A Look At Tomorrow for Thursday, Oct. 29th

Brady house - Part 1: Bo is upset to find Carly in the living room - she should be out of sight upstairs. She doesn't like the lying he's doing on her behalf - it's making things more difficult - Hope is already suspicious. Bo assures her that his problems with Hope have nothing to do with her. She's safe here so she's staying here. She caves but she has to go back to the boat - there's something she needs to take care of. She has to check on her friends, make sure they're okay and say her goodbyes. Bo will drive her there. She says she'll walk - she has her disguise. Bo makes fun of her conspicuous disguise. He tells her to go upstairs - the coffee should be ready - he'll get her some. He goes into the kitchen once she starts up the stairs. As soon as he's in the kitchen Carly grabs her disguise and leaves the house. Bo returns with the coffee and sees her disguise is gone. He grabs his gun and holster from a locked drawer and goes after her.


Omar's boat: Rafe dreams that Sami is caressing his face and then kissing him. In his dream he says you're not really here are you - she fades away. He whispers her name. Rafe comes to as Omar is tending to him. Rafe asks where they are. They're on a boat docked in a town called Salem. Carly comes in to the stateroom to check on the patient - he's gone. Bo comes up behind her - what the hell do you think you're doing? Carly says somebody needed her help. Bo asks who. She doesn't know his name - they fished him out of the river. Bo - And you're nursing him back to health. Yeah - they couldn't just dump him off at a hospital not if he has enemies out there. Bo says she could of told him - he might have gotten some answers for her. She didn't know who his enemies were so she played it safe. Bo asks where he is now. Carly - Good question. Carly introduces Bo to Omar. She wouldn't have gotten this far without him. Omar tells Bo he owes Carly his life. He feels he let her down by letting their mystery guest wander off the boat. Carly says it's not his fault - they had no idea he was in any condition to get up and leave. Bo will check with the station to see if there are any reports of a man fitting that description. In the meantime they've got to get out of here. Carly thanks Omar for everything he's done. He tells her if she needs anything she knows how to reach him. Bo tells her they've got to get back to the house.


Hospital - Part 1: EJ comes up to Lexie and asks how 'he' is. Sound asleep the last she checked. EJ tells her he said he had to see him - it's urgent. Lexie tells him it will have to wait. She wants him to get as much sleep as possible. In Stefano's room he finishes up a call and then apologises for the interruption. As he was saying he believes Sydney should be with her real mother who happens to be ... Sami doesn't care what he believes - it doesn't matter to her. Stefano tells her she might want to hear what he has to say. No, she's not interested. EJ has kicked Sydney out. She's nothing to you. Stefano - Wrong, Samantha. Sami tells him to spare her - he doesn't care about being a grandfather. All he cares about is punishing Nicole because she lied to his son. Stefano - I think would you agree with me ... Sami - I would never agree with you about anything especially if you go on and on about how Sydney should be with her real mother Nicole is her real mother. Stefano - Actually that's not quite ... Sami - It's not accurate - of course not. Mia is technically, biologically Sydney's mother. She gets that and understands that but Nicole has loved that girl since the day she was born. Stefano - You just forget about Nicole. She is irrelevant. Sami insists that Nicole is her friend and she won't let him shove her aside like this. Stefano - You better listen to me ... Sami doesn't want to listen to him. He doesn't listen to anyone because if he did he would hear Mia say that she wants Nicole to raise Sydney. Stefano - Mia is just a confused little imp who ... Sami - Who doesn't know her own mind? But you do? She's sick of him and this chauvinistic crap. He and his son are pigheaded idiots who think they know everything. He asks if she's finished. She's just getting starting ... the rant continues as Stefano looks up and rolls his eyes. Sami says there is nothing to excuse what he's doing. Stefano - I'm merely trying to ensure that Sydney is raised by her father. Sami - You don't even know Chad. You think a mother doesn't have rights. Of course not you don't have any problem ripping a child away from it's mother. Stefano gets upset - This coming from a woman who kept my son's daughter away from him. Sami did that because of him. She wanted to protect Grace from him - from being raised in a house with a criminal. Stefano - You better watch what you say or you'll regret it. Sami tells him he can't scare her - she'll say whatever she wants.
Stefano says she really is her mother's daughter. You have her fire and spunk but you have none of her class. Sami agrees that her mother is classy which is why she wanted nothing to do with him. But that didn't stop him - you retaliated by taking her away from us - keeping her from me - ruining our family's lives. Stefano - Oh - blame me for your failings. God forbid you should own up to your own stupid actions. She has taken responsibility for her actions but it all started with him. She shudders to think what will happen to Johnny even having to know him. He is teaching Giovanni what it means to be a true DiMera - an honour that she doesn't seem to appreciate. She says because it's not an honour - it's a curse. A curse she is grateful that Grace never had to be a part of. Maybe it's better for Sydney to have
nothing to do with your family. Stefano - You don't know what in the hell you're talking about. Sami tells him to look at what he's done to his other children - it's no surprise that half of them ended up dead. Stefano roars - Enough. EJ enters and asks what is going on here.

He asks Sami why she's there. She just wanted to set Stefano straight on a few key issues. EJ wants her to leave. Stefano says no wait. Before she goes there is something she needs to know. Sami is listening. Stefano pontificates - The hand that rocks the cradle may rule the world but what cradle do you rock Samantha? She asks - What the hell does that mean. He replies - You don't even know who fathered most of your children. Once you found out you just hid the truth. You denied your children the love of their real fathers and you put yourself first. Sami says he doesn't know what he's talking about - she moves towards Stefano - EJ grabs her and pushes her back. All three of them are yelling. Stefano shouts - It's only right that you go home to an empty cradle ... Sami springs - EJ grabs Sami and yells at
Stefano - Father - Enough!!! Lexie comes in and screams for them to stop. Sami storms out. Lexie asks Stefano if he's okay. She has to go and check on another patient. She tells EJ to try and keep him calm. EJ asks Stefano what has gotten into him. He's sorry - that slut gets under his skin. EJ says that's because he allows her to do it. How long have you known her and yet she does this time and time again. Stefano says - no more. Samantha means nothing to us. EJ - That's not entirely true, is it? He tells Stefano that he needs to exercise some restraint. EJ asks him why he's looking at him like that. Stefano - Between Samantha's stupid behaviour and your foolish love for her it changes everything. I nearly made a hideous, costly mistake. EJ - What are you talking about? Stefano tells him Samantha's visit has worn him out - he needs to rest. EJ reminds him that he said there was something urgent he needed to talk to him about. Stefano says it can wait ... EJ argues but caves. He leaves and Stefano calls Nicole and tells her to bring Sydney and come to the hospital immediately. Get here now. He reminds her Marco is watching her every move - don't do anything she'll regret. Nicole says why not - I have nothing left to lose. Stefano - You'd be surprised.

Stephanie comes up to Nathan with one hand hidden behind her back. First she tells him he was a hit at the Halloween party - the kids loved him. She hands him a cupcake - peace offering. He can't accept. She understands that he may be upset with her. She really didn't mean to out him and Melanie to Maxine - it just slipped out that they were dating. Nathan knows she wasn't trying to make problems that's why he can't accept her peace offering - she has nothing to apologise for. She still feels guilty. He says why - you're a good friend. Stephanie - Actually I haven't been. She has seriously doubts about he and Melanie making it as a couple. Nathan says she's entitled to her opinion. She says she's not just thinking it she's wished it. Nathan asks why would she wish that. Stephanie admits that she's jealous. The funny think is Melanie was jealous of her six months ago because she had Philip and Melanie wanted him. Now she has two great guys chasing after her. Nathan points out that she dumped Philip - if she wants him back ... She doesn't. It would have been nice if it worked out but that's never going to happen. She asks him not to tell Melanie that she said any of this. They've worked things out - she's her friend and she should be happy for her - and she will be. She just has to work on being a better person. Nathan tells her she's a great person - there's no need for improvement.


Waterfront: Nicole holds up the paper Chad gave her - What is this? A court order to have Sydney's DNA tested. Just one step closer to him getting custody of his baby. Nicole says he's so clueless. Chad tells her there's no point in fighting him on this. She agrees. She can't fight anymore - she's done. Chad asks what kind of game is she playing now. No games - in fact there's nothing left for her to do. Chad is glad she's finally facing reality. He starts talking to Sydney - she starts crying. Nicole is holding her now. Chad is sorry - he didn't mean to scare her. Nicole tells him he has to tread lightly - he's still a stranger. He pouts - that's not his fault. Nicole is tired of him playing the victim - she hands Sydney over. She's giving him a taste of his future. He takes the baby and asks - what do I do. Nicole - Be a father - what do you think. Sydney starts screaming. Nicole tells Chad not to look at her - he can't ask for her help when he has custody. Chad says she won't stop crying - just take her back. Nicole takes Sydney and comforts her. She tells Chad he's going to have to get used to this - babies cry a lot. If he takes Sydney from the only home she's known she'll cry so loud he won't be able to hear himself think. He won't have time for sports, parties, video games and most important sleep because there won't ever be a time when this child won't need you. He knows that. Nicole - Do you really? Because you're in a charge of a life now. A little human being who depends on you for her survival. Are you truly ready for that? Are you absolutely sure you want to be a full time father. Rafe slowly makes his way to the pier - he hears Nicole telling Chad that being a parent is hard work. Rafe collapses against the side of the steps. Chad gets that it won't be easy. He can handle this and so can Sydney - she'll adjust and he's sure that it won't be long before Sydney will forget she even knew you. Nicole asks if he's stupid. He doesn't know a thing about babies. He's so wrong about this it's frightening. My baby will never forget about me, do you understand me? Never! Chad demands that she give him his kid back. Nicole refuses - She's not yours. She is not your baby Chad. Rafe tries to get up. Chad demands his kid - she's mine. Nicole repeats - she is not yours. Chad
- the DNA test will prove otherwise. Nicole says whatever you say. Until then Sydney is legally mine so don't touch her. Keep your hands off my daughter. She and Sydney leave. Rafe collapses and dreams about showing up at Sami's door and Sami going into his arms. She asks if he's okay - what happened to him. He's fine - he needs to talk to her about Sydney. This is going to sound crazy but she needs to believe him. Sami of course she'll believe him. He has no idea how happy she is he's back - they kiss. Rafe gets up and slowly makes his way along the pier.


Maggie's house: Melanie responds to Philip's bombshell with "Arrogant much?" Philip - You know I'm right. She accuses him of thinking that he is more fun and interesting and altogether more fabulous than Nathan. Philip wouldn't put it that way. They're right in so many ways because the chemistry between them is amazing. We're perfect for each other. Melanie slaps him and tells him to never say something like that to her again. Philip has told her a million times he's sorry - he was a fool. Something tells Melanie that he wouldn't be saying that if Stephanie hadn't dumped him. Philip says maybe not but maybe that's the way it was supposed to work out. She throws a muffin at him. He asks her what's with the anger. She replies everytime he needed a shoulder to cry on or needed help saving Stephanie from a pyscho killer she was there. What happened when she was lonely or sad or she needed him. He was nowhere - she throws another muffin at him. Now this amazing guy comes along and he respects her and he likes her and Philip comes sniffing around again expecting to get what he wants. Philip assures he's not jerking her around. He genuinely has feelings for her. She tells him to stop telling her he has feelings for her - leave me alone. Philip knows she is upset but he feels that he obviously hit a nerve or she wouldn't be this worked up. She tells him he's messing with her head. He says he isn't - he swears. It's like he was telling his father - she understands him. She appreciates him for who he is and doesn't expect him to change. He feels the same way about her. He wouldn't be pushing this if he didn't feel sparks - she feels it too - admit it. Melanie says she's not the kind of girl that usually has two guys fighting over her. At first she was flattered but now she realises that it kind of sucks. It sucks because when faced with a decision she always makes the wrong one. She likens it to having to choose between a comfy, cozy, safe sneaker or a flashy and dangerous heel - she always chooses the heel - Philip tries to seduce her (shudder!) - but at the end of the day her feet always hurt. She pushes away from him - No. She wants to be treated right for once. She tells him to go. He leaves.


Sami's place: Sami comes home and calls out for Nicole. She picks up a picture of Grace - she misses her so much. There's a knock on the door. It's EJ - What the hell is wrong with her - upsetting his father like that. Sami - Just shoot me now. EJ - If only that were an option then I wouldn't have to look at your face again. Sami - Then what are you doing here? Rafe shows up outside Sami's door - I finally made it. EJ will tell her the reason he's here ... there's a persistent knocking on the door. Sami will get that.


Hospital - Part 2: Melanie greets Nathan and asks him when he gets off. Another hour. She can't wait that long. Ever since he moved out she never gets to see him. She wants to show him how she feels. He asks her how she feels. Slightly feverish - this requires a young male physician preferably handsome with strong hands. He loves this side of her but where's this coming from? Melanie gets him into an empty room - she kisses him. She wants to be alone with - she suggests going back to his place and celebrating.

Nicole comes into Stefano's room without Sydney - she's in the hospital daycare. She asks where Sami and EJ are. With Stefano telling them the truth she figured they'd be demanding her baby the second she walked in the door. Stefano says things didn't go as he anticipated. Nicole assumes that EJ turned on him. He won't forgive him. Look at what he's done - now neither one of them will ever see Sydney again. Stefano yells at her to shutup. It's amazing how much she and that bitch Samantha are alike. At least she knows when to keep quiet. He did not tell Elvis or Samantha about Sydney. He has decided that Sydney's true parentage should remain a secret forever. She asks what made him change his mind. Samantha's visit reminded me quite vividly that you are the lesser of two evils. He can never tell Elvis that he shares a second child with Samantha because he'd go right to her and tell her and then she would suck him right back in. He knows Nicole doesn't want
to hear this but he's afraid his son is still embroiled with that bitch. Nicole should remain Sydney's mother as well as remaining Elvis's wife. Nicole reminds him that EJ is so angry with her - he'll never take her back. Stefano will take care of it - he'll make it happen. Nicole tells him he can't. She pulls out the court order - the truth will come out the second Chad gets the DNA results. Everyone will know that he is not Sydney's father. Stefano - Nicole, when I want something, I get it. Do I not? She knows but ... He tells her to stop worrying. He'll take care of everything.


Java Cafe: Philip runs into Stephanie - she asks him how it went with Melanie - giving her the citation. Fine. He admits that when she said Nathan had moved out he kind of assumed that they had ... Stephanie - Broken up? No, they're together and they're actually quite happy. Philip - For now. Stephanie tells him they're in a committed relationship. Philip - If there's one thing I learned from us is that things change. Stephanie tells him to leave Melanie and Nathan alone. Philip can say the same about her - he's noticed how she is with Nathan. Stephanie says that she and Nathan are friends and she's also Melanie's friend - she doesn't want to see them get hurt so back off. She leaves.


Brady house - Part 2: Carly thinks she's a burden. He's dedicating all this time and energy into protecting her. Bo tells her it won't last long. She's sorry she snuck out - she was worried about her patient. Bo said her patient can turn on her - still might. Carly says no - he doesn't know who she is besides she has this feeling that he's a good guy like Bo. Carly is alone - she recalls a happy time with Lawrence and then recalls when he slapped her and she stabbed him. She breaks down and sobs. Bo comes in and watches.


Preview: Chad to Will - You and Mia lied to everyone about everything. Stefano to Nicole - No one outside of this room must ever know the real truth. Carly to Bo - I took a life. They're going to want mine in return.
