - Philip reminds him of the call he took this morning and mentioning having lunch here. Stefano chuckles - does he know how absurb that sounds? Philip tells Kate it's only just begun - this is your life. Stefano doesn't think he should talk to his mother like that. Philip replies that this woman crossed a line and he doesn't think he can forgive her. He walks out just as Daniel and Chloe come in - they see Stefano and Kate.

Kate wants to leave when she sees Daniel and Chloe. Stefano - And miss the souffle? Where are your priorities? Do not give them the satisfaction of seeing her run. Daniel orders a bottle of their best champagne. After Maggie leaves Daniel tells Chloe he has something for her. She assumes it's jewelry when she sees the box but it's a key engraved with the word 'Love'. She guesses it's a key to his apartment - it is. He knows she wanted to wait until they were married - let's wait together. She says it won't make waiting any easier. It will be sheer torture but he's going to enjoy every minute of it. They kiss. Kate says they're making her ill - she's going
with or without him. Stefano gets up and collapses. Daniel rushes over and checks Stefano. He tells Maggie to dial 911 and get an ambulance here. Dan starts compressions and tells the other guests to clear the area. Kate asks if he's going to be alright. Dan - That depends on what you did to him. Dan gets a heartbeat just as the EMT's arrive. He tells Kate to stay away from Stefano. He then tells Chloe to notify the family - he's going to the hospital with Stefano. They leave. Kate asks Maggie and Chloe what they're staring at. My husband just had a heartache. Maybe you offer a few words of comfort. Maggie - Comforting words? Let's see. Kate don't be sad. Just because Stefano didn't actually drop did doesn't mean you didn't do a whole lot of damage. Chloe - I'm sure you took at least a few years off his
life. Don't worry. Kate doesn't need this. Maggie sarcastically tells her to keep up the good work. The next heart attack could do him in once and for all. Kate - You go to hell, both of you.


Brady Pub - Part 1: Bo tells Justin this doesn't make any sense. He's been in love with Hope since he was 17 and this is how they end up? Justin reminds him they've been through so much before and they've always worked it out. Bo thinks that maybe they pushed it too far after Zack died. Bo wants to change the subject. He asks Justin when he's going back to Dubai. He isn't sure that he's going to - the truth is he and Adrienne are going through a hard time themselves. He tells Bo that they are not unique. Bo is sorry - they're good together. Isn't it weird how you love somebody; know them or think you know them still they can take you completely by surprise.


Airplane - Part 1: Carly recalls Lawrence catching her packing and asking - what the hell do you think you are doing? What do you think? He grabs her - you will never leave me, do you understand? I own you. He pushes her on the bed. She tells him to stay away from her. She then flashs back to their argument that culminates in her stabbing him. She tells herself - Bo can help me. I know he can. Carly takes another sip of her drink. She recalls a happier time with her and Lawrence on a private jet. She tells him she loves him and her home is right here with him and Nicky. She goes from that memory to the memory of pulling the knife out of Lawrence and watching him fall to the floor. A flight attendant brings Carly a pillow - she looks like she can use some sleep. Carly closes her eyes and recalls more happy times on the private jet - they're going to have a great life. She can hardly wait. Lawrence tells her she doesn't have to because it's already started. Her next memory ie of Bo telling Lawrence to get his hands off of her and a fight between Lawrence and Bo. Heavy turbulence wakes her up with a start. She picks up the phone and asks for a number in Salem.


Cemetery: Sami puts a rose on Grace's tombstone. Johnny and Allie are coming home today. She's so excited to see them - she knows that Grace would be too. She's so sorry about her flowers. It's fall now and it's going to be harder to keep things the way they should be. Everyday I think about trying to be the mom that you would want me to be. I'm trying to be strong for you. Grace, there's a part of me that is missing and no matter how hard I try, I'm so afraid that I'm never going to be whole again. She cries. There's this giant hole in my heart and I know it's never going to filled. I miss you so much Grace. Will comes with a bouquet of flowers. He tells Sami he tries to come at least once a week. Sami didn't know that. Will - It makes me feel close to her. Sami knows how much he misses her. She says everytime she thinks she's moving forward it hits her again - even in her dreams. Will dreams about Grace too all the time. Sami says she dreamt last night that Grace was in a swing - she loved it. She was laughing then she started to cry. She picked her up and held her so tight. It was nice to hold her again even if it was only just a dream. Sami apologises for going to pieces like that. He tells her not to apologise - he's get like that sometimes too about Grace - he just can't help it. Sami - I'm the mom; I should be taking care of you. He tells her they can take turns. Sami says he's going through a lot right now. He'll be okay. She knows that. She says he's dealing with his dad and his issues and then there's Mia. She tells him Mia stopped by this morning. She said she left her chemistry book there - she thinks that was just an excuse. She was really upset. Will - Why should I care? She dumped me and now she's with Chad. End of story. Sami - Somehow I don't think so. Will asks if she's heard from Rafe. Not since the email. She asks Will to promise that he'll never dump a girl by email. Will says it's so weird for Rafe not to even call. Sami - Maybe he didn't want to talk to her or answer any of her questions. Will still can't believe that Rafe would leave town like that - just out of the blue. Sami says they had great times together but the truth was they had problems. Rafe is probably better off without her. Will says that's crazy - they were great together. Sami says coming from him that means a lot. She thinks he's a good judge of character. Will - Not always. Sami says for his age he's very smart, incredibly insightful. Will knows she still loves Rafe a lot. Sami - Well he's gone just like Grace is gone. They are out of my life. That's the facts and I just have to deal with it. Sami says she has to go. Will offers to come along. She has to pick up the twins - they are so excited to see their big brother again. Will has missed them too. Sami - I am so blessed. I have my beautiful, sweet, sensitive Allie; my funny, fearless, outgoing Johnny and you - and you are smart, strong and you have a good heart. Now more than ever I'm so lucky to have you wonderful children to keep me going. You keep me strong. She stops and turns towards the gravestone. Grace, if you had been an only child I don't know how I could have gone on. I can't even imagine.


Carly & Lawrence's hotel room: A staff member comes in and finds Lawrence on the floor. He checks for a pulse. He's dead.


Brady Pub - Part 2: Bo's phone rings. The connection isn't very clear so Bo asks 'who is this?' Bo keeps saying Hello - he sees the call was disconnected. Justin asks who it was. Bo says the call came from an airplane - he couldn't get a good read on the voice but he's pretty sure he knows her. Justin - Could it have been Hope? Bo asks - why would it be Hope? Justin - Maybe she and Ciara went away for a few days and now they're coming home to you.


Airplane - Part 2: When Bo answers all Carly says is 'Bo'. She asks - Are you there? The plane hits turbulence again and she loses the connection. Carly asks the flight attendant if the plane is in one piece. They hit a patch of bad weather but everything is okay now. Nervous flyer? Carly - Not always. Stressful day. She recalls stabbing Lawrence and his last words 'you won't find ...'
