Prologue

Two-Weeks-Earlier

Mickey: Belle Shawn I'm glad the two of you could met me on short notice said Mickey Horton as he closed his office door and walked behind his desk. I was stunned to walked into my office and my secretary hand me this file he said as he removed the file from his desk and as he stared at the young couple he couldn't but ask " Is this what you really want?"

Shawn: "Yes"

Belle: "Yes"

Mickey: Had noted the young couple saying yes in union so he said very well then. He quickly took out his legal pad and wrote something down at which time he looked up at the young couple and said this should be a very simple divorce he stated as he said you have no children and you dont own anything as I understand it you are still living with Victor Kirakis?

Shawn: Until I graduate next fall

Mickey: I see. Well that leaves the matter of alimony

Shawn: I'm sorry uncle Mickey did I hear you right? Please tell me Isabella isn't asking for alimony?

Mickey: Why yes Shawn Dougles she is said his uncle. Mickey Horton couldn't believe it either after reading the document this morning. He was sure Belle's father had a hand in this.

Shawn: You've got to be kidding me Isabella Shawn said as he turned angry eyes on her and said "cause you are not getting a dime out of me" as he got up and walked out the door.

Sami: Hold your horse already sighed Samantha Brady as she answered the door and got the shock of her life "Belle" what are you doing here?

Belle: Nice to see you to Sami sighed Isabella Black as she came through the front door carrying some of her bags.

Sami:"What are these bags for?" asked Sami as she watched her little sister carry her two bags over to the steps and sat them down

Belle: Mom and Dad didn't tell you? questioned Belle

Sami: Tell me what?

Belle: I've left Shawn and I'm moving back in



Chapter 1

Sami: But I thought you loved Shawn? asked Sami

Belle: I still do and I'm sure I always will said Belle as she sat on the bottom step of the stairs and whispered we've grown apart this past year and we want different things in life

Sami: That's what married life is all about baby sister said Sami Brady as she sat beside her sister on the steps and said you didn't expect the two of you to stay the same year after year did you?

Belle: Of course not Sami but we were always fighting over money and he would always refused help from my dad when he would offer to help us.

Sami: Well what do you expect marrying someone you only knew what?....4 weeks! Isabella

Belle: You are the one who told me that that marrying Shawn would make my father stop treating me like a baby and then after I did that you both stopped talking to me for half a year

Sami: John had ordered both Mom and me not to talked with you until you came to your senses Samantha swore. I had no idea John would get that upset as she flashback to that night

One-Year-Earlier

Marlena: John you've got to settle down said his wife Dr. Marlena Evans-Black as they came through the front door. Doc "how on earth did we let this happen?" our young 18-year-old daughter is married

Sami: whose married? asked Sami as she came down the stairs and heard her mother and stepfather fighting

John: Samantha did you know about Isabella's plans to marry that...that guy

Marlena: His name is Shawn...dear she whispered

Sami: Belle married Shawn?

John: did you know anything about this?

Sami: No...I mean I knew she had a crush on him but I didn't know it was bad enough for her to marry him

John: From this moment on I forbid either one of you to talked with Isabella as he walked over and poured himself a drink

Marlena: John you cant mean that said a shocked Marlena

John: If Isabella wants to be treated like a married woman well it shall be done as he sipped his drink

John: Welcome home my darling Isabella said John Black as he stood at the top of the stairs

Belle: "Daddy how are you feeling?" asked Belle as she helped her father sit on the sofa. She noted how pale and weak he seemed she wondered if his doctor's knew what was making him so ill

Sami: John its time for your medicine said Sami as she opened a bottle of pills and handed him a couple along with a glass of water

Belle: What are those?

Sami: Just something to help him relax said Sami as she placed the bottle in her pocket



Chapter 2

Belle: What does Mom say about all of this? asked Belle after she sat the tray of untouched food on the counter as she faced her sister.

Sami:Mom has flayed in every doctor she can think of to help figure out what is wrong with John. But so far neither doctor she has brought in can figure out what is wrong with him.

Belle: Just how long has he been like this? She asked as she stared at him through the doorway of the kitchen sleeping peaceful on the sofa.

Sami: It all started about a month after you married Shawn whispered Sami as she threw the untouched food in the trash and walked out of the kitchen.

Belle: Are you saying Daddy is sick because of me Sami?

Sami: No of course not. I wouldn't dare speak unkindly to John's IzzyB. But think about this Isabella while you were off enjoying your so kind marriage me and Mom were stuck here dealing with a very ill John Black who we didn't know was going to live or die from day to day. And with that Samantha Gene Brady walked up the stairs.

Belle: Belle slowly walked into the livingroom and as she wrapped a blanket around her father's shoulders she said a silent prayer "Please god dont let my father die" as she bent down and gently kissed his forehead.



Chapter 3



The Next Morning

Sami: "What's going on here?" asked Samantha Gene Brady the next morning when she came down the stairs and found John sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast

Belle: "Morning to you too!" smiled Belle as she turned away from the stove and placed two more pancakes on top of John's plate. "Would you like some?" Belle asked as she filled her own plate with pancakes

Sami: I'll just have some juice said Sami as she poured herself a glass of juice and sat down at the table

Belle: Dad and I were going to go for a walked in the park later on would you like to join us? asked Belle as she poured herself some juice

Sami: "Uh no thanks" said Sami as she stood from the table and said I've got a few errands to run before i pick up John's medicine as she started to walked out of the kitchen

Belle: "Sami" Belle said as she turned to face her. I thought about what you said last night and i wanted to say "thank you"

Sami: I'm sorry Belle i shouldn't have said what i did last night. Do you think you can forgive me?

Belle: "standing from her sit" you are my sister of course I'll forgive you Sami Belle said as she leaned forward to give her a hug

One-Hour-Later

Belle: Belle watched from the window as Sami climbed into her car and drove off. Belle away from the window and checked on her father before climbing the stairs up to her sister's bedroom. I just know you are hiding something Sami Belle whispered as she opened up her dresser and searched through it.

Sami: "Belle? what are you doing?"

Belle: jumped back and quickly closed the dresser before asking "Sami what are you doing back so soon?"

Sami: Maybe i should be asking what are you doing in my bedroom

Belle: Its a bit cold outside and i was seeing if you had extra pair of gloves?

Sami: Sami step forward and opened her dresser and brought out an extra pair of gloves

Belle: "Thanks" smiled Belle as she took the gloves and left the room

Sami: Sami eyed Belle closely as she walked down the hall towards her bedroom

Belle: Belle smiled as she saw Sami was still watching her as she closed her bedroom door. Belle lifted her father's will she found inside of Sami's dresser and placed it under her bed she didn't have time to go through it now as she heard her father calling her name. "Coming Daddy"



Chapter 4

That Afternoon

Belle: Isabella Black sat crossed legged in her father's study as she looked over her his will. She couldn't believe her eyes her half-sister Samantha Gene Brady would inherit everything right down to the house that they were living in. "Where would that leave her mother?" this cant be right Belle whispered as she picked up the phone and dialed her father's lawyer. "Mr Ben Wright please" Belle said into the phone.

Ben Wright: Ms. Black what can i do for you? asked Mr. Wright

Belle: Have you seen my father lately Mr. Wright?

Ben Wright: Just last week he came in with your sister Samantha Brady he wanted to update his will. Is everything alright Ms. Black?

Belle: Yes Mr. Wright everything is fine. Thank you for your time Belle said as she hang up the phone

Ben Wright: I've done as you asked Ms. Brady now will you please leave my office

Sami: As you wish smiled Sami as she stood and quietly left his office

Sami: sat outside in her parked car and waited until she saw Belle and John leave for their afternoon walked before she quickly got out of her car and quickly raced towards John's office. Removing John's old will from his safe and smiled as she quietly laid the new will on his desk. She smiled as she remembered walking into John's lawyer's office and demanded that he draw up a will.

Ben Wright: Excuse me Ms. Brady but you will not come into my office and just demand that i change someones will without their permission

Sami: She thought about that for a moment before smiling and saying "I'll be back" as she quietly lays some photo's of him cheating on his wife and saying "There's more where that came from" as she walks out of his office

Ben Wright's office

Belle: Belle saw there was no one at Mr. Wright's office so she quietly knocked on his door and when she didn't get answer she quietly opened the door and go inside. "Mr. Wright?" said Belle as she walked inside of his office to find him laying face down at his desk with a bullet to the head



Chapter 5

Three-Days-Later

Belle: Isabella Black walked through the front door of her father's house carrying a pile of mail with her as she sat down on the sofa. Flipping through the mail she noticed something was address to her father from Ben Wright's office. She tore it open and started to read it

Dear Mr. John Black,

It is with great sorrow that after nearly 10-years of working together i am writing you this letter to inform you that i will not be continuing our legal relationship. I am also enclosing a legal document containing the legal Will of Mr. John Black. It is with great sorrow that i inform you that i was blackmail by your step-daughter Samantha Gene Brady into changing the will at her request. In doing so in the event of Mr. Black's death she would inherit everything

Sami: I'm starving said Samantha Gene Brady as she came through the front door wearing a black see through dress and headed right for the kitchen. Belle do you want something to eat while i got everything out?

Belle: I'm not hungry Belle whispered as she walked up behind her

Sami: "Oh you scared me" said Sami as she closed the fridge and glanced back at her sister and said "you OK?"

Belle: "I'm OK" said Belle as she went to the fridge and brought some juice

Sami: "You still upset about John's lawyer?"

Belle: I've known Mr. Wright since i was a child Sami said Belle as she sipped her juice and remembered the letter he had sent her. I'm tired i think I'm gonna lay down for a while she said as she headed upstairs towards her bedroom. Feeling a bit uneasy she went straight to John's room and found him laying on the floor. "Sami call 911" Isabella screamed as she started to do CPR

One-Hour-Later

Dr. Bill Kennedy: Anyone here for Mr. John Black?

Belle: Yes doctor I'm his daughter. "How is he?"

Dr. Kennedy: I'm sorry to inform you Ms. Black but your father has passed away

Sami: Belle said Sami as she rushed inside and said "how is John?" "Belle?" said Sami as she step closer

Belle: My father is gone



Chapter 6

Three-Days-Later

Hope: I'm so sorry for your loss Belle Marlena said Hope Williams-Brady as she entered the funeral home and gave them each a hug before walking over to the casket and laid a red rose next to John

Victor: Isabella Marlena if there is anything i can do you'll let me know? asked Victor Kiriakis as he walked up to them and lightly squeezed there hands before walking away

Belle: Belle gave a small smile when she saw Shawn enter the funeral home and quietly sat in the back row. She gave a sigh of relief when she saw her sister Sami enter the funeral home and she signal for the preacher to start the service

Marlena: Finally decided to show up at your own step-father's funeral?

Sami: Better late then sorry as i always say smiled Sami as she saw her mother give her a questioning look

Thirty-Minutes-Later

Preacher John Woods Before we get started i would like to Thank You for coming as we know John Black was a very caring man who would do anything for his family

Sami: Sami snorted and said "sorry" when her mother gave her a warning look

Preacher Woods: John Black had 2 children Brady Black and Isabella Black and 3 step children Samantha Gene Brady Eric Brady and Carrie Brady-Reed. He was married to Dr. Marlena Evans-Black for nearly twenty-five years

Sami: I cant take this anymore whispered Sami Brady as she got up to leave but then stopped as she heard...

Sami: I know you don't want your wife finding out about us do you? said Sami Brady into the tape recorder

Ben Wright: What do you want me to do? asked Ben Wright

Sami: I know you would see it my way smiled Sami as she took a sat. I want you to change my step father's will so that when he dies I'll inherit everything and leave the rest of his family to rot

Shawn:Sami glared at Shawn when he turned off the tape recorder and said "got you"

Sami: Like hell you do Sami screamed as she lugged at him

Bo Brady: Hold it right there Samantha Brady said Bo Brady as he grabbed her and said your are under arrest for the murders of John Black and Ben Wright as he started to walked them away

Sami: Wait uncle Bo Sami said as she noticed Belle and Shawn hugging. "Isabella what's going on?"

Shawn: What does it look like Sami? I'm hugging my wife

Sami: Your wife?

Belle: Yes Sami Shawn and I are still married

Sami: What?

Belle: Dad's lawyer Ben Wright informed me months ago the changing of my father's will. So i took it upon myself to get to the bottom of this

Sami: So you've been playing me this whole time lying about you and Shawn breaking up? I'm gonna get you all for this screamed Sami as Bo led her away as she watched her sister only nod her head yes to Sami

Shawn: Hmmmm its finally over Shawn hugged Belle close to him and kissed the top of her head as they both heard Sami screaming "You all are gonna pay for this"

Belle: pulling away from him and looked up into Shawn's eyes and say "Is it really over?"
