Lucas comes in and sits down at a very scruffy looking Austin’s table. They talk about him being left at the altar. Lucas defends Sami. They both think she is scared about something...talk about her family abandonment issues and feelings of insecurity over Carrie. Lucas is sure that it is E.J.’s fault...doesn’t trust him.
Lexie comes in and orders take-out. She comes over to their table and tells Austin she’s sorry about what happened...then goes on to rag and rag some more about evil Sami. Austin and Lucas both defend Sami (nice for a change). Lexie starts name-calling...Sami is a witch...Sami is pathologically disturbed. Lucas gets angry. Austin is disgusted.
Sami’s Apartment
Sami is crying on the couch and in the throes of a nightmare. The camera scans to another infamous note lying on the carpet. We see a shadowing figure come into the apartment and come towards her. She wakes up and lets out a blood-curdling scream.
Next we see E.J. carrying a tray of breakfast goodies for her. She tells him about her nightmare...being chased with a man with a knife. He gives her the same tea his nanny/governess used to make for him...calls her a regular Mary Poppins.
Best part of the show...Sami actually starts talking positively about John Black. She explains to E.J. that he was a great dad to her when she was a kid...talks about the affair he had with her mom that produced Belle. He tells her he used his spare key to get into her apartment and apologizes...asks her about her feelings for Austin. Sami says it is over between them... definitely thinks Lexie is the one behind the blackmail and relates Lexie’s less than stellar history to E.J. She can’t think of anyone else who would want to stop the wedding. E.J. disagrees... says he knows a few people who would...including himself. She gets upset but he comes clean and tells her she should just be herself...Austin wanted her to be like Carrie... she deserves to be with someone who wants her for who and what she is and not what they want her to be.
She wonders if he is falling for him. Her foot scuffles against the note and she gasps. E.J. picks it up and she asks him to read it to her. The note congratulates her for doing the right thing and not marrying Austin...but if she wants her secret to be kept from everyone, there is one more thing she must do...give Lucas sole custody of Will. Sami goes ballistic...no way is she giving up her little boy. E.J. promises to help her always. She kisses him shyly and then they both start kissing each other.

Hope looks torn...just figured that because Bo said he wanted to be a family again...and the way he was with Shawn...that he would come with her. She takes up Patrick’s offer to give her a ride to the hospital and they leave.
Hospital
Patrick kind of defends Bo...says maybe he lost track of time. Hope thinks it might be Bo’s way of saying goodbye...it’s complicated. She reminisces about Zack...she and Bo made him...adored him...shared him...and then lost him. When they were lowering his casket into the ground, she wanted to climb in with him...hold him and tell him not to be afraid. She tells Patrick that Zack was her baby and she was scared to death to close her eyes and go to sleep because she was afraid that when she woke up he would be farther away...the memories of him would fade...but Bo took her in front of the mirror and told her to look at their faces...and said Zack had big green eyes like hers and his daddy’s big beautiful smile...her determined chin...and as long as they were together they would see their little boy.
She’s crying now and tells Patrick that no one understands how this feels, but when she was with Bo, she thought if they went through this awful unbearable pain together it would make it easier. She tells him that sometimes though, it seems that when they are together the pain is twice as much and if she does decide to walk away for the marriage, she knows it won’t be just Bo...but she’s be saying goodbye as well. Patrick hugs her. Bo walks in and sees them. A nurse comes up behind him and tells them that the doctor is ready for them...Mr. and Mrs. Lockhart. Bo looks shocked and then disgusted. He walks away. She just stops herself from leaving...gets into drama queen mode and demands that he arrest her or give her police protection.
Bo walks in and starts swearing at Kate. She tells him there won’t be a trial. He’s an unhappy camper. Roman kicks Kate out. He explains to Bo about the fake disk. Jack wants to know what Jennifer’s gut reaction is about his chances. She’s very optimistic...thinks the doctor will say Jack is in complete remission. Jack likes that prognosis...wants his life and family back. Frankie arrives as per Jack’s request. Jennifer thanks him for coming.
A nurse comes in with insurance papers for Jack to sign. Jennifer and Frankie wait outside. They rehash her love for both men...her anger at Jack’s way of trying to protect his family...the fact that Jack is the love of her life but she is furious at him...the fact that she also loves Frankie. They go into his office and Jack asks him if he is still dying or not.
Dr. Berman apologizes because he doesn’t have any answers yet. The lab sent the results to the doctor heading up the trials and he doesn’t know when they will come back. He tells Jack that as soon as he knows he’ll let him know and leaves. Frankie offers to call his buddy to speed things up. He tells them about the news conference and big race and asks if they want to go. Jack says he’s tired and wants to go home for a nap. He tries to push Jennifer into going. She wants to take care of him and says that Abby can tell them all about it when she gets home. Frankie leaves. Jack’s cell phone rings and it’s a mechanical voice telling him that he/she has information on the murder of Officer Eve Michaels.
Jennifer wants to know who is on the phone. Jack tries to ask and gets laughed at for his efforts. He tells the mechanical voice that he is on a sabbatical and not back at work yet. The voice tells him that this would make a great reentry story for him and tells him to meet him at the warehouse across pier five within the hour. Jack and Jennifer argue like old times...lol...with him snowing her and taking off and her huffing over it.
Jack walks carefully into the warehouse...looking around...whispering hello...is anyone there. He takes a few steps in and is told that this isn’t a wild goose chase and to sit down. The voice appreciates Jack meeting with him and hopes he can trust him because what he is about to tell him could get them both killed. Jack hears a noise and excuses himself for a second. He comes up behind Jennifer and she gasps. Jennifer tells Jack she couldn’t step back and watch him get hurt...not in his condition. Chez Rouge
Maggie puts a sign up outside announcing the restaurant’s closure for the press conference.
Inside, Abby is a basket case waiting for news about her dad. Max and Chelsea try to comfort her. Max thinks that Frankie wants Jack to be okay no matter what happens between him and Jennifer. Philip arrives in a snazzy suit and tie and Abby asks him if there is any news about Will yet. She thinks that he probably just took off to avoid the teasing he would get at school because of the wedding debacle. Philip tells Max he should go and get ready for the reporters.
Max leaves and literally bumps into Stephanie. They tease each other about the race. He tells her that he loves overconfident racecar drivers. She asks him if they should pretend to be at each other’s throats/hate each other at the press conference. They joke about it.
Maggie comes over to Kate and E.J. and asks about Will. Kate tells her how worried she is. Maggie wonders if they want to postpone the news conference but E.J. smooth talks his way out of it by saying they felt that on balance it was better to keep people busy. Maggie is grateful to them for giving her the business.
Abby pulls Chelsea over ands asks her if the paternity problem she was talking about before was to do with Shawn finding the report at the hospital. Chelsea defends what she tried to do but that no one believes it because Shawn and Belle didn’t sleep together so there is no way Claire could be his. Abby wonders if someone doctored the report. Chelsea thinks her good deed turned into a bad one because Shawn and Philip think that the same person who messed with the file also switched the embryos. Abby is shocked and blurts out the first thing that comes into her head. Chelsea gets ticked off that Abby would think she would have done it.
Philip walks up to Kate and E.J. and nonchalantly tells them that it was a funny thing, but he was watching CNBC and imagine his surprise to find out that the two of them were starting a company called Mythic Communications. He wonders if it means that she is leaving Basic Black. Kate admits that she is decreasing her involvement with Basic Black to avoid a conflict of interest. Philip thinks it would have been nice to hear about it from his mother even if he is the competition. E.J. says it was his idea to keep it a secret. The two men jockey for power positions. Philip tells him that he can see he is all about control and power.
E.J. gives Philip a drink and surmises that he is the competition now...thinks that Philip’s dad is doing a little bit more than just dabbling in communications. Philip warns E.J. that his dad taught Austin and his mom everything they know about business. The one-upmanship continues with E.J. looking forward to serving Philip a healthy portion of dust.
Abby apologizes to Chelsea. Chelsea understands and says that whenever something horrible or stupid happens in this town, it’s usually her that causes it. She swears that this time she didn’t do it.
Max knocks on Stephanie’s door and asks if she is ready...tells her that the press conference is starting in about two minutes. Stephanie comes out and asks him how she looks. He tells her she looks perfect. Chelsea appears. Stephanie runs back to get her helmet. Max tells Chelsea he is glad that they have a moment alone and kisses her. He’s really glad that she came down for the press conference.
Frankie comes in and sees Maggie. She notices that Jennifer isn’t with him and asks about Jack’s test results. Frankie tells her that there is no news yet...wants Jennifer to make a decision already.
Maggie opens up the press conference by welcoming everyone to Chez Rouge. Chelsea and Abby notice Bo walking in and wonder what he is doing there. Maggie brings E.J. out and introduces him. E.J. talks about the new company he and Kate have established and introduces Stephanie. Stephanie says she has raced all over the world but is glad to be back in Salem. Philip goes up and talks about dear old dad. He introduces Max who tells everyone how thankful he is for the opportunity to be racing for Titan Industries.
The reporters ask questions about Max and Stephanie’s professional and personal relationships. They jokingly say that they hate each other. Max tells them that they are not blood-related but are family and will be racing for bragging rights. Stephanie calls their sponsors to come up and end the conference. E.J. takes a low shot at Philip...talks about hoping Philip won’t be taking the car for a test run. Philip responds... calls E.J. tall and funny...he’s impressed. He talks about Shawn’s turbo engine making Max’s car faster than ever. A reporter finally asks them whether they are racing together off the track. Chelsea is not a happy camper.
Max introduces Chelsea as the woman he is seeing and his good luck charm. She goes up to be with him. Bo gets a phone call from Abe. He walks up and introduces himself... tells everyone the press conference is over and to all leave. Kate asks him if it is about Will’s kidnapping. He tells her he doesn’t have any news about that but is here to take Chelsea Brady into custody. Chelsea is shocked.
Bo drags a struggling Chelsea out of there...tells her that they found out whose prints are on the file. Philip is ticked and tells Bo that he will be down to the station as soon as he is finished there. Bo tells Chelsea to shut up until she gets an attorney. He can’t understand why she is doing this to Shawn...does she hate him so much? Is she that resentful of the family Bo has with Hope?
A reporter gets in Max’s face and asks him what kind of good luck charm his girlfriend is now. Max looks ready to go for his throat but Stephanie stops him.
Salem Police Department
Bo gets a crank phone call from someone who thinks he saw Will. Abe can’t understand why Sami didn’t keep the blackmailer’s notes. Bo says it’s because she thought they were from Lexie. He defends Lexie but Abe says he doesn’t know her anymore...Lexie is a Dimera and the Dimeras were never friends to the Bradys. Abe thinks the news conference at Chez Rouge is worth watching. Bo tells him he already sent over some plainclothes police officers to act like media. Abe just hopes that Lexie doesn’t realize he is investigating her for Eve’s murder... doesn’t want her to get the idea that they might get back together because it isn’t going to happen.
Bo wonders if there is a connection between Eve’s murder and Will’s kidnapping as well as whether Lexie is involved. Abe starts writing Kate and Lexie’s names in the suspect column on the whiteboard. They talk about the disk that will save Bo’s marriage if he can just get his hands on it. A subdued Lexie arrives and Bo discreetly removes the whiteboard before she can see it. She asks him why they needed to meet at the police station.
Bo leaves to go to the news conference. Abe tells Lexie that it’s really good to see her again and that he’s been doing a lot of thinking...realizes he made a big mistake and is withdrawing his petition for divorce. Lexie is happy that he wants to withdraw the petition but wants to know what made him change his mind. He tells her that he took a good look in the mirror and realized he was the reason she wasn’t satisfied in their marriage...he felt sorry for himself and wouldn’t consider other ways to be intimate...asks
if she can forgive him. Lexie is moved and tells him of course she can forgive him but wonders if he can truly forgive her.
Abe admits that it will be hard to trust Lexie again but he is willing to try. He tells her that he misses her and Theo and the family they created together. They kiss. He asks her to the Penthouse Grill for supper. She phones her mom to babysit. A police officer comes in and tells Abe that they made a positive I.D. on the prints from Shawn Brady’s hospital room file.
Lexie gets off the phone and asks Abe if its bad news. He thinks it’s as bad as it can get for the Bradys and reaches for the phone. Abe tells Lexie about the emails that Chelsea fixed. Lexie brings up Philip’s theory and wonders if Chelsea switched the embryos.

Janice’s Spoilers
Jack & Jennifer
The newsroom has a brand new look. Jack and Jennifer get off the elevator and walk in. Jack is ecstatic to be back. He hugs his desk. He hugs his chair. He loves that his pencils are still in his drawer...unsharpened...lol... There’s a picture on his desk and he wants to know who is in it. Jennifer explains that it belongs to Chip, the husband of his replacement—Mary Sue McManus. Jack is upset that he was replaced...throws the picture in the waste basket and decides that Mary Sue will have to sit somewhere else. They start to talk about the investigation and how Jennifer showed up at the warehouse and spoiled things. She tells him she couldn’t let him go into danger without her. He phones up the new editor and tells him he’s back and with a big mystery story.
Jennifer isn’t having any luck searching for information about the gun on the internet. Jack is looking through a catalogue and thinks he’s found something...sometimes the old ways are the best ways. She is sure he is wrong. He refuses to budge. She threatens to leave. They get into the old times and reminisce...he told her she was the best intern he ever had. Jack confesses to a shocked Jennifer that he was madly in love with her from the minute she walked into the newsroom. She’s not sure if she should be insulted or complimented. We get a cute flashback of a younger Jennifer bursting into Jack’s bedroom, locking the door and depositing the key down her blouse. She refuses to let them out of the room until they talk about how they feel about each other. Back in the present, Jennifer asks herself why she puts up with him after all these years. Jack admits that he was wrong...slightly mistaken...definitely wrong...lol...and she decides to stay.
They figure the mystery man got hold of the picture because he already had the gun in his possession. Jennifer wonders if he is the killer. Jack doesn’t think so. They talk about his newspaper award that is sitting on Mary Sue’s desk. He wants to know how it got there. Jennifer thought he was dead and that it would be great for everyone to be able to see the trophy in the newsroom...especially since when she had it at home it just made her cry. She makes a joke about Mary Sue’s lack of writing talent. Jack smiles and says he only reads the obits...looking for his name. Jennifer doesn’t think that is funny. He gets an idea and off they go to see an old friend of his.
They walk into this sleazy pawnshop and see Sal...lol...a friend of Jack’s dad at San Quentin. Sal thinks Jennifer is hot. They show him the picture and Sal tells them he thinks he can help but wants to know what’s in it for him. Jack blusters and tells him that he will make him and offer he can’t refuse. Sal looks at the picture of the gun and salivates...would give his eye teeth to gets his hands on one of those babies...these guns are as about as rare as they come...stopped being made a few years ago. He goes to the back.
Jennifer and Jack look around and Jack sees a saxophone. She reminds him that he’s tone deaf... lol... They notice an old Underwood typewriter and get excited...reminisce about newsrooms in days gone past...Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell...My Girl Friday. We get a cute black and white flashback with Jack dressed up in a snazzy dark suit and tie calling Jennifer Dollface...Jennifer in a snazzy suit with hat and lace covering her face (looking gorgeous) ...and Sal as an old-time bank robber mistaking the address for the bank... lol... Back in the present Sal gives them a huge list of previous gun owners. Jack pays and pays and pays...lol... Jennifer finally notices one of the names and points it out to Jack who is shocked...figures it has to be their killer and the town will be in for the shock of its life.
Chez Rouge
The news conference is over...the place is being cleaned up...Philip and Max are the only ones left. Max tries to defend Chelsea to Philip. Philip doesn’t think Bo would have arrested her in front of everyone if she were innocent. Max thinks there is a logical explanation...Chelsea works in the hospital file room. Philip reminds him that she hit something/someone in the middle of the night and didn’t even get out to investigate, and then tried to pin Zack’s death on her own mother. Max admits that Chelsea has made some big mistakes.
Brady Loft
Mimi is feeding Shawn chicken soup from a cup... thinks it’s a great cure. Shawn thinks it’s the person who’s feeding him that is making him feel better...lol... She’s just glad he’s better and everything is back to normal. He doesn’t want to talk about it and starts kissing her...they get hot and heavy until there is a knock on the door... groaning...Shawn doesn’t want Mimi to answer it... tells her to get rid of whoever it is quickly. She makes sure her clothes are on right...lol...and opens the door to Belle and Claire. Belle is very sorry to be interrupting...asks if they can come in...needs some help. Mimi mumbles very dryly that they were just enjoying some alone time.
Shawn tells her that she isn’t interrupting...they aren’t doing anything that they can’t continue later. Mimi isn’t a happy camper. Belle explains that Claire missed her nap and doesn’t want to go to sleep. Shawn takes her in his arms...lol...so cute... Belle thinks he has a way with her and will know how to get her to sleep. Mimi murmurs that she thought Philip was pretty good at getting her to sleep. Belle tells them that Philip is at the press conference. Mimi comments on how stimulating her husband can be and how Shawn has kept her up all night sometimes. Shawn shushes her and says that Claire is listening. Mimi looks on exasperated.
Shawn starts teasing Claire...knows she’s all stressed out...can’t decide what building blocks to play with tomorrow...thinks maybe she should count sheep except that she doesn’t know how to count yet. The phone rings and Mimi suggests that he get the phone while she gets some juice or warm milk for Claire. Philip is on the phone and asks if Shawn has heard that a suspect was brought in for tampering with the file and the bogus DNA test. He tells Shawn that he knows the suspect like she’s his sister...because it’s Chelsea.
In the next scene, Shawn has gone out. Belle thinks its kind of weird how Shawn suddenly had to get some air and took off. Mimi tells her that Shawn is still not really himself yet and that sometimes the medication makes him feel nauseated. She hopes that Belle will be able to get Claire to sleep. Belle doesn’t think so...thinks Uncle Shawn is so good with Claire. Mimi gets upset and asks her if she has to keep going on and on about how great Shawn is with her daughter after everything they have been through. Belle apologizes for being insensitive. She tells Belle that Claire is her kid and she should get her to sleep. Belle is upset as well now...doesn’t understand why Mimi would say that when she knows Belle’s greatest fear is being a bad mother. Mimi tells her she never meant that but that Belle keeps barging in and looking for excuses to shove Claire in Shawn’s face. Belle argues that she isn’t doing that... Mimi and Shawn are Claire’s godparents and they have both said that they love spending time with her. She tells Mimi that she has no reason to feel insecure because they both know that Claire isn’t Shawn’s... unless Mimi thinks Claire really is Shawn’s. Belle looks at Mimi suspiciously.
Mimi quietly says that she doesn’t think Claire is Shawn’s unless there was some kind of Immaculate Conception. Belle smiles self-deprecatingly and says that people have accused her of trying to be a saint. She laughs and says that she knows she isn’t one. Mimi goes on the attack and tells her that she isn’t a jerk either so to stop acting like it. Belle is shocked. Mimi continues to say that if Belle’s baby is tired...then rock her or sing her a lullaby...but stop coming to Mimi’s husband for help.
Mimi apologizes for being so harsh...she loves Claire...knows that Shawn and Claire have a special bond...but wants Belle to understand that they really are trying to make their marriage work. Mimi thinks the fact that Belle is pregnant with Shawn’s baby and they were once in love will be harder for Shawn than herself...she’s not stupid. She lays out all her cards and asks Belle, as the person she still considers her best friend, to give them a chance and not make it anymore difficult. Belle maintains that she isn’t trying to make things more difficult...her family is with Philip. Mimi reminds her that she keeps barging in and trying to make her, Shawn, and Claire seem like one big happy family...maybe she’s being neurotic and insecure...but if this is how it is now...how will it be in a few months when the new baby arrives... the baby Belle will be having with Shawn. Belle agrees and apologizes for not being the most sensitive person...she tells Mimi she’s really sorry. Mimi steps back and tells her not to get her wrong...that Belle and Claire are still welcome... knows it’s not intentional. Belle promises to call first before they barge in again. Mimi thinks that would be a start and thanks her for understanding. Belle tells her that she and Shawn are her very best friends and she would never want to do anything to hurt her. Mimi looks scared...uncomfortable (sigh I wish she would tell what she knows ...truth or not) and tells her she wouldn’t want to do anything to hurt her either.
Salem Police Station
Bo drags Chelsea into the office. She can’t believe he arrested his own daughter. He tells her he’s not arresting her...yet...but wants to know why her fingerprints were on the file and how it got into Shawn’s hospital room. She tries to prevaricate...admits she works in the hospital records room. He tells her the file was fabricated and doesn’t want to hear anymore excuses...asks her if she hates Shawn that much or is that resentful of Bo’s family involvement. He tells her he should lock her up and throw away the key. Enter Frankie stage left...fluffing his macho feathers...telling Bo that he’ll have him to deal with if he does that. Bo looks annoyed.
Bo tells Frankie that he doesn’t like interrogating his own daughter but if she’s responsible then he’s glad that Frankie is here because she is going to need a good lawyer again. Chelsea tells Frankie that she didn’t do it...begs him to help her. Frankie asks Bo for some time alone with his client. Bo gives him 5 minutes. After Bo leaves, Frankie plays hardball...wants to know the truth. She admits that she put the file in Shawn’s hospital room but insists that it wasn’t for the reason everyone thinks.
Philip and Max walk into the station room and Bo tells them that Chelsea is with her lawyer. Philip goes to make a call. Max tries to defend Chelsea to Bo. Bo tells him he’s given her the benefit of the doubt too many times already. Max wonders whatever happened to being innocent until proven guilty. Shawn arrives and wants to know if it’s true and why Bo didn’t call him. Bo tells him he thought he needed his rest and would have told him later...suggests they all go home. Shawn argues that Chelsea is the reason their lives have been turned upside-down and he thinks they have a right to confront her...especially after what she has done to all of their families...he wants to see her punished. Philip won’t go either...thinks Chelsea is responsible for the embryo switch. Shawn tells them that he hasn’t told Mimi and Belle about Chelsea yet.
Max reminds them that they are not Chelsea’s judge and jury. Philip wants her to answer for what she has done. Frankie comes out with Chelsea. She’s surprised to see Shawn and Philip there. Shawn tells her that they want to make sure she gets what she deserves and goes away for a very...very long time...this time no one can protect her and he is going to make sure that she gets what she deserves...if the courts don’t do it then he will serve justice himself. Chelsea cries that she didn’t do it. Bo tries to hold him back. He turns on Bo and says he thought Bo washed his hands of her so why is he defending her...he reminds him that she is the reason his little brother is dead. He turns his anger on Chelsea again and tells her that she has been a curse on this family from the very beginning and made their lives a living hell. Max goes ballistic and decks Shawn. Bo holds Shawn back from going after him. The others hold Max back.
Chelsea still denies that she switched the embryos...admits that she found the file and took it to Shawn’s room but didn’t change anything and it wasn’t a phony DNA report... she did not falsify records. Shawn is shocked and asks her if she is trying to tell him that his DNA matches Claire’s? Philip tells Shawn there is no way the DNA could match because Shawn never slept with Belle. He figures the file has to be a fake and was doctored by Chelsea. Max asks if there were any other fingerprints. Bo tells him that Shawn, Phil, Belle’s, and Lexie’s were also on the outside of the file but Chelsea’s were the only prints on the inside which is why he brought her in. Max is devastated. He finally believes that she did it.
Chelsea argues that she saw the file and was shocked. She just wanted to do something good. Shawn asks her if she’s crazy. Philip asks her if she realizes what this has done to their families. Chelsea tells them both that she didn’t know the DNA report was a fake. She turns to Shawn and tells him that she knows he has every right to hate her...but he is still her brother...heard he was in the hospital and might die...thought it would make up for what she did to Zack. Shawn is confused. She tells him that she thought that if he knew that Claire was his child, that it would give him something to live and fight for...he loves Belle and always will. Shawn looks at her in shock. She tells him not to deny it...they all know that he loves Belle and always will.
Frankie tells them that the interrogation is over. Philip says he will read the rest of her lies in the deposition and once her criminal trial is over and she is found guilty, he will take her to civil court. He leaves. Shawn gets right in Chelsea’s face and tells her to do him a favor and don’t ever call him her brother because she is nothing to him. Bo tells her that he needs to take her statement. Chelsea asks to speak to Zack alone. They go into the office.
Chelsea pleads with Max to believe in her...she knows she has done a lot of things, but he is the only person who ever stood by her side...the only person she’s ever been able to count on. She starts crying. Max has had enough. He tells her he can’t do it anymore and that it’s over. He leaves and she starts crying even harder.

Janice’s Spoilers
Chez Rouge Part I
Shawn, Mimi, and Bonnie walk into Chez Rouge. Maggie is excited to see Shawn looking better... thinks Mimi’s outfit looks adorable...is ready to snipe at Bonnie big time. She leaves to get them menus and Bonnie gets rambunctious. Mimi tells her to put the fork down...lol...and that maybe Maggie is still feeling threatened by what happened with Mickey. Mimi promises Shawn that “Bon-Bon” is going to be on her best behavior. She notices how quiet and subdued he is and calls him on it. He mentions wishing he had gone to the press conference and finally tells her why Philip called and the reason he went down to the police station. Mimi gets nervous and asks him why Chelsea would think they would fall for that crap about Shawn being Claire’s biological father when Shawn, Philip, Belle, and Mimi all know it couldn’t be true. Shawn quietly tells her that he doesn’t know.
Bonnie is eating and talking a mile a minute... hopes they roast Chelsea’s little butt in court and send that witch away for a long time...first she kills Shawn’s brother and then... yada...yada... Mimi tries to shut her up but to no avail. Bonnie figures that Shawn must want to beat the “you know what” out of his little sister. Shawn is very thoughtful and tells Mimi and Bonnie that Chelsea actually said that she was doing him a favor. Bonnie chokes on her food and gets pretty loud. Mimi tries to shush her again. Bonnie is sure that Claire is the spitting image of Philip. Shawn looks at her and asks if she really thinks so. Both Mimi and Bonnie answer simultaneously “sure.” Mimi asks him if he doesn’t think so too. Shawn says he doesn’t know, but to him Claire isn’t like Philip at all. Maggie serves the appetizers and puts in her two cents. She remembers sitting recently for Claire and looking at Belle’s baby pictures...thinks Claire doesn’t look anything like Belle so she must be her daddy’s daughter. Shawn just takes it all in.
Mimi comments on Maggie not thinking that Claire looks like Belle. She tells her that personally she doesn’t think that babies ever look like their parents. She doesn’t look like her mom and dad so it doesn’t really matter... Maggie tells her that she’s seen a lot of babies. Bonnie gets a dig or two in. Mimi changes the topic and tells Maggie the food is delicious and asks about the spice she used. Maggie tells her it’s Rosemary and gets a dig of her own in at Bonnie...i.e. Rosemarie’s Baby with Mia Farrow...lol... Maggie leaves.
Shawn gets a call from his dad (see below) asking Shawn to come down to the station for a DNA test. Shawn tells him they already know that he can’t be Claire’s father. Bo says it isn’t so much about Claire’s paternity as it is about Chelsea’s guilt...if they prove the document was doctored, then it will be tougher on Chelsea. Shawn argues that he’s out to dinner with his wife. Bo asks him if he wants justice or not. Shawn looks grim as he tells his dad that he’ll be right there. He tells Mimi he’s sorry but that he has to go and take a DNA test to prove that his DNA doesn’t match the one in the report. He kisses Mimi’s hair and tells her he’ll be back for dessert and to order that Volcano dessert that they both love and get two (looks resignedly at Bonnie)...no three forks. He leaves and Mimi freaks out. She tells her mom that she always knew this day would come...he’s going to take that DNA test and the DNA’s going to match and he’s going to know the truth...where will that leave her???
Mimi is busy ripping the bread to shreds...lol... and her mom calls her on it. Mimi tells her she’s just nervous...it’s bad enough that Shawn is having a baby with his old girlfriend a.k.a. the love of his life, but now he’s about to find out that her first baby is his too. Mimi doesn’t think she has a chance now. Bonnie tells her that Shawn loves her... he’s always fussing over her...bringing her cute little presents...taking her to nice places and then taking her home and getting cozy with her under the sheets. Mimi is embarrassed that the whole restaurant can hear Bonnie. Bonnie is happy that Mimi knows how to make Shawn happy and thinks she got it from her. Mimi reminds her that her dad left her and Mickey left her for Maggie. She wonders if all she has to look forward to is a life of loneliness. Bonnie knows it’s her own fault and thinks she’s not as smart as Mimi. Mimi apologizes...is just freaked out about losing Shawn...if he finds out that Claire is his, she doesn’t know how she will hang on to him.

Salem Police Department
Chelsea finishes writing up her statement while Bo and Frankie look on. She hands it to him and tells him it’s the truth...she was just doing a good deed...yada...yada... Bo is a little skeptical that it was a humanitarian act. Chelsea argues that she was just trying to give Shawn a chance to know the truth or what she thought was the truth...and she had nothing to do with the embryo switch...thinks it’s disgusting and would never... Frankie tells her to stop talking. Bo asks for a minute alone with his daughter and Frankie tells him to play fair before leaving.
Bo is looking grimly at Chelsea. She tells him he can look at her that way but not yell at her. He asks what way? Like she took his son’s life and didn’t pay for it? Like she ruined his marriage and is now trying to ruin Shawn’s life? He tells her that this time she won’t get away with it... this time she will pay, he promises, father to daughter.
Billie arrives and is happy to see Frankie until she finds out that he left Chelsea alone with Bo. Then she starts to rag on him...is worried that Bo is so angry she doesn’t know what he will say to Chelsea...thinks that it could make things much worse.
Inside the office, Chelsea is pleading with Bo to understand that she was just trying to help Shawn. He doesn’t believe her. She says that Shawn is her brother and she cares about him. Bo picks up on her words and says that Zack was also her brother. Chelsea says that she knows she can’t make up for what happened to Zack but she misses Bo... wants to be a part of this family...wants to be the daughter he wants her to be. Bo still doesn’t believe her and doesn’t think the judge and jury will believe her either given her history...if they can make the charges stick, she will go away for a very long time. Chelsea argues that her fingerprints only prove that she had her hands on the file, not that she tampered with the results...so what if Shawn really is Claire’s father? Bo tells her that there is only one way to find out...they have to check Shawn’s DNA against Claire’s.
Chelsea tells her dad to do it...test Shawn and Claire and he will find out she isn’t lying... she’s innocent. Bo calls Shawn. (see above).
Billie arrives and Bo leaves them alone. Chelsea tells her that whatever anyone says, she didn’t do it. Billie tells her she believes her and they hug. She assures Chelsea that neither of her parents hate her. Chelsea explains that she was just doing her community service...saw the file and looked in it...wasn’t trying to hurt anyone...just wanted Shawn to feel better. She thinks that when Zack died that so did a part of Shawn. He knew Zack since he was a little baby and she didn’t. She overheard a couple of nurses say that Shawn could die and wondered just how much a family should have to take. She promises she didn’t do it to score points with Shawn...just wanted to give him hope.
Bo tells Shawn that he will put a rush on the results. Shawn doesn’t want to wait around. Bo says he will call him. Frankie pipes up and says he wants to know the results as well. Shawn can’t understand why he is even defending Chelsea. Frankie explains that Billie called him and that people are innocent until proven guilty. Shawn sarcastically agrees but wonders how much proof Frankie needs. He turns to his dad and asks him if he is actually going to hang onto the evidence when he gets it this time. Bo just wants justice. Shawn doesn’t believe there is such a thing as justice anymore.
Shawn asks Bo if they are done. He wants to get back to his wife. Bo wants to talk to him...asks how he is. Shawn tells him he’s fine. Bo asks about the situation with Belle... it can be tough having a baby with someone when you’re married to someone else. Shawn says that Mimi was freaked out for a while and he knows it was hard on her, but he made it clear that he isn’t going to be a hands-off dad when Belle has the baby. Bo picks up on that statement and says that if he is going to be seeing the baby then he is going to be seeing the mom... asks if Shawn’s okay with being hands-off on Belle as well. Shawn just stares at him.
Billie thinks that Chelsea’s “good deed” will turn out good in the end. Chelsea tells her mom that Max broke up with her. Billie tells her that she will never leave her. Chelsea thinks they can both be old maids together...lol...
Shawn tells his dad not to start acting as if he knows how he is feeling. He says that he might have gone a little overboard regarding Mimi’s demands, but just wanted to make sure he would have time with his child...it had nothing to do with his feelings for Belle. Bo figures that Shawn does have feelings for Belle. Shawn tells him to stop interrogating him and he leaves.
Bo phones for an escort to take the DNA sample to the lab. Billie comes up with Chelsea and gets the okay to take Chelsea home as long as she doesn’t leave town. He tells Chelsea that the DNA sample is on its way to the lab and once the results are in he will give her a call and clear up this mess for everybody.
Chez Rouge Part II
Mimi tells the waiter they will just have coffee for now until her husband returns for dessert. She tells her mom that this is probably the last dessert she will have with Shawn. Bonnie tells her she needs to think like a winner. Mimi reminds her that Belle is going to have two children with Shawn and she is going to have none...and that short of pulling a Sami Brady (breaking into hospital lab and pulling a switch on the DNA results) that she is through. Bonnie gets a light bulb moment and starts making plans. Mimi reminds her that she’s been in jail before and it’s not really for her. Bonnie starts talking about surveillance cameras and wonders which lab they went to. Mimi puts her foot down and tells her that Shawn is her husband and it’s her life. She tells Bonnie to stay out of it...no dirty tricks...she means it!
Bonnie tells Mimi that she’s not going to commit murder or anything...she’s just trying to save a marriage. Mimi isn’t impressed...reminds her mom that all she taught her kids was how to lie. Mimi berates herself for lying to Rex and to Shawn. She doesn’t want to be in a marriage where she has to pretend and watch her step all the time...where she is just one minute away from always slipping up. She wishes she had told Shawn what she knows a long time ago. Mimi thinks that it’s over and she just has to accept the consequences. Bonnie tells her that Shawn knows just as much as she does now and he says that he didn’t sleep with Belle. She turns about face and tells Mimi that it’s her life and if telling the truth is what she has to do, Bonnie will stand behind her 100%. Mimi looks at her mom suspiciously for giving in so fast...hopes she’s not up to something stupid.
Bonnie tells Mimi she doesn’t have anything up her sleeve. Shawn comes back and says “that was fun” in a droll voice. He asks about dinner. Mimi tells him it was delicious. She asks what happened. He tells her it was just routine...they swabbed his cheek and sent it off to the lab. Bonnie gets a headache and an attitude to go with it...decides to leave them alone to enjoy their dessert...thanks Shawn for the wonderful dinner... thanks Mimi for giving her such a wonderful son-in-law and leaves.
Mimi apologizes to Shawn for giving him a lunatic for a mother-in-law. She asks him quietly when the test results will get back. He says it doesn’t matter because he already knows what they will say...there is no possible way he could be Claire’s father. They stare at each other.
Sal’s Pawnshop
Jack can’t see them going to Commander Brady’s office and showing him the list... pointing to one specific person...and saying that this is the person who killed Officer Eve Michaels. He figures it will be shocking news...stunning news...but... Jennifer finishes his thoughts by saying that they don’t have enough evidence yet. Jack thinks it’s time to contact Deep Throat again. Jennifer doesn’t like the look on his face. He tells her to trust him. She says: “Famous last words!” LOL... Jennifer doesn’t even know how they would contact Deep Throat II...put an ad in the paper? They don’t even have his telephone number. Sal thinks he can put the word out on the street and find out for them. Jack tells him to go to it...lol...Sal just looks at him. Jennifer figures out that he wants something. Jack tells him he’s all tapped out. Sal thinks the “clock” on his wrist will do well enough. Jennifer forces Jack to give Sal his watch.
Jack and Sal are both manning the phones. Jack hangs up. Sal tells someone to make some noise and hangs up as well. He explains to Jennifer that the word is out and now they just have to wait. Jennifer is climbing the walls. Sal tells “Jenny” lol...that she needs an activity. She counters that this isn’t summer camp. He pulls out a chess set and tells them to knock themselves out. Jack and Jennifer get competitive...remember Christmas Eve three years ago and she won.
Sal watches as Jack and Jennifer argue their way through checkers. He skips two squares and she accuses him of cheating. Sal tells them they are driving him nuts...appeals to his better half up above (Philomena)...lol...tells them to stifle it and kicks them out.
Newsroom
Jack is working on the setup/background information for his article while they wait for a phone call. He’s excited to be back in the saddle again like Roy and Dale...lol...back on the investigative trail. Jennifer wants him to take a step back and think about his health... what if he’s not in remission? Jack tells her he feels terrific and isn’t going to waste anymore time waiting around to hear how long he has left. He convinces Jennifer to just take the moment and appreciate the heck out of it, and kisses her.
Jack is weaving quite the adventure through his writing and Jennifer is quite caught up in it... insists on getting her fair share of the credit... lol... The phone rings and its Deep Throat II. They scurry away.
Warehouse
Jack and Jennifer slip into the darkened warehouse and start on each other again. Jack wants to protect Jennifer...uses his illness and the fact that she is the mother of his children to gain brownie points. Jennifer wants to help. He tells her it doesn’t matter how much she can bench press, the fact is that she is a girl and he’s a guy and can she just play the Lois Lane role to his Clark Kent this time. He doesn’t want anything to happen to her. They hear a muted scream and he goes to check it out.
Jack talks to Mr. Throat...thanks him for the solid information on the gun...asks if there is any other additional information he can give him. All of a sudden a few guys rush him and cover his head with a sack...subduing his struggles. Jennifer rushes up and gets the same treatment. She calls out his name. One of the guys tells them that he has orders to make sure they don’t make anymore trouble.

Frankie sits down and tells her that her mom and dad didn’t come home last night. At first she is really happy that they probably are on a romantic getaway. They take off with Jack telling her that they have to finish this conversation. They run up to a cabin and start yelling if anyone is home. Jack tries to break the door down. He thinks it might be the place where she gave birth to Abby. She doesn’t want him to go there...has all these feelings...finally spoke her mind...just wants to be mad at him for a while. He moves closer to her. She begs him not to touch her...not to come near her...not to be charming. He asks her what she is scared of. She denies being scared and tells him that it is his fault that Frankie is probably worried sick about them. He thinks maybe he shouldn’t have returned to Salem. She tells him how much it meant to them that he did, but that she has changed...wants to be home with a husband she can count on.
Jack figures she means dependable Frankie. She agrees...Frankie has been there for little boy tantrums and teenage back talk, etc... and she loves him very much.. She looks in the window and wonders if it really is the cabin where Abby was born. They start banging on the door again. A mean-looking old woman with a rifle asks them who the hell they are...tells them that they shoot trespassers around here and nobody ever hears the tales. Bo says he is going to stay away from the courtroom until he finds the evidence. Abe figures that if the primary evidence is gone then they should look for the secondary evidence... corroborating evidence...like the bribe. Bo shows him Eve’s bank statements. Abe tells him to take it up to IT and see what they can discover.
Patrick saunters in and wants to help with the investigation...tries to get information out of Tek. Tek reminds him he’s just an academy rookie. Bo arrives and goes ballistic. She knows that Bo is grieving too...wasn’t in his right mind when Zack died but...he protected his daughter and not her son...he’s the reason Zack is dead...he stole the evidence disk so Chelsea wouldn’t be convicted... she just wanted justice for her boy. Alice asks her if she really believes that Bo did that.
Hope tells her that she does believe it...she wanted to believe that he could prove his innocence but he hasn’t done it. Alice tells her that grief makes it hard to see the truth and not to rush into a divorce. Maggie tells her that losing a child puts a terrible strain on a marriage and she shouldn’t make life-altering decisions for a while. Hope doesn’t think either of them knows what she is going through. She tells them that she has lost everything and runs out of the courtroom. Maggie goes after her and apologizes. Hope tells her that she knows that Alice lost a child but at least she had the chance to see her mom grow up, get married, and have a child. She says that knowing her son isn’t going to see his 6th birthday is like a weight pressing on her heart every day. She is so tired and the pain will never go away.
Maggie hugs her and tells her that she will get through this but not by running away. Hope tells her she can’t go through the pain. Maggie thinks she has already started to and that when she does, she will need Bo. Hope believes that she and Bo are finished. Maggie refuses to believe her. Hope thinks that if she can’t trust him then she can’t be married to him. Patrick turns up like a bad penny and agrees. Hope is a happy camper to see him.
Alice gives him the evil eye and says that he came because he wanted to make sure Hope doesn’t change her mind (Go Alice!!!). He tells Alice that he understands that she has a long history with Bo and respects that but...Bo hurt her very badly and he just wants to take care of her. Maggie adds that he wants to take very good care of her but she has her family and doesn’t need anyone else. Alice agrees and says that Bo will always be her family.
Frankie comes in and apologizes for being late. Maggie leaves to join Alice in the corridor. Frankie puts Patrick in his place when he tries to listen to his and Hope’s conversation. He tells him that this doesn’t concern him. Patrick steps back and mumbles that it does. Frankie asks Hope if she is sure this is what she wants. She admits that she doesn’t want to divorce Bo but she can’t go back. He reminds her that she doesn’t have to decide today and tells her to think about it while he answers his cell phone. It’s Bo who tells him that they are working on Jack and Jennifer’s disappearance and asks him to stall with the court.
The court is called to order. Hope tells Frankie she needs to talk to Bo. He admits that he’s been delayed at the police station. She tells him that is it...this puts everything into perspective for her and she knows what he has to do. Frankie tells her that it isn’t Bo’s fault but she won’t listen.

Pat’s Spoilers
Courthouse: The judge starts the proceeding. Frankie and Hope are there – Bo and his lawyer aren’t. Maggie wonders where he is – Bo wouldn’t let the divorce go through without trying to stop it. Alice believes Bo is working on a plan to do just that. The judge calls a recess for ten minutes. If Bo isn’t there by then they will proceed without him. Hope wonders where he is. Frankie says he will be there to fight for his marriage. Patrick thinks he has given up. Hope says maybe he’s trying to make it easier on her. Patrick thinks Bo knows the marriage is over – after all Hope is having his baby now. Alice tells Patrick that he shouldn’t count Bo out just yet. After the break the judge says they will begin the proceedings. The judge is surprised that Hope wants the divorce without any conditions – no alimony. Frankie starts to speak but Hope wants to speak for herself. She doesn’t need anything from Bo – she can support herself. Bo agreed to give her the house – that’s all she wants. There is no reason to continue this marriage – she hopes the judge will grant the divorce. The judge says since Bo isn’t there they should be able to wrap this up. Billie enters and says that with the courts permission she would like to speak for Bo.
Hope doesn’t want to hear from Bo’s mistress. The judge asks Billie if Bo asked for her to speak on his behalf. She says no but next to Hope she knows Bo better than anyone else. Billie tells Hope that she really needs to hear what she has to say. Everyone in this courtroom knows that Bo deserves to be represented. Alice tells Hope that she should let Billie speak. Hope agrees. The judge tells Billie that she doesn’t have to take the stand. Billie wants to be sworn in – she insists. The judge agrees. Billie thinks that after Hope hears what she has to say she’ll change her mind about the divorce. Billie talks about Zack’s death. Bo was in the difficult position of protecting his daughter because she was driving his car. Hope blames Bo for not telling her the truth and Billie blames herself for asking him not to tell. She talks about the night that Bo and Hope had a terrible argument and Bo went to a bar. The bartender called her and she came and got Bo out of there. She checked them into a hotel – nothing happened between them. Hope reminds her that she is under oath. Billie is lying – she saw them in bed. Billie says you saw what I wanted you to see. I slept in a chair. In the morning when her daughter called to tell her that Hope was on her way she left the door ajar, undressed and crawled into bed with Bo so that Hope would think they spent the night together. To this day Bo has no idea this happened. She was too scared to tell Bo because he might turn against Chelsea and her. She’s not proud of what she did because that is why Hope left town and ended up getting involved with Patrick. Hope says she knows that Billie slept with Bo – he told her so. Billie said that was after you filed for a divorce. Hope says and I only did that because of the altered emails. Billie says the break-up would have never gotten this far if she hadn’t helped her daughter to break up their marriage. Billie says this has been eating her up inside. In his heart, Bo has never been unfaithful to her. He loves her as much today as he did when he married her. She knows he hurt very much but he only did that because he didn’t want his daughter to go to jail. He loves Hope and only her.
Billie says losing a child is a mother’s worse nightmare but it’s also a father’s. Bo will never forgive himself – she thinks they have both suffered enough. If she goes through with the divorce it will just cause them both more pain. Neither one of them will ever be happy with anyone else. She urges Hope to not give up on Bo or her marriage. The judge asks Hope if she still wishes to proceed with the divorce petition. Hope says after what I’ve just heard … the judge halts her and says a matter of the utmost urgency has come to her attention. She has to order a continuance. Maggie guesses that the continuance is Bo’s doing. Hope says why isn’t he here. Patrick offers to take Hope back to his place – he’ll make something to eat – she needs to keep her strength up for their baby. Alice tells Patrick to enjoy his dinner. She has the feeling that this will be his last evening with Hope.
Police Station: EJ and Kate walk in – Roman tells Kate they are working on finding Will. Kate tells him that her and EJ came to offer free air time on their newly acquired television station for an on air appeal for the safe return of Will. She wants to know if Bo is the one heading up the investigation. Roman tells him that Bo is working on a different case – Eve Michaels’ murder. EJ asks a few questions including ‘does Bo have a suspect’. Both Kate and Roman wonder why EJ is so interested. Roman asks EJ if he knew Officer Michaels. Insides Roman’s office, Bo, Tek and Abe are working on the Michaels’ case. Bo is frustrated – no one can find out what the nine digit number means. He believes that if they find the disk they find Eve’s murderer. He’s late for court – he’s running out of time to save his marriage. They need a break before Hope finalizes the divorce. Abe suggests that he tell her that Kate confessed to paying Eve to steal the disk. Bo says he can’t – Kate recanted her statement. Kate hates Hope – she won’t tell her the truth. Kate thinks that if his marriage is over he’ll go back to Billie – LOL – love when he says ‘like that is going to happen’ very sarcastically. Abe tells Bo that Roman can back him up. If Kate paid Eve to steal the disk than Bo couldn’t have taken it. Bo says to Hope this is open and shut – she needs irrefutable proof. Abe reminds Bo that he is running out of time. EJ sidesteps Roman’s question by saying you don’t really think that Kate had anything to do with this woman’s murder. Kate thanks EJ for his support. Roman says then they’re all in agreement that solving this case is very important. Back to Abe, Bo and Tek. Tek asks them if they’re still going under the assumption that the person causing trouble for the Brady’s is the same person that killed Eve. Bo thinks everything is tied together. If they find Will, they find Jack and Jen and the killer. Abe says and the disk. Tek wonders when it will all end. Bo says it will end with a psychopath behind bars where they belong.
Lexie shows up looking for Abe. Roman says he’s busy. Kate is surprised that Lexie knows EJ. EJ tells her they worked together on a project. He recently had a very enlightening conversation with Lexie. Lexie says and you made assumptions about me that aren’t true. EJ says he has a pretty good idea of what exactly is going on. Tek tells Bo and Abe that they are expecting a fax from the stores that sell the Italian made shoes. Abe suggests that Bo get to the courthouse. Bo won’t leave the fate of his marriage up to a judge. Abe says if he doesn’t show up that’s exactly what he’ll be doing. He should go just to show Hope how important their marriage is to him. Bo insists he can’t show up empty-handed – without proof he didn’t steal the disk he can’t save his marriage. He needs answers and he needs them now. Tek comes out of the office and sees Lexie and asks how she has been. She tells him that she has been busy. Abe comes out and says she has been busy getting back together with her husband. Roman clears the room so that Tek, Abe and Lexie can have some privacy. Roman goes into the office and asks Bo how it’s going. Bo has the fax from the show stores – with any luck the name of their killer is right there.
Lexie apologises to Tek for not telling him that Abe withdrew the divorce petition. They’re taking things slowly. Tek is surprised because for months Abe has been bad mouthing Lexie to anyone that listen even comparing her to her evil father and brother. Tek says and now you’re saying that you’re going to forgive and forget? Bo gets a call – it’s from Jack. Jack tells him that he and Jen were ambushed and dumped in the middle of nowhere. Jack tells him that they were investigating the Eve Michaels’ murder and they got a tip from an anonymous source. They know the make of the gun and they know who the killer is. The killer is … we don’t hear the name – Jack says they don’t have concrete proof but … the phone goes dead. Bo makes a call – he needs a search warrant ASAP. Abe tells Tek this is none of his business. Tek tells Lexie that if she wants to believe that Abe did a complete 180 – fine – but his cop instincts tell him that Abe is up to something. He doesn’t buy this for one minute. He tells Lexie to be careful. Abe and Roman come out of the office just as Kasares brings in the guy from the court house with a search warrant. Kate wants to know whose home they are violating now. Bo says none of your damn business – him and Kasares leave. Kate presses Roman for info on where Bo went. Roman tells her its police business. Kate asks if it’s about Eve’s murder. Roman doubts that he would tell Kate anything about it. EJ asks Roman if Kate is still a suspect. Roman finds it suspicious that the both of them are so interested in this case.
Jack & Jen: Jen tries to wake up Jack. Enid shoots again. Jen frantically calls out Jack’s name. Jack hasn’t been shot – he’s just a bit stunned. Jack wants them to get out of there – he doesn’t want to slow her down. Jen cuts in and tells him that the wacko is gone – they enter her cabin. Jack tells Jen if the woman comes back Jen has to get out of there. Jen wants him to call the police. They pick up the phone – there is someone talking on it. It’s a party line – the person on the line tells them to get off. Jack uses his officious voice and tells the woman to get off the line – it’s an emergency – a matter of life and death. The woman isn’t buying it – she has her timer – she has eight minutes and fifty two seconds left and she’s not getting off the line before that. Enid returns. She can’t believe she found the two of them back here – they pop up like damn jack-in-the boxes. She wants to know what they are doing her in their house. Jen sees some tabloids with UFO’s on the cover – she tells Enid that they are there to warn her. Jen starts describing a UFO landing. Enid asks them what can of a fool do you think I am.
Jack says that Jen was just making a joke when she suggested that spaceships were landing. Enid says everyone knows that spaceships only land in the dark. They must be here to steal some livestock. She can’t afford to lose her prize cow – Jessie. She’s off to do some alien hunting. She grabs the phone. Jack and Jen tell her that she doesn’t need to take the phone with her but Enid feels that if the aliens have her cow she’ll have to negotiate Jessie’s release. She leaves. Jack and Jen look for another phone. Jack feels that Enid never throws anything away. Jack finds one. Jen doesn’t think he’ll have any luck getting it to work. Jack assures Jen that he can fix this phone. He vows to get them out of there – he won’t let her down – this time he’s coming through for her. After the call to Bo Jen decides they should try and get home. They hear Enid returning so they take off. They end up outside a cave – Jack is reluctant to go in but Jen convinces him that he needs to rest – it’s dark. Inside Jen conveniently finds a lantern. The battery is weak but the lantern still works. They sit down. Jack looks around and says thanks to the Spectator’s lavish expense account they’ve stayed in motel’s worst than this. Jen asks him if this place doesn’t remind him of something. Jack says I thought you said you didn’t want to take any trips down memory lane. Jen says walking in this cave reminded her of when they made love for the first time.
Patrick’s: Bo is going through a closet. On the top shelf he finds a blanket – inside are a pair of Italian leather shoes, Size 11 with mud on them. He tells Kasares to bag the shoes and blanket. Bo continues searching and finds a safe. He asks for the lock pick kit – it’s a cheap model shouldn’t be hard to open. He does – inside he finds a gun that he guesses is the murder weapon and the missing surveillance disk. Bo says I’ve been waiting for you – Patrick says – what the hell are you doing in my house. Bo says my job. Turn around you know the drill. Bo places Patrick under arrest for the murder of Eve Michaels. Hope stares.
Preview: EJ to Kate – Patrick paid Eve for the disk and then killed her to keep her mouth shut. Kate agrees. Max to Frankie – I know Jack and Jennifer are going to come out of this alive and you’re going to get Jennifer back. Jen to Jack – I love you so much and I always will. Jack – I love you – now and forever. They kiss. Bo to Hope with Patrick looking on – Here’s your proof. This creep is the one you should have never trusted.

Pat’s Spoilers
Max’s Garage: Max comes into the office and notices that Abby is crying. She tells him that Jack and Jen are missing. Max wonders if … but then says no, Jen and Frankie are married. Abby says ‘not really’. Max says that Jack and Jen wouldn’t … Abby jumps in and says that is why she is so worried. Greasy hands and all Max gives Abby a comforting hug. Abby doesn’t want to hurt Max’s feelings but she wishes that Frankie had never come back to Salem – he’s just made everything confusing. Max reminds her that Jack may not have had a chance if Frankie hadn’t been there. Abby feels that at least they would have been a family now she’s afraid they never will be a family again. Max doesn’t think that Jack is just going to give up. He knows that Jack will do everything in his power to protect Jen. Frankie agrees. He came to check on how Abby is doing. She’s not doing so good. She leaves them alone. Max asks Frankie how he is holding up. Frankie is frustrated because there’s nothing more he can do. He’s got some private investigators looking for Jack and Jen. Max and Frankie talk a bit about Chelsea. Max is done believing in Chelsea. Max knows that Jack and Jen are going to come out of this alive and that Frankie will get Jennifer back. Frankie is not sure he’ll get Jennifer back. He’s been fooling himself. Jack is the only one who will ever have her heart. Abby asks him if he really means that. Frankie gets a call – her parents are alive. Max and Abby hug.
Jack & Jen: Jack asks Jen if she really thinks that this cave reminds her … he sputters and stutters but can’t get the words out. They banter back and forth finally Jack says that was a long time ago. A lot has changed, hasn’t it? Jen comments that Abby is all grown up. It’s hard to believe that Abby’s almost the age she was when they started working together. Where did the time go? Jack says it was all wasted by me. Jen says no – she has loved being married to him – the only time she hasn’t liked it was when they weren’t together. They’ve had a lot of adventures. Jen wonders where their next adventure will take them. Jack says out in the wilderness to get some supper. Jen is going with him but Jack convinces her to stay there while he goes and forages. Jack returns with roots and berries. Jen has the fire pit ready. Jack tries to start the fire using some flint … Jen tries to tell him she has matches that she took from Enid’s but of course Jack doesn’t let her talk. She finally hands him the matches. He starts the fire amid more bantering. They start talking about being on that train to nowhere in the dead of winter – flashback. Jack tells Jen to dig in (she’s a former girl scout so she’s the expert on what is edible). Jack reminds her that they don’t know how long they will be there and she has the best chance of survival. She tells him that someone will find them and they will both survive!
Jack reminds her that even if they get home there’s no guarantee that he is going to live. Jen has a really good feeling about the test results. She gets him to eat some berries. He tells her it’s the best meal he ever foraged. They almost kiss. Jack chokes … Jen performs the Heimlich manoeuvre. Jack makes a joke about a ‘choke’ berry. Jen was worried – she thought he was having a relapse. Jack says that once again Jen saved his life. Jack suggests that they get some rest – conserve their strength so they can find a way home tomorrow. Jack gives her his jacket for a pillow … he pulls up a rock for his. Jen has a flashback to when her and Jack made love for the first time. She notices that Jack can’t sleep either. He has a lot of things on his mind. Jen has been thinking about everything they’ve been through – all the experiences they have had. And here they are back where they started. She wonders if they are here because of fate. She can’t every get away from loving him – and she doesn’t want to – not ever. They kiss. Jen tells him that she loves him and she always will. He says he love her now and forever. They kiss … cut to the fire pit …
Police Station – Part 1: Kate tries to get information out of Roman. She is unsuccessful. EJ tells Kate that the police don’t have to tell them anything. Kate isn’t going anywhere because she was linked to Eve Michaels because of a silly evidence disk. She won’t leave until Bo brings the person in and she’s completely vindicated. Abe asks him why he’s so interested. EJ gives him the spiel that he and Kate are business partners and that now they are part of the media they have to get the information to the viewers. There are a few disparaging remarks about the name Kate and EJ chose for their communications company. Abe coldly asks Lexie why she’s hanging around. Lexie reminds him she came to see him – they were supposed to have dinner. Abe apologises. Lexie wonders about his tone – it was so suspicious. Tek comments that he doesn’t sound like a man that wants to take his wife back. Kate can’t believe that Abe would even consider taking Lexie back after the way she treated him. Lexie asks Kate who is she to question her – she’s done a lot of terrible things that they all know of and probably more that they don’t know about. EJ tries to play peacemaker. He’s sure they’ve all done things in their past they’re not proud of. Roman says even you? EJ tells them an amusing story that entertains them all (and me too … LOL).
Patrick’s: Patrick asks Bo again why he is there. Bo shows Patrick the search warrant. Patrick states he did not kill Eve Michaels – he never met her. Hope asks Bo what kind of game he is playing. Bo insists it’s not a game. He pulls out the shoes and then the gun. Patrick tells Hope he never seen that stuff before. Bo scoffs and asks him why there was evidence tying him to the murder in his closet. Bo tells Hope – here’s your proof. This creep is the one you should have never trusted. Patrick repeats that he hasn’t seen that stuff before. If he was the murderer why would he put the stuff in his closet? Bo says then who put it there? Your mother, Billie … Chelsea. Hope says Chelsea could have done it. Patrick points out the obvious – he doubts Chelsea would kill Eve and make her getaway wearing Sz 11 shoes. Bo says forensics will give them the evidence they need. Right now he has enough to arrest him which he proceeds to do.
Police Station – Part 2: Bo hauls Patrick into the room where Roman, Tek, Abe, Lexie, Kate and EJ are. Abe asks Bo if he got everything he needs. Bo says yes. Kate can’t believe that Patrick killed Eve Michaels. Patrick claims his innocence again. Bo tells Kasares to take the evidence to forensics and to not take his eyes off of it until they sign for it. Hope says that they won’t find Patrick’s fingerprints on any of it. Abe, Roman and Tek take Patrick into Roman’s office. Bo says I always knew you were no good now everyone is going to know it. Hope is talking to Lexie about the divorce hearing. Hope tells Kate that Billie testified – she admitted to helping Chelsea break up her marriage. The discussion leads to talk of Patrick’s arrest. Kate can’t think of any motivation Patrick would have to kill Eve. Hope says that he swears he is innocent. Lexie asks her if she believes him. Back in Roman’s office Bo is asking Patrick for a plausible explanation of how that stuff ended up in his closet. Patrick doesn’t have an explanation but he thinks Bo might. Bo says you’re accusing me of planting the evidence. Patrick wants his lawyer. Bo says you are the one that tried to set me up but you failed. Bo vows that Patrick will get the death penalty.
Roman and Abe tell Bo to calm down and they send him out of the room. Kate asks if Patrick confessed. Bo tells them this is not a coffee shop – he wants them to leave. EJ tells Kate they should go – they need to call in the story to their news editor. Lexie leaves as well. Hope tells Bo she thought they would be divorced by now. Bo says he knows it must be hard for her to know that the father of her child … Hope stops him and tells him not to go there. Patrick is innocent until proven guilty. Bo thinks that Patrick is going to try and convince her that he set up him – Hope doesn’t believe that, does she. Hope just stares. He says that Officer Kasares was with him the whole time – he followed the law to the letter. He would never set up an innocent person to take a murder rap no matter what is at stake. She has to know that about him – Hope stares. Hope doesn’t know what to think. Bo tells her that Jack and Jen gave him the tip … he fills her in on what Jack and Jen did and that they are missing. He assures her that he has people out looking for them. Abe places the call to Patrick’s lawyer. Tek takes his turn at harassing Patrick. Bo gets a call. He tells Hope that they have a preliminary fingerprint report – they should have some answers real soon. Roman takes Patrick down to booking. Patrick proclaims his innocence to Hope – he’s the father of her baby. He wouldn’t do anything to hurt her or the baby. The forensics report is delivered. Bo asks Hope to come into the office with him. He shows her the disk. He tells her that he didn’t want to say anything until he had proof – he didn’t want her to have to take anything on faith considering her faith in him has been shaken. This is the disk he was accused of stealing – he found it at Lockhart’s. The cover wasn’t put on the disk until after it was entered into evidence therefore there shouldn’t be any prints on it unless they handled it after they took it from the evidence room. There was a positive fingerprint match to Patrick Lockhart. So there’s your proof. I didn’t steal the disk. Lockhart was the one manipulating people, not me.
Dune: Kate and EJ discuss Patrick’s arrest. Kate believes that Bo needed the evidence disk to prove to Hope that he didn’t steal it … EJ jumps in and says that you think Patrick paid Eve for the disk than killed her to make sure she didn’t talk. That is what Kate thinks. EJ thinks they are missing something. Kate doesn’t think there is a piece missing – it all fits together perfectly. EJ tells Kate that is what the problem is – it’s too perfect. There’s more to this than meets the eye.
Preview: Bonnie (looking up) – I know this is wrong but I’m doing it for my kid. She starts typing. Shawn to Mimi – There’s no easy way to say this but your brother Patrick – he was arrested for the murder of a police officer Eve Michaels. Bo to Hope – I have never stopped loving you. Hope – And I’ve never stopped loving you. Jen to an unconscious Jack – Jack you die on me, I’ll never forgive you. Do you hear me?

Pat’s Spoilers
Jack & Jen: Jack & Jen bask in the afterglow. Jen tells him that all the time he was gone this is what she missed the most – being this close to him. Jack says when things were at their worst he would think about this – being close. He tells her about all the things he thought about, the cave, Mrs. Claus and so on. Jen needs to know that they will never be apart again – she needs to know that they will always be together. They cuddle by the fire. Basking for the second time – Jack smokes an imaginary cigarette. Jen says this is as good as it gets. Jack asks her ‘what about your second husband’. She married the guy. When they go home he’s just going to be the guy that broke her heart. He could still die. Both he and Frankie will be dying for an answer – who will she choose? Jen feels very guilty – Frankie is the most selfless man she knows. Jack says he’s perfect. Jen insists that Jack is perfect for her. Jack is her one and only true love. She thanks him for tonight because she feels like herself again for the first time in a long time. They kiss. They talk about the fact that it’s getting colder. Jen wishes the search party would get there but she does like spending this time alone with him. Jack would like to get back to Salem. He wants to hug her, Abby and Jack Jr and stay hugging them until the end. Jen says she knows it’s not the end. He’s not dying.
Jack does a mock interview of Jen holding a stick of wood as a microphone. He wants to know when she became psychic. She says that when they were making love her heart told her when they were making love – that is how she knows he is in remission. Jack asks her how does she know she can trust her heart. She tells him that he has to have faith. He says when they’re eighty and pulling out their dentures. She tells him that faith is believing in something that you can’t know or see. Jack says faith has no place … he keels over. Jen urges him to wake up. She says don’t die on me – if you do, I’ll never forgive you. Jen covers him with his jacket. She hears a helicopter. She runs out waving her arms and ends up in the spotlight of the copter. Jen lead the rescuers to Jack – it can’t be too late. She urges them to hurry.
Pier – Part 1: Shawn calls the PD to find out if the DNA results are back. They aren’t. He then says no, tell him I hung up already. Too late, Bo comes on the line. He tells Shawn they made an arrest for Eve Michael’s murder. Shawn wants to know what that has to do with him. Bo tells him it will affect them, Mimi is going to take this pretty hard when she finds out who was arrested. Shawn asks his dad if he has solid evidence – he’s not exactly objective when it comes to Patrick. Bo tells him they got a lead, a search warrant and found very incriminating evidence at Lockhart’s place. Shawn wants to know how his Mom is taking it. Bo says if you’re worried about her safety don’t be, she’s here with me. Shawn comments that Bo is getting everything he wants, the divorce didn’t go through and Patrick is behind bars. Bo tells him this is not a happy situation for anyone. Shawn says he has to go and find Mimi. She’s going to take the news very hard.
Hospital: Bonnie pounces on Mimi as soon as she arrives telling her they have work to do today. She found out that the police sent the samples to the lab in the hospital. They have to get there before the lab tech checks Claire’s DNA against Shawn’s. Mimi doesn’t want to. Bonnie tears Mimi down. Mimi is upset – according to her mother if she loses Shawn she’s either going to kill herself or drown – that’s very enlightened of her. Bonnie doesn’t want to hear any women’s lib bull – a woman needs a man – it says so in the bible. Mimi needs Shawn. Mimi says what if Shawn is the one that needs me. Bonnie says you can’t ask Shawn to choose between you and his children – you’ll lose. She tells Mimi they need to get to the lab. Outside the lab Mimi insists that she isn’t going to do this. Bonnie says she doesn’t have to do anything she’ll do all the work. Mimi says it will be still be a lie. Bonnie says how could it be - you aren’t going to know what I’m doing. Mimi says it’s still a lie of omission. She had the chance to tell Shawn the truth so many times – a lie of omission is the same as lying to his face. Bonnie insists that she is going to save her marriage for her – when Mimi protests, Bonnie tells her to shut her pie-hole – sigh. Bonnie tells Mimi to distract the lab tech so she can get inside.
Bonnie signals for Mimi to distract the lab technician. LOL – he’s one strange looking dude! Love the accent – both of their accents in fact! Mimi does her best femme fatale impression. Mimi plays the guy telling him she wants to be a lab technician. Shawn arrives. The nurse recognises him and asks him how he is. He asks the nurse if she seen Mimi – he has some bad news to give her. She was coming to see her mother Bonnie Lockhart. The nurse says she saw them both get into the elevator going down. Mimi continues engaging Nikita in conversation while Bonnie sits at the computer. She knows this is wrong but she’s doing it for her kid. She starts typing away. Nikita offers to take Mimi to dinner – he touches her shoulder and Mimi shrinks away. Shawn grabs the guy and asks him what he thinks he’s doing. Bonnie dives under the desk. Shawn asks Nikita if he always puts his hands on married women. Nikita asks – how was I supposed to know she was married. Shawn says by the ring on her finger – in this country we wear rings when we get married. Shawn lets him go and he and Mimi walk away arm in arm. A dejected Nikita goes back to his desk and phones the PD and tells them he knows he late – he’s speeding up the process – he’ll have the answer soon. Shawn is still grumbling about Nikita when they get off the elevator. He thinks the guy is a jerk. He wants to know what Mimi was doing down there. She says she was looking for her mom. Shawn says the nurse told me she saw you and your mother get in the elevator together. Mimi says she was with her but Bonnie got called to help with a patient. She got tired of waiting for her so she went to look for her – that’s when the guy started hitting on her.
Shawn wants to go and find Bonnie. Mimi says no, you’re here and I’d be just as happy to go home with you. Shawn has some news and he’d like to tell them both at the same time. Mimi tells him just to tell her now. Shawn says there is no easy way to say this. Your brother Patrick was arrested for the murder of police officer Eve Michaels. Bonnie is still huddled under the desk while Nikita makes a call to Sergei talking about the sexy chick … Bonnie stifles a sneeze. Mimi tells Shawn that Patrick is not a killer – someone obviously made a mistake. She says no offence but it’s not a big leap to think your dad made up the charges to get my brother away from your mom. Today was the divorce hearing and your dad would do anything to stop it. Shawn admits that his dad has a habit of messing with the truth. She could be right. Mimi feels that Patrick was just getting it all together. A new job at the Salem PD, a baby on the way and he’s crazy about Shawn’s mom. What if he loses it all? Bonnie’s cell phone rings. Nikita asks her why she is hiding under his desk – is she a spy? Bonnie says ‘they’re after me.’ Nikita helps her up and then tells her to go … she leaves. Nikita says I tell no one than zips his lips … LOL! Bonnie answers. She asks Mimi why are you calling. She only had time to press a few keys. She doesn’t know if the change went through. Mimi says I’m with Shawn. We need to get to the police station – it’s Patrick. Bonnie asks if he is hurt. All Mimi says is that he needs them.
Police Station: Hope says that it sounds like Shawn believes him about Patrick. Bo says everyone is going to believe it with the evidence they have. Bo asks her if she wants to read the preliminary report. She doesn’t. He says he will read it for her. The only prints on the disk were Eve’s and Patrick’s. Hope says that only proves that he handled the disk at some point. Bo says yes, after it left the evidence room. Hope says that doesn’t prove he’s guilty of murder. Bo admires her loyalty but the bottom line is that his finger prints aren’t on the disk. Does she still think he stole the disk to keep Chelsea out of jail? Bo (wearing gloves) removes the disk from the case and puts it into a portable DVD player. Hope says she heard that Roman found a disk at Eve’s apartment maybe this one is the same. Bo plays it. He says it’s pretty grainy. Hope says she can see it just fine – it’s very difficult for her to watch. She tells Bo she is sorry, she misjudged him. Bo is sorry too – about everything but mostly about letting Chelsea drive. He talks about Zack then. It’s very emotional. He talks about telling stories mostly about super heroes but his favourite story was of the three of them sailing far far away. Hope says now he is far far away alone. Since Zack died she’s had a hard time trusting those close to her. Bo says especially me but now you know I didn’t steal the disk or write those emails saying I wanted a divorce.
Hope tells him there is more. Billie showed up in court – Billie had something to say that she felt would change her (Hope’s) mind about the divorce. She tells Bo what Billie confessed to doing. She had never told Bo about seeing him in bed with Billie the day she left Salem. Billie knowingly helped Chelsea to break up their marriage not because she wanted Bo back but she wanted Bo on Chelsea’s side so he wouldn’t testify against her. Bo is angry. Hope says it took a lot of courage for Billie to come clean today. Bo isn’t so forgiving. Billie had a lot of time to tell the truth and she didn’t. Hope says she didn’t want you to turn against Chelsea. Bo says Chelsea did a good job of that on her own. He can’t believe that little monster is his child. Everything that has happened – all the lies and misunderstandings – one thing hasn’t changed – he has never stopped loving her. She says she never stopped loving him either. He asks her what is going on – why aren’t they together. Hope tells the judge asked her if Billie’s statement had changed her mind but she didn’t get a chance to answer. Bo asks her what her answer was going to be. She doesn’t know. She doesn’t know anything any more. She can’t think straight. She grimaces in pain and clutches her stomach. Bo helps her to sit down.
She says she is alright. There is a very heartfelt speech from Bo talking about how the loss of Zack. He’s been thinking about this for a long time. A part of them just can’t let go of the pain and anger because they’re afraid they would have to accept their little boy is gone – that they will never see him again. Hope cries. Bo would do anything to bring Zack back. She knows that. Bo feels that by being apart they are making things worse. They need to find a way to remember their son with joy. The memory or their son is wrapped up in all these negative feelings (Bo is crying as well) and he doesn’t want to remember him that way. There has to be a way to remember with joy and honour and they can get here if they’re brave enough to let it happen. Hope doesn’t know how she can let go of the anger. Zack’s death left a big hole in her heart and sometimes she thinks the anger fills it. She’s knows that is not healthy but she doesn’t know what else to do. Bo suggests that they both go to therapy. Hope says she would pay to see Bo Brady in therapy. Bo says he would do anything for her. Hope says even raise another man’s child. He says yes. Hope isn’t going to convict Patrick … Bo stops and tells her that this isn’t about Patrick – it’s about the two of them. They love each other – that will never change. She is his life – let him prove to her how much he loves her. Just come back to him. She tells him she’s not ready. A lot happened today – she needs time to think. Bo says alright. When you feel like working things out you know how to find me. He walks out.
Zack’s Grave: This is a very emotional scene. Hope tells him she misses him – she can’t believe he’s really gone. She misses the way he made her laugh. She doesn’t laugh any more. What is wrong with her – why can’t she forgive his father. She knows it’s wrong but she can’t let go of all that anger. She tells him that it turns out that his daddy didn’t do a lot of the things that made her so angry for such a long time. It should make a difference but she doesn’t know if it does. His dad gave his daughter the keys to the car even when he promised he wouldn’t. If he hadn’t … but he did … she cries. He wasn’t driving but he’s just as guilty and she doesn’t know if she can ever get past that. She asks God ‘what am I supposed to do – please tell me.’
Pier – Part 2: Bo stops and pulls out his wallet and removes a picture of Shawn, Hope, Zack and himself. He stares at it and then looks up to the sky.
Preview: Patrick to Tek – I had nothing to do with that woman’s death but I need you to help me prove it. Frankie (crying) touches Jen’s face and nods. Jen says goodbye. Lexie to Jen – I’ll check him out and we’ll see. Just try and stay calm, okay. Jen – Lexie, please. Lexie, don’t let him die, please. Mimi to Shawn (Bonnie and Abe are standing with her) – What does it say? Shawn – I’m ... I’m Claire’s father.

Pat’s Spoilers
Police Station – Part 1: Frankie asks Abe where Jack and Jen are – he heard they were rescued. Abe says that Jack was unconscious so they were airlifted to the hospital. On his way out Frankie runs into Bonnie, Mimi and Shawn. Shawn tries to talk to him but Frankie tells him he doesn’t have time. Bonnie feels the keystone cops bungled another case. All three of them descend on Abe talking at once. Abe stops them and says one at a time. Bonnie states that they have the wrong person locked up – the real killer is out there laughing at them. Abe informs Bonnie that Patrick has been booked and a call placed to his lawyer. Bonnie doesn’t want any pro-bono lawyer. Abe informs them the arraignment is set for tomorrow morning. Shawn asks Abe what evidence do they have. Abe says they found incriminating evidence when they searched his home. Bonnie says his home is my home, who gave you permission to search. Abe informs her they had a search warrant. The evidence was found in the front closet. Shawn says that makes sense. If I killed someone I’d leave all the evidence in my closet. And this hotshot detective that found the evidence was my dad. Abe says that the arrest was by the book. Shawn asks him how can he know – was he there. Abe says he wasn’t but one of his cops was. Bo did not plant evidence and he’s surprised that Shawn would even suggest it. Shawn says we all know that he has something against Patrick. He hates him – he always has. Abe says than explain how Patrick’s fingerprints were found on crucial evidence – how do you think your father managed that. Bonnie wants to take her son home – who does she have to see to get him released. Abe says there is no way Patrick will be going home.
Abe explains that the arraignment isn’t until tomorrow. Bonnie feels that’s all the more reason Patrick should come home – he’ll look fresh and relaxed when facing the judge. Abe says it’s not possible. Bonnie says then we’ll wait right here until after the arraignment. Abe says that Patrick is charged with first degree murder – the judge will most likely deny bail. Bonnie wants to know what happened to innocent until proven guilty. Mimi tries to calm Bonnie down. Shawn steps in and asks Abe if it’s possible for Mimi and Bonnie to see Patrick. Abe says only if Bonnie calms down. Bonnie stays silent so Abe tells them to wait here, he’ll get someone to bring Patrick to the visiting room. He knows what they are going through and he is sorry.
Police Cells: Tek comes to tell Patrick that his arraignment is set for tomorrow. Patrick says good that’s one step to getting out of here. Tek says no that’s one step closer to death row. Patrick protests – he’s innocent. Tek feels that Patrick played him for a fool once he won’t let him do it again. Patrick asks Tek – what’s my motive? He’s been busting his butt to turn around his life so he could be a good father to his unborn baby. He swears on that baby’s life that he didn’t kill Eve Michaels – he’s innocent and he needs Tek to help him prove it. Patrick swears that he is being set up. Tek tells him that if he’s trying to convince him Bo Brady set him up he’s wasting his time. Patrick says Bo’s wife is having my baby – he would like to see me in prison but fine, maybe it’s not him. Maybe it’s somebody I used to work with thinking I’m the perfect fall guy. Tek lists all the evidence they have against him. Patrick reminds Tek that he was the one that gave him the lead about the Italian shoes. Would he do that if he had a pair of them in his closet? He’s a lot of things but he’s not stupid. He did not kill Eve. Tek says it’s not my job to prove your innocence – it’s your lawyer’s job to do that. Patrick knows but his lawyer is going to need of team of lawyers and investigators and she doesn’t have that. He needs Tek to do it – he’s desperate. Eve Michaels may have done something wrong but she was still a cop and she deserves justice, Will Roberts is still missing – Patrick thinks those are compelling reasons for Tek to find out who is behind all of this. He asks Tek if he thinks that he would do something that would prevent him from ever seeing his kid. Tek agrees to poke around not because he is buying Patrick’s story but because he thinks it’s worth investigating.
Hospital: Lexie rushes to attend to Jack when they arrive. Lexie asks Jen several questions trying to determine what could have happened. Jen asks Lexie to please not let him die. Abby arrives at the hospital – she was so worried. She asks about Jack. When she finds out he’s unconscious she says she can’t take it. Jen calms her down. Abby asks her mom ‘where were you?’ Jen fills her in on the story they were working on for the Spectator and everything that happened. Abby thinks it’s great that they teamed up again to work on a story. Abby is worried that Jack is not in remission. Lexie comes out and tells them she has news. Jack is awake. She explains to them why Jack lost consciousness. Abby wants to know if his disease is back. Lexie has some news for Jack about that – she tells them to come with her. She takes them to the cubicle Jack is in. Lexie tells them that Jack is in remission. They’re all very happy – love Jack’s reaction … LOL! Lexie says all you have to do is figure out how you’re going to spend the rest of your life. Jack says he already knows that – he hugs Jen and Abby.
Lexie clears Jack to go home – she gives him last minute instructions. Frankie arrives. Jen says they’re sorry for worrying him. Jack says they’re fine. Frankie can see that. Abby says if it wasn’t for Frankie no one would have known they were missing. He called the police. Jack tells Frankie he’s in remission. Frankie is thrilled for him. Jen says you made it happen and she hugs him. Jack thanks Lexie for the good news. Jack tells Frankie that he owes him everything. Abby apologises to Frankie. All he did was try to make her mom and the rest of them happy and she acted like a spoiled brat. She asks if they can start over and be friends. They hug. Jack asks Abby to wheel him out. Jen says she will be down in a few minutes. Frankie won’t let Jack get away that easily. Jack gets out of the wheelchair and they hug – it’s a very emotional scene. The goodbye scene that follows between Frankie and Jen that follows is very well done. Billy Warlock was phenomenal – oh the tears! Mere words won’t do it justice – you need to watch it. A short synopsis – Frankie knows what she is going to say. He knows she is going back to Jack. She tells him he deserves someone that can give him her whole heart, something she couldn’t do.
Frankie (with his head down) runs into Lexie. Lexie can see how upset Frankie is – she is so sorry. Frankie knew what he was up against – they both knew this was a possibility if Jack went into remission. He’s going to give them some time at the house alone and then go and pack up his things. Lexie asks him where he’s going to go. He doesn’t know. He just might spin the globe and point his finger and head in that direction. This part of his life is over. It’s time to move on. Lexie envies him. He’s independent – nothing tying him down – free to go wherever he wants, do what he wants – there is no one to answer to. She talks about how she at times feels trapped. She has her job, her mom, her son – she loves being a mom but … Frankie asks her about Abe. Lexie tells him that Abe says he wants to make their marriage work. Frankie asks her if she wants to get back together with him. She thought she wanted that now she’s not so sure. She feels that Abe is holding something back from her. Frankie says he’s sorry. He hopes things work out between the two of them. Lexie apologises for changing the subject - they were talking about him. He says it helped take his mind off things. She hopes that wherever he winds up he finds the happiness he deserves.
Police Station – Part 2: Patrick visits with Mimi and Bonnie. Mimi tells him that Shawn wants to help too. She tells him that Shawn thinks Bo set him up. Patrick is surprised that Shawn thinks that. He tells them that if he finds out Bo did set him up he will commit murder. Shawn is pacing. Abe returns. Abe asks him how he’s doing. Shawn says he’s alright. Abe knows that he has a lot on his mind but does he really think that his father would set up Patrick. Shawn says it wouldn’t surprise him. Abe says that Bo is an honourable man. Shawn sarcastically responds ‘if you say so.’ Abe gets a call – the lab is sending the paternity results by messenger. Patrick appreciates that they both came by but he’s fine. He asks if they seen Hope – she was with him when Bo arrested him. She said she was going to come and see him but she hasn’t. Maybe she thinks he’s guilty. Bonnie thinks it because it’s been a long day for her – the divorce couldn’t have been easy on her. Patrick informs her that Hope is not divorced and tells her why. Bonnie thinks Bo paid off the judge when no one was watching. Patrick says Bo wasn’t at court – he was busy gathering evidence against him. Bonnie is ready to go after Bo … both Mimi and Patrick stop her. Mimi tells Bonnie for once in her life just listen to them and not make things worse than they already are. Abe works, Shawn paces. Shawn hopes that this time they nail Chelsea for good – not let her off the hook. Abe says has anyone ever told you that you’re a lot like your father. Shawn doesn’t want to hear that. Abe says you’re getting yourself all worked up just like him – he has to learn to put things in perspective and not let his anger get the better of him. Shawn is just saying that if Chelsea is responsible for the embryo switch and the false DNA report she has to pay. Abe says if she did that she will pay but Shawn is jumping the gun. Shawn doesn’t share the same faith in the law that Abe does. Abe asks Shawn if he would prefer to see the DNA results alone. Shawn wants Bonnie and Mimi there because he knows what they are going to stay. It’s going to confirm that Philip is Claire’s father and Chelsea is going to be locked up for good.
Abe comes in and tells Bonnie and Mimi that time is up. Mimi asks if they can have a few more minutes. Abe is sure she’ll want to be with her husband when he gets the DNA results. Bonnie blurts out that she wasn’t through … Abe asks her what she means. Bonnie says she wasn’t through visiting Patrick. Mimi drops her purse. She says everything is going to be alright. Shawn makes a call to his mom to check in. He watches as a cop signs for an envelope. It’s the DNA results. Abe goes inside his office – Bonnie stops Mimi – she really doesn’t think she had time to change the results – they could be in trouble. Mimi says there is nothing they can do now – whatever happens happens. Abe tells Shawn he should be the first to read it. Mimi says wait – why don’t we take it home and read it in private. Shawn thinks they should open it now – they could use some good news. Shawn looks at the pages. The first one is just a bunch of numbers – he doesn’t know they mean. He looks at the other page. Mimi asks him what it says. Shawn says the report that Chelsea left in my hospital room is accurate. I’m Claire’s father. Bonnie hugs Mimi.
Devereaux Home: They arrive home. Abby says this is the best day of her life. Her dad is in remission – her parents are back together – she’ll never complain again. The phone rings. It’s Harold. Jack tells Jen that Harold offered him the job of London Bureau chief. He’s been holding the job open waiting for Jack to get better. He also offered Jen the job of Chief European correspondent based in London. Jen says this has been a dream of theirs. They talk about other trips to Europe – this time it’s different – they’re together. Abby is very proud of them. She tells them they have to do it. Jack feels like he just got his life back and now he’s going to pack up and move to London. What about Abby? Jen says she’s about to start Salem U for her to go to London… Abby doesn’t want to go to London. She’ll stay in the dorm or with Aunt Maggie or Gram. Jack says it sounds like she’s growing up. Jack and Jen talk for a bit … after a little bit of fun talk Jack and Jen decide to go. Jack says whenever your mother and I go somewhere we always end up in trouble so all I can say is God Save The Queen.
Preview: Bo to Kayla – Go after Steve. Fight for him like I’m fighting for Hope. Kayla – Because we’re both Bradys, right? Bo – That’s right. Kayla – ‘Cause Mom says Bradys don’t give up, right? Hope to Jen – Because I’m really ready to move on with my life. Jen – Good, good. Just bring Bo with you. Jack to Abby – That’s not the greatest thing I ever did, you are. Pat’s Spoilers
Devereaux Home: Abby is packing a suitcase with all of Jack Jr’s favourite things. Jack comes down with a heavy suitcase. Abby says he’s in remission but he has to take things slow. Jack picks up Jen and twirls her around – nothing will slow them down now. The doorbell rings – its Jo and Vern. Jo says how you can do this to me – how can you leave? Jack says drolly – nothing except guilt. LOL! Steve arrives next. Jack is glad he is here. Steve infers that Jo would have slapped him up one side and then the other if he didn’t show up. Jo hugs Steve and calls him Baby – LOL – Steve looks so uncomfortable. Jen says she is going upstairs to get JJ – Jo and Abby go with her. Steve gives Jack a pipe that he picked up a flea market – he thought Jack might need it in the land of tea and crumpets. Steve says you’re really going then. Jack says yes but of course he wouldn’t be going anywhere if it wasn’t for Steve. Steve says he was in the right place at the right time, dumb luck. Jack isn’t so sure – it seems like every time they get torn apart something brings them back together. Steve admits that it does feel right in a weird kind of way – you and me. Jack agrees. He tells Steve that Jo, Stephanie and Kayla could all feel right too – just give it some time.
Brady Pub: Kayla tells Bo that Jack and Jen are leaving for London tonight – isn’t that great. Bo says yes, unless you’re Frankie. Kayla feels that Frankie will be alright. They all knew that things would work out for Jack and Jen in the end. Kayla asks Bo if things are looking up for him and Hope. Bo says not really. Kayla doesn’t understand why – he proved that he didn’t steal the evidence disk. Bo says they have a lot of things to work out. Bo brings up Steve and Billie. Kayla says that Bo has every right to be upset with Billie but she can’t blame Billie for what happened with Steve. Steve doesn’t want to be with her – it’s just that simple. Bo says that once Steve gets his memory back he’ll want to pick things up where they were left off. Unfortunately for him Hope remembers every thing he ever did. Kayla says he will have to give Hope some time – they are meant to be together. Bo agrees but Hope is pregnant with Lockhart’s baby. That complicates things. The more complicated things get the less of a chance that they’ll work things out.
Bo and Kayla talk a little bit more about Frankie. Bo doesn’t think it will be easy for him to move on. Kayla says she tried to move on without Steve but she couldn’t. Bo says when I think about a life without Hope … at least he got rid of Lockhart. Kayla asks him if he thinks that Patrick really killed that cop. Bo says he’s known that Patrick was dangerous from the beginning. He’s sure he’s done a lot more than just killing Eve. Kayla thinks it must be crazy for Hope thinking the father of her baby could be a murderer. Bo says she doesn’t have to go through this alone. He’s told her that but she’s not ready yet. Kayla urges him to make his move if he thinks he has a good shot. Bo wishes he knew where he stood with Hope. He’s done what she asked but he doesn’t know if it’s made any difference. Kayla says maybe you just have to give her time to sort it out. Bo says when he looks in her eyes something is missing. It’s not just Zack – she doesn’t trust me and he doesn’t know if she ever will. Kayla says once you lose trust it’s hard to get it back. The subject turns back to Steve and Billie. Kayla says how can I be jealous – he doesn’t even remember me. Bo tells her that Steve is going to be at Jack and Jen’s party. She says she isn’t going. She tries to make excuses. Bo says you’re a coward – you used to go after what you wanted. That’s the woman Steve fell in love with. Bo tells her to go after Steve and fight for him like he’s fighting for Hope. Kayla says because we’re Brady’s and Brady’s never get up. She laughs and says they have a party to get to.
Alice’s house: Hope and Maggie are putting on the finishing touches on all the decorations for the going away party. (Love the London banner … LOL!) Hope wishes it wasn’t a going away party. Maggie says they should think of it as a Jack is in remission and Jack & Jen are departing on the adventure of a lifetime party. Hope wouldn’t mind moving to London – starting over. They get excited talking about the possibility of Jack and Jen being transferred all over Europe. Hope is happy for Jack and Jen but she hates saying goodbye. Maggie brings Hope some ginger-ale and crackers. Hope doesn’t remember feeling this sick with her other pregnancies. Maggie is really sorry about what’s happening with Patrick. Hope says she could be carrying a murderer’s baby. The Patrick she knows is gentle, kind and supportive. He wants this baby so much. She goes on to say there is so much evidence – someone else could have planted it. Bo doesn’t think so. Maggie says maybe you should trust him. Hope says she can’t, not yet. Maggie can see that she wants to. Hope says what she wants is to be able to look at Bo and not see Zack, not feel that night every single time she looks at him. She doesn’t want to feel that pain in her heart anymore. She wants things to be the way they used to be. It’s not possible anymore. Maggie thinks anything is possible. Just look at Jack and Jen – miracles can happen.
Everyone that was at Jack and Jen’s arrives at Alice’s. Maggie tells Jen that Lucas is sorry that he can’t be there. There’s still no word about Will. Alice is baking stuff for them to take on the plane. Jen says it’s beginning to feel real. She thanks Maggie for letting Abby live with her. Maggie says to Jo – you must be so proud. Jo starts crying and hugs Jack again … LOL! Jen talks to Hope – she apologises because their investigation ended up in Patrick’s arrest. She couldn’t believe it when they found the evidence but it was right there in black and white. Hope says that Patrick swears he’s innocent. Jen points out that Bo found the murder weapon in his house. Hope says that Patrick denies that it his gun. Jen says but it’s registered in his name, how can he explain that? Hope admits he can’t – it doesn’t look good. Jen is happy she is safe and she thinks that things will work out the way they are meant to. They hug and declare that they will miss each other. Hope says I’m going to book a flight tonight to come and visit you. Jen says good, bring Bo with you.
Alice joins the festivities. Jen gives Hope a donut as a peace offering. She shouldn’t have put her on the spot about Bo. Hope says sooner or later she has to figure out what she is going to do. Jen tells her that she has to figure out what she wants. Hope says you know what I want - it’s never going to happen – Zack’s not coming back. She is having Patrick’s baby. Nothing will ever be the same. Jen says that she and Bo are the same. Circumstances may change but people don’t. Look at her and Jack – they have been through some of the most unbelievable stuff but they’re here together. Hope can have that with Bo if that is what she wants. Jack sits next to Jo and asks if she is okay now. Jo says you said I could come 4 times a year, right. Jack thinks it was 2. Vern says I think you said 5 – LOL! Jo says they will be there for Thanksgiving. Jack doesn’t think they celebrate Thanksgiving in England. Maggie says it’s time for presents. Jen says you don’t know how much I’ll miss you. Maggie says remember no tears – this is a happy time. Jen hugs her and tells her that when she a little girl she thought Maggie was the most beautiful woman in the world. And now she knows she is but her beauty is not just on the outside – it’s on the inside – that’s where her real beauty is. They hug again. Jo starts crying. Jack says what happened to no more tears.
Jen thanks Hope for the international calling card – now she can call home on her. Abby says you should have got me one – I’ll be calling everyday to check in. Aunt Hope just happens to have one for Abby as well. Jack tells Abby in addition to all the reports on her great grades – he wants her to keep them up on all her boyfriends. On second thought – cancel that – no boyfriends for her. Abby says you can’t be serious. They banter. The doorbell rings. Steve goes to answer it. Kayla and Bo are there. Bo asks if they can come in. Steve says it’s not his house and lets them in. Steve tells Kayla that he didn’t think she would be there. Kayla responds Jack is still my brother-in-law even if you don’t remember that we were married. It’s pandemonium as Hope is taking pictures of Jack and Jen wearing trench coats. Bo goes over to Alice and tells her it’s nice to see her. She says it’s nice to see you too and then raises her voice and says isn’t it Hope. Hope says yes it is. Hope thanks Bo for never giving up on Jack and Jennifer – for bringing them home safely. Jen and Jack come over – Jen hugs Bo. She tells him if he hadn’t sent people out to look for them Jack may not have made it. Jen says they can all count on him that’s why they love to have him in the family. Jack tells Bo that he’s making the rest of them look bad. Kayla says there’s nothing wrong with being dependable – women like dependable men. She looks at Steve.
Jo asks where Stephanie is. She’s away at a race but she sent a gift. It’s a book called American Survival Guide To Driving In England. Jack says he’s had enough with crashing cars and faking his death. It’s been done to death – really – LOL! The next time he goes it will be the real deal but it won’t be for a long time because he promised Abby that he would dance with her at her wedding. Jen says I guess you’ll have to let her have some sort of love life then. Jack says maybe in the distant future. Jo tells Abby that if she thinks her father is being overly protective just remember that she wasn’t able to be there for him when he was your age. Jack says he grew up thinking he knew what family was but he didn’t until he met you (Jo) and then he points out everyone else. He admits he had a hard time dealing with it but he got over it. Today he feels like the luckiest man in the world (a Lou Gehrig quote). Jack then gives a long speech … LOL! Bo crouches down by Alice. Jack says he never used to believe in destiny or fate but after a few near death experiences he does believe in fate. It was fate that brought him to the hospice where Steve found him. It was fate that brought him and Jennifer back together. That brought them all back together. Fate brought Steve back to them. Jack has to get Steve to come in the room – he’s standing in the doorway. Jack puts his arm around Steve saying fate brought him back so he (Jack) could have a happy ending or happy beginning. He, Jen and baby Jack are going to sail off – he stops and says no, that’s a Bo and Hope metaphor – they’re going to fly off to a bright new tomorrow – they’re going to have their happiness now. Jack tells Steve it’s his turn now. Kayla is right there. He tells Steve you can walk away from your happiness – you can waste all those years like I did but I’ll tell you right now you’ll regret it like I do.
Kayla talks to Steve – she thinks that was quite the speech Jack gave. Steve hopes that sentimental stuff doesn’t run in the family. Kayla says you don’t believe in happy endings. Steve says that Jack and Jen got theirs. Kayla asks if that is all he has to say. Steve says yeah and walks away. Hope and Jen talk – Jen feels Hope must have something to say about her and Bo. Hope starts to say Bo and I – Bo cuts in and says are destined to be together. Jen leaves the two of them alone. Bo takes his pinkie ring off and says Bo Brady, I was wondering if maybe we could spend the rest of our lives together. Hope says she needs time. Bo says the funny thing about time is you think you have plenty of it then one day you wake up and you find you’re half past the middle of your life. Hope says and you look back and wonder where it all went. Bo – or you look forward and wonder how you can make the most of it. Hope wishes she could look in a crystal ball. Bo says all you have to do is look into your heart. It will tell you everything you need to know. Jack says it’s almost time to go if they want to catch that plane.
Jen is hugging everyone – she doesn’t know how to say goodbye – she loves them all so much. She turns to Hope and takes her hands. She has known her for her whole life – they have shared a lot – laughter, ice cream, tears, cupcakes – they laugh. Her point is that nothing has ever come between them – not even the Atlantic. She’s not only her cousin but her very best friend – she loves her and she’s going to miss her very much. Hope hugs her and says she’s never going to say goodbye to her. She tells her she loves her and is going to miss her. She will come and visit and they will go shopping. Abby is in the entranceway by the door. Jack comes to her and asks her to dance. She says there is no music – he hums Always and they dance. He tells her she is so beautiful and smart. She knew that he and her mom belonged together even when they didn’t realise it. He promises her that they won’t let her down. When he was her age he was going to change the world – he was going to do his Jack Kennedy thing, then his Woodward and Bernstein thing … Abby tells him he’s a great reporter. Jack says that’s not the greatest thing he ever did is. She is. She is going to do amazing things – he just knows it. Jen says goodbye to Gram. She’s going to miss her the most. She has been there for her her whole life. She remembers when she came to live with her and Grandpa Tom – she gave them such a hard time. Alice says they didn’t think of it that way. Jen says when I stepped out of line I knew I’d being helping you bake donuts. What I realise now is that you were making memories for me, for all of us. You are the heart of this family. Every bit of love, every connection we have between us comes from you. Alice says one day your grandchildren and great grandchildren will make you feel the same way I feel today. It’s God gift to us. They both cry. Jen is going to miss her. Alice says she will be with her always. Jack says we have to go … he kisses Gram … they all rush out. Alice says goodbye my darling – until we meet again – she touches the picture of Tom.
Shawn & Mimi’s: Shawn is standing by the window. Mimi comes out of the bedroom. She thought when she woke up that this was all a bad dream. In real life you don’t find out that your brother was arrested for murder and your husband finds out he has a daughter with his ex on the same day - unless of course, it’s my life. She tells Shawn she waited for him until five – she guesses he couldn’t sleep. Shawn says no – he couldn’t wait for it to be morning so he could tell Belle and Philip that Claire is his daughter. Mimi brings Shawn some coffee. Shawn apologises to her (calls her ‘babe’ ahhh) – he’s been going through all this and he hasn’t asked how she is feeling. Mimi says what’s one more baby between old lovers. Shawn says we were just getting used to the embryo switch – this has to be such a shock to her knowing that Claire is his daughter although it makes sense if you think about it. His blood matched, Zack’s liver matched – it was right there in front of them the whole time. Mimi says but you and Belle were so sure you had never slept with each other. Shawn says it’s just weird that they never figured it out before. Shawn looks out the window and sees that Phil’s car is back – they must be home. Mimi asks if this means he’s going to tell them now. He says yes. She asks if she can come with him. He asks her if she is sure she wants to. She does. They kiss and he tells her that he loves her.
The Kiriakis loft: The family returns from the fair. Philip is carrying her and kissing Claire. Phil can’t believe she’s getting to be such a big girl. Belle says wait until she’s 16. Phil kisses Claire and says she will always be his little girl. Phil feed Claire. Belle pulls out a picture of them at the fair. Phil thinks that they should have a portrait taken soon before Belle starts showing. She asks why. Philip says they don’t want the other baby taking the limelight away from Claire. Belle asks him if he still resents the baby she is carrying. Phil is not thrilled that she is carrying Shawn’s baby – he was hoping that it would be their baby. Belle wishes that too but she is carrying Shawn’s baby and she needs to know how he feels about that. Will he be able to love and raise this baby as his own? He says it will be his in every way that counts – he will love this baby because it is a part of them – a part of their family. They kiss. The doorbell rings. It’s Shawn and Mimi. Belle asks what is wrong – Shawn stares at Phil and Claire.
Philip tells Shawn if he has something to say to just spit it out. Shawn says before my father arrested Chelsea for falsifying the paternity report he wanted to do a DNA test. Philip asks on whom? Shawn says me. Philip says why would he do that. They’ve already established many times that you and Belle never slept together. Shawn says apparently we did. I got the results of the test – it was a total shock but the report that showed up in my hospital room was correct. I am Claire’s father. Belle asks if he is sure – maybe the lab made a mistake. Shawn says he called them – they ran the test twice. She’s ours. Belle says that means that you and I … Shawn says it happened the night of the fire. We were unconscious when they found us so obviously we didn’t remember. Belle doubles over. Shawn asks if she is okay. Mimi asks Philip if he is okay. Philip holds Claire and whispers its okay baby.
Philip walks with Claire talking about the day she was born. She was so excited to see her mommy and daddy that she came early! How he counted all her fingers and her toes and he told her that Daddy will always be there for you. He puts her in the playpen. Phil tells Shawn that he doesn’t give a damn if he spoke to the lab a 100 times. He’s checking this out for himself. Shawn says that’s fine. The results are going to be the same – Claire is my daughter. Shawn tells Phil that he’s really sorry. Philip is upset and he turns to Shawn – you’re sorry that the baby that I love, the baby I have cared for since she’s been in this world, the baby I would gladly give my life for is no longer mine. Shawn raises his voice as well – he doesn’t know what else to tell him. Philip tells him to take his apology and his test results and go to hell. Claire starts crying. Shawn goes to pick her up but Philip pushes him back. Philip warns Shawn not to touch his baby. Philip gets in Shawn’s face and says I’m not going to tell you again don’t touch her. Shawn says you are scaring the baby. Belle gets between them and tells Phil to calm down – they will work this out somehow. Phil says there is nothing to work out. Claire is my baby – he shoves Shawn hard and sends him flying yelling you stay away from her. Mimi and Belle rush to Shawn. Mimi helps him up and asks him if he is okay. Shawn looks up and sees Philip leaving with Claire and asks where is he going. Belle yells Claire – Shawn goes storming off after them – Belle stares.
Preview: Mimi to Bonnie – He knows Claire is his and there’s no going back. Bonnie – At least he doesn’t know the rest of it. Mimi – If he did he would hate me forever. John asks how could she just be finding out about it now. Roman tells John that Bo ordered a paternity test to prove that Chelsea altered the file. Belle says she didn’t. She and Shawn didn’t think they could be Claire’s parents because they believed they had never been together. She gives them the barn saga again. Bonnie says the smartest thing to come out of anyone’s mouth today – Having sex while you’re unconscious – that’s quite the trick. She’d put better odds on the test being wrong. Roman understands it was run twice. John wants to get back to Philip. Belle exaggerates and says when Philip heard the news he just snapped – he grabbed Claire and took off – she turns on the tears again. Bonnie said if someone tried to take one of her babies she’d do the same thing. Belle cries and snivels that no one was trying to take Claire away from him. John feels that Philip wasn’t in a rational frame of mind. Belle whines I know how he gets when he’s upset like this. Anything can happen.
John says that Philip wouldn’t hurt Claire. Belle knows that but she also knows that he would do anything to not lose her. He loves her so much. She then lies to her father about the look on Philip’s face when Shawn told him – it just destroyed him. That is an out and out lie because that’s the one thing I noticed yesterday – Belle didn’t even look at Philip – her eyes were on Shawn … in fact it was Mimi that had to ask Philip how he was doing. Roman says that he’ll get his cops to keep a look out for him. Mimi is going to try and call Shawn. A cop brings an angry Philip in. They ask where Claire is and the stupid cop says she’s fine, she’s with her father. Philip yells that he is her father. Roman wants to know what the charge is. The cop says disorderly conduct – as you can see as Philip is struggling to get away from the idiot cop. The cop says he threatened a hospital technician as well. Shawn brings Claire in and Belle runs to him. Shawn adds insult to injury by assuring Belle that everything is okay as Belle drapes herself around them.
Belle is now holding Claire (oh I get it, now that she thinks Shawn is the father she’s decided she should act like a mother … duh). She asks Roman if Philip has to spend the night. Roman says no, he’ll be booked, arraigned and then can leave once he posts bail. Shawn thinks that will take a couple of hours – he thinks that he and Mimi should take Claire home. Unbelievable – but the voice of reason in all of this is Bonnie – she wonders if this is a good idea – the last thing they should want to do is upset Philip again. Mimi thinks her mother has a point. Perhaps Shawn should steer clear of Claire for the time being. Shawn doesn’t think it’s a big deal – he’ll leave as soon as Philip gets home. Belle can’t wait to get rid of the kid and dumps her in Shawn’s arms. Shawn plays daddy with Claire. Belle offers Shawn her car keys. Shawn says its okay – I took Philip’s car from the hospital – (hmm, Philip’s car, Philip’s daughter – what else of Philip’s is Shawn going to want?) And by the way – how did Shawn get to the hospital and why couldn’t he take his own vehicle??? They leave – John comes back and asks how Claire is. Belle says Shawn and Mimi took her home and then whines that she doesn’t think Mimi liked it. John thinks she has a pretty complicated situation on her hands. Belle snivels and whines – she doesn’t know if anything is going to be okay again.
Roman offers to give them some privacy. Belle says it’s fine. Roman is sorry about Philip – if the hospital wasn’t involved … Belle thinks it was for the best (oh I bet she does!). John defends Philip saying it was quite a shock. Belle says she is going to have two children with Shawn and they’re married to other people. John says if you meant it when you said you were committed to your marriage it will work out. Belle doesn’t think that combined with the embryo switch and what happened today that Philip can get over this. (Already Belle is planning on how she can put the blame of a marriage break up on Philip’s shoulders – god forbid that she ever take responsibility for anything!) John says he knows better than anyone what it’s like to find out the children you are raising aren’t yours. So does Roman. John says over time you realise it doesn’t make any difference because you always love them the same. Roman says just like Carrie, Eric and Sami, Claire will end up with two fathers that love her very much. Of course Belle has to make it all about her – god forbid that the attention is on Claire – she snivels that she didn’t end up with two dads – it’s her fault that Marlena left Roman. John wants to know what she is thinking. Belle tells her father that she only stayed with Philip because of Claire. Even if he’s not her biological father he loves her, she loves him. John asks her how she sees the situation playing out in the end not only for herself but for her daughter. Belle asks him if he’s asking her if she is going to leave Philip. John could see how she would be considering it. Belle declares her love for Philip (yeah, right!). Shawn being Claire’s father shouldn’t change anything. Roman says there’s a big difference between shouldn’t and won’t. John tells her to be honest with herself and Philip. Belle proves she has no conscience or morals by having a sick fantasy about her and Shawn – hmm … real nice – her husband is in a cell waiting to be arraigned and Belle is fantasizing about being with a married man. John asks her what she is thinking. She lies and says she doesn’t know what she’s thinking – everything is so complicated.
Hospital lab: Philip shows up and tells Nikita that he wants to see the test results for the test done on Claire Kiriakis and Shawn Brady. Nikita says he can’t, the information is confidential. He could lose his job. Philip asks him if he looks like he cares. Shawn comes in and tells Nikita to show Philip the report. Nikita is not happy to see Shawn and neither is Philip. Philip tells Shawn to stay away from his daughter. Shawn tells Nikita that it was his father that ordered the test and he said that Philip has permission to see it. Nikita reluctantly agrees and gives Philip the report on the condition that he look at it and give it back. Shawn tells Philip that he isn’t going to like what he sees. Philip stares at Shawn and keeps telling Claire that everything is going to be okay. Nikita shows Philip the test results – his English isn’t so good – but numbers don’t lie – 99.9 percent certainty – hmmm … so the numbers are the same on both tests which means the test was rerun using the altered data. Philip shakes his head and says no. It’s not true. Shawn says he knows this is a shock but the best thing he can do is take Claire and go home to Belle. Philip tells Shawn not to tell him what to do – not ever. Shawn tells Philip that he is upsetting Claire. Nobody is going to take her away from him. Philip says that’s right – no one is going to take her. Two cops come into the room and ask Philip to hand over Claire. He won’t. They threaten to turn Claire over to child protective services. Philip says he would never hurt his little girl. They promise to give Claire right back so Philip hands them over. The one cop grabs Philip and places him under arrest. Shawn just stands there like he’s in shock.
The Kiriakis loft: Bonnie offers to watch Claire so that Mimi and Shawn can get some rest. Shawn says he told Belle he would look after her. Mimi offers to warm up her baby food. Bonnie offers to change Claire’s diaper but Shawn says no – he’ll do it. He goes upstairs. Bonnie says he’s acting like her father. Mimi says that is because he is – she always knew it would be like this – it’s the beginning of the end for them. Bonnie isn’t impressed with the baby food. She never fed her kids anything she wouldn’t eat herself. Mimi says is that why we ate all those TV dinners? Bonnie recalls that Mimi liked them. Mimi says that’s probably why she was a blimp all through school. Bonnie says you were never a blimp – she thinks she did a good job raising them. Mimi says that’s why Patrick is in jail for murder, Connor’s all but disowned the family and my life is going down the tubes. Bonnie says Patrick will be proven innocent, Connor is at the age that all he wants to do is spend time with his friends and you – she stops. She’s sorry that she let her down – she tried to change the DNA tests. Mimi says Shawn knows Claire is his and there’s no going back. Bonnie says at least he doesn’t know the rest. Mimi says no he doesn’t know that I knew Claire was his before we got married. If he did not only would he divorce me but he would hate me forever. Shawn feeds Claire with Mimi and Bonnie beside him. Philip and Belle come home and through the open door Philip sees Shawn with Claire. Belle tells him not to start anything. Philip isn’t going to do anything crazy. Bottom line, Claire is his baby, legally, in every sense. He goes on to say - she’s going to be my baby, in my family with my name and there’s nothing he can do about it.
Sami’s apt – Part 2:Sami throws her arms around Carrie when Lucas brings her home – she is so happy she is safe. Where’s Austin? Lucas says he’s on his way. Carrie apologises that they were feeling so frazzled that they stopped to have a drink – she doesn’t know what they were thinking. Sami says it’s okay – she suggests they go home and get some rest. Lucas won’t leave her alone. Sami tells him that she won’t be alone, Austin is staying with her. Sami hugs Carrie again and thanks her for everything. They leave and run into Austin in the hallway. Lucas thanks him for staying with Sami – he wouldn’t have been able to leave her alone. Austin is rummaging through his bag while Sami thanks him for staying there. She asks him what he’s looking for. His razor – he forgot it. He has to go buy another one. EJ has a spare one – he goes to get it. Sami asks Austin what’s the big deal – it’s just a razor as he keeps rummaging. He says he’s just stressed. Sami understands. Lucas felt like taking a drink but he didn’t. Sami is so grateful that Austin didn’t act on her suggestion that he and Carrie belong together. Lucas really needs Carrie right now. He couldn’t get through this without her. Austin says he needs to get out – he needs some fresh air. He stands in front of Lucas’s door and then goes up to the roof.
Lucas and Carrie’s apt: Lucas wishes he could do more. Carrie says he just has to trust that he will be found. Lucas thanks her for her love and support – they kiss. He says he needs her right now – more kisses as she joins him on the bed. Carrie sneaks out of bed, gets dressed and goes up to the roof. EJ sees her and goes and knocks on Lucas’ door.
Rooftop: Austin is hammering away at a punching bag. Carrie comes up to the roof – they stare at each other and then she runs into his arms – they kiss passionately. Lucas opens the door to the roof and sees them.
Preview: Lexie to Abe – There’s one thing I know for sure. I can always trust you. Bo to Chelsea (Billie is there as well) – I don’t hate you. Chelsea – I’m just really glad to have you back in my life. Sami to EJ – I just know exactly how Lucas feels right now and I know he needs Carrie to be there for him and she had better not let him down. Lucas to Carrie (and Austin) – You obviously don’t need me because you got your brother-in-law to kiss you and make you feel better. Damn bastard – he lunges at Austin.

Lucas is right that she should stop acting like a victim...yada...yada... Austin goes into enabling mode as well as trying to convince her that they didn’t do anything wrong. She thanks him for letting her stay in his motel room last night. They start kissing big time. She pulls back...worried about people watching and what everyone will say when they find out...much too cruel to do this to Lucas.
They leave the pub together and Austin convinces her to go see her dad. He’s going over to Sami’s to help...wonders if she will want his support. Carrie is sure that she will.
Salem Police Station
Patrick is brought in to see Hope. The guard gives them 20 minutes. Patrick wants to know if the reason Hope is there is because she thinks he is innocent.
Bo goes into Roman’s office...wants another shot at Patrick one-on-one...wants to bring Will home.
Hope tells Patrick that she is there because she wants to believe that people are innocent until proven guilty. Patrick isn’t thrilled. She reminds him that they shared a lot and she is having his baby...wants to hear his side of the story but has to say that the evidence is piling up and it is going to be very hard to convince her that he isn’t guilty.
Roman tells Bo that he isn’t willing to tell Sami and Lucas to cancel their television appeal, even if Bo thinks he can break Patrick before hand. Roman thinks that if Patrick isn’t their man, they have to do whatever it takes to find Will. Bo is told to make sure that whatever he gets out of Patrick will hold up in court. A police officer comes in with the ballistic report on the murder weapon.
Hope pleads with Patrick...if he ever cared about her or their unborn child...to tell her where Will is. Patrick is adamant that he is innocent and would never hurt a child. He isn’t impressed that she thinks he’s a perp. Hope reminds him about the fingerprints on the disk and the shoes...etc.. He swears he’s innocent...never would have told Tek about the shoes if they were at his house...not his shoes...they were planted. He thinks they should investigate Jack and Jennifer’s informant. If the informant had a picture of the gun then it had to be in his possession. Hope tells him that Jennifer is convinced he is guilty.
Patrick pleads with Hope. He reminds her that they slept together...are having a baby together...have shared personal intimate thoughts with each other. Does she really thing he is capable of doing the charges that are against him. Hope tells him that her track record is pretty bad where Bo is concerned. He swears he was set up and the only person who could have done that to him is Bo. Hope tells Patrick to leave Bo out of this...she has blamed Bo for so much and was so angry with him when they lost Zack. Patrick thinks the most logical candidate to frame him is Bo.
Carrie cries on her dad’s shoulder.
Hope knows that Bo would never frame an innocent man for murder and if she had to make a choice right now, she would believe Bo. Bo is listening in the doorway. He tells her that she is right...he would never frame anyone...even scum like Patrick. Patrick insists he is innocent. Bo says that the evidence says he is guilty as hell...the ballistics test proved that the bullet that killed Eve Michaels came from his gun...a 100% match. Patrick swears the gun isn’t his. Bo wants to know why Patrick phoned Sami Brady on the day Will was kidnapped. Patrick says he didn’t. Bo taunts him...calls him a liar and tells him he’s going to fry.
Roman decides to call Marlena for Carrie. He talks to Jeffrey Taylor who says that Marlena was supposed to set up a group at one of the hospitals today but never showed up. He’s left four messages on her cell phone already and is worried about her. Roman is worried too.
Bo tells Hope that he wants to talk to the prisoner alone. Hope leaves and Bo tells Patrick in no uncertain terms that he wants the truth. He wants to know where Will is. Patrick gets angry...tells him he doesn’t know...asks if Bo wants him to make stuff up. Bo doesn’t believe him...insists he will get the truth out of Patrick.
Sami’s Apartment
Lucas arrives and wants to know where Sami’s “roommate” is. She starts to tell him that Austin is with Carrie but stops midstream and apologizes. Lucas acts as if he doesn’t care...says they have more important things to deal with...need to focus on getting Will back. E.J., Kate, and the news crew arrive. Kate tells Lucas he looks like hell. He thanks her sarcastically for her support. Sami thanks E.J. and Kate for coming to help. Kate gets all snarly and puffed up as she tells Sami that Will is HER grandson for god’s sake! E.J. tells both ladies that they need to concentrate on Will’s safe return.
Kate explains that the broadcast will air as part of the Salem newsbreak and regularly throughout the day. Sami is upset but Lucas is there for her and calms her down. E.J. gives them some pointers on how to appeal to the kidnappers. Sami is worried. Lucas continues to support her. Kate puts her foot in her mouth...suggests she say something as well as Austin and Carrie. Lucas gets angry and insists that Austin and Carrie aren’t a part of his family anymore. Kate is shocked.
Lucas tells her that he and Carrie are over. E.J. takes Kate aside and gives her the details. She wants to know why he didn’t tell her sooner. Lucas tells her point black that this isn’t about her. Kate apologizes...tap dances on how she first thought Lucas and Carrie weren’t right for each other but now thinks they are the perfect couple...thinks they can patch things up. Lucas figures maybe he can take out a hit on Austin. Sami tells him not to say that. He tells his mom that he is sick of good girls like Carrie...yada...yada...and would never go back to her in a million years...is going to stick to bad girls from now on. Kate looks at Sami and is determined that Lucas won’t go back to her. Lucas tells her she doesn’t have any say in it.
The technician gets Sami and Lucas to sit close to each other on the couch and hold hands. Kate isn’t a happy camper. She thinks Sami is going to use this to lure Lucas back to her. E.J. doesn’t think Lucas will be ready for another relationship for a long time. Sami hopes she says the right thing and not the wrong thing. Lucas reassures her that they will do great as long as they speak from their hearts. Austin turns up...isn’t thrilled to see E.J. E.J. tells him to deal with it or leave. Kate tells Austin she is surprised to see him there. Lucas gets into the act and comments about not knowing it was garbage day around there. Sami knows he’s upset but begs him to let it go and focus on Will. Lucas gets territorial with Sami (oh my!) and tells her that Will is their son and if anyone is going to hold Sami’s hand and support her it is going to be him and not Austin or anyone else...sigh...
Lucas takes Sami’s hand and begins the appeal. He tells Will that they love him and want him back...talks about the football team handing out flyers and worried about him...won their first game and Will can still play when he gets back...mentions Will getting an “A” in algebra and how proud he is of him. He tells Will that he is the most amazing kid and the only one who has ever been there for him...begs to get his son back and offers any amount of money the kidnapper wants. Sami is crying now.
It’s Sami’s turn. She talks about Lucas being a great dad and how close he is to Will... talks about Will and Lucas practicing Will’s back ball (lol...Lucas corrects her and says it’s a curve ball). She mentions that Lucas is planning to take Will to the World Series this year...they planned to go many times in the past but were disappointed. She blames herself for most of Will’s disappointments and tells him how sorry she is. She talks about how sick Will was when he was born and how she couldn’t hold him at first... thinks he’s an old soul and that he ends up acting like a grownup while she and Lucas act like children. She promises that will never happen again and pleads with whoever has him to take it out on her and now Will. She tells the camera that Will is the most important thing in their lives. The door opens and Will comes in. Austin is shocked and hugs him. Lucas and Sami rush up to hug their son as well.

Tek arrives and spies the happy family. Abe wants to know what he is doing there. Tek says he’s just there to eat and to ignore him. Both Lexie and Abe stare at each other. They talk about Patrick’s arrest. She goes to take Theo to the bathroom and Tek takes her place at the table...taunts Abe and hopes he will give up this bogus investigation because the only thing Lexie is guilty of is loving Abe and Tek can’t figure out why.
Salem Police Station—Part I
Roman finds out that Jeffrey Taylor is the Commissioner of Health and Human Affairs for the State of New Jersey. He tells him that he will keep in contact with the Trenton Police and hangs up. Then he tells Carrie that Marlena never showed up for her women empowerment group clinic and no one knows what happened to her. He thinks she could be in trouble.
In the outer room, Tek and a female police officer are watching the live feed from Sami’s apartment and are amazed that Will is back so soon. Bo walks in and they tell him. Bo goes on a Patrick rant when Tek tells him he thinks they should check into whether he was set up. Tek reminds Bo that they need an airtight case and if Patrick is telling the truth, then none of the Brady family are safe.
Roman tells Carrie that the Trenton PD checked the motel and talked to people...found out that Marlena had coffee at 7 a.m. and the bellhop saw her leave at 8 a.m. She hasn’t been seen since. Roman wonders if Marlena did something herself...like running away from life. John understands what he is saying and mentions how shocked he was that when they got back from Europe she wanted a separation and didn’t even want to be near family. Carrie refuses to believe that Marlena would do this. She remembers talking to Marlena and knows how much her work means to her. Roman wants John to go to New Jersey. He can’t go himself because of all the cases he has going, but trusts John.
John tells Carrie that he will let Sami and Belle know. He tells them about Will coming home.
Sami’s Apartment
Everyone crowds around Will demanding to know what happened. He tells the shocked group nervously that he wasn’t kidnapped...he ran away. Sami is upset. Will rags on his mom for doing the same thing when she was pregnant with him. Sami isn’t impressed. He throws in Stan for good measure. E.J. pulls the news group back and gets them out of the apartment. Will tells Lucas about running away after the wedding because he thought he would be laughed at when he went back to school...now he thinks he will be laughed at even more. He tells them about going to Chicago...watching baseball...sleeping on benches. Sami goes ballistic.
Kate wonders how the guy, who called Sami, knew that Will wasn’t kidnapped. Lucas thinks the guy is messing with their heads. E.J. thinks the he might be watching them right now. Sami decides to call her dad to have the place swept for bugs. Bo comes in and Sami tells him about Will running away. He tells her that Patrick made the phone call. He reasons that Patrick is after Hope and him and thinks the way to make him suffer is through his family. Kate thinks it’s a bit of a reach. Bo shuts her up as well and asks if she wants to go back on the suspect list. Sami asks him about Lexie. Bo tells her that they are checking on her as well.
Will is eating three meals in one. He tells his parents that the police questioned him about being out of school and the excuse he gave them for being a gifted child...yada... yada... Lucas is somewhat impressed. Sami explains why she ran away when she was pregnant...how proud she is of Will...thanks him for being there for her...understands that he is angry at her for walking out on his Uncle Austin...hopes he will forgive her when she explains why she did it. Will is furious and starts ragging on his mom again. He tells her that sometimes he is embarrassed to be her child. Sami is upset.
Lucas tells him about breaking up with Carrie (kind of unemotional about the whole thing) and says he is moving in with Sami and him to parent him better (kind of rushed isn’t it?).
Salem Police Station—Part II
Bo is back and thinks this whole thing with Marlena involves Alex North. John brings up Tony Dimera. Roman says Tony is still in prison. The woman police officer pops in and tells John that his reservations for New Jersey have been booked. Bo tells him he will drive him home and to the airport. He thinks they can fit two cribs into the room easily...hopes she’s not upset...knows how much she loves Claire...doesn’t want her to worry...promises he won’t get alcohol poisoning again...is in a much better place now. Mimi tells him that she doesn’t want to keep him from his baby. He goes to check out the nursery and she mumbles to Bonnie, “Why does he think I would be thrilled about this?” Bonnie tells her it’s because he knows how much Mimi loves him and wants him to be happy. She thinks moving to the townhouse is even more important now. Mimi tells her that the money for the townhouse will end up being used for the custody lawsuit now...and that it doesn’t matter if they move to Tibet because Belle would still come between them and she doesn’t see how she can compete. Shawn overhears her and tells her pointblank that she is not competing. He quietly but firmly asks Bonnie to leave so he can talk to Mimi.
Bonnie leaves and Mimi tells Shawn she is sorry and wishes he hadn’t heard that. Shawn is glad that he did. He knows that things are complicated...just assumed she would be happy about this. He doesn’t remember sleeping with Belle and now has two children with no claim to either of them. He just knows that he needs his daughter in his life and if Mimi can’t handle it... Mimi gets upset, cuts him off, and tells him not to say that. She knows how much he wants Claire with him but says: “Don’t you dare give me an ultimatum that if I don’t like it I can just take a hike.” He tries to tell her that he would never say that. She pleads with him that she can handle anything...she can be a loving stepmother to her goddaughter as long as she has Shawn. She believes that every time he looks at Claire he will feel one step closer to Belle. She can’t handle losing him. He tells her that of course she has him and that she has nothing to be jealous about. He loves her. She tells him that she knows things are different now...he and Belle created a child together and that is a bond that nothing can break. Shawn asks her what he has to do to get her to see that they have a bond as well...a bond created by love, commitment, and wedding vows. Mimi begs him to convince her that what they have is stronger than what he has with Belle. They start to kiss passionately...take off clothes...end up on couch...

Shawn argues that Claire is his daughter...yada...yada...and that Philip is the one who scared Belle when he took off with Claire. Philip tells him that because of him Belle might lose the baby. They go back and forth until Shawn finally explodes and confronts Philip about his hating that Belle is having Shawn’s kid and not wishing the baby to be born. Philip gets physical. Kiriakis Loft Part II/Brady Loft Part II
Bonnie finally arrives and Mimi explains that she is babysitting and that they took Belle to the hospital. Bonnie wonders if she will have a miscarriage. Mimi says no one has called her yet but she doesn’t want anything to happen to the baby. Bonnie reasons that even so...if she were to lose it...it would be one less tie she has to Shawn. She offers Mimi a beer but Mimi reminds her that she is babysitting Claire. She hates the way she has been acting. Bonnie defends her actions...says that Shawn is her husband and that Mimi is a better person than Belle is. They talk about Bo interrupting her and Shawn. Mimi is exasperated that Belle always finds a way to interrupt them. She feels as it is a big game of tug-a-war.
Apparently Hope has called Mimi. Mimi is a little upset that Shawn couldn’t talk to her because he is in with the “little mother.” Bonnie persuades her to fix Shawn a nice dinner. They take the baby monitor with them so they can hear if Claire needs them.
