A Look At Tomorrow for Tuesday, Feb. 9th

Brady Pub - Part 1: Philip is on his cell thanking Lucas for his bachelor party when Kate approaches him asking him why he hasn't called - didn't he get her messages. He was busy. She wants to warn him ... Philip cuts in - is this about sharing the spotlight with Vivian. Kate just wants him to be happy. Philip will see her tonight. She stops him. Kate knows he thinks she is the one causing trouble but she really believes Vivian is going to try and ruin everything. Philip turns away. Kate stops him. She knows he's lost trust in her but he has to trust her on this one thing. Vivian is plotting something. Kate doesn't know what but she does know he has to keep her away from the wedding. Philip thinks this is a pattern with her - as soon as something is going right for someone she has to make trouble. Kate insists she isn't stirring up trouble. When Vivian first came to town she did think she was picking up the sick competition with her to steal Philip away but she knows there is something else - she can feel it. Kate points out that Phil knows how obsessed Vivian is with Melanie. That doesn't concern you? Philip says Vivian may have done questionable things in the past but she's changed. She's not going to destroy people. She's happy. See you at the wedding. He leaves - Kate follows.

Bo tells Pete he slipped on some ice outside the door - offers to put salt on it. Pete will take care of it and bring him his coffee. Bo checks his phone and wonders where Carly is - he decides to go and look for her.


Kiriakis mansion - Part 1: Vivian brings in a breakfast tray for Melanie and wakes her up. Viv asks her how she slept. Awful. Viv tells her she'll have to take a nap later so she's fresh for the wedding. Mel can't marry Philip - it's just not right. Viv tells her she's just having pre-wedding jitters. It's perfectly normal. Mel isn't having any jitters. She's going to talk to Philip. Viv says that won't happen until she says I do. You're not going to humiliate me or my son by backing out of this marriage. She switches gears - she's brought her one of her two wedding presents. She pulls out her mother's necklace and puts it on Melanie - she always dreamed of having a daughter or daughter-in-law to wear it. Viv gets emotional - such a lovely woman, so full of life, so beautiful ... Mel asks why she's so sad. She isn't - she's happy - full of joy. You and Philip are going to get married and the bells will chime. Mel appreciates her giving her the necklace but ... Viv doesn't want to hear it. She is not going to break this committment to Philip ever. Melanie asks her why she is being so mean and treating her like she's a bad person. Viv - You're not a bad person. You're just foolish, weak and fickle. Mel argues that she is not a weak person - she's strong. She's young and makes stupid decisions sometimes. Viv reminds her that the decision she made was to marry Philip - they talked about that last night. Mel snaps - nothing has changed. She told her how she felt and she turned around and told her she had no right to feel that way - how is that being helpful? Then she plied her with alcohol and forced her to stay here. Viv denies that - she was slurring her words - she couldn't let her drive. Mel is going to walk out but Viv stops her. She's not going anywhere until she gets rid of that nagging doubt of hers. Mel can't. Viv will help her. She's going to marry Philip even if it kills her. Viv got it - Mel's in love with someone else. Mel hears someone pounding on the door downstairs - is anyone going to get that. Mel admits there is another man. She's not proud of her fickleness. Viv says so you accept my son's proposal, wear his ring and all the time you're pining after some arrogant, humourless doctor - a Horton, no less. Mel asks her how she knew.

Carly slips as she comes up to the front door. She recalls her conversation with Kate. Vivian knows - all bets are off. Melanie has to hear the truth from me. She pounds on the door. Carly keeps pounding and yelling for someone to open the door - she needs to speak to Carly. She slips and falls backwards. Vic comes downstairs and wonders where his paper is. He opens the front door and sees Carly lying unconscious on the front entrance. He steps over Carly, picks up the newspaper and goes back inside. Henderson tells him his breakfast is ready. Victor tells him he went out to get the newspaper - there seems to be an accumulation of trash by the front door. Henderson will have the housekeeper clean it up immediately. Victor is afraid she's going to need more than a broom and a dustpan. In fact you best call an ambulance.


Java Cafe: Daniel shows a kid a few tricks on how to get past Level 2 on a computer game - Brady watches. Brady tells Daniel his kids will be lucky because he'll be able to pass down all that Jedi computer knowledge to them. Daniel grimaces. Brady asks if he said the wrong thing again. He did - it's not going to happen so just drop it. Brady apologises. Dan says he shouldn't have snapped. He'll explain - because Chloe was treated with such a high dosage of chemo when she had leukemia there was damage to her ovaries. It's unlikely she'll be able to get pregnant. There's other options but he hasn't discussed them with Chloe yet. It's tough for her right now - he doesn't want to put any pressure on her.


Waterfront - Part 1: Chloe pulls out an EPT and tells herself to go and take the damn test already. Chloe is startled when Ari greets her and drops the EPT. Ari picks it and gives it back to her. Does she think she could be pregnant. Chloe stares. Ari - Is that not a good thing? If it turns out to be true it's a good thing. Ari apologises - she knows this is extremely personal - Chloe didn't need her to see this. She hopes it's positive if they want to have this baby. Chloe turns away. Ari - you just said this would be a good thing. Chloe says even if she is pregnant things could go wrong so she can't tell Daniel. No matter what the results are he can't know. Ari - So even if it's positive you're not going to tell Daniel. Chloe says because of the chemo she had any pregnancy she might have might not last and maybe it would be difficult to carry to term. Ari is hearing 'maybe'. Chloe says she read it on a medical site on the internet - she knows they're not accurate but she can't give Daniel false hope. She just can't.


Police station - Part 1: Hope comes in and asks Officer Dylan if Commissioner Brady is around. No, he's out on a case. When is she coming back to work - they miss her. Abe walks in - that's what he's wondering too. He tells her they need her. He decided she made a good point when they talked. Just because she's living at Victor's doesn't mean he's going to undermine her integrity - no one can do that. Hope thanks him and gives him a hug. She'd like to get back to work - in fact she'd like to start soon, immediately. She needs to get back to work. She needs the structure, the routine. She thinks a sense of normalcy in her life will be helpful to Ciara. She says it's rough but they'll get through it. Abe asks if there is any chance of her and Bo and working this out. Hope says there is no working it out. Bo made his choice for both of us. He's with Carly now. Abe knows Bo is seeing Carly now. Hope - Seeing her? He's living with her Abe. They're in love. They haven't actually told her that but she has to assume since Carly has moved into her house and into her bed that it's more than a little crush. Abe knows this is painful for her and Bo but the person he feels the most sorry for is Ciara. Hope states that Ciara is her priority - don't ever think differently. Abe doesn't know what to think. Hope asks him what he's accusing her of. Abe says she may hate him for saying this but because she and Bo can't work out whatever the hell it is that little girl's world is turned upside down. For what? He's saying this as her friend because he loves her and he loves Bo. Think of your daughter - work on your marriage. Bo made a choice? Then damn it - get him to unmake it. Fight for him - don't give up. Do it for Ciara. Hope asks him not to lecture her. Abe says when he and Lexie were having their problems they affected Theo profoundly. He only began to thrive when they worked it out and there was peace in the family. Officer Dylan brings in an envelope for Abe. He gives Hope her gun and shield and welcomes her back to the force.


Hospital - Part 1: Bo asks Lexie if Carly is here - did she start her shift yet? Lexie says she is here but not to start her shift - she's a patient. According to the EMT's she fell and hit her head on the ice - it's not serious. Lexie takes him to her room. Bo asks Carly how she fell. She replies - you tell me. She recalls sending him a lot of texts. He sent some back but she must have turned off her phone. She did because she had to do it - she couldn't let anything stop her. Bo - from what? Her daughter. She has to know now. Bo reminds her they talked about this and agreed she can't tell Melanie just yet. She asks if she mentioned Melanie in her texts. No, she said it was important. Carly says it must have been about her. Why can't she remember? Carly whines - Bo tells her not to pressure herself. He gets a call he has to take. Carly falls asleep - Bo leaves.


Kiriakis mansion - Part 2: Philip shuts the door behind him. Kate pounds on the door - Philip yells at her to go home. She's not leaving so he lets her in. Philip wants her at his wedding but if she keeps making up these wild conspiracy theories ... She's not - Vivian is planning something. Philip thinks Kate is the one planning to ruin his day with this paranoid crap - he's not going to let her. If she thinks she is going to do anything more than stand there and pretend to be happy think again. If she starts stirring up trouble he'll have her thrown out. He's had it with her - he walks away. Victor enters the foyer - he seconds the motion. He warned her - he calls Henderson ands asks him to escort Mrs. DiMera to her car and not let her back in until the wedding. Kate will leave on her own. Outside she says she won't give up. She'll make someone see the light - she thinks she knows just the person.

Mel asks her again how she knew - did Philip tell her? Viv says no - does he know she cheated on him. She didn't cheat on him. She and Nathan didn't act on their feelings but it's like when they broke up something didn't take. She asks Viv if she really loves Philip why would she want him to be with someone who isn't completely sure of their feelings. Viv tells her she should have thought of this before she made all the wedding plans - it's a little too late. She's going to have to marry Philip and it will just be heavenly ... or maybe not. Mel gets upset. Viv is telling her she will marry Philip and she will be excited to do this and it will be heavenly or maybe not. It's not having the desired effect - she's freaking her out. When she tells her she can't have the feelings she's having it's not helpful. You're be bossy and scary and I want to go home. I want to call Maggie and Max. I want to talk to them and have them tell me how they're feeling - and they're going to understand that I can't do this. Philip walks in - Can't do what? What are you two talking about. Vivian leaves them alone but eavesdrops outside the door. Gus comes along and tells her that Dr. Manning was found unconscious outside the front door. An ambulance was called and she was taken to the hospital. Viv tells him he has to find out what happened. They can't have any hiccups - the plan has to go perfectly. She needs him to get her something. Inside the bedroom Philip asks Melanie what she meant. If this has something to do with marrying him he needs to know. Mel says sometimes she feels she doesn't deserve him. That's why she was telling Vivian she couldn't do this because she doesn't feel worthy of him. Philip - You expect me to believe that?


Waterfront - Part 2: Daniel sees Lucas - he knows he's probably the last person Lucas wants to see or talk to. He's up there. But Dan needs to ask him a favour. Lucas - are you kidding me? Daniel is going to leave but Lucas stops - if it's for Chloe, he'll do it for her. Dan says the favour has to do with Chloe and Allie. Chloe really misses Allie - he was wondering if Lucas would let Allie spend some time with Chloe. Lucas - How is it healthy for my daughter to spend some time with someone who used to be her step-mother? Allie is having a hard enough time getting used to the fact that Chloe is not around - why would I open that wound again? Dan is sorry he sees things that way. Lucas has an idea. Why doesn't Daniel give Chloe a child of her own that way she won't be pining after his kid.


Brady Pub - Part 2: Brady greets Ari with a kiss. Can she take a break for a couple of minutes? He brought her something - he holds out a ring box. Ari opens it - it's a bracelet - it's beautiful. Brady tells her it was his mothers. She thanks him - she's really touched. Brady feels stupid right now because he packed that in a ring box - he saw her eyes when he handed it to her. Ari tells him no worries - she loves this. The fact that it was his mother's ... Brady says he didn't know her that well - he has pictures and memories of her - not vivid ones but he feels like he knows her in a way. She would have been proud of him for choosing and loving her. Ari thanks him - they kiss.


Daniel & Chloe's apt: Chloe sits on the bed and dumps out the bag - she has a least 4 EPT's.


Police station - Part 2: Kate comes in and asks if Bo is around. Hope says no - can she help? Kate isn't sure - it's not exactly police business. Hope asks - shouldn't you be getting ready for Philip's wedding? Yes but she's worried about Philip and Melanie. Vivian has become absolutely obsessed with Melanie. And then there is this gift that she was going to give Melanie; I took it from Victor's house because I felt so strangely about it. And then sure enough when Vivian saw Melanie about to open it she went absolutely insane. And then on top of that - the most alarming thing - she saw Vivian talking to some man and they were discussing Melanie. She couldn't hear what they were saying but she did hear her tone. She knows that tone - Vivian is up to something. Hope asks if she thinks Viv would do something to hurt Melanie. Kate - That's why I'm here. I don't think it, I know it. You need to tell Bo or you need to tell someone who will listen. Vivian needs to be stopped. Hope asks if she has spoken to Victor and Philip about this. Yes - they're not listening to her. They think she's causing trouble. Vivian has sucked them both in to believing that she has changed and is just happy to be part of a family. Hope - And you think otherwise? Kate - No, I don't think it. I know it. Please, I really do need your help before a catastrophe happens. Philip loves Melanie - if anything should happen to her ... Hope will look into this right away. Kate thanks her.


Hospital - Part 2: Daniel checks in on Carly - he tells her he's going to run some further tests. Carly - Outpatient? He says no, she's staying overnight. She says she can't. Dan says she knows head injuries are a serious thing - she will stay - she needs her rest. Carly wishes she could remember what happened. Where did the EMT's pick her up. Victor's. She wonders what she was doing there.


Kiriakis mansion - Part 3: Gus returns with the gift box - Viv tells him to go and find out about Carly. Viv has her fantasy about the dying Melanie AGAIN. Mel asks Philip why he doesn't believe her. It's not like he doesn't know how insecure she is. He tells her she shouldn't be anymore - the insecurities should go away when someone is told again and again how beautiful they are, how sexy, how loved they are. He kisses her. He asks if she feels better, more secure? She does. Philip will see her at the altar then - he opens the door - Viv is out there. Philip tells her they worked everything out. Viv goes inside. Mel tells her Philip was very sweet - made her feel very loved. Viv tells her to embrace that - live every day like it's her last. So you are going to marry Philip? Yes - he really loves her for who she is - that's so important. Viv says now that she's come to her senses she can open her very special wedding gift. Mel starts opening it.
