A Look At Tomorrow for Friday, Oct. 30th

Sami's place: EJ is giving Sami her final warning when a knock sounds on the door. Sami opens to the door to a very upset Mia who goes straight into her arms. Mia apologises - lately she keeps losing it. She asks EJ if he's thought any more ... He gave her his answer. Sydney isn't legally his so he's not getting involved. She tries to say something but he tells her that's his decision and the end of the discussion. He has some business to attend to ... Mia - Business? Sydney's whole life is going to be ruined and all you can think about is business? EJ leaves. Mia tells Sami that she has to do something. There has to be some way to stop Chad from taking Sydney. Sami tells her to keep in mind that Chad is legally the baby's father - he has rights. She'll figure something out - just relax. She has to make a call - her phone is in the other room. While Sami is making her call Mia gets a call from Nicole. She needs her to come to the hospital right away - she knows how to make everything right.


Arianna's apt: Rafe continues knocking - Come on. Rafe practically collapses against Ari when she finally opens the door. She helps him to the bed. She asks him what happened. This is bad - she's going to call an ambulance. Rafe says no. Yeah - she needs to call 911. Rafe says no calls. Everything depends on keeping secret ... Ari - Keeping what secret? After Rafe has some water Ari comments that he looks really beaten up - can he tell her what happened. Meredith. She hit me from behind at Sami's. I wound up in Meredith's basement. She kept me prisoner - handcuffed. Ari asks how he got away. She dumped me in the river - maybe it was someone else - wound up in the river. Ari - OMG - you got hit on the head, thrown in the river - how did you survive? He doesn't know - he remembers holding on to a tree or a log - something. Meredith ... Stefano DiMera. I think Stefano was involved in this that's why no police. Ari insists they're going to the police - Meredith almost killed him. Rafe says no police. She asks if she can tell this to Sami. No. She's sorry - she's taking him to the hospital and then they're going to the police. No. Ari will get her first aid kit and see what she can do but she's sorry - they are going to the police. There's no secret important enough to risk your life. Rafe stubbornly says no police, no Sami. Know about Sydney. Rafe wakes up. Ari asks how he's feeling. Better now thanks to ... there was a woman on the boat. She probably saved my life. Ari - This woman ... Rafe doesn't know who she was. He woke up and he felt way better or so he thought - he went up on deck and saw that they were docked in Salem so he got off. There was no on the boat - he wasn't sure if they had gone to the police. Ari still doesn't understand why he doesn't want the police involved. He needs more facts. Ari insists the police can get him the facts he needs. Rafe - Not if Stefano DiMera is involved. She thinks they should tell Sami - it's cruel not to ... Rafe tells her that Sami and Sydney are the reasons that no one can know. Ari brings Rafe some soup. She asks if he can tell her why they can't tell Sami what's going on - it's not like she's going to say anything. Rafe tells her phone is blinking - check it out. They have to make sure he wasn't followed. It's Brady. Rafe asks if they're back on. Yes - they're keeping it quiet. She'll explain later. Rafe hopes Brady knows how lucky he is to have her. She thinks he does. He really cares - she hopes he'll always feel that way. Ari asks if they can talk about Brady some other time. Why does this all have to be kept secret. Rafe tells her it has to do with Nicole and the truth about her baby. Ari tells him that everyone knows the truth about Nicole and Sydney. Rafe - What? Ari - Everyone knows the baby isn't Nicole. It's kind of public knowledge that Nicole actually bought her baby from a girl named Mia. Rafe - Mia McCormack? Yes. Nicole admitted it. EJ kicked her out of the house along with the baby ... she notices his expression. What is it? What's going on?


Brady house: Bo goes to a weeping Carly and tells her it will be okay - she'll get through this. She sobs - I killed my husband. Bo - It was in self-defence. She tells him it won't matter. Lawrence was a powerful man - there's no way she's not going to pay for what she did. Bo finishes up a call to the station. Carly says never in her wildest dreams did she see him as Commissioner. Bo - Look at it this way - who's in a better position to protect you. Short term shouldn't be that difficult - long term, we'll deal with what happened to Lawrence. Now that he knows the whole story he understands why she did what she did. Carly is so glad that he understands but the fact is not everyone is going to see it that way. They're coming for me, Bo. I took a life. They're going to want mine in return. Bo tells her no one will hurt her. He's not talking as a Police Commissioner but as a guy she's known a very long time. He hopes she feels she can trust him. She wouldn't be here otherwise. Bo says good because I'm going to protect you. He promises they'll get through this. Carly - I ended up with my back against the wall. Bo - You had no choice. Carly - I didn't. Killing Lawrence wasn't my way of getting out, freeing myself, to stop the constant cruelty - it would have been wrong. I couldn't have done it. Bo - He was going to kill. She sometimes thinks she deserves to have ended up in a marriage that failed so badly. She made so many mistakes in her life. Her marriage was over years ago but she was weak. She didn't fight; she didn't leave so there's really no one to blame but herself. Now here she is alone waiting for the hammer to fall. Bo tells her she is not alone. They'll get her through this and then she can start a new life. He repeats that no one is going to hurt her.


The Hat: Master Lawrence's ashes Ma'am - an urn is placed on a table. The urn is now placed on a side table where a lot of votive candles are lit. A stack of Carly and Lawrence pictures are sifted through. She sits and rips one picture in half and rips up the picture of Carly to shreds. She takes another picture and cuts out Carly and summons her servant. This woman, Carly Manning Alamain. I want you to find her. The camera moves up to Vivian's face - And I'll deal with her personally.


Hospital - Part 1: Nicole is having a hard time focusing. Stefano will take care of everything - why is that so hard to understand. She reminds him that Chad is having a DNA test - when he gets the results he'll know he's not the father. Stefano - And we will have won, don't you see? No one besides the two of them can know that Samantha is Sydney's mother - especially his son. He doesn't want that woman sticking her dirty claws into him any more than she already has. Nicole - once Chad takes that paternity test your whole plan will go up in smoke. Stefano says nonsense. They want him to think he's not the father that way he'll be out of the picture for good. Nicole says what about Mia. She's never been with anyone than Chad. When she finds out he's not the father she's going to know she couldn't possibly be Sydney's mother. Stefano - Exactly! It all comes down to Mia. Listen to me very carefully and do exactly what I say.

Mia arrives in the waiting room. Nicole tells her she has someone that Mia absolutely has to meet. Mia asks why - what's going on. Nicole replies that Mia's disgusting ex-boyfriend got a court order demanding a paternity test which is one step closer to getting sole custody of Sydney. Mia reminds her that she said she had a way to make everything right. Nicole - No, I can't fix anything but you can. Stefano thanks Mia for coming. He asks if something is wrong when she doesn't say anything. Nicole says Mia might feel he's angry with her for helping her lie about Sydney. Stefano says no of course not. Yes, he was a little annoyed at first but he has grown to love this child so much as if it's his own flesh and blood. Mia smiles - Really? Absolutely. Stefano says before they discuss anything he wants her to know
that Sydney will always be loved. She'll always be a part of his family. Mia - but EJ ... Stefano will handle his son. The important thing - her ex, the father of her child must never have Sydney. He can make sure that Chad never gets the chance but in order for him to do his part she must do hers. Mia asks what she has to do. Lie. Nicole tells her she's going to have to lie to everyone - Will, Chad, her friends, Sami, Maggie Horton ... Stefano says everyone. From this moment on no one outside of this room must ever know the real truth. He asks Mia if she can do it. He cautions her that if she says yes she can never turn back. Mia doesn't understand - what does lying about stuff do? Stefano says he has abilities - for instance if he wants a blood test to come back with certain results ... Nicole tells her that Mr. DiMera is the one that made sure the DNA test EJ had done came back with the results they needed. So he'll also make sure the results show that Chad is not the father. Stefano adds that if it is going to stop there she is going to have to admit to certain activities. Nicole spells it out - she'll have to say she can multiple partners. Mia says there has to be another way. Stefano tells her this isn't - she's going to have to say she slept with several different boys and you just don't know who the father is. Nicole adds that she's going to have to say she doesn't know some of their names. Mia can't do that - No - I've done enough for you Nicole. Nicole tells her she can't turn her back on Sydney. She gave birth to her - she's responsible for her. Her entire life is in your hands and if you abandon her now you will ruin her life. Is that what you want? Mia calls Chad and tells him she has to talk to him now. She has to tell him something that changes everything. She arranges to meet him on Pier 40 in 5 minutes. Stefano tells her she made a wise and excellent decision. Nicole tells her she won't regret this. Mia snaps - What do you mean I won't regret this? Of course I will but I'm doing it for Sydney because it's best for my baby. Nicole thanks her from the bottom of her heart.


Java Cafe: Brady leaves Ari a long message . . . call him when it's safe. Sami enters and asks Brady if he's seen Mia. He hasn't. Sami knows they've been getting along lately but there's something she has to say. She's really disappointed in him. He was helping Nicole all along and when she needed him the most he let her down. Nicole told her the whole story - how she went to him for help leaving the country. Brady - Is that what she said that she just asked for my help? Sami - You know she needed your money - she couldn't afford to leave the country for good. Brady - Yeah, that's what she wanted, my money. What she essentially wanted to do was kidnapping - she's not thinking straight. Sami still thinks he could have still found a way to help her - to offer to help her. He did. He's still willing to help her. He's willing to do just about anything for Nicole and she knows it. He offered to get her an attorney. He offered to get her a counsellor if they took the baby away - anything she needed. The only thing he's not going to do is turn her into a fugitive for good. He sees the expression on Sami's face - What? She tells him she had money - Nicole was desperate. Brady - Tell me that you did not help her get out of the country. Sami tells him Nicole didn't leave - she's still in Salem. Brady says that's a good thing actually because now she's going to have to accept the fact that there's no way around it - she's going to have to let go. Sami tells Brady he's right. Nicole is going to have to learn to accept the fact that she may not be able to keep Sydney - that will break her heart. Brady says it's really weird to see her so supportive of Nicole. Sami knows but Nicole was there for her when EJ wanted to take Johnny away from her and when listening to her vent about losing Rafe. She's been a really good friend. Maybe it was because she felt guilty because her life was perfect and my life was crumbling down around me. But it doesn't matter why - she's my friend and she always will be. Sami says Mia is really upset. Brady - A lot of people are. He's talking about her - he's talking about Rafe. His people haven't been able to find a trace of him or where he's gone but they're still trying. Sami is glad he's still trying for Arianna's sake because for her it's over. She still cares for him but he's made it clear that he's given up on them. Brady says maybe Rafe hasn't given up - maybe he's on his way back here right now.


Waterfront: Chad has told T all about getting Mia pregnant and her giving up the baby and that he's going to get it back. T doesn't believe him. Will comes along and confirms what Chad said. Chad brags that he's a daddy. He got his lawyer to schedule a paternity test tomorrow and then he'll get his kid and keep her away from liars. Chad is busy sending text messages. Will says so the whole school is going to get your spin on this. Chad mumbles something about liar. Will doesn't care what he says about him, he's talking about Mia. Chad says they are two of a kind - he and Mia lie to everyone about everything. For what - so you could keep me away from my kid? Will tells him he doesn't deserve to have a kid. Mia is so much better off without him in her life. Go ahead and text the whole school - show them what a sleazebag really is. At least I'll always have Mia.


DiMera mansion: EJ walks into the living room and recalls holding Sydney. He goes to the desk and makes a call. This is EJ DiMera. I want to see you right now. Troy arrives - he likes the place. He makes himself comfortable. He's glad the organization he was working for sold out to him - he could get used to a place like this. EJ doesn't say anything. Troy gets out of the easy chair. EJ thought they should get to know each other - he pours himself a drink. There's a few things they need to get straight first. They never met, he was never here, - he doesn't know who he was, he doesn't know where he lives. He works for him and only him - no one else and that includes his father. Troy says yes sir. EJ wants him to tell him about all the dealers he has working on the north side. Troy pulls out a sheet of folded paper and hands it over. EJ looks at it and tells Troy not to write these names down again. He notices Arianna Hernandez's name and asks if that is the Arianna that works at the Brady Pub. It is - she's the best. EJ is alone now. Arianna Hernandez - top dealer on the north side. He wonders if Mr. FBI has any idea. So many possibilities.


Pier 40: Mia tells Chad she heard the paternity test is tomorrow. Chad says yup and after that Sydney's with me. She tells him he has to call it off. He asks why. Because he's going to come off looking like a total idot - she doesn't think he's the father. Chad says of course he's the father. She's serious. He says she's lying - why? She's not lying - the baby's not his. When he went away and never called - she was really upset for weeks. Her cousin felt bad for her so she took her to Chicago with her. She's really into the party scene - she was in the mood. Chad asks what this has to do with anything. She tells him the parties went on for a few
weeks. Every night, different places, new guys, booze. She liked being anonymous - guys would hit on her and she'd be like - why not? Chad says no way. She's almost positive that's when she got pregnant. It couldn't have been him - when we made love it was a month too early for when Sydney was born. Chad says this is total crap. She tells him he can get mad, yell, whatever. It's not going to change anything. When you go to take that test tomorrow you're going to find out you're not the father. Chad is going to take the test. Why didn't she tell him this before? She didn't want him to tell Will she was a total slut. Chad looks up and sees Will - she can tell him herself.


Hospital - Part 2: Stefano tells Nicole to stop pacing - Mia will do fine. Nicole thinks it's terrible that this sweet, little innocent girl has to tell people that she jumps into bed with every boy she meets. Stefano says she knows how to lie just like Nicole does. She may look innocent but believe me it's in her genes. Nicole asks if this is really going to work out. Is she really going to be able to keep Sydney. Stefano - Yes. Nicole - But of course there's EJ. Stefano - I am going to tell you how to get Elvis back in your bed.


Preview: Nicole (holding Sydney) to EJ - The one and only man Sydney needs and wants in her life is you. Mia to Will (Chad is there too) - I don't know who the father is. Arianna to Rafe - Now you have to prove this; how are you going to prove Nicole switched babies?
