| Sorry - just a quick recap today as I was called in to work this morning and I have an appointment right after lunch. Great dialogue today between Bo and Carly and Victor and Hope - Stefano and Kate too!
Bo & Carly When Bo realises it's Carly he's tackled he asks her what the hell she's doing there. Bo wants to know what she's doing here in his living room looking like Agent 99. She's here because her life is in danger. He assumes this is about Lawrence's death. Was it political - are there people after her. No it wasn't political and yes there are people after her. Was it personal? Yeah. In a way it was. In what way? Carly - I'm the one who stabbed him. She had good reason. Bo - Who's going to be upset about a cold-blood murder if you had good reason. She didn't say anything about cold-blooded murder. Before she gets into it she has to ask a few questions. She looks at a picture of Hope and Ciara - why did they leave with Justin? (She asks a lot more questions). Where did they go? Bo says to Victor's place. She comments that they took a lot of stuff for just a sleepover. Bo thinks she's asking a lot of questions. She's just trying to understand his situation. Hope and his daughter are going to be at Victor's for a while, right? That's good - she's happy that they're at Victor's because the place is secure. She didn't want to come here unless Bo was alone because Lawrence's men are after her. Bo lets her know he's the Police Commissioner and harbouring criminals is frowned upon. Now would be a good time to tell him what that 'good reason' was for killing Lawrence. Carly - Self-defence.
Carly tells Bo that Lawrence got ill a month after they married. It was touch and go for a while - if he hadn't been so strong and determined he would have died. She was happy for that first month but the man that recovered wasn't her Lawrence. He did things - evil things. Bo's phone rings - it's Victor telling him to get his ass over here and beg his wife to come home. Bo says he did beg his wife to come home and secondly something has come up. Victor - You need to get over here. Bo can't. Victor would certainly like to know what's more important than his wife and child - he hangs up. Carly is going to go - Victor was right - there's nothing more important than his wife and child. Bo says his wife doesn't want anything to with him right now - besides she didn't risk her life coming here to turn around and leave. He needs her to tell him about Lawrence and what he did. She doesn't want to go into details. Whatever happened to him was degenerative. He was getting worse and the things he did were getting worse. Bo asks if he did things to her. She said she killed him in self-defence. Yes - he had to be stopped - he had to pay. She killed him and she's sorry she didn't do it sooner. Bo knows that Lawrence's men came after her - what about the authorities. She's not worried about them - she wiped down the knife. Bo says but you fled the country and that country doesn't need that much proof to arrest people and put them in jail for a very long time especially when a man is killed and his wife disappears. If he's going to help her he's going to need a hell of a lot more information - total disclosure. If she tells him everything will he help her? Bo needs her to tell him the circumstances that led to her killing her husband.
Hope, Ciara, Justin & Victor Hope, Ciara and Justin are at the Pub. Hope is trying to convince Ciara that she'd like vanilla ice cream without success. She sends her to Grandma Caroline to get some chocolate chip cookies. She knows Ciara doesn't want to move. Justin gets the impression she's not certain about the move. She can't help but think about what Bo said. What if this is a huge mistake. Bo is so unhappy with her decision to move into Victor's house. Justin says Bo is hurt and upset - he understands that. She's trying to do what is best for her and Ciara and now she's starting to doubt herself. Justin wonders if her purpose in stopping here was to run into Caroline so she can talk to her. Hope doesn't deny that. She asks Justin if he thinks she is doing the right thing. What he thinks is that it's not a permanent decision - get a good nights sleep and think things over in the morning. She wonders if she should call Bo. Justin says maybe Bo needs exactly what she needs - a little time alone.
They are at the mansion now - Ciara must be in her room. Hope looks on the bright side - at least Kate doesn't live there anymore. Hope gets back to the discussion about Bo. He thinks she's just mad but there's more to it. Look at Stefano, Kate and Dean - they all got away with it. Even if they go to jail they get out - she's still scared. Bo just wants this all to be over with but it's not - it's far from over. Victor listens. Victor and Hope are in the living room now. Justin is apparently on the phone with Adrienne. Hope thanks Victor for getting her a nanny - there was no need for one. Victor says it's nice to have one as a back-up. Hope lets it be clear that she still has her suspicions about all of this - she's not sure it's a good idea. Victor offers her some tea - she's going to head up to bed. After she heads upstairs Victor mutters 'Bo's an idiot.' Hope comes back downstairs just as Adrienne hangs up on Justin. He's just glad his children are grown ... he apologises - that was probably the most insensitive thing he could have said. Hope tells him there's no need - they both know how hard this must be on Ciara. She thinks about it all the time. Her job is to protect her daughter - do what's right for her. Justin - Even if it means going back to Bo before you're ready? If she thinks Ciara can't cope with the separation of course she'll go back to Bo - Ciara is her priority. Justin says Ciara is lucky to have her. Hope - She's lucky to have Bo too - too bad she can't have us both at the same time. Justin thinks this is the worst of it - it will get better.
Lucas, Nathan, Melanie & Melanie Lucas is on the phone with Nathan - they are talking about Nathan moving into Lucas's house. Melanie comes in and hears that Nathan is moving tonight. Melanie - Don't you think we
should talk about it. Nathan replies that he loves and respects his Grandmother. He promised her that he wouldn't fool around with her (Melanie) and there isn't a shot in hell of him keeping that promise if he stays. Melanie thinks she should be the one to move out. Nathan says that Maggie needs her here - she brings life to the house. Besides he's family so if he moves out she has to forgive him. Also it's not exactly cool for a doctor to still be living with his 'grammie'. They then search for Nathan's pen - it used to belong to his Grandfather - he used it write poetry under the pen name Norm de Plume. Nathan pouts - he doesn't want to say goodbye.
Lucas is on the phone with Maggie (she's at the Brady pub). He brings up Melanie and Nathan and Nathan's move - does she really want him to move. No, she'll miss him. Lucas - This is just off the top of my head but why don't you just butt out? Melanie and Nathan are at the pub now having ice cream sundaes and flirting and kissing when Maggie comes in. They ask her to sit with them. Maggie tells them she talked to Lucas and she thinks she was wrong to make rules for them. Nathan - It's your house. She says it's his too - she doesn't want him to think he has to move out and she doesn't want Melanie to resent her. Melanie never could - not after everything Maggie has done for her. Maggie is sorry. Nathan says his moving out isn't going to change what they have. Maggie invites him to Sunday dinner - the two of them can do the dishes. Outside the pub Melanie is worried that with all his shifts and him moving out she won't see him very much. Nathan - Do you honestly think I'm going to let that happen? He kisses her.
Hospital: EJ walks in on Stefano and Nicole and wants to know what is going on - he heard Nicole had left town. When he hears that Stefano asked Nicole to come back he's not too happy. Stefano says it appears they have to discuss the entire truth. Nicole tries to get EJ out of the room but he turns on Stefano - Nicole leaving town was the perfect solution - he was quite happy to never set eyes on her again. Stefano says that Nicole can come and go as she please but Sydney is a DiMera. She belongs in the house with her family around her. EJ states she's not a DiMera; she's not his daughter. Stefano replies that EJ made a rash and dramatic descision because he doesn't know the whole story. He asks Nicole if she is going to tell him or should he. Kate makes her entrance and greets Stefano - He's alive again. She orders EJ and Nicole out of the room. Kate complains about Nicole getting her hopes up by saying she was leaving and then dashes them. Stefano states that baby is his grandchild. Kate asks if they can just buy him another one - one without a mother attached. Kate asks why Nicole was there. Stefano lets Kate know that Nicole had no choice. Her entrance was perfect. At some point he, Elvis and Nicole have to have a talk but not quite yet. Stefano lets her know that the nurses think she is responsible for him being in the hospital because of what she did to Chloe. Kate - Don't you think I learned my lesson? If I tried to kill you, you'd be dead. Kate doesn't suppose he's going to tell her what was going on when she arrived. No - that doesn't mean he doesn't trust her. Kate - It means you're still working out your strategy. Stefano says it's been such a long time since he's felt he's had an ally. Kate is going to leave. Stefano tells her to tell Nicole that he wants to see her - he's going to go for broke and let the chips fall where they may.
EJ confronts Nicole in the waiting room. He wants her to tell him what Stefano was about to tell him when Kate came in. Nicole is concerned about his father - did Lexie say anything about a psych evaluation. She's concerned that his father didn't come out of this coma with everything he went in with. The scary thing is - he's convinced he's right - he might sound plausible. EJ says he did say something that suggested that he knew what she was up to before he got sick. Nicole scoffs - that's ludicrous. She doesn't know what he was going to say - he's not making a lot of sense. EJ asks her why she turned around from wherever she was going and came back here. Nicole says your father woke up and used his connections to drag me back here - does that make any sense? Kate comes out and tells Nicole Stefano wants to talk to her alone - and then EJ - he says it's very important. Stefano tells Nicole he's not going to do anything until tomorrow - he's going to use tonight to think things over. She is not to leave town. He went to her wedding, he doesn't want to go to her funeral. Maxine gives Stefano a sedative - EJ comes in. She tells him to make it fast - he'll be asleep in 2 minutes. EJ asks Stefano to tell him what's going on. He will tomorrow. When EJ comes out of the room Nicole has Sydney - does he want to hold her? He walks away. Nicole tells Sydney that Daddy loves her but her very own grandfather is going to ruin everything. She calls and leaves Sami a message - Sami, something is going to happen tomorrow. I need to tell you something before you hear it from someone else.
Preview: Chad to EJ - Are you going to fight me on this or back off and let me have what's rightfully mine? Nicole - Oh my gosh, she's gone to Stefano. Sami to Stefano - I have something I want to say to you. |
