| Brady house: Bo is smiling as he pages through a photo album. Ciara comes flying into the house and into his arms. They've missed each other. Hope comes in - Bo welcomes her home. Bo kisses Ciara - he's very glad she's home. Ciara - Mommy said we could visit a lot. Bo looks at Hope - visit? Hope tells Ciara to go upstairs and play. Ciara asks Bo to come with her. He'll be up in a second. Once she's upstairs Hope apologises - she should have said something on the phone. Bo agrees - all she said was that they were coming home. Hope realised it was completely unfair of her to keep Ciara away from him any longer than she already had. Aside from that she knew that in order to deal with her own life, him and their marriage she needed to be here. Bo - But not in our house? Hope is sorry. She's just not ready for them to live under the same roof yet. Bo doesn't want her taking Ciara and moving - that would be a terrible thing for their family. Hope tries to argue but he tells her to let him finish. He's been sitting looking at old photos - their time together in New Orleans; their wedding in England, sailing on the Fancy Face around the world. It's like a reminder of what they've always had together. He asks if she wants to sit down and look at the album with him. No. Bo says of course not - you'd rather dwell on the bad memories; your resentment; how I defied you and put our daughter's life in danger. No, she wouldn't rather dwell on that. She doesn't need to look at a photo to remember the good times. She remembers very well but she also remembers the tough times - the issues she wishes to hell they would have dealt with right there and then but they didn't. They've come back to haunt them. Bo says that sounds like a line out of a romance novel. Hope - Don't mock me. Bo is frustrated - he tells her he is thinking about their good memories and she tells him she's focused on their bad memories - how is that supposed to make him feel? Hope was trying to get the point across that this rough patch isn't just about Ciara's kidnapping; it's an accumulation of resentments they never dealt with; never resolved. Bo - You want to dredge all that up again? Hope is going to see Ciara. Bo tells her to wait a minute. What resentments haven't they resolved? She was thinking of Patrick. Has he ever really forgiven her for that because she hasn't forgiven herself. Bo says there's nothing to forgive; he manipulated her; he was responsible for what happened - none of that has changed. Hope - What about lies you told for Chelsea? All the covering up you did for her when Zack died. Bo says they talked and talked and talked about that. Is she saying that is not resolved. She thought it was but the way he handled Ciara's ranson reopened a lot of old wounds for her about trust. Bo says - you're suggesting we reexamine all the old problems we've had and suffer again through our losses and mistakes. Hope - We buried a lot of open issues Bo.
Bo - We have not. We have pulled ourselves together and moved on. We decided or I thought we did that we would focus on the love we share - on the love we have for each other. Gather all the good things we have with each other and move on. Not dwell on the things we can not change because if we think about those it will just make us sad and depressed. What is the point of that? What good would it do us? I love you. I love you more than I've loved anyone in my life. I miss you when we're not together and I feel complete when we are together. You make me happy. You challenge me. You make me want to be a better person. You've got my heart; you always have and you always will. So what more do you want? What more is there? Hope - You have my heart. I love you. I want us to make it as much as you do. We can't ignore our problems. Bo - It's like you didn't hear a word I said. That sounds familiar to Hope. That's what she kept saying to him when the kidnappers had their daughter. She was trying to get him to listen to her but he wouldn't listen to anyone. Same exact thing now. You can't accept that I see things differently than you. You never could. You and Ciara spend some time together. We'll talk about visitation. Ciara comes down. Hope tells her to have a great time with her Dad - she'll see her in a little while - she leaves.
Omar's boat: Brian has bad news for Carly - the tides have turned. He thought she looked familiar. Carly doesn't know who he thinks she is. Brian
contacted a friend in her husband's country - a high ranking official. Alamain's inner circle insists that justice be served and he gets $100,000 dollars if he helps them achieve that. It's nothing personal. Look at it this way. You're about to be reunited with your dearly departed husband. Carly - Please don't - Rafe grabs Brian's arm (the one holding the gun) - Carly kicks Brian in the groin and gets the gun - she tells him to stay down. She asks Rafe where he got the energy to do that - he passes out. Omar tells Carly that Brian won't bother her again. Carly tells Rafe it's time for him to wake up. He does. She tells him he saved her life now she's even more motivated to save is. He asks her who she is. She'll make him a deal. She'll tell him who she is if he'll tell her who Sam is. Is it him, a friend, relative ... who? Rafe passes out. Carly checks Rafe - he's burning up with fever. They have to get him to a hospital. Omar so you keep saying but ... Carly - But since Brian told Lawrence's men where I am everything's changed. She tells Omar they can't wait - they have to get him to a hospital. Omar will tell them to crank up the speed. Rafe speaks - The baby. Carly asks him what he said. Rafe - I gotta tell her about the baby.
Waterfront - Part 1: Sami asks Brady how he got tied up in Nicole's lies. He doesn't want a lecture. She isn't going to do that - she's in no position to lecture - she's just surprised. Brady - You're surprised I'd help a friend? No, she's surprised, it's the lying that's a little un-Brady like. Brady tells her that Nicole had a miscarriage - she didn't know at first that it was over. He was the first one told that the baby was gone and he was the one that had to tell Nicole. That baby represented a lot to her; a new family, a chance to redeem herself; a chance to make something of herself and just like that it was gone. Sami - She was desperate. The whole thing is a mystery to her - how Nicole pulled it off and Brady helped her but one thing that isn't a mystery is why he did it. It's because you're still in love with Nicole, isn't it? It must have been so hard for you seeing Nicole love EJ the way that she does; seeing her self-destruct over him. Brady gets upset - why would she bring that up. He's out of here. Sami stops him - she's sorry that she presumed to say that he's still in love with Nicole ... Brady tells her she's doing it again. She's sorry - again. She was trying to be empathetic - she knows what it's like to be in love with someone that doesn't want to be with you. Brady forgives her - he
apologises - she's been having a rough time lately too. Sami tells him she feels bad for Nicole - her life is such a nightmare right now. Nicole was there for her. When EJ tried to take Johnny from her, Nicole was on her side and she'll never forget that. She wishes there was some way she could repay her.
Daniel's apt: Nicole rushes in demanding her baby. Chloe wants to know what's going on - why is she so upset? Nicole - Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse. My plan has completely backfired - it's a total disaster. She has to get out of here. She didn't see it coming - stupid bastard came out of nowhere and started threatening me. He wants to ruin my life - there's no way - I'm going to stop him. Chloe asks if she's talking about EJ. Daniel excuses himself. Nicole tells her EJ isn't the problem right now. Chloe asks who is. Nicole tells her it's complicated - she wishes she could tell her everything but she really has to go. Her phone rings - it's EJ asking her and Sydney to come home. Nicole has left - Chloe has changed so they can go out to dinner. Dan hands her a glass of wine - Chloe starts talking about Syndey. Daniel heads her off at the pass - they discussed this - one step at a time. They're not married yet - they haven't made love since she got out of the hospital. Chloe takes his wine glass and sets it down - she attacks him. Daniel tries to get her to wait but he doesn't protest too much - Chloe wants to make love right now - they practically devour each other. An insistant knocking on the door ensues - Chloe reluctantly gets up to answer it without bothering to button up - thinking it's Nicole - it's Victor. Why is he not surprised to see looking as she always does. He then tells her brassiere is showing. Daniel steps in. Victor was just trying to be helpful - he tells Chloe she looks radiant as ever. He tells Daniel he wanted to stop by - he felt so bad about what happened the other day - when he called Chloe a whore and she overheard. He tends to say what's on his mind without any concern for who might get hurt. He doesn't like that about himself. (LOL!) Chloe tells him he made up for that comment when he said he'd try to see the best in her from now on. Victor tells Daniel he's been thinking of him and how much he means to him
which reminded him of this. He pulls out a pocket watch. Daniel's father gave it to him on the day of Daniel's christening. It's one of his most prized possessions - it reminds him of the special bond between them. He points out the guardian angel etched on it - a role he hasn't been living up to lately. Dan says he's always looked out for him. Victor says not lately. He wants Dan to take the watch and look at it as a symbol of his effort to do better; to support him, to protect him and to love him. Part of that effort will go towards Chloe as well because he's decided to not only accept but embrace his godson's devotion to her. Dan takes the watch. He tells
Victor that Chloe is living with him now and will be for the rest of their lives. Daniel gets a call and steps out of the room giving Victor a chance to attack Chloe. Chloe asks why he objects to them living together when he knows they're getting married. He doesn't object per se; he just didn't react well. He said he would keep an open mind but it doesn't stop his gut feeling. You're fickle, insubstantial, disloyal by nature - you eat men up and spit them out. However he meant what he said about being a devouted godfather to Daniel. In order to do that he has to be a part of his life which now includes her. He will give her a chance for Daniel's sake and
believe it or not he hopes she proves him wrong about his assessment of her character because he just wants Daniel to be happy. If she can make that happen ... well, we'll see, won't we? He has to leave. Chloe - Maybe he will come around. On the other side of the door Victor says - That bitch is going to self-destruct and I'm going to have a front row seat.
DiMera mansion - Part 1: Chad tells EJ he's Sydney's father and he wants to see her right now. EJ asks him name. Chad Peterson Woods. EJ asks him why he thinks he's Sydney's father. His girlfriend Mia just told him - actually he had to get it out of her. They dated last year until he moved away. She was pregnant and didn't tell him. She had the baby and give her to EJ's wife. EJ tells him his wife legally adopted Sydney. Chad - That's just it. I never signed away anything. So that adoption couldn't be legal because I was never told; I never signed away my rights. EJ tells him to come in - they have a lot to talk about. Chad tells EJ he can't talk him out of this. Sydney is his biological daughter. His parents are lawyers - he knows his rights. EJ informs him that he's a lawyer too. Chad - Shouldn't you know that the adoption wasn't legal? Wait, you told me your wife adopted Sydney. Weren't you any part of it? EJ says they'll talk about details later - for now he wants Chad to tell him everything he knows. Chad will but he wants to see his baby first. (This is where EJ phones Nicole and asks her her to come home). Nicole enters with Sydney - EJ honey where are you? Sydney and I are home ... she stops dead when she sees Chad. Nicole asks EJ what that boy is doing here. EJ - You know damn well why he's here. Nicole is going to leave. Chad tells her to stop. Nicole tells him he's not touching her baby. Chad - She's not your baby. EJ tells Nicole to put Sydney down - they need to discuss things without any distractions. She puts Sydney in the playpen. EJ tells Nicole that Chad has every right to see Sydney. Chad says she's beautiful - perfect. EJ tells Chad he needs a moment alone with his wife - he asks him to wait outside. Chad asks if he can take Sydney. EJ - No. As Chad is walking out he tells EJ - seeing that little girl for the first time - I didn't know I could feel this way. EJ knows exactly what he means. After Chad enters the foyer EJ closes the doors. Nicole is upset - he tricked her. I thought we were going to talk about us. EJ - We are going to talk about us. I wanted you to come here with Sydney so that you can finally tell the truth - the whole truth. I want to hear it right now. You told me she was legally adopted - in all the anger and grief I believed that. But she's not, is she? She's not even legally yours, is she? Nicole says she doesn't have any paperwork or anything but Mia wanted her to have her baby. EJ says this isn't about Mia - a father has a say in his daughter's life. Nicole cries - EJ please, I can't lose Sydney. I can't, please ... please ... sob ... sob. Chad knocks on the door - how much longer does he have to stay out here. EJ tells him they're finished - he lets him in. Chad - So now what? EJ - You can say goodbye to Sydney and then you can leave. Chad - Now wait a minute - Sydney is my baby. EJ knows what it's like to unexpectantly discover you're a father and you have every right to see her. Chad postures - See her? I have the right to take her with me right now. EJ reminds him that he said his parents were lawyers, right? You can't just walk in here and walk out with a child. Nobody's going to give you a baby
based solely on one side of the story. I've been extremely respectful so I suggest you treat me with the same civility. Chad will go but this isn't over. Chad leaves. Nicole thanks EJ - she knew he'd do what was best for Sydney. He's going to help them, right?
Maggie's house - Part 1: Mia sees the door opening and thinks it Chad but it's Will. He knows he shouldn't be there but he really needs to talk to her. He misses her. Mia goes in his arms - she missed him too. Will wants to know what Chad did to her. Mia says actually it's what she did to Chad and to him. She lied to the both of them about her little girl - she knows where she is. She tells him Nicole helped with the delivery. It was really scary because she was alone but Nicole took care of everything. Will still can't believe Sydney is her baby. He recalls how she had all these questions about Nicole when they first met - now it makes sense. Mia had her doubts at first but she realises she is the best person to raise her little girl. Nicole can provide for her so much better than she could and definitely better than Chad. She doesn't know what Chad is going to do now that he knows the truth. It sucks because they had a deal. Will asks what kind of deal. Mia says he was supposed to stop looking for their baby. Will asks her how she got him to agree to that. She had to protect Sydney so she told Chad if he'd give up the search for their baby - she'd give up something too. Will - What did you have to give up? Mia - You. When he told his mom about the baby she only pretended to be mad. She didn't want to break up with him - she did it because of her baby. Chad said if they got back together he wouldn't look for her. She didn't want to do it - it hurt so much to let him go but she had to for Sydney's sake. Her relationship with Chad isn't real. The only person she wants to be with; the only person she wants to be with is him.
Waterfront - Part 2: Brady apologises to Victor for being late - he notices his expression and asks what's wrong. Victor rants about his godson being a bloody idiot. Brady surmises this is about Chloe. Victor - This woman almost destroyed Philip's life, your life and Lucas's life. I'll be damned if she's going to get a shot at Daniel's.
Maggie's house - Part 2: Chad barges in and demands to know what's going on. What's he doing here? Mia - Forget about Will. What I want to know is what have you done.
DiMera mansion - Part 2: EJ barks - I didn't tell you I would help you. Nicole says he has to. He can't honestly believe that idiot boy would make a better parent than her. Sami is going to knock on the door but it's ajar. She walks in. She hears Nicole saying that she's been a good mother to Sydney - she steps into the living room. EJ sees her and tells Nicole to keep her voice down (Nicole's back is to Sami). Nicole yells - Listen to me. I will die before I let that jerk take my baby. Sami - Somebody's going to take your baby?
Preview: Brady to Ari - Why are you always so anxious to get away from me? Mia to Chad - You ruined everything now Nicole's never going to be able to keep Sydney. Sami to Nicole - Nicole, don't let them take your little girl from you. |
