A Look At Tomorrow for Wednesday, Oct. 7th

DiMera mansion - Part 1: Nicole tells EJ he is Sydney's real father - a father who couldn't love his daughter more. He has so many dreams for her ... for us ... EJ yells - Dreams that were based on a lie. Nicole says no, not lies - not in the way that matters most. He would believe her if his father was here. EJ is confused - if my father was here? Nicole says yes. If he was here he'd tell you what I'm trying to tell you now - that Sydney - she really and truly is yours. She is your child EJ. EJ throws his hands in the air in disgust. Nicole - I wanted to give you a child more than anything. When I miscarried I thought that was never going to happen because I knew that I could never get pregnant again. Something strange happened; a miracle - not a conventional miracle ... EJ yells - stop babbling - what is it that you're trying to get out. Nicole tells him their beautiful Sydney is ... Chloe walks in - EJ tells her not now. Chloe tells him Stefano is in the hospital - he had some sort of attack - apparently he's very ill. EJ starts heading out. Nicole is going to go with him. He coldly tells her to do herself a favour and sit back down NOW. He leaves. Chloe asks Nicole what in the world was that about. Nicole sobs - He knows that Sydney is not mine - she's not my baby. Chloe - Then whose is she? Nicole asks why it matters? With Stefano ill maybe it never will. Chloe needs her to be straight with her - what have you been doing and what is going on and how is Sydney not your child? Nicole tells her she was pregnant with EJ's baby and then her miracle turned into a nightmare. She miscarried in her second trimester. It was so sad and so horrible she couldn't accept that her precious girl was gone so she pretended to EJ and everyone else. She wore padding - bigger and bigger as time went on. She told EJ he couldn't come close because she was fragile and hormonal. Chloe can't believe this. Nicole tells her that when it was time to give birth she found a woman who was as far along in her pregnancy as she would have been and she agreed to give me her baby. Chloe doesn't get it. She's not in a position to judge ... Nicole - but you're judging me. Chloe just doesn't understand how she could think that she would get away with this. Nicole cries - I did until now. Chloe - Did you think that was the right thing to do - to lie to EJ about something so important. Nicole says she lied because she loves her husband and baby - they mean everything to her. She has to go to him - she has to be with him. Chloe says no - he doesn't want you there with him. Nicole has to explain why she did everything. I did it for my family - I need to be there. Chloe yells No - you're not going anywhere. Nicole insists that she needs to be with him - he needs to know. Chloe tells her to shut up and listen. The best thing she could do right now is take a step back. No man that finds out that a child he thought was his isn't his is suddenly going to be all forgiving and happy just because he's told the deception was motivated by love and or whatever the hell it is she's going to tell him. Nicole asks if she's saying he's never going to forgive her. She doesn't know - she can't predict that but she does know that he needs some time. Nicole scoffs - time to throw me out on my ass and take away everything that's ever mattered to me. Nicole asks how Stefano is - is he going to die? Chloe doesn't know - she supposes it's possible. Nicole - That changes everything. I need to be with EJ so please do not stop me. Nicole asks her to look after Sydney - Mary will be back in an hour. That little girl's future and mine is on the line - she leaves.


Airplane: Carly asks the flight attendant if the turbulence is causing problems with the phone - she can't get through to a friend. The woman suggests that she try calling someone us. Carly will do that and that will tell her if the problem is at this end. She says 'Justin'. Carly can't get through. Her seatmate returns and notices how afraid she is - he tells her he does this flight every week - it's just air pockets. Carly recalls her argument with Lawrence and then stabbing him. Her seatmate asks if she's alright. She is - she just has a lot on her mind. The turbulence gets worst - she asks the guy if this is normal. He tells her it's actually extreme -
he's never felt this kind of turbulence. He takes her hand - shall we pray together. Carly - OMG - you think we're going down. The lights go out briefly - Carly prays please don't let me die like this - I need to be with people I love. Instead of her seatmate holding her hand she sees Lawrence. He tells her - You are darling, you are. Lawrence tells Carly she killed him and now she's going to join him in death. She yells No, no, no.


Brady Pub: Bo is telling Justin he's probably right; Hope probably took Ciara someplace for a few days. Justin's phone rings - it's an in-flight call. He tells Bo the call never came through. If it was Hope she would have called Bo back - she wouldn't have called him. Bo's cell rings - it's Ciara. I miss you Daddy. He misses her too - where are you? Did you go on a trip? No. He asks if mommy is there with her yes. Ciara - I just wanted to tell you I love you. Bo loves her too and he misses her. He sends her a hug and tells her to hug mommy for him too. He tells Justin that they didn't go anywhere so it wasn't Hope that phoned. Justin - Than who called? Bo thinks that whoever called was someone that needed to reach him badly.


Hospital - Part 1: Dan tells the nurse they've got Stefano stablized and breathing. He wants more than the ususal tox screen - he wants testing for every possible poison. Kate argues with Maggie because Maggie won't let her go into Stefano's room. Maggie tells her to go home, relax, read a book, plot another murder ... Kate insists she had nothing to do with his attack - she was just as shocked as Maggie to see him go down. Kate is going to see Stefano - Maggie blocks her way. Kate threatens to call security. Maggie tells her she didn't just fall off the turnip truck. She isn't for one minute going to buy any of her lies like she did about Chloe and Daniel. Kate states her husband is diabetic - he had an episode - it happens. Maggie is sure it does especially when he's married to a homicidal maniac. Kate says her husband has been gourging himself on food and alcohol since the wedding - she warned him - other people warned him about his health ... Maggie yells; Stop - I saw you at the restaurant. I know what you did to him. She saw Kate sprinkling something on Stefano's food. Kate asks if she really thinks she would attempt to poison her husband after just being accused of trying to poison her daughter-in-law. Maggie - After what you did to Chloe you are never going to be above suspicion. Kate ignores her and heads towards Stefano's room - Daniel steps out. EJ arrives. Daniel tells him that his father had a heart attack. Right now he's stable. EJ wants to see him. Dan says not right now. They're waiting on test results including a toxicology report. EJ looks at Kate - Kate smirks. EJ asks Kate what she did to his father. She married him and then she watched as he gourged himself on fatty foods and sweet desserts. Is it surprising that he had an attack considering the way he eats and drinks plus the stress of living under the same roof as EJ and his mental case of a wife. EJ - When my father regains consciousness ... Kate jumps in - IF he regains consciousness he'll vindicate me and if he doesn't then it's a whole different story. EJ asks her what she means by that. Kate tells him that the pre-nup she signed - if
they divorce she gets nothing but if she's left a widow ... it appears that if his father dies she'll have controlling interest in DiMera Enterprises. EJ - You can't be serious. Kate - Oh but I am. She sees Daniel - any news on her husband. Daniel tells her to come with him.


Sami's place: Sami is playing with Johnny; Will tells her Allie went to her room to get her penguin. Johnny goes to get his penguin too. Will suggests they only do fun stuff tonight - make popcorn and watch a movie with the twins. Sami would love that but it will have to be with Allie because it's EJ's night to have Johnny. She tried to get him to let her keep him on his first night home put he wouldn't agree. She checks her phone - she thought she'd have a hundred messages from him already but she has nothing; not even a text. What could be more important than his son? Sami tries calling again. No answer on his cell phone and landline. Will thinks that's good - EJ obviously has something else going on so Johnny can spend the night with them.


Carly & Lawrence's hotel room: A man looks at the blood stained carpet. Find the wife immediately. It was her. She did this.


DiMera mansion - Part 2: Chloe is holding Sydney when the doorbell rings. It's Sami with Johnny - she asks where Nicole and EJ are. Chloe tells her they're at the hospital. There's some kind of crisis with Stefano. Chloe really has to go - would she mind - she hands over Sydney. Mary will be back soon - the sippy cup is in the living room - she doesn't know where the diapers are - she looked all over for them - she's gotta go - she leaves. Sami leaves Nicole a message - she's here at her place because it's EJ's night with Johnny but EJ isn't here. She wanted her to know that she's taking care of Sydney because Chloe just handed her off. She doesn't mind looking after her but please call and let me know what's going on. Sami now leaves EJ a message - she reminds him tonight was supposed to be his night with Johnny and here she is at his place and he's not. Johnny is asleep upstairs. You won't like hearing that I'm looking after Sydney right now because your nanny called in sick so if you want to come home and handle it that would be awesome.


Hospital - Part 2: Dan tells Kate the tests came back and they know exactly why Stefano had a heartache. Kate gets really sarcastic - a middle-aged diabetic man who eats like a horse and drinks like a fish and you figured it out - you should alert the Nobel Prize people. Dan says her husband almost died. Kate knows he would love it if he could blame it on her but unfortunately for him she did nothing to hurt the man. Dan - That's where you're wrong Mrs. DiMera. Stefano's blood work came back and his heart attack is diabetes related. Kate gets worked up - why did he say it was her fault. Dan tells her to let him finish. When she knew Chloe was going to live she went to Stefano and convinced him to cover her tracks and get rid of all the evidence and in return for his help she married the son of a
bitch. Kate claims that is fiction - what does it have to do with Stefano's illness. Dan - It has everything to do with his illness. She knew that Stefano was cavalier as hell about his diabetes - didn't think it was life-threatening and you did nothing to disabuse him of that very dangerous notion. He didn't want it to get in the way of his celebrating this marriage and you were only too happy to oblige - almost encouraging him to neglect his health. You didn't even try to stop him from self-destructing because you want him to die. Kate gets angry - this is harassment. Dan tells her they're done but she insists on having her say. She would never ever hurt the one man that stood by her when no one else would. Daniel - Isn't that the man that also tried to kill your son? Kate claims there is no proof of that. Stefano has her best interests at heart. Dan says the hospital staff has their patient's best interests at heart which is why he is not going to allow her to go near Mr. DiMera's room. Kate says that is outrageous - she'll get a court order. Dan shrugs - the hospital board will make sure a judge doesn't grant one. It's up to her - she can make a fuss and draw attention to her unsavoury reputation or do as he says and stay the hell away from Stefano.

EJ sees Nicole arrive and asks Maggie to excuse them. He looks at Nicole - I thought I told you to go away. She came to support him with his father so ill. She's his wife - she wants to help him get through this. EJ - If it didn't register the first time let me make this absolutely clear to you - You mean nothing to me so go away before I have you thrown out of her. She asks him not to do this to her. EJ - Our entire union was based on a lie so why don't you go home and get that daughter that you tried to pass off as mine and get out of my house because I never want to set eyes on you again. Nicole - So that's it. You're just going to throw us out on the street. EJ claims it wasn't an easy decision. He looks pretty calm to Nicole. EJ states that he's in shock. Nicole says she is too. EJ is sorry but he refuses to live in his house under the lie she perpetrated oh him and his family. Nicole - We are your family - Sydney and I are your family. EJ starts walking away but Nicole stops him. He jerks away - Get your hands off me. Nicole - EJ please she is your real daughter. That's what I was trying to tell you before when Chloe interrupted us. EJ tells her to shut up. That's enough. He wants an end to this - these lies are some kind of insane disease of hers. Nicole - No more lies. No more deception. I will tell you everything. EJ - You are completely incapable of telling the truth - it's like deception is in your blood - it's like your stock in trade. He's had enough of her asinine fabrications and her outrageous excuses for whatever bizarre behaviour you were investing in at the time - wanting a sleazy obstretician to deliver the baby or volunteering to help pregnant teenagers ... he stops short. You weren't volunteering - you were shopping for a baby you little bitch. He can't believe how gullible he was - how foolish he was that he didn't see through her. Nicole - Because you loved me. EJ - I was deluded by you. Nicole - Were you deluded when you fell in love with Sydney. From the first moment you held her - that look in your eyes EJ - you knew. You knew she was yours. EJ says this has nothing to do with the bond he has with Sydney. This is about her and the lies she brought into the house - the lies that destroyed everything. He walks away from her and goes into Stefano's room. Lexie tells him there is no change. She asks where Nicole is - she thought she'd be with him. EJ - Nicole is no longer a part of my life. Nicole is at the elevator - No, Nicole. You're not leaving. There's something you have to do first.


Kiriakis mansion: Victor hears Philip booking a hot air balloon ride and asks if it's to impress a client. It's not business related. Victor - Than there must be a woman involved - he hopes it's not Stephanie - she did not nothing but depress him. She added not one iota of joy to his life. Victor wants to know where he met this woman - all his social engagements have been work related. Philip admits it's someone he knows. Victor hopes it's not Chloe. No it isn't - she's engaged to Daniel. Victor sarcastically replies - And she's not capable of being unfaithful to a man - what was I thinking? Philip says it's someone who makes him laugh and who is really smart and beautiful too in a unique way. Victor - Good god - it's Melanie Leyton, isn't it? He thought the public release of that sex tape would quell any lingering desire he had for her. Philip doesn't feel like talking to him about his relationships. Victor - Because I tell you what you don't want to hear? Forgive me if I don't want my son to make a fool of himself. Philip thinks that he'd think he was making a fool of himself no matter who he was involved with because he's a cynical bastard. Victor reminds Philip that Melanie tried to hit up Titan for hundreds of millions of dollars. Philip insists she has changed - he cites the fact that she risked her life to help him find Stephanie. This gives Victor another opportunity to bash both Melanie and Stephanie. The argument degenerates and Philip is about to leave after telling Victor he needs his support not his despressing perspective. Victor stops him - If he likes this Melanie Leyton - fine. Why should I approve? Sell her to me.


Maggie's house: Nathan comes home to a kitchen full of smoke. Melanie has just pulled out a smoking black heap of what used to be meatloaf. Maggie was out so she thought she'd make dinner for them. Nathan says there's no salvaging it so why don't they out. She asks if it's a date. He tells her if she wants it to be - she does. She says if it's their official first date he better make it memorable. He asks her what her idea of a perfect date is - what does she want to do. She admits that no one has ever asked her that before. They banter back and forth and then she describes her idea of a good date ... Nathan says The Cheating Heart it is. She tells him she has to go and get her schedule from the hospital - she'll meet him there in an hour.
