A Look At Tomorrow for Monday, Nov. 2nd

Hospital - Part 1: Nicole tells Stefano that EJ hates her - what is she supposed to magically do that is going to make him take her back. He suggests she go to him and tell about Mia's many lovers and that Chad is not the father. She'll do that assuming that Mia will actually tell the lie - what if she can't do it? Stefano says it doesn't matter if she does or not. The beautiful thing about gossip is that it spreads like an infection. Nicole is going to tell EJ that Mia slept around so the rumour will be out there. Because EJ is Sydney's father Chad's test results will show he's not the father so he will believe the lie - it works perfectly. Nicole - And you and I will be the only ones that know the whole truth. Kate arrives just as Nicole is leaving. Stefano is happy to see her. She asks what Nicole was doing there - what are they up to?


Pier 40 - Part 1: Will asks Mia why she called herself a slut? Chad asks Mia if she's going to tell him or not. No, she can't. Will asks what's going on. She gives him the Chicago/parties/all these nameless guys story. She really wishes she hadn't slept with those guys. She needed to tell him - when Chad takes the DNA test she doesn't know if Sydney's his baby. She doesn't know who the father is. Will doesn't believe her - she'd never do that. She's so sorry - but it's true. Chad leaves - he has to try and wrap his head around this. Mia asks Will - Please don't hate me. He doesn't. He knows she was just saying those things so Chad would stop trying to get custody. He's sorry she has to go through this - trashing herself, blowing her rep - all to keep Chad from taking Sydney. He gets it - he really does. Mia says he doesn't. What she told him was true. She's so sorry she hurt him. He doesn't believe this. What else is he going to find out was nothing but lies. How about when she said she loved him - was that a lie too? Mia tells him all the lies are done now - she swears. She wanted to tell him the truth ... Will says but you didn't and you never will. He can't believe anything she says but that's fine because he's not going to be around to hear her lies anymore. He tells her he never wants to see her again. He leaves - she cries.


Java Cafe - Part 1: Brady tries to get a hold of Arianna; Sami tries to get a hold of Mia - no success. Sami has a really bad feeling about how all this is playing out. Brady tells her to give Mia some time - she's a kid. They switch to talking about Ari and Brady. Sami is glad that things are working out for them. Sami is still worried about Mia - her ex-boyfriend is giving her a hard time about taking custody of Sydney. She must be going out of her mind. Brady asks if Mia is turning to her for help. Sami says Mia usually goes to Will first.


DiMera mansion - Part 1: EJ is on the phone - he's faxing a picture of Arianna Hernandez. Her brother Raphael is ex-FBI - he needs to know if her brother knows she's dealing drugs. EJ hears Sydney crying and goes to the foyer. He asks Nicole what she's doing there. Her answer - Giving you your life back. She wanted to bring him up to speed. She ran into Mia and she had some surprising things to say. She decided to come clean because Chad is taking a paternity test. She tells EJ the Mia is a slut lie. EJ says Mia doesn't seem like that kind of girl. Nicole - Sometimes people can fool you. EJ knows that. What's her point? She knows that when he found out Chad was claiming to be Sydney's father he wanted to step back and give Chad his rights - something Sami never did for him. Except Chad isn't Sydney's father - they'll never know who her father is. She picks up Sydney. She does have a father who loves her very much; a father she deserves. The one and only man Sydney needs and wants in her life is him. EJ walks into the living room and Nicole follows - she knows he doesn't want to turn his back on her - he's the only father she's ever known. EJ says this is not about taking Sydney back it's about taking them both back. Nicole says of course it is. She loves him and will always love him. She knows what she did was wrong. She hurt him. All she's hoping for is that he can find it in his heart to say that there's a chance for them. She knows they can be happier than they've ever been. She knows this because love doesn't just die. She knows he still cares - she knows he still loves .. they kiss. EJ agrees that he was never happier than when he had her in his life but that life is over now thanks to her lies. Nicole understands why he's angry with her and why he
doesn't want to take her back but Sydney is innocent. She loves him and that is her only sin. Chad won't be able to prove paternity - now is your chance to raise her and show her how you feel. Don't you want her in your life?


Arianna's apt: Rafe tells Arianna she just gave him the last piece of the puzzle that he needs. This is amazing. Ari is lost. He reminds her what he was doing before he dropped out of sight - he was trying to find out what Nicole's big secret was. Yeah - but while he was gone the secret did come out. Rafe doesn't think all the truth did come out. It all goes back to Dr. Baker. He talked to Baker's nurse, Sr Theresa and Sami and came up with a timeline. It's just a theory but it made a lot of sense and now that he knows that Nicole bought her baby that theory is starting to sound a hell of lot like fact. Ari asks him to share it with her. Rafe - The baby Sami carried for nine months wasn't Grace, it was Sydney. Nicole switched Sydney with Grace the night they were born. She understands that Nicole got a baby that wasn't hers but where is he getting the baby switch from. Rafe explains that Dr. Baker was an illegal baby broker - that's how she got her hands on Mia's kid. Ari - Why the switch? Rafe - She's desperate and not to mention she was always freaked out that Sami was going to do something to take EJ away from her. Ari comments that Sami was pregnant with EJ's baby while in witness protection and Nicole had a miscarriage. Rafe - Imagine if Sami told EJ the baby was his. Ari - It would be Nicole's nightmare. Rafe - She finds out that Baker is a baby broke and Nicole talks to Sr Theresa and has Sami have the baby at Baker's clinic. When Sami delivers she switches the babies. Ari says that Mia has already said Sydney is her baby, Nicole's admitted it - EJ's buying it ... Rafe says it doesn't matter what people are starting to believe, what he can prove is what matters. Ari asks him how he's going to prove Nicole switched babies. He might have to bend the rules a little but he'll get the proof he needs. He'd start with Nicole but she has that restraining order against him. Ari says Dr. Baker is dead. How is he going to prove that Mia is connected to Dr. Baker? The story she heard was Mia gave her baby directly to Nicole. Rafe thinks it's time he had a little talk with Mia. Ari says if he's dead set on no one finding out he's back in Salem until he has more proof ... Rafe - Then going to Mia is not a smart move. Ari feels she may or not tell him what he needs to know but she'll definitely go to Nicole. Rafe - And Nicole is going to do whatever she can to make sure I come up empty-handed. Ari suggests that he take a rest and think about this later. Rafe wants a shower. He asks her to go to his place and get him some clean clothes and he tells her where he has some cash stashed away - bring that too. After she leaves Rafe places a call - Listen man, I need your help. Ari returns with his stuff. He tells her that he called his friend in the FBI to get info on Meredith Hudson. Turns out when she got off the plane in Orlando she kind of lost her mind so they sent her to a psych ward. No word if or when she'll ever get out. Ari says good. After what she did to you never is too soon for her. Rafe still kind of feels bad for what happened to her sister. (Interesting look on Ari's face) Rafe is putting on his jacket - all he has to do now is get those DNA samples. Ari says it's kind of sad about Mia. If he proves that Sydney is Sami's baby someone is going to have to tell her that her baby died. Rafe says it has to be done. Ari says and soon because once Nicole finds out what he is up to she's going to blow. She already tried to leave the country once with Sydney. She'll freak out when she finds out what you're doing and leave - you may never find out the truth. She reaches into his duffel bag and pulls out a cap - he can use it to hide his face. Rafe smiles - It's obvious she hasn't studied advanced evasion and surveillance at Quantico. Wearing a hat actually makes people look at you longer than normal. He was going to wait until dark anyway. Ari - So you're going to gather the DNA and prove the match. That's his plan - easier said than done. He's definitely not saying anything to Sami until he can prove that Sydney is her baby. Ari asks - What if Sydney really is Mia's. Rafe - Then my whole theory is bogus and I've been wasting my time. But trust me that's not how this is going to play out.


Hospital - Part 2: Stefano has good news - he can go home when the paper work is done. Kate agrees that is good news but she still wants him to answer her question. Stefano tells her it's possible that Nicole might move back into the house soon - Elvis can't know about this yet. Will she welcome Nicole back into the home. She'll do it and keep his secret but he'll owe her. They kiss - Victor walks in. He was just at a board meeting so he thought he'd stop in and see how Stefano is doing. Stefano tells him he's about to be released. Victor feels that Kate must be thrilled. She is - for the first time in a long time she feels secure and loved.


Sami's place: Sami leaves Will a message. There's a knock on the door - it's Chad. What are you doing here? He's not sure. He just needs to talk to someone. Sami assumes this is about Sydney. She's been trying to reach Mia. She's really concerned. Does he know what's going on? Chad wishes he knew what to tell her or what to ask her ... Sami - It's about Sydney, right? Chad tells her that Mia just told him he might not be the father. She said that slept with random guys after he left for school and that's when she got pregnant. Sami doesn't believe that. Chad - That's what she said and she was totally confident that if he does the DNA test it will say he's not the father. He swears he never stopped thinking about her. He cries - all that time he was away she was his everything and now she says she's been with all these guys she doesn't even know who the father is. Sami - And your heart is breaking because you still love her. He nods yes. Chad wants to know if Sami thinks Mia is lying. Does she think Mia did it - she knows Mia better than he does. Sami wishes that were true. She finds if very difficult to believe that Mia is the kind of girl that ... well, that kind of girl, you know? Why would she make something like that up? Chad - So I'd give up on the DNA test. Sami - But she knows you could still have the test and that he could be the father no matter how many guys she slept with. Why would she make something like up that would ruin her reputation? Chad - Unless it were true. Sami - What if Will finds out? Chad says he already has - Mia just told him. Sami - If Mia told Will knowing how upset he'd be it's got to be true. They have to go and find Will and find Mia and find out what is going on.


Kiriakis mansion: Victor finds Brady staring at his laptop - he asks what's wrong. Nothing - it's a personal matter. Victor asks if he's stewing about why Arianna dumped him. Brady say no. He tells Victor that they're back together. Victor is very sorry to hear that. Brady asks why he'd be upset that they got back together. Victor beats around the bush for quite some time before telling him some associates of his caught Arianna in a compromising position - she's a drug dealer.


Pier 40 - Part 2: Nicole finds Mia crying. What's wrong? She told Chad all the lies - told him he's not the father. Nicole asks if he believed her. She guesses but then she had to tell Will and he broke up with her. Nicole says give him some time - he loves you - don't underestimate Will - he's solid. He'll take you back. The fairytale happy ending happens sometimes you know. You'll have yours and I'll have mine. Mia calls herself a loser. She knew when she was pregnant that she didn't deserve to have a beautiful baby that's when she gave her to Nicole. When she lied to Will she knew he'd leave but then again she knew she didn't deserve him either. Nicole says of course you deserve him. Mia - Then why did I lie to him? Just so Chad would back off and not take the paternity test? Nicole - Mia, you did the right thing. Do you understand me? You did the right thing. Sami hears what Nicole is saying.


DiMera mansion - Part 2: EJ hugs 'Fatha' when he gets home. Kate goes to the kitchen to give the staff instructions on his diet. Stefano waxes poetic about how his marriage is going to bloom - he's hoping Elvis can bring some happiness back into his life too. EJ tells him Nicole was just there. EJ tells him the Mia lie saga - Stefano feigns shock and dismay. EJ says Sydney's biological father may never be known - she wants him to accept her back into his life. Stefano - Will you? When he saw Sydney he couldn't take his eyes off her. Stefano - Why should you? You love her. Perhaps it's time to admit it. For all intents and purposes you are the father of that child. EJ - I can't do it, Fatha. I'm not taking her back.


Java Cafe - Part 2: Chad broods. Maybe Mia did really sleep with all those guys or not. I'm still going through with the test. I have to find out if Sydney is really mine.
