The new Soap Opera Digest features a story about Lexie's death, which airs on June 20. Lexie and Abe spend the afternoon together in their garden and reminisce about their life together, and then she dies in his arms.
Digest also relates that after Lexie's death, her spirit appears to Theo. Renee Jones describes some very emotional scenes which constitute Lexie's last message to Theo.
Abe promised Lexie he will get along with EJ, and both try to honor that after her death. Friends and relatives come to comfort Abe, but Roman is missing because of the investigation. Abe also mentions to John and Marlena privately that the tunnel gases may have been the cause of what happened...
What is to come for Abe? Reynolds relates that Abe, Theo and Cameron develop a bond, and that Abe's role as a single father of a special needs child will be explored.
