*NOTE** I had a song all picked out for this scene I had wanted to do. And it was a song that Am had introduced me too. But once I heard this song after so long, I had realized that this was just as heartbreaking as the one Am had sent me. But no matter what, Am, your still my buddy. And I thank you for introducing me to some tunes that will be a classic forever in my life.

She stood there as the puddles of rain fell. She couldn’t look at anyone but the coffin that was in front of her. Her heart ached so much for the man she had lost.
Jennifer heard her family and friends trying to comfort her, but no matter how hard they tried they couldn’t bring him back. She held onto his memories.
His face haunted her mind. His comical antics haunted her heart. Holding her hand up to her heart she remembered their adventures, she remembered they nights spent into each others arms.

The second hand unwinds
It was hard for her to recall a time she didn’t love him. Sure there were obstacles, but at the end they were together. Now she stood next to his casket.
Time had passed and still she couldn’t move. The family and friends had left her standing there as the rain still fell. It didn’t matter anymore. She could stand out here forever.

As she stood there, she heard his voice. She heard him trying to soothe her. Recalling all the moments he had been there for her in the years, she felt a little bit of hope.
No matter how hard she fell, he would be there to pick her up. It happened time after time. But now she would have to pick herself up. Yet as she looked up to the skies she could see a bit of the clouds drifting away. The sun was trying to force it’s way through the dark skies.
As she stood there trying to face her fears, she looked up into the heavens and heard his voice. She felt him. Trying to force a smiled across her face remembering that he had promised her forever and even more children, she couldn’t help but feel the pain. Yet she knew he would want her to move forward. He would be watching over her time after time.

He watched her. He tried to soothe her. And with a child he would make that happen. She had not known yet, but she would be carrying another part of him forever. Another part of him and not only in her heart.
It was just eight short months later that she stood there over his grave. She looked down at their son in her arms and their daughter beside her. She knew that the man she left behind, the man she had lost, would be forever in her heart and forever held in their children.
She held their baby boy in her arms and introduced father to son. She would watch her son grow up and tell him the stories of his father’s adventures. She would tell her boy that the man they loved died a hero. She would tell their son that she had given him his father’s name because no matter what his father had done in the past, he was a great man. A loving man who would watch over them. A man that cherished his wife and children. And he would be forever in their hearts. Time after time, he would be forever with them.
