A Look At Tomorrow for Monday, Nov 9th

Vivian: Gus tells Vivian that he received a report that Dr. Carly Manning has been arrested. It appears she will be extradited very soon. Vivian says interesting. She's surprised how quickly the authorities zeroed in on that wretched woman. Gus - We did know she was in Salem. Vivian - Yes, but she has friends there that will protect her. Appears that she does on occasion have an enemy. Vivian talks to Lawrence's ashes - Poor dear nephew. I always knew that woman would be your downfall. She tells Gus to pack her bag. To hell with waiting and planning - we have to wipe that woman off the face of the earth. Besides, Salem is simply lovely this time of year.


Jail: Carly is in a cell - Bo tells her he's fighting the extradition Interpol is going for. Carly wonders who turned her in - who told them she was in Salem.


Kiriakis mansion - Part 1: Hope finishes her call and tells Justin they need to get to the police station.


Brady Pub - Part 1: Caroline wonders why Arianna is quitting her job at the pub. She asks Brady to try and change Arianna's mind. Brady's sorry - he can't do that. He's sure she had a good reason for quitting. Caroline asks if she's found another job. No but she's investigating opportunities. Brady says she'll be fine eventually. Caroline sees what's going on - something has happened between the two of them. Ari - no; Brady, yes. Caroline feels they have some issues to talk out so she'll go to the kitchen. She asks Arianna to reconsider. Ari thanks Brady for not saying anything. He didn't keep quiet for her sake. She's been using that poor woman - taking advantage of her kindness. She'd be horrified if she knew what Ari was doing. Ari knows she would. Brady - I can see it's killing you inside. Ari - But I quit, didn't I? Brady asks her if she's proud of herself for that - he leaves.


Pier - Part 1: Rafe finishes up his call with his friend at the bureau - Tim has informed him there's a delay in the testing. Rafe turns around and EJ is standing there - so you're back in town. Obviously. EJ - Why's that? Rafe doesn't see how it's any business of his. EJ says his son spends half his time with Samantha Brady so if Rafe is planning on his worming his way back into her life ... Rafe - No worming necessary. Sami and I worked things out. We're back together. EJ says he was just with Samantha and she didn't say anything about that. Rafe shrugs - I guess she didn't feel that she had to tell you the good news. Rafe starts walking away when EJ tells him he just had a wonderful conversation with Arianna. She didn't seem to have any idea when you were coming back. Rafe tells EJ to stay the hell away from his sister. EJ - You'd like that - if I stay away from your sister, Samantha, my son - maybe I should just leave town. It's not going to happen. He has a very strong sense of family. He and Samantha share a child - we'll always share a child and there's nothing you can do about that. Rafe - Well EJ when it comes to your child that's between you and Sami. Now when it comes to my sister you stay the hell away from her. He's not going to warn him again. Rafe leaves. EJ mutters - sorry, Raphael, she's dealing for me now.


Sami's place - Part 1: Nicole is shocked when Sami tells her Rafe is back and working on a case that will change her future, their future. They're back together - how awesome is that. Nicole snaps - 'It isn't. This can't happen.' Sami asks her what she's talking about. She knows how hard it's been for her - the way it ended between them. Nicole says it was terrible but why did he come back. Sami thinks it's obviously because he missed her and realised they were meant to be together. That's it? What else did he say about this so called case. Sami doesn't know - he said it would affect her future or her life - something like that. He's back and we're together - that's it. Nicole asks if she's sure. Did she ask him to explain? She did but he asked her not to push him. She's thrilled they're back together - why is she being so negative. She's being negative because she's trying to protect her. What does she think he's up to. Sami doesn't know and she doesn't care because she's happy, he's happy that they're together. Why is she acting like this - can't she be happy for her. Nicole - No I can't Sami. He's going to ruin everything. Sami asks what he's going to ruin. Her life - you just started to move on and now he's back and he'll hurt her all over again. Sami insists he's back because he wants to be with her. She's happy and relieved he's okay. She doesn't understand why Nicole is acting this way - she's just trying to upset her. Nicole is just trying to be real - she doesn't trust the guy and neither should Sami - not for a minute. Sami scoffs - Don't trust Rafe? This from the woman who's married to EJ DiMera. He lives a life of crime - he doesn't have a moral bone in his body. But you don't want me to trust Rafe, the ex-FBI agent because you don't get along with him. Nicole insists she tried to get along with him but he treats her like dirt - with total disrepect. Sami - So you think Rafe being back threatens you in some way? Nicole - Yes. He'll turn you against me. He'll convince you to kick Sydney and me to the curb. Sami would never do that. Nicole states that Rafe would talk her into it. Sami repeats - she would never do that. She can stay as long as she wants to. She would never kick her out and Rafe would never ask her to. She knows he's a good guy - he would never want a mother and her child to be out on the street. He's a better person than that. Nicole - You still don't know what happened to his fiancée, right? Sami can't believe she's bringing this up. Nicole says the poor woman died a horrible death and he wouldn't have an open conversation with her about it. Can she forget? Sami hasn't forgotten but she's trying to move past it. Nicole says fine but what about you - he walked out on you without even saying goodbye. Did he tell you where he went or what he was doing. Sami - No. Nicole - See that is why you need to stay away from him. You can't believe a word he says. Sami realises that there are a lot of unanswered questions but the bottom line is - she trusts Rafe. She loves him and he loves her and she's happy that he's back. Nicole can't sit here and listen to her self-destruct - she's getting away from this insanity. I really hope you take my advice otherwise a lot of lives will be destroyed. She takes Sydney and leaves. In the hallway Nicole tells Sydney if Rafe figures out the truth she's going to have to stop him. I'm not going to let him take you away from me.


Hospital - Part 1: Dan is trying to distract Chloe with talk about going to Australia but she's too anxious about her test results. As soon as the doctor comes out with the results Chloe wants to know if she can have a baby - can she get pregnant? Dr. Ryan tells her that her ovarian tissue was compromised by the chemo and radiation treatment used to treat her leukemia. Her eggs are no longer viable however there is still a 2% chance she could conceive. Chloe says that's the same as zero. Dr. Ryan tells her there are other options like donor eggs. When she's ready they can discuss it futher. The doctor leaves. Dan tries to comfort Chloe but she doesn't want him saying that they'll get through this together - that it doesn't change things - she wants to be alone. Chloe watches as a young girl comes up to Dan to tell him her leg is better - she's back playing soccer thanks to him - she loves him. Chloe comes up to him after the little girl leaves - she wants to go home.


Jail/Police Station - Part 1: Carly is alone in her cell when she imagines Lawrence grabbing her from behind - There's no way out. You're going to pay for my death. I'll make sure of it. Bo is telling the guy from Interpol that the prisoner's identity should be kept under wraps. When is she going to be extradited - the agent gets a call and steps away to take it. Justin and Hope come rushing in - Bo wants to know which one of them turned her in. Do they realise how much danger they put her in - people want her dead. Justin says they didn't turn her in. Bo - Someone did. Hope says obviously someone knew she was in Salem. Bo - Yeah, so you're saying it's just a coincidence that the Feds turned up at my door one hour after you found out she was in town. That's exactly what she's saying. Bo - And it's another coincidence that you show up here knowing that she's arrested. Hope informs him that Bennett called her and told her he was there with a woman and Interpol was involved. She asks if he thinks they're lying or is it just her he doesn't believe. Justin and Hope listen as Bo tells the Interpol guy that as soon as Carly shows up in that country she's dead - she'll be dead before she goes to trial. The guy tells Bo he's made that clear and he'll repeat what he said - he'll let him know as soon as he gets the extradition order. He leaves and Justin says he's going to see Carly. Bo stops him - Carly needs a lawyer she can trust. Justin tells him to stop being a jackass in all this - stop playing saviour with Carly's life and let her start making decisions for herself. After Justin goes Hope tells Bo that she promised to give him 24 hrs before she did anything - she gave her word. Does he still think she turned her in? Bo replies that she's done a lot of stuff lately he never thought she would. Hope - My God, what's happening to us? Bo - You tell me. You seem to have all the answers these days. Hope - This isn't about Carly at all, it's about you and me. Bo - You got that
right. You and me and Carly is just collateral damage. Justin tells Carly he wants to help her but he can only do that if she tells him the truth. This time don't leave anything out. Carly wants to know who told him she was arrested. Hope - she didn't rat her out and neither did he. She doesn't know Hope but she knows him - he's not the type of guy that would betray a friend. Justin says he is her friend which is why she needs to tell him the whole story behind Lawrence's death. He needs to know what he's up against. She asks why - is it because he's going to defend her or because Bo knows and he doesn't. In the squad room Hope says you're concerned our problems will impact Carly's situation. Bo says she's been making decisions and moving on with her life without him for a while now. And it's tearing him apart but at least it's only affected him or rather him and their daughter. Now her decisions are affecting a woman who ... Hope - You care about a lot. Bo states that Carly is a good woman and he doesn't like that their problems could essentially sign her death warrant. Hope - How many times do I have to tell that I did not have anything to do with Carly's arrest. The Interpol agent shows up - they've got the extradition order - they're going to move her immediately.


DiMera mansion - Part 1: Nicole comes rushing in - thank God Stefano is here. He asks her if she's mad - what if Elvis walks in. She checked with Mary - she knows he's not home. Stefano thought he told her not to push it. What he said doesn't matter anymore - doesn't he see? Everything is falling apart. He asks her what she's talking about. Rafe Hernandez is back in town and he's going to blow up my life.


Sami's place - Part 2: Sami answers the door to Rafe - he's back. He promised her he'd be back. She asks if he solved the case yet. No, slight delay. Sami - Oh but it's still going the way you want it to? Yes it is. He figured if he had to wait he might as well wait at his favourite place with his favourite person. They kiss. Sami finds this whole secret agent thing pretty sexy. Kiss. She tells him EJ was here earlier - she never said anything - she was totally discreet. Rafe says despite her discretion EJ knows he's in town. He ran into him on the pier. Sami asks if that's going to be a problem. He hopes not. Sami imagines EJ was thrilled to see him. Oh yeah - especially when he told him they were back together. Sami - You loved rubbing his face in it, didn't you? Rafe admits he did a little bit. He'd still prefer EJ didn't know he was in town. Sami - Yeah me too because he could make trouble for you. Some people on the other hand can be trusted - some people know how to get their mouths shut - they know how to keep a secret. He asks her what she's talking about. She sort of opened her big mouth. She was so excited he was back she couldn't keep it to herself. She only told one person - how was she supposed to know she was going to react that way. Rafe thinks it's time she told him who the hell she told. Nicole. Rafe's expression is priceless - LOL! He asked her not to do one thing - just one thing and she went ahead and did it anyway. She's sorry. Rafe - You have no idea what you've done. You could have sabotaged the whole thing. Sami didn't. She told Nicole not to say anything and she won't - she's her
friend. Rafe - She is not your friend Sami. In fact that is the last thing Nicole is and she's the last person that should know that I'm in town. Sami - EJ knows and you're not getting all worked up about that. Rafe - That is different because he's not involved in this; he's not a part of this. Sami - EJ's not a part of what? Rafe - I wanted to wait until I was 100% sure but now I'm just going to tell you. Sami - Tell me what? Rafe - The truth. You don't have to be in the dark any longer because I'm going to tell you everything.


Brady Pub - Part 2: EJ comes into the pub and asks where Arianna is. Caroline informs him she quit - she's packing as we speak.


Arianna's room: Arianna is packing. She picks up her phone and leaves Rafe a message. She wants to let him know she's moving out of the pub - she'll explain that later. She was wondering what was going on with those DNA tests - let her know. EJ is standing in the open doorway and he hears everything she says. He slinks away. Ari recalls the night Brady snuck into her room through her window. Ari is thinking - That's it. She grabs her purse and jacket and rushes out.


Kiriakis mansion - Part 2: Victor tells Brady he was worried about him. Where did he run off last night? Brady doesn't want to talk about it. That doesn't stop Victor even though Brady tells him repeatedly he doesn't walk to talk about it. So he did go to see Arianna - what did she have to say for herself. Did she admit she was a drug dealer. He takes Brady's silence as a yes. Better to find out now than when he's more involved with her. Victor is going to call Bo and have Arianna arrested immediately. Brady stops him - they're not having her arrested - they have no proof. Victor - Since when is that a problem? I'll make a few phone calls. Brady says they are not framing her. Victor - How can your frame someone for something they've actually done. Brady says there has to be another way to handle this. He's going to stop her from dealing. Victor tells him that you don't stop people from dealing. You of all people cutting this low-life a break after all the blood and sweat you put into getting your life back on track. Brady still cares about her. He doesn't want to see her get hurt. He wants to help her. Victor doesn't want to see him get hurt. He picks up the phone - he's not going to let that woman take advantage of him. Brady yells at him to put the phone down. He's going to take care of this himself. If he interferes in any way Brady swears he will never forgive him. Victor calls him a damn fool. He can attack him all he wants but it doesn't change what that woman has done or who she is. Victor leaves. Brady answers a knock on the door. It's Ari. She tried to walk away from him but she can't - not the way she feels about him - I'm in love with you. Brady asks if that's true is she willing to stop dealing drugs. Will she go to the police and tell them everything she knows. Ari - You don't understand. He does - there's nothing to talk about. He starts shutting the door but she pushes her way inside - Yes there is. Ari - What if I told you I had a really good reason for what I've done and what if I tell you that reason right now.


Daniel's apt: Daniel finds Chloe in bed at 11 am. She figured since he doesn't have to be at work for a few hours they could take a nap or lie down or whatever. Whatever sounds interesting to him - he crawls into bed with her. Chloe wants him to know she's really proud of the work he does and the way he touches people's lives. He's proud of her too. After all she's been through she's incredibly brave. Choe didn't feel brave earlier when Dr. Ryan said she couldn't get pregnant. Now that she's had some time to digest the news and think about it she realises it's not about having kids. It's about loving him and sharing her life with him and like the doctor said there are options. But she's not thinking about that now. What's important is the two of them being together. As long as they have each other everything is going to be alright. Daniel - Always.


DiMera mansion - Part 2: Nicole tells Stefano that Rafe told Sami this case he's working on is going to change her life forever so he must be talking about Sydney - he must have figured things out. Stefano tells her to calm down. Stop jumping to conclusions. Nicole asks - what else could he be talking about. Before he left he was hounding her about Grace, asking questions at the convent. Stefano says so what. Even if he suspects something doesn't mean he can prove it. They hear the door open - Stefano rushes Nicole and Sydney out onto the patio. EJ comes into the living room. He tells Stefano he ran into Rafe Hernandez - he had some rather disturbing news. Nicole listens. Disconcerting - he's back together with Samantha. Stefano asks if Rafe told him where he's been all this time and what he's been up to. EJ - Sure he showed me photographs and souvenirs. Stefano - So he told you nothing. EJ - It's not like we're friends. Stefano says I don't suppose it's actually our concern. EJ says there is something else. He heard Rafe's sister on the phone - she was talking about Rafe getting some DNA tests done. What do you think that could mean? Stefano shrugs - he probably impregnated some young girl and he's trying to wiggle his way out of it. EJ says that's possible - he has some work to do - he heads to the study. Stefano lets Nicole and Sydney back inside. Nicole - See I told you. Rafe knows about the baby switch. He probably has proof. Stefano tells her she's probably right. He can not allow the truth to come out. He has to keep Elvis away from Samantha and Sydney. Nicole asks him what he's going to do. Stefano - I don't have any choice. Hernandez is a problem that has to be taken care of quickly and firmly.


Jail/Police Station - Part 2: Bo tells the guy that this is a mistake. If she goes back to her country you know she'll be killed. The guy tells him it's out of their hands - wheels are in motion. He heads to the cells. Hope asks Bo what she can do to help. Bo - You can find the person that turned Carly in. Victor walks in - That would be me. Justin asks Carly if she really thinks he's that petty. He's trying to help her get out of here. Carly tells him to just do it and stop interrogating her. The Interpol agent tells Carly she's got a one-way ticket home and her flight is about ready to leave.
