Brady & Nicole: Nicole tells Brady that EJ won't let her see him any more. Brady argues and cajoles until finally Nicole tells him that Philip blackmailed her. Philip thinks they're having an affair and even though they're not if Philip tells EJ that the two of them have a secret EJ won't stop until he finds out what it is. Brady tells her to tell EJ the truth - how long will this go on. Nicole plays on Brady until he's telling her that she's a good person, beautiful and worthy of being loved for who she is. Nicole whines about Sami being back. She tells Brady he's the best friend she shouldn't have.


Maggie & Chloe: Chloe pleads with Maggie not to tell Lucas about her & Daniel - don't break his heart again. Maggie gets really upset with the insinuation that it was she and not Chloe that broke his heart. Chloe quickly explains that wasn't what she met - she tells a very sceptical Maggie that she prayed and got a sign from God. She knows now that Lucas is her destiny. After raking Chloe over the coals Maggie agrees not to tell Lucas. She makes it clear she's doing this for Lucas though - not Chloe.


Victor, Kate & Stefano: Victor feels vindicated now that Kate feels the same way about Chloe that he does. He asks her what she plans to do. Before she does anything she has to distract Lucas with another woman more suitable for him so he isn't so devastated. Victor has the best line of the day - a sex doll should do the trick. Stefano comes along and asks to join them - Victor says no and Kate says yes. Victor accuses Stefano of having EJ commit corporate espionage. Stefano makes light of the accusation and tells Victor they should focus on what they have in common - love of family. Stefano finds out Kate is in remission and offers to buy the next round of drinks - Victor leaves. Stefano asks about Daniel - Kate tells him they're through. He asks about Victor. She maintains they are no more than good friends. Stefano asks her to dinner.


Philip & EJ: Philip asks why he was summoned to the DiMera mansion. EJ gives him the pieces of the torn up formula. They don't think this is going to amount to anything so it's all Titan's. He intends on focusing on what is important - his family. He doesn't think it's worth getting into a blood war between the families. Philip resents the implication - he would never hurt anyone. He asks EJ what the catch is. EJ tells him he is to never see Nicole again. Philip laughs at him. Nicole is a friend and EJ has no right to tell him who his friends can or can't be. EJ comments that Philip is a bigger fool than he thought he was - he closes the door on him.


Sami, Lucas & Will: Sami is very emotional - she's thrilled Will is back. She missed him so much. They hug - Will tells her that he missed her too. When he wants to know what happened to Lucas Sami changes the subject. Will has been to see John and Marlena. Lucas tells him that he can stay at the cabin with him and Chloe or with his mother. Will asks Sami if she's still at the DiMera's. When she tells him she's living in her mom's townhouse he decides to stay there. Sami leaves.


Victor & Philip: When Victor comes home Philip hands him the torn up formula. He got Nicole to work on EJ and EJ backed down. Victor wants to know how EJ got his hands on the forumula. They both know it was from Melanie but Victor wants to know exactly how she was able to give it to EJ. He tells Philip to find out or he'll be looking for a job. They snipe at each other. Victor thinks it's because of Stephanie. Philip tells him that he and Stephanie are done - he lost her because of the project - but hey, it was worth it (he's being sarcastic).


Sami, Chloe & Allie: Sami is thrilled to see Allie. She takes her from Chloe. Chloe comments that Sami had her baby. Sami quickly takes Allie into another room. Chloe says she only meant it in a good way - Sami doesn't want her talking about it and tells her to leave.


Lucas, Will & Chloe: Lucas comments that he can't believe how much Will has grown since he's been gone. Will complains that they are still treating him like a two year old. What did his Mom not want him to know about Lucas's condition. Lucas tells him he and Chloe hit a rough patch and she called off the engagement. He admits that he drank. He got alcohol poisoning. He hopes that Will doesn't regret coming home. Chloe arrives and is thrilled to see Will - she goes to hug him but he backs away. He tells her that his dad almost died because of her.


Sami, EJ & the twins: EJ brings over Johnny's dancing penguin. They have great scenes where Sami talks about what a great father EJ is. She just doesn't like Johnny under the same roof as Nicole. EJ understands. Johnny cries so Sami goes to get him. EJ calls Stefano and tells him that Philip took the bait - he thinks they're dropping out of the Fuels project. Some cute family scenes. EJ takes the twins to brush their teeth - Sami calls Sister Theresa and says she'll be coming for Grace soon - she's working on a plan. After the children are asleep Sami asks EJ why he's really there. She would think if everything was fine at home he'd be there. Is he having second thoughts about marrying Nicole. EJ says maybe I should make Nicole's worst nightmare come true and marry you instead of her.


Preview: Chloe to Nicole - I don't think you have to worry about Sami or that baby ever again. Will to Lucas - So let's talk about what you don't want to talk about, Mom & EJ. Something going on between mom and that jerk? Sami to EJ - Why would I possibly be jealous? EJ - Because Nicole has me and you don't.

Park: Dan wallows in his misery. Finally he says to hell with it and leaves.


Hospital: Lucas tells Will he was out of line. Chloe is going to leave but Will apologises. Chloe tells him he has a point - she is to blame for a lot of things. She hopes that Lucas can forgive her. Will goes to get something to eat. Lucas tells Chloe to stay. They determine they are back together. He doesn't want her to feel like she had anything to do with him taking a drink. It was his choice. Chloe says but what she did before he started drinking... Lucas says she tried to tell what was wrong but like an idiot he didn't listen. He thinks he knows why she called it off. He took her for granted. Because they were engaged he thought she'd always be there and he focused his attention on Allie and his mom. Chloe insists he didn't do anything wrong. He feels that he obviously wasn't doing much right - but he'll make it better. He wants another chance. He promises to listen more and pay attention. Chloe wants another chance too. He tells her she doesn't need one - she's perfect the way she is. She says that is not true. They can both change. They're going to be happy - she knows it. They kiss. Chloe wishes things were the way they used to be - like the last month never happened. Lucas doesn't want that. He doesn't want to repeat the same mistakes - they have to be honest with each other about everything. He wants her to promise that she'll tell him what she's feeling even if she thinks it will hurt him. She promises. He's been thinking about what made him take that first drink - it was the fact that she was unhappy and he didn't know it. She tried to tell him and he wouldn't listen. Chloe tells him to stop. He's acting like this was all his fault and it wasn't - it was her. Lucas doesn't see it that way. Chloe says he almost died and she's the one to blame for that.

Lucas has a favour to ask of her - while he's working on getting sober maybe she can stop acting so crazy. This guilt thing is ridiculous. She didn't make him drink and she had nothing to do with that explosion. He can't believe how much he drank. He wonders why he went to Daniel's apartment - was he so drunk that he thought he still lived there? He repeats that this isn't her fault. A nurse comes in just as Nicole calls Chloe. Chloe steps out of the room to take the call. Nicole wants her to come over - EJ is with Sami - she wants to talk. Chloe tells her she'll be there as soon as she can. She tells Lucas that Nicole is freaking out about Sami. She wonders why Nicole didn't say anything about Sami's baby. Lucas tells her that Sami lost the baby. He tells her to promise not to say anything. If anyone found out about Sami and EJ ... Will walks in just at that moment - what about Sami and EJ? Chloe leaves to go see Nicole. Will wants to talk about mom and EJ - is something going on with mom and that jerk. Lucas recalls Sami's comments when she found out she was pregnant with EJ's baby. He tells Will that Sami and EJ are spending a lot of time together because of Johnny. He knows how Will feels about EJ so he was warning Chloe that there are issues. Will says you're scared I'm going to shoot EJ in the back? Will thinks Lucas is worried that he inherited his homicidal tendencies? Lucas is just worried ... he stops - he doesn't think he's in a position to lecture Will considering he's in a hospital bed suffering from alcohol poisoning. He didn't want Will to come back to such a mess. Will says it looks like he's trying to clean that mess up - he'd like to help. And if he and mom were living normal lives it wouldn't feel like home. Lucas tells Will that there's something he'd like him to do for him. He asks how long Will is going to stick around. He's planning on finishing out the semester at Salem High. Lucas wants him to be his best man when he marries Chloe. Silence. Lucas asks if there's a problem. No - just tell him where and when. He has to leave. After he goes Lucas shakes his head - that went well.


Cheating Heart: Daniel comes in and orders a double scotch and heads to a table. Chelsea comes in looking for Max - he's in the back doing inventory. She notices Daniel and goes over to him. He tells her he's really bad company tonight so she should pretend she didn't see him. She isn't leaving until he tells her what is wrong. Daniel doesn't want to talk. Max shows Chelsea a text he got - 'Ditch him'. Daniel goes out to make a call. Max tells Chelsea that something is bothering Daniel and the way he's knocking them back he's a ticking time bomb - she doesn't want to be near him. Dan calls Chloe and starts to leave her a message but stops himself muttering - screw it. Max tells Chelsea that Daniel is coming back in and he doesn't look any happier than when he left. Chelsea declares that doesn't matter - she'll make him happy. She goes back to Daniel's table. He wants to be left alone. She wants to know what's bothering him. Nothing. She then asks him who he just called. Daniel tries to get her to go to Max - he'll be more fun. Chelsea wants to know if this is about her grandmother. Daniel realises that she doesn't know so he tells her Kate is in remission. Chelsea flings herself at him and hugs him. The bartender tells Max that it looks like his new girlfriend is trading up. Chelsea gives Max the good news. He thinks that is great news - he goes back to work. Chelsea thinks Daniel still looks like he lost his best friend. Daniel shrugs - it's just one of those nights where I'm wondering what kind of person I am, what kind of man I am. She asks him what got him thinking about that. Daniel says she had a lot to do with it. He screwed up the life of a really decent person - her. He hurt a lot of people and he's not sure he knows that guy. Chelsea thinks that guy is alright - he's just having a bad night. Daniel tells her to go and have fun with Max - he comments that she really likes him, doesn't she. She does. Daniel heads home - walking. Chelsea tells Max that Daniel made her promise that she'd have fun with Max tonight. She goes behind the bar and kisses him. Daniels watches them - they morph into Lucas and Chloe. He says you did the right thing Chloe.


DiMera mansion: Nicole (carrying Sami's baby) asks Mary where EJ is. He's gone to Marlena Evans house. Nicole pretends like she knew that. After Mary leaves Nicole whines about EJ going to see Sami. Nicole has handed off Sami's baby to Mary and tells her to bathe and feed her - she practically pushes them out of the room to get rid of them. She whines to herself about Sami and utters empty threats. Chloe arrives. Nicole has a lot of smart remarks to make about Chloe dumping Daniel and the entire 'sign from God' stuff. Nicole tells Chloe that this is about her long-term happiness. Chloe tells her that Lucas started drinking because she left him and then he found out about her and Daniel. He doesn't remember that part though - she thinks it was God. Another smart remark from Nicole. Chloe tells her she's going to leave if they don't stop talking about her. Nicole starts complaining about Sami - once again EJ has dropped everything and ran to her because Johnny left a toy behind - imagine what he'll do if she tells him about the baby. Chloe tells her that she doesn't think Nicole has to worry about Sami or that baby ever again. Nicole asks her why she would say something like that. Chloe wants her to promise not to tell Lucas that she told her this but Sami lost the baby. Nicole recalls Sami talking to someone about taking care of her daughter. She says that's really hard to believe. Chloe says Sami doesn't want anyone to find out so Nicole doesn't have to worry about Sami telling EJ about the baby. She wonders what they're talking about - she picks up her phone. Chloe stops her. Don't call him. She has his ring, his baby and he loves her - she has all the trumps and the only thing that will blow it is her not being her self-confident, non-shrewish self. Nicole says she won't let Sami get to her. Chloe tells her that there is nothing Sami can do to change EJ's mind about her. Chloe tells Nicole the best thing to do right now is nothing. She leaves. Nicole mutters do nothing? - that's so not my style.


Townhouse: Sami laughs when EJ says he should marry her. It's what she wants more than anything - it worked so well the last time. EJ thinks she is jealous because Nicole has him and she doesn't. Sami thinks he's arrogant. EJ jokes a bit more about how Sami wants him and then tells her that this is none of her business. Sami thinks he's wrong - he's the father of her children. EJ asks if he missed something. Sami covers - she thinks of him and Lucas as co-fathers of the twins. EJ loves Allie as if she's his own and he cares about Sami very much but if she engages in a war with Nicole she'll do a lot of damage. Right now they have a good relationship but she's going to spoil that and that's not fair to the kids. His cell rings - it's Nicole. Nicole lectures EJ and during her harangue and EJ's responses Sami makes some well deserved smart remarks. Sami wonders if Nicole will be waiting at the door with a rolling pin to lay down the law to him. EJ tells Sami that Nicole just had a baby - maybe she could cut her some slack. Women who just had babies get treated with a little bit of patience and sympathy. Sami is close to tears. EJ asks her what is wrong.

EJ asks if something happened to her while she was away - something he doesn't know about. She answers no. He wonders why she seems to fall apart every time he talks about Nicole and the baby. Sami wants to change the subject. She's not jealous of Nicole no matter what EJ thinks. If anything she is upset for his daughter. It's bad enough she has Nicole for a mother and she's being raised in a mausoleum with his father. EJ tells her they have a son together - it's important that they find a way to get along. She can't attack Nicole or pass judgement on how they raise their daughter. Sami says he's right - they all have to do what they think is right for their children. EJ doesn't think Sami is alright - she went through this terrible ordeal and then came home to find her mother gone. Sami asks him not to be nice to her - it's so much easier for her when they're fighting. EJ doesn't want to fight. Sami sarcastically says - right. You're going to mail evil incarnate and even though she's going to be around my son I don't get to have an opinion about her anymore. EJ states that he isn't going to let Nicole hurt their son. Sami knows that if he saw Nicole doing something to hurt their son he'd stop her but he doesn't see it just like he can't see the truth about his father. EJ replies - let's just say I'm a little wiser about him than I was. Sami says but you think it's okay for Johnny to live in that house. EJ says everyone there loves Johnny. Sami scoffs - right, he's grooming them to be the next generation DiMera. EJ laughs - Nicole has the exact same concerns - she voiced them to father. Sami says that's not what she told me. If she voiced those concerns she was doing it for his benefit. Nicole wants to be a DiMera wife - she wants be both the devouted wife and mother so she's playing it to the hilt. EJ tells Sami that she has absolutely no idea what she would do if she was in the same position. Sami - actually, EJ, I do.

EJ has the feeling there's something she isn't telling him. Sami tells him it's been a rough couple of months for her. Someone was trying to kill her. Someone that was protecting her did get killed and someone else almost got himself killed. When things like that happen you start thinking about the bigger picture like what would happen to your children if you were gone. EJ is sorry she had to go through that. You're not the same person that went in there, are you. Sami replies; no, I'm not. She knows that she and Nicole have a history and this sounds like more of the same but it's not. He's made it clear that Nicole has his heart, she has his child and that makes him vulnerable. She knows Nicole hurts people and she doesn't want to see him get hurt. EJ tells her she doesn't have to worry about him. She shrugs - but I do because a part of me will always love you. She adds that that statement is very, very qualified. The fact that she cares about him has never made her blind to the fact that he is a DiMera and always will be. She warns EJ not to let his guard down around them. EJ comments that Nicole doesn't share her views. Sami says that's because Nicole is ... she stops herself. She isn't going to say nasty things about Nicole anymore as long as he'll do something for her. He has to protect Johnny - he can't let him turn out like one of them. EJ is sorry but when it comes to their son he's on his own. Sami gets upset - he's not going to protect his son from Stefano? EJ says the small part of him that she likes is the part that resisted when his father tried to change him into a DiMera. It's not their job to mould Johnny into this thing or that thing. It's their job to let him grow up naturally. If he tries to protect Johnny from his father, doesn't allow him to decide if he wants to be a DiMera they'll have problems. Johnny is a DiMera - they can't hide that. Sami realises that he's been thinking about this a lot. EJ says if his son or daughter want to join the family business or be musicians or join the circus - that's up to them. Sami says it's like she's seeing a side of him she never got the chance to meet. EJ says that she didn't allow him to show it to her. Sami is glad they talked. He is too - she doesn't have to worry about Johnny. She thinks she better check on him. There's a knock on the door so EJ answers it - it's Rafe. EJ asks if he can help him. Rafe - sorry I thought this ... Sami comes back into the room and sees Rafe. She rushes to him and hugs him - what are you doing here? EJ watches.


Preview: Bo to Hope - That you were in bed making love to another man. Chelsea to Max - You're asking me to trust you. Max - Yeah. Nicole holding Sami's baby - Maybe it doesn't have to be this way. Sami to Rafe - Just be careful okay. Rafe kisses her forehead as EJ watches.

Max & Chelsea: They're alone at the Cheating Heart. Max has to lock up. He offers Chelsea a drink. She says since they're celebrating her grandmother's remission they should open the best bottle of champagne. She then orders ginger-ale and says that he would have opened the champagne even though he couldn't afford it. He would have - he's crazy about her. They kiss. They're now in the park talking about winter turning into spring. Chelsea is kind of afraid that dating might ruin their friendship - she tells Max she cares for him more than she ever cared for anyone that she's dated. She thinks maybe they shouldn't do this. She stops the date to speak to her 'friend'. Max tells her that he thinks she is afraid of getting hurt again. He asks her to trust him. She thinks she already does. The date is back on - they kiss.


Brady house - Part 1: Bo is drinking coffee when he has the vision of Hope making love to another man. Hope comments about the look on his face - what is he thinking about. He's just thinking. Hope says the last couple of weeks have been awful - they can't just pretend they never happened. Bo says that when they were younger and got separated it hurt. It was a 'rip out your heart and stomp on it' kind of hurt. This last separation hurt like that - like they never grew up. Hope thinks they should stay young, naive and in love. Bo doesn't want her to ever leave him like that again. Hope tells him she won't. She understands that he was doing what he thought was best - he was looking out for her. Bo replies sarcastically - yeah, I did a good job of that! Hope is getting mixed messages. He wants to pretend like it never happened and yet he's still brooding about it. What's going on? Bo tells her it's not that. Finally Bo tells Hope that he had another vision about her. She was in bed making love to another man. Hope gets that he doesn't have any control over these visions but for once couldn't he see them winning the lottery or enjoying world peace instead of something so disgusting and awful. Bo has to tell her what he sees so they make sure it doesn't happen. (I missed a bit of the feed here while extending the recording time). Hope apologises - she knows this is awful for him too and she's acting like it's just happening to her. Bo knows he should know this but he has to ask - when she came home did she do it because she wanted to or because she felt she had to for Ciara. Hope sees that he wants to know if this vision is based on something real; something in her. Bo is sorry he had to ask. Hope says no, he needs to know. She left because she was really angry with the man she loves; the only man that she loves and wants. How does she prove that to him? He says she doesn't have to. She wants to. They snuggle and kiss.


DiMera mansion - Part 1: Nicole is complaining to Sami's baby's - why is your daddy still with that nasty woman that gave birth to you. Stefano asks - what did you just say? Nicole complains about the lack of privacy in the house. Stefano is waiting for an answer. Nicole complains that EJ left hours ago to take a toy to Johnny. It's a problem for her that he's still there - the thought of him and Sami together ... She then explains she yelled and slammed the door and the baby started crying - she feels awful about it. Stefano doesn't think she's having a good evening - is there anything he can do to help? Stefano says that Nicole seems genuinely threatened by Samantha's return. He says Elvis and Samantha have a child - she is not going to go away again. If her presence in this town and Elvis's life is going to reduce her to some kind of shrieking, nagging shrew ... this is a problem. He solves problems in this house. Nicole uses the 'maybe the baby and I should move out' ploy again. Stefano says without Elvis? He chuckles. Does she really believe that Samantha's allure is so great that she could just knock her out of the picture. Nicole calls Sami a cow. Stefano says than why are you so scared of her? Nicole denies being scared of Sami. She's not happy about Sami being back. It was blissful when it was just her, EJ and the baby and Stefano, of course. Stefano is going to have Mary make her some herbal tea - she needs to calm down. He walks out of the room. What Nicole needs is to get the goods on Sami. She needs to know why she told Lucas that Mia's baby is dead. Stefano returns with the tea to find that Nicole is going out. She says she's angry and upset and she needs some privacy - that isn't going to happen here. She doesn't know where she's going - just out away from here. She leaves. Stefano mutters - why don't I believe you?


Townhouse: Rafe tells Sami she looks great, relaxed. She says she gets to go outside; no one is trying to kill her - that's a good thing. Rafe says she's smiling - that's new. Sami says that seeing him is the best welcome home present she can get. EJ does not look happy. Sami asks if he went to a doctor. He did - everything is fine. Sami tells him that she wrote a letter to Hilda's kids. EJ cuts in - maybe he should get going. Sami apologises - she forgot he was there. EJ holds out his hand to Rafe and introduces himself. Sami introduces Rafe Hernandez; the agent who was looking out for her when she was in the witness protection program. Sami turns her back on EJ and starts talking to Rafe but EJ interrupts again and thanks Rafe for looking after Samantha. Rafe replies that he was just doing his job. He then says - so you're Johnny's dad. EJ says yes. Rafe chuckles and tells Sami now that he's met him her imitation of him is even better than he thought. Sami swats him - he wasn't supposed to say anything. EJ comments that they must be pretty close if she shared that with him. Rafe - there's not much you can do about that when you're together 24/7. He heard a lot about him, how you operate. Sami tells Rafe she's sure they know each other better than anyone on the planet but she also knows that he knows how to keep a secret.

Rafe tells Sami that it didn't take long for her to start giving him a hard time again. Sami defends herself - that's because it didn't take him long to get that way that he gets. She tells EJ that Rafe doesn't make great first impressions. EJ knows all about that - people judging him without actually knowing him. Sami wants Rafe to meet the twins. She tells him the reason that EJ is there is because Johnny left his laughing penguin at his house - he can't go to sleep without it. She tells EJ that Rafe is the one that got the twins the laughing penguins when she was in the safe house. Rafe shrugs - what he can say, they're a full service agency. EJ - Really? Sami is going to get them. EJ thinks it's a little late and they're sleeping. Sami says they'll go right back to sleep. Besides she told Rafe so much about them he has to meet them. She goes to get them. Rafe tells EJ that it killed her to be away from those kids. EJ is sure it did. Rafe adds that she would do anything for them. EJ says most parents would. Rafe replies - like wage a really nasty custody battle? He shrugs - like he said; they spent a lot of time together; he heard a lot of stories. EJ says not true - you heard 1/2 of a lot of stories. Rafe says yeah but you have moved on, started yet another family? EJ replies that when Samantha came to him she was under a great deal of stress. He's sure that she confided in him (Rafe) a lot however she's at home now and he's no longer on the job. Rafe asks if he's saying that she's off limits. EJ - no. Rafe - Good because that would be really hard to stomach especially considering that he is here and his new fiancée and baby ... where are they again? EJ says that and the rest of his life are none of his damn business.

Rafe, Sami and the twins are on the couch talking. Sami calls them her angels. EJ thinks they look like rather sleepy angels - he offers to take them back to bed. Sami says okay - they have a big day tomorrow - they're going to spend it with their big brother Will. EJ didn't know he was back - now she'll have all her kids with her. He takes the kids to bed. Sami tells Rafe that EJ is a really good dad. Rafe says he's so great you can't even tell him he has another kid. Sami shushes him - it's not about EJ, it's about his father. Rafe says that if he had a kid like Johnny with a woman like her he certainly wouldn't be so concerned about pleasing his daddy. Sami says she can say things like that but he can't. Rafe - that's sensible. Sami never pretended to be sensible. Rafe smiles - he missed the way she thinks. Sami missed him too. Rafe has a surprise for her - he gives her a picture of Grace. They gush about the baby. Rafe tells her he went to the convent today. It's not right that the baby isn't with her. Sami says it kills her that Grace isn't with her. She talks about babies and that moment when you know that they know who you are. There are so many firsts she is going to miss with her but she has to stay away from her. She has to for her other kids, for Grace - they need her. Johnny needs her. Rafe says because he spends half his time at his father's house? She tells him she tried to talk to EJ about that tonight but he doesn't see Nicole for who she really his. It could be so bad for Johnny. Rafe doesn't like not being able to help. Sami apologises for venting - it's not his problem. He did his job by keeping her safe and getting her home - now his work is done. Sami chuckles - she's remembering when he first got the assignment - he wanted to get rid of her. Rafe says he got used to her. Sami says now you don't have to protect me anymore. (EJ is listening at this point). Rafe says just because the assignment is over that doesn't mean he doesn't want to help her. Sami wishes he could. He holds her - he'd sure like to try.

Sami is so glad he's here. Rafe tells her that he has to go to DC right away. EJ barges in - he told the kids that mommy would give them a kiss and a glass of water before lights out. Sami tells Rafe to stay there she'll be right back. She goes to tend to the kids. EJ tells Rafe that Sami could be with the twins a long time so if he feels that he has to leave ... he points to the door. Rafe - Nah. I'll stay to say goodnight to Sami. It sounds like the twins are taken care of so there's nothing stopping EJ from going home to his new family. EJ advises him not to concern himself with his family. Rafe is just wondering what EJ's fiancée is doing stuck at home all alone. EJ imagines that Rafe leads a lonely life. Rafe - well I don't have families all over the place like you do. EJ imagines that is why he concerns himself so much with his and Samantha's lives. Rafe laughs - he thinks EJ feels a little touchy about Sami, especially for someone that has moved on. He mentions that he was there the night EJ called to tell her that. Although she couldn't leave the house or see her kids EJ still felt the need to keep her in the loop - filling her in on your latest romantic conquests. EJ doesn't owe Rafe an explanation but he'll give him one. Samantha and he share a son so that means he will always be protective of her. Rafe - protective or possessive? EJ thinks Rafe should go now. Sami comes in and hears this. Rafe's cell rings - he has to take the call. Sami tells EJ that he can't just order people out of her house. EJ knows that but he doesn't appreciate it when people think they can just start analyzing his life. Sami says then you can leave - that's how that works. Rafe tells Sami that he has to leave tonight - EJ grins. Rafe says he really has to leave - he just got his orders. Sami wonders if he could ask for more time. He tells her it doesn't work that way. She's really going to miss him. Rafe - vice versa. Sami walks out with him. Rafe tells EJ that it was great to meet him - give his best to his family. Sami is in tears. Rafe tells her it's not going to be that bad. He'll back soon. Sami didn't realise how much she's going to miss him until he showed up. He's coming back, right? If that's what she wants. It is. Sami mentions all the times she tried to get away from him and now she doesn't want to say goodbye. Rafe tells her that he'll see her soon - she can count on it. Sami wants to know if what he is doing is dangerous. No. She tells him he's such a liar - just promise that he'll be careful. He kisses her forehead and then they kiss as EJ watches.


Convent: Nicole shows up at the convent and feeds Sr T a packet of lies. She gave her baby up - it was the right thing to do. Grace starts to cry. Nicole asks if she can see her. Sr. T goes to get a bottle for the baby and leaves Nicole alone with Mia's baby. Nicole natters away - she's sorry that she's all alone. She had to give her to that horrible woman but maybe it doesn't have to be this way.


Brady house - Part 2: Hope heads up the stairs with Bo in hot pursuit. Max and Chelsea enter. She thinks that is was a great date. So does he. Some more chattering and than the goodnight kiss.


DiMera mansion - Part 2: Dieter comes in and tells Stefano that he followed her - it was unsettling. Usually when you tail someone they do something unsavoury but the blonde went to a convent on the south side - the Convent of the Holy Cross.


Preview: Chelsea in bed with Max - Last night she was unsure ... she kisses him. Hope to Bo - No one is ever going to come between us. That is never going to happen. Nicole to Chloe - I'm everything Sami Brady is not. EJ to Roman - He crossed a line. Sami - No, actually EJ that would be you.

Brady house: While sleeping Bo has the vision again - this time we see Hope's ring and watch on the night table. He tosses and turns saying no. Hope asks if he had a nightmare. She realises it was the vision of her with another man. Bo doesn't know what to do about it. Hope tells him this has to stop - it can't go on. Bo says he doesn't have any control over them. Hope disagrees. His psyche is playing games with him. Maybe it's because he still feels guilty about what happened with her and Kay and he's punishing himself. Bo says she believed in his visions and now she's saying his mind is playing tricks on him. She loves him with all her heart and she would never be unfaithful. Bo says he wasn't able to protect Theo or his sister - what if he can't protect her? Hope asks him if hears himself - it's like he believes this is really going to happen. Bo thinks this is interesting. She was telling him to believe his visions and now she's acting like he's crazy to even consider that they might come true. Hope replies 'because this time it's different.' He's seeing her with another man because she moved out of the house even though it was for a short time. It made him doubt her loyalty to him - maybe not consciously but sub-consciously. They won't call them visions anymore. They're thoughts - terrible thoughts that have no real basis in reality and they never will. He does have control over them and he's going to take those thoughts and put them out of his mind. No one is ever going to come between them. That is never going to happen. She goes into his arms.

In Chelsea's bedroom she kisses a sleeping Max (he's on top of the covers wearing his jeans). She thanks him for understanding. Last night she was unsure but now all she wants to do is this. She kisses him. They make love. They talk about the first time they were together and what each of them were like. She wants to know what attracted him to her. He lists a lot of things and ends with - you were a challenge. She asks if he has any regrets. He doesn't and he doesn't have any regrets about this either. They make love again. Max notices the time. They kiss a bit more but Max has to go. She asks if he has big plans. Nothing as good as this - he kisses her again. He'll call her later. Bo is coming from the kitchen with a cup of coffee when he sees Max coming down the stairs. Bo - Max, what a surprise. Chelsea dashes down the stairs in her robe - Max, you forgot your wallet. Max subtly lets her know they're not alone. Chelsea says good morning to Bo. Max can explain. Hope comes down and greets Max - she didn't hear the doorbell ring. Bo says it didn't. He spent the night here. Chelsea thought Hope was supposed to be with Ciara and Bo at a meeting in Chicago. Bo says so you guys planned this out. Chelsea says no. She asks Hope what she's doing there - she thought she was staying at Gran's. Hope tells her that they worked everything out. Chelsea says it's great. Bo wants to know what Max was doing here. Max says they were out late and they ended up here. That's it. Bo - that's it? You spent the night her under my roof with my daughter in her bed. Max says yeah I did. Bo tells him to get out - he's not welcome here.. Chelsea tells Max to stay. Max isn't going to stay where he's not wanted. He leaves. Chelsea asks Bo how he could do this. She rushes upstairs. Hope tells Bo that she doesn't think he should be ... he interrupts - what, be upset that his daughter had sex in their house? This is our home, not a motel. Hope smiles - at least it wasn't some long-haired biker. Bo says okay - he'll chase Max down and make this right. Hope will do that and he should make things right with his daughter.

Upstairs in her room Chelsea is throwing stuff into a suitcase. Bo knocks on the door. He wants her to open the door so he can apologise. He tells her he's really, really sorry. He saw them together and overreacted. She tells him she's not 15 anymore. He says no you're not but she's his daughter and whether she's 15 or 50 he'll always be protective of her. She doesn't want to be protected when it comes to this. It's her life and frankly he has no say in who she sees and who she doesn't. Bo says he missed out on a lot of years of being her Pop. There's a slight possibility that he's over-compensating by wanting to be too involved in her life. She says she was mortified - it was Max!!! Is he going to apologise to him. He is. They hug. She reminds him that he told her that the hardest part of being a parent was letting go and letting your children make their own mistakes. She can't really do that if she's living there. She's sorry but she's moving out. Bo helps Chelsea with her suitcase as she's coming down the stairs. He asks her where she's going to stay. She'll stay with Stephanie for a few days. They hug - Chelsea leaves. Bo has the same vision again. Who is that? Who's she with?


Waterfront - Part 1: Daniel is sitting on a bench when Brady comes running by. Brady comments that it's a good morning for a run. Daniel wouldn't know - he hasn't gotten off the bench. He had one too many last night. Brady hopes it was worth it. He assumes he wasn't drinking alone - who is she? He knows that Daniel and Kate broke up and he's wondering if he's okay with that. Daniel tells him there's someone else. (insert flashback). Brady asks if it's still going on - he guesses from Daniel's reaction that it's over. Daniels says it's not over - it will never be over. Brady is confused. Daniel tells him that it's complicated. She's going to marry this guy but she doesn't love him the way she should. Brady understands because he knows what it's like to be in love with a woman you can't have. They've done another lap - Daniel is behind paying for last night. Brady says he's in no position to judge. When he thinks about how self-destructive he was when he and Chloe were having their issues - it was more than one night of bad drinking. Brady suggests another lap around the harbour.


Chloe & Nicole: Chloe isn't thrilled with the bridesmaid dress Nicole picked out for her. Nicole says it's her wedding and EJ will only have eyes for her. She praises herself and ends by saying she's everything Sami isn't. Chloe doesn't know why Nicole is still threatened by Sami. She lost the baby so she can't hold that over her. Nicole has flashbacks. She tells Chloe that Sami is the mother of EJ's son which means she'll always be around trying to get him back. Chloe proceeds to bash Sami. Nicole is sure that Sami still has a disgusting crush on EJ and when she wants something she doesn't back down. Chloe tries on a wedding gown now. Nicole and the sales lady gush over it but Chloe likes it but doesn't love it. Chloe wants a dress where when Lucas sees her time will stand still. She wants everything to be perfect. She wants Lucas to know they'll have a wonderful life and she'll love and cherish him forever. Nicole wonders if it's Lucas or herself she's trying to convince. Chloe repeats that her love for Lucas is real and true. Nicole knows her guilt is real and true. Is it possible that she might be in love with someone else. Chloe insists she isn't in love with Daniel. Yes they had an affair with Daniel and it was intense but the man she wants to marry is Lucas. She repeats that she loves him and she's going to spend the rest of her life with him.


Police station: EJ comes into Roman's office. He wants to know how Roman and the feds could allow this Rafe guy to be Samantha's sole protector. He clearly has an ulterior motive. He crossed the line both personally and professionally. Sami comes in and says no EJ that would be you. What the hell is your problem? Sami is shocked to hear that EJ is filing a complaint. EJ tells her it wasn't meant for her ears. He tells Roman he'll check in with him later. Sami says no. Agent Hernandez did a great job protecting her. EJ doesn't wish to discuss this with her. Sami says they will talk - what is his problem with Rafe? He doesn't think it's appropriate for her to be having some kind of relationship with her bodyguard. Sami wants to know how he knows - was he at the safe house? He wasn't but he was at her house last night. Sami argues that makes it irrelevant because he's not her guard now, he's her friend and he can be as appropriate or inappropriate as he chooses. EJ says she's being ridiculous. Sami replies that what is ridiculous is him criticizing that man because he did everything he could for her. He risked his life, his career, his health, everything to keep her safe. She wouldn't be alive right now if it weren't for him. Roman asks Sami if she came there for a reason. She wants him to put in a good word for Rafe with his superiors. Roman gets a call. He tells her they'll talk about this later and leaves. Sami asks EJ what he has against Rafe. He has nothing against him. He just finds it disconcerting that someone in his position is allowed to get personally involved with her. Sami knows what this is about. He saw them kiss, didn't he?

Sami mutters that she's only been back one day and he's already acting like a total jerk. He asks her to calm down. She wants to know if he'd be calm if he found out someone was syping on him. He insists he wasn't spying. Sami tells him that she and Rafe were having a private moment. EJ thinks they should have waited for him to leave first. She reminds him they were in the hallway. EJ knows - the entire building could have seen them. Sami scoffs. EJ's point is that he's trying to protect her. Sami says 'from Rafe' - you don't even know him. He asks if she knows Rafe. Does she know where he comes from, does she know where he lives, does she know anything about his family, does she even know how to say his name? How much does she know about this guy? Sami says it's none of his business. EJ scoffs - I suppose all that matters is that she's madly in love with Rafe. Sami calls him a nervy bastard - that wasn't a question, it was a statement. First of all it's none of his business and secondly Rafe is a hell of a lot better man than any of the guys she's been with in the past couple of years that she thought she was madly in love with but it's too late to change history, isn't it? EJ asks her to say that again - LOL!. Sami wants to know why he's so curious about who she loves or doesn't love? She knows the answer to that - Johnny. EJ says yes Johnny and you by extension as his mother. Her well-being affects their son so he has a vested interest in who she is hooking up with. Sami wants to know if he could be any less tasteless. EJ says if she doesn't want to talk about her feelings for Rafe that's her prerogative - he won't ask again. He's about to leave when Sami stops him. She changed her mind. He's right. What affects her affects their son so he does have a right to know. The truth is she kissed Rafe because she has feelings for him.

EJ mutters finally an honest answer. She always did have questionable taste in men. Sami says how dare he - he's the one marrying with Nicole with her history. That's EJ's cue to leave. Sami goes on saying Rafe risked his life for her not to mention what he did for Allie and Johnny. All the time Sami is singing Rafe's praises EJ is putting Rafe down. When Sami says Rafe was stabbed EJ says he doesn't care. Sami says Rafe is a good guy, a great guy - she's not going to stand there and let EJ belittle him. EJ says so would you like to have a relationship with this amazing guy? EJ knows that when she pursues something she's like a dog with a bone - he's sure she'll be successful. Sami says she doesn't pursue men - not anymore. Sami wonders what is keeping her dad. EJ has to leave. He tells Sami to tell Roman it's not urgent anymore.


Brady pub: Nicole and Chloe are at the pub. Nicole is sorry she upset Chloe earlier. A waitress comes to take their order. Chloe is just going to have coffee because she's having lunch with Kate. Chloe is going to show her some pictures of her dress. Nicole wonders if Kate will be upset that Chloe didn't take Kate along. Chloe respects Kate's opinion but this is her wedding and she made her choice. Nicole mutters in both the man and the dress. Chloe is happy with both choices. Nicole tells her to be sure because she is closing in on the point of no return. Somehow Nicole now has Sami's baby with her. Chloe's cell rings. She left her credit card at the bridal salon - she has to go and get it. Nicole is going to call EJ when the waitress comes over and asks if she can hold the baby. Nicole asks her to watch the baby because she has to make a call and she isn't getting any reception inside. She goes out the front door and Sami comes in from side. Sami takes the baby from the waitress as Nicole peers through the window and glares.


Cheating Heart: Hope comes in - Max says if you're here to do damage control for Bo... She isn't there to make excuses - how he treated him was wrong. She says Bo is dealing with some issues that she can't get into. He is sorry. Max asks why Bo isn't here saying that. Hope explains that she wanted him to deal with Chelsea so she told him she would talk to him. He really is sorry - can Max forgive him. He can. Hope says now all they have to do is hope that Chelsea is as forgiving as he is.


Waterfront - Part 2: Hope encounters Daniel at the end of his run. She asks if he is okay. He is. She says he's a terrific doctor but a really bad liar. She apologises for intruding on his privacy. He says she was just being friendly. She asks if he seen the article in Salem Style magazine - he's listed as one of Salem's most eligible bachelors. Daniel says he's not eligible. Hope says she hopes that means he has someone in his life and that she makes him happy. She stops herself - she's intruding again. She tells him that he's a good man. He was wonderful with Bo when he was sick. She hopes that Daniel knows her intrusiveness comes from a very caring place. He knows that. They part ways. Chloe comes along and sees Daniel (his back is to her). She turns to leave and runs into Brady. Brady asks her where's the fire - where are you going? She looks at Daniel - Brady looks at Daniel and puts the pieces together.


DiMera mansion: Just as EJ is entering his cell rings. It's Roman. He tells EJ that the topic of Rafe Hernandez is off limits. EJ asks if he can at least tell him if he's going back to his job in Washington. Roman doesn't know but he is going to make some phone calls on Rafe's behalf - see if he can pull some strings. EJ is happy to hear that. After the call EJ recalls Rafe and Sami kissing and mutters the sooner he gets back to Washington the better.


Preview: Stephanie to Philip - Yes, you're handsome. Yes, you're a great kisser but I would be a total idiot to ever trust you again. Melanie to EJ - Give me my money and I'll be out of your hair. EJ - Melanie, you're not getting another dime out of me. Sami to Nicole - None of us may want to admit it but what EJ and I had, it's still there.

Friday Mar 6

Both EJ and Philip put the screws to Melanie so now she's not going to get a dime out of the project plus she has to pay back the money EJ advanced her even though she spent it all. I really had no sympathy for her. Even Max told her she didn't think it through. She's feeling pretty sorry for herself.

Nice conversation between Brady and Chloe. Brady has obviously figured out that the woman Daniel was talking about is Chloe. He tells her that if she ever needs someone to talk to she can talk to him. As an ex-husband who is a recovering addict he's in no position to judge her.

Stephanie and Philip - a lot of the same between them but Stephanie really clarified things for Philip today - at least I think she did. She tells them it comes down to their fathers. Her father isn't a soft touch but he would never kick someone when they're down like Philip just did with Melanie. Philip is not going to apologise for being like his father - he's proud of that. Besides what went down with Melanie was just business. Stephanie says that she doesn't like how he does business. He asks her to try and access this file he needs - the tech guy isn't in. She does - she tells him something is not right.

Nicole charges back into the pub demanding that Sami give her back her baby. Sami doesn't see what the problem was - she was just holding her. Nicole snaps that she can't be trusted. Sami wants to talk to her. Nicole is going to leave - Sami asks her if she's not in the least bit interested on why EJ spent so long at her place. Nicole finally sits down. Sami says they were talking about their current situation but Sami feels it's the two of them that really need to talk. She doesn't want EJ interfering in her life. Nicole is not really receptive - she feels any interest that EJ has in Sami's life is more about Johnny than about Sami. They go back and forth. Sami wants Nicole's help - tell him to stay out of my life or he may lose the one thing he wants most. (or something similar). Nicole is upset that Sami wants her to use her child as leverage. Sami thinks they both want the same thing and that's to keep EJ out of her life. She didn't want to tell Nicole about this but EJ saw her kissing the guy that was assigned to protect her and went to make a complaint about it - he was at the police station talking to her dad. Nicole tries to shrug it off as EJ not wanting Johnny's mother involved with beefcake. Sami tells that none of them want to admit it but whatever was between EJ and her is still there. She's only telling this to Nicole to let her know that she's a formidable opponent - Nicole blusters that she is too.

Stefano runs into Kate outside the pub and asks if she will join him for lunch. They go inside after she says she's has a date - more like an opening salvo. They sit together. Stefano wonders what Nicole and Sami are talking about. He asks Kate who she is meeting. It's Chloe. Stefano says so your feelings for her have changed. Kate thinks that God sent Chloe to save her life so she would be around to save Lucas's. Stefano leaves. Chloe arrives - from start to finish Kate plays Chloe like a violin. She all but tells her she knows about Chloe and Daniel but she always puts enough of a spin on it to keep Chloe clueless. Of course as soon as Kate sees Daniel she calls him over to see a picture of Chloe's wedding dress - he can be the surrogate father and give his opinion. He says it's nice and he heads to the bar. Kate really strings Chloe along then by saying Daniel is so transparent - she saw the looks they exchanged. She knows what's going on. What's 'going on' is that Daniel didn't like the dress. Kate is going to be as honest as Chloe always is and tell her that she doesn't like the dress either - they'll go shopping for one more flattering to Chloe's figure. As she's leaving Sami calls the convent. Sr. T gushes about how adorable Grace is - everyone thinks so even that young woman that stopped by yesterday. Sami freaks - who was there?

Stefano comes home to find EJ working. EJ talks about the shares they acquired in a petroleum company (no wonder he didn't want the alternative fuels project to be developed). Stefano mentions the fact that Nicole and Sami were having lunch together. EJ doesn't really react - Stefano asks him if he trusts them. EJ feels he doesn't have a choice. Does Stefano know something he doesn't - Stefano recalls the report from Dieter about Nicole going to the convent. EJ tells Stefano that just as they predicted Melanie went straight to Philip after she left here. Stefano wonders if Philip and Victor know they are about to have things go very wrong. Nicole comes home and asks EJ what business it is of his who Sami kisses. Stefano makes a call to Dieter - he wants him to go back to the convent and find out why Nicole was there.

The preview has Philip telling Stephanie that Titan's entire database has been wiped clean and he has idea who's behind it. Melanie is whining about Philip to Brady.

Monday Mar 9

Waterfront: Brady catches up with Melanie and asks her what Philip did now. She rants and raves - in the process she drops her purse. Brady tries to help her pick everything up but she screams that she can't trust anyone especially men. She cries and asks if he saw her cell phone. He hands it to her. She comments that no one will be calling her anyway. She apologises for being a crybaby - she gets that way when things pile up on her. Brady says if she wants to talk they can sit down - he's there for her. She asks him why he's being so nice to her. He says it's because she gave Titan the Alternative Fuels Project. Melanie - do until others - Philip goes by that philosophy too that's why she doesn't have a job. Any royalties she may get from the project are years down the road and she is sure Philip will find a way to keep those from her too. She's going to drive home in that new car that she can no longer afford but Brady doesn't think she should be driving when she's so upset. He has the perfect place to go to work off that anger.


Titan - Part 1: Stephanie tells Philip she thinks she lost everything. Philip knows it wasn't her fault. Philip gets a call. He tells Stephanie the problem is company wide - all their data on both servers has been wiped clean. Stephanie wonders how that could happen. Philip recalls EJ's threats and says he has a good idea. The tech guy says they have their startup page and internet access back but everything else is gone. The tech guy goes into a lenghty explanation about how the worm duplicates itself each time a new terminal is started up - and just sits there until today when it wiped the servers clean. There may be some backup data on the server in Chicago but he doubts it. In order to get any information back he has to figure out how the worm actually worked. Philip says when they do the top priority is the Alternative Fuels Project. He tells Stephanie he's going to take care of a worm and if his father calls ... Stephanie won't tell him anything. After Philip leaves the tech guy says he does know the worm is in the system, doesn't he? Stephanie says he's talking about a different kind of worm.


DiMera Mansion: Nicole tells EJ that Sami told her that he went to her father to lodge a complaint. She also said that EJ was jealous and should be kept on a short leash. EJ kisses her. Stefano orders Dieter to find out what Nicole was doing at the convent - they both know that she hasn't found religion. Whatever his future daughter in law is hiding can be found at the convent. EJ tells Nicole that his only interest is in her. She has to get past that jealousy thing - she has his heart. This thing with Sami's bodyguard is about Johnny's security. If Rafe is her bodyguard he shouldn't be engaging in all these extra curricular activities. Nicole doesn't understand - she thought the threat was over. EJ says what about the guy that hired the hit man - what if he decides Sami is still a liability. Johnny's security is also at stake. EJ will be happy when all this jealousy stuff is done with. EJ tells her to think about their honeymoon - no Sami, no relatives, no work. He asks about her designer gown. She tells him she found the perfect dress at a boutique but she needs to give them a down payment so they hold the dress for her. EJ asks her what she did with the down payment he already gave her. Nicole talks about how expensive weddings are - does he want an accounting of what she's spent? No - he hands her another cheque. Stefano answers the door to Philip and tells him EJ is in the living room. Philip says his computer guy called it a worm, virus, whatever - worm is an appropriate word. EJ wants an apology or he'll have to face the consequences. Philip doesn't play word games - he's a man of action. EJ says what action? Philip looks at Nicole and answers - you'll see. Nicole looks very uncomfortable. EJ tells Philip it's time to leave. Nicole goes to check on the baby. After she leaves EJ tells Philip if he ever has any more baseless accusations to make do it to him alone - keep his family out of it. Philip thinks his family should know what kind of man he is. EJ states that he is a DiMera and Philip is out of his league. Philip glares at him - Stefano smiles.

Upstairs Nicole is telling all her troubles to Sami's baby. She rants about Philip thinking that she and Brady are having an affair. That's not true because she's only loved by one man and that's EJ. She tells the baby that if daddy finds out that Sami is her real mother ... she says that won't happen because Dr. Baker is the only one that knows and he's out of the picture. Your mommy held you and she didn't suspect a thing. It's a good thing you don't have to live with her - Nicole says she will die before she lets that happen. Downstairs EJ picks up the phone so Philip asks if he calling the police. EJ has a much better way of handling the situation. Philip says that he and his father have gotten away with a lot of stuff over the years but this time he crossed a line. Industrial espionage and corporate sabotage are federal crimes - 30 years minimum. Philip - I hope you can handle prison pretty boy. EJ asks if he is finished. Philip answers not by a long shot and leaves. Stefano claps. Nicole comes down as Stefano is cackling about Philip quaking in his Gucci's. Nicole comments that he found all those threats and insults amusing. He says it's a guy thing. Nicole asks if she gets to know why Philip was so upset. EJ says it's not important. Stefano changes the subject - lately he never gets to see his new grandchild. EJ says they took her for a check-up yesterday. She's coming along wonderfully. Stefano says obviously Mary is doing an excellent job. He is glad they assigned her to the nanny chores because this way Nicole is free to come and go as she pleases. EJ says they both come and go - parenting is a joint enterprise. Stefano thinks the baby looks amazingly like Giovanni. So does EJ - Nicole stews.

Nicole goes upstairs. EJ and Stefano toast a great day to be a DiMera. Stefano mentions that Nicole seems stressed. EJ attributes it to Samantha's return. EJ doesn't know what the two of them talked about but it seems pretty obvious that the witness protection program has wreaked complete havoc with Sami's life. Stefano thinks it's a shame she had to go into hiding - life can be so cruel. EJ states that he's not going to let Samantha's problems interfere with his and Nicole's happiness. Nicole is again talking to Sami's baby. She declares that she misses her little Grace. Why is Sami telling people she's dead? Why would she leave her at a convent to be raised by the nuns. She's going to find out what Sami is up to and she's going to find a way to take care of both of her girls.


Convent: Sami barges in - who the hell was the woman that held Grace and what was she doing there. Sr T tells Sami not to swear. She says the woman was there to see her not Grace. Sami notices that Grace isn't in there. She asks where she is. Sr T tells Sami that Sister Gabriel took Grace for a ride around the convent grounds. Sami isn't comfortable about some strange woman holding Grace. Sr T knows the woman was lying about her name. Sami wonders what that woman really wanted. Sr T tells her to calm down - a lot of people don't give their real name when they come for guidance. Sami thinks she is crazy to think she can pull this off but that family finds out everything. Sr T says they'll pray that this time will be the exception. Sami admits that at one time she was going to tell Grace's father the truth but then she was reminded why she can never do that. She's glad she stuck to her guns. She doesn't know what she'd do if they ever found out. Sr T asks Sami why Rafe is in trouble - he's such a fine young man. Sami complains about the FBI's stupid rules - Rafe bent a few. Sr. T is sure that they'll change their minds. Sami doesn't think so that's why it's so important that no one finds out that she's hiding Grace here. Rafe helped her with that and if the FBI found out ... St T would hate for him to lose his job. Sami says it would be even worse if the child's family found out that he had helped her. Unless you're a nun you don't cross that family and live to tell about it.Sr T brings Grace in. Sami holds her and talks to her. Sami tells her she met this other little baby - she's pretty but not as pretty as you. Sr T asks if this other mother is a close friend. Sami says hardly - more like a mortal enemy. She got so emotional holding the baby. Sr T thinks that is understandable - it was because she misses her little girl. Sami thinks it's also because she realised that poor innocent baby was going to be raised by such a b ... witch. Sr T comments that nothing has been worked out yet. Sami is trying to figure out a way to bring Grace home but there's so many things she has to explain. Sami says that coming here was a really big risk. Every time she comes it's harder and harder to leave. Sami says goodbye to Grace promising her that they'll all be family soon.


Brady Pub: Roman calls Stefano and says he wants to see him at the station in 30 minutes to question him about the mayor's killing. Stefano has answered his questions already. Roman says they have new information. They talked to the killers known associates and now they want to talk to him. Stefano says his time is valuable. The mayor was killed on his doorstep so his main concern was the safety of his family. Now the killer has been killed justice has been done. Roman says no justice won't be done until they catch the man who hired the killer. Stefano will come in when Roman gets a subpoena - he hangs up. After the call Stefano (who is in his office at the DiMera mansion) makes a call - get in touch with our friend in St Louis. Tell him to destroy any trace of any kind of ties he might have had with the idiot that took care of their illustrious mayor permanently. He wants results within a week or you'll be added to the list. He hangs up muttering 'I can't believe the incompetence.' Sami greets her father - there's something she wants to talk to him about. First there's something he's concerned about that he wants to talk to her about. He doesn't like that she's alone in the townhouse with two small children. Sami says she's okay - the hit man is dead. Roman points out that the guy who hired the hit man isn't dead and he has indications that Stefano is the one who hired him. Sami rants about that scumbucket. Roman tells her not to trust Stefano or EJ - be very careful. Sami won't. She says Will is there with her. Roman says he's only 16 - he warns her to stay alert. She will. She wants to talk to him about Rafe - she needs a really big favour. Sami gushes about all the heroic things Rafe did for her. Roman tells her she doesn't have to sell Rafe to him - anyone that does what that guy did to save his daughter deserves a medal in his book. Sami asks him to put in a good word with the ISA. He did but it's not what it used to be with Homeland Security in place - FBI is still the alpha dog. Roman knows Rafe is under review and he could be cut loose. Sami asks if that happens can you get him a job at the Salem PD. Roman tells her there's a hiring freeze on besides Rafe's not exactly a by the book kind of guy. Sami thinks as commander he can pull strings. Roman feels that all Rafe will get is a reprimand and before long he'll be given a new assignment. He'll move on - he'll be fine. He also thinks Sami needs to move on. Sami is working on that - picking up the pieces. Roman asks her what her plan is? She recalls a moment with Rafe. She says it's up in the air right now.


Cheating Heart When they arrive Melanie tells Brady her brother is the bartender here and she's under-age. He says they're not there for the drinking. She asks if they're going to tie Philip to a chair and bust bottles over his head. Brady actually has a game of darts in mind. They're playing the game picturing people's faces on the dart board ... Brady's cell rings. It's Nicole. He has to help her. She needs him to do something for her now - it's life or death. Philip has flipped out - he's here talking about something with EJ. She thinks it's that stupid fuels project. Brady thought that was a dead issue. So did Nicole but Philip came storming in here. She's afraid that Philip might go back on his word and tell EJ that they have some kind of secret. Something is going on at Titan - she wants Brady to find out what it is and report back to her. She needs to know if she has something to worry about. Brady makes a call and finds out what happened. Brady tells Melanie he has bad news. He just talked to an IT guy at Titan and a virus got into their computer and destroyed all their data. That doesn't sound right to Melanie - they have virus protection and a firewall. Brady says they don't how but everything is gone including the specs to the fuel project. The bottom line is with EJ deciding he's not going to touch it and Titan unable to, her project is gone. Brady brings Melanie a diet soda - drink up - she'll feel better. She just lost her project to a black hole - she doesn't think diet soda will do the trick. Brady points out that she had already blown it with EJ, now with Philip - chances of making big bucks off the project were wafer thin. Melanie says it was the only thing left she had of her Dad's and the only good thing he'd ever done. Nick trusted her with this project - it was supposed to change the world. Brady comments that she really does care regardless of the paycheque. He doesn't think she gets enough credit for who she really is. He has to get to Titan and see what's going on.


Titan - Part 2: Philip is back. Surely one of the 15 engineers they had working on that project must have copied the specs on to a disk or made a photo copy. Stephanie is checking on that but they're all at a conference in Chicago so she hasn't heard back from them. The tech guy says he was going to isolate the worm and work backwards to restore the data but unfortunately after the worm destroyed the data it destroyed itself. Philip tells him to get back to work and find the damn copies. Stephanie asks what she can do. Philip answers nothing. She knows he's worried that his dad will blame him for this. Philip shrugs - his dad blames him for everything. She asks if he has any ideas. He's going to fix things. He sweeps off his desk - he's going to kill EJ DiMera.


Preview: Sami to Rafe - You could be in big trouble, couldn't you? Rafe - If I had to do it all over again I would. Kate to Daniel - If someone had reason to stop Chloe and Lucas's wedding ... Brady pub - Part 1: Chloe tells Lucas they should elope. They can fly to Las Vegas tonight, book a honeymoon suite, find a wedding chapel and tomorrow she would be Mrs. Lucas Horton - what could be better than that? Lucas wants to know what has gotten into her. They can't elope. She asks why not. Lucas - we told my mom ... Chloe doesn't care about her. This wedding is starting to feel like it's more important than what really matters - which is you and me. Lucas reminds her that she wanted the big wedding with Allie as a flower girl and her family there. Chloe says they can have a party later - she just wants to get this done. Lucas gets indignant - this is just something to scratch off your to do list? She didn't mean it that way - she just wants to get married to him as soon as possible. Lucas isn't buying it. It feels like it's coming out of the blue just like when she broke off the engagement. He reminds her they were going to be honest with each other - is there something she's not telling him? Lucas notices that Chloe is looking at Daniel and asks her why she is doing that. She isn't - she's looking at everyone in the pub - she doesn't think they should have this conversation here. They should talk alone - let's get out of here. They leave.

Hope is having lunch alone when Daniel comes in. She tells him that she was supposed to have lunch with Kay but she got called to the hospital. Kay has a job and important things to do - her, not so much. Daniel notices Lucas and Chloe talking and asks if he can join her. Hope says sure but warns him that she isn't very good company. Daniel wasn't last night either but she listened to him - he's returning the favour. Dan watches Chloe as Hope talks. He asks Hope if she thinks she should look for something else. Hope can't see herself being anything but a cop. They agree that the two of them don't have jobs - they have obsessions. Daniel doesn't think it's fair though - she didn't do anything wrong. Hope claims she did. Kay could have died - it was her job to protect her. Dan compares this to his oath to first do no harm - he's lost patients - you just have to find a way to forgive yourself. Hope comments - like you're so good at that. She adds that he's upset with himself over something. She reminds him she's a really good interrogator.

Outside the pub Lucas just wants Chloe to tell him whatever it is that she isn't telling him. She claims that it's all this stuff for the wedding - it doesn't really matter, does it. It's not important. Lucas says honestly this is beginning to feel like Sami again. When Sami sped up the wedding it was because she was playing him. He's not saying that's what she is doing, he's just saying that's what it feels like because she's not telling him why she wants to elope. Where is all this coming from? Chloe says he almost died. He thinks that's a reason to get insurance, not get married. She wants them to commit to each other. He thought they had. Chloe gets huffy - if he doesn't want to get married right now maybe he doesn't want to get married at all. She walks away.


Waterfront - Part 1: Sami is on the phone with Sister Theresa. She is bringing her a camcorder because she doesn't want to miss any more moments like Grace sitting up on her own. Tell Grace I'll be there soon. Will asks - who's Grace? Sami tells Will she said Rafe - the guy who assigned to her case when she was in the Witness Protection Program. Sami doesn't want to talk about that - she wants to talk to Will. It seems like she's hardly seen him since he returned. Will replies that's because she's never around. Sami deduces that he's mad at her. He understands that she's busy. Sami tells him he has to know how important he is to her. When he left Salem she was heartbroken - she's so happy he's back. He gets that she's busy. She claims she isn't busy - she's preoccupied. She knows that isn't fair to him. Will says she seems 'that way' - like right before something bad or she thinks something bad is going to happen. Sami mutters that she thought she hid it so well. She blames it on the Witness Protection Program - it was stressful. She feels like she didn't get to welcome him back. She doesn't have to do that - if something is going on he wants to know. Sami claims nothing is going on. Will - like I said you're too busy. Sami says no - her cell rings and she checks it. Will claims he's busy too. Sami says she just had to check to see if it was about the twins. Lucas says he has to go and get his phone from the cabin. He'll call her later.


DiMera mansion - Part 1: Nicole opens the door to go out with Sami's baby to find Dr. Baker standing there. What the hell is he doing there. He reminds her of that saying - the truth will set you free. That's what he is going to do for her. Nicole claims the word free has nothing to do with him. She tells him to go - she doesn't like him. He doesn't like her but he has a grudging respect for her. Nicole says she is not afraid of him - she got away with everything - no one suspects a thing. Dr. Baker asks if she thinks he didn't have something to do with that. She got the man of her dreams and his daughter - not necessarily her daughter though. Nicole declares she won't let him take them away from her. He tells her he's leaving town - he had to shut down the clinic. Nicole has a few sarcastic remarks for him. He has an offer in Detroit and other offers as well. He just has to figure out where he wants to be. He guesses this is goodbye. Nicole says no this is prelude to goodbye - he's not leaving town without attempting to hit her up for money. He doesn't want her money - he wants something much more important - an invitation to her wedding. Nicole starts spewing refusals and insults - Dr. Baker laughs - he was just pushing her buttons. Nicole says so you're really leaving and he's done blackmailing her? This is ending awfully easy. Dr. Baker will take comfort in having something to do with that. He says goodbye and then tells the baby to have a good life - it's going to be interesting. He leaves.


Police station - Part 1: Bo has another vision of Hope in bed with another man. Roman walks into the office and comments that Bo looks like he wants to hit someone. Bo claims it's the budget. Roman leaves him to it and goes out to the outer office to talk to Rafe. He heard he was there to see him about a job. He's sorry the FBI let him go - he did put in a good word for him. Rafe appreciates that sir. Roman claims it was nothing especially after what Rafe did for his daughter. He was doing his job sir. Roman tells him that is enough with the 'sirs' - he's beginning to feel like a drill sergeant. Rafe just wants him to know that he's applying for the job on his own merits. It wasn't his idea for Sami to go above Roman's head and call the mayor. Roman - what the hell did Sami do? Abe enters Bo's office and can tell Bo isn't in the best of moods even though Bo claims that everything is just peachy. Abe has something for him - he hands him a file. In the outer office Rafe tells Roman he didn't mean to throw Sami under the bus like that - he thought he knew. Roman should have expected something after he told her about the hiring freeze - she never takes no for an answer. Rafe thanks him for listening. Roman tells him to pull up a chair. There's nothing the mayor can do but the police department has discretionary funds to cover long range criminal investigations. When he kept that hit man from getting to Sami it's his belief that Rafe kept the DiMera's from getting to Sami. Rafe asks if he is saying that Sami's ex is involved in this? Roman isn't sure about EJ. He's much more interested in his father, Stefano DiMera. Rafe would be more than highly motivated to help Roman do that.


Brady pub - Part 2: Hope tells Daniel she's thinking of doing some work for the Horton Foundation so she'll probably be seeing him around the hospital. He asks if she is sure there is no chance of her getting her job back. Hope says absolutely not just as Abe walks in. She greets him and tells him that she was just telling Daniel that she'll be doing some work for the Horton Foundation - she already talked to Lexie about it. Abe asks if she is sure she'll have time. Hope shrugs - that's what I have is time. Abe says that's over with - he appealed the Review Board's decision - she's been reinstated - that is if you want your job back. Hope is thrilled. She hugs him and tells him he's the best mayor and an even better friend . Daniel excuses himself after congratulating Hope. Bo comes in. Hope has news - Bo thought Abe was going to wait until he got there. Hope realises that he already knew. Abe says everyone knew that she shouldn't have been let go. He's going to leave the two of them alone. Hope can't believe this was going to happen. Bo hated to see her go through this. She couldn't have done it without him. They kiss. Daniel watches and recalls kissing Chloe. He tells himself it's over.


Cabin: Chloe picks up her wedding dress and has a flashback to wearing next to nothing and answering the door to Daniel thinking it's Lucas. She hears someone at the door and says 'Daniel' - it's Will. He's just here to get his phone and then he'll be gone. She tells him this is his home. He knows she has to try and be nice to him but he saw the look on her face. She says it wasn't about him - she had a fight with his father earlier. She hands him her cell phone so he can call his own - he does. He doesn't hear it ring so he thinks he probably left it someplace else. Will is going to leave but Chloe wants to tell him one thing about the fight. The thing is she acted like a jerk and his dad tried to be nice about it and she acted like an even bigger jerk and then she took off. Will tells her to call him and tell him that. She will but the problem is every time she's sorry for something he acts ... Will jumps in - like it's his fault? Chloe asks him what he does when that happens. Same thing she did - take off. Chloe comments that she's not the only one that has trouble communicating with his father apparently. Will doesn't like to talk as much as his dad does - at least if he'd yell at him they'd be more like other families. Whenever he screws up it's always about what he did wrong raising him - he's nice but it's kind of a drag. Chloe says he's really nice and I really love him. Will says that's nice what with you marrying him and all. Chloe doesn't know - she told him she wanted to elope - that's what they fought about. Will says he(Lucas) wouldn't like that - nothing can go on without a thousand Brady's and Horton's watching everything. Will doesn't like that but his dad does. Chloe thinks it's important that Will know that she wouldn't hurt his father. Will says you have a phone - call him. Chloe tries - just voicemail. Will asks if she thinks he's drinking. She doesn't. Will wishes there was something he could do. Chloe says there is.


Police station - Part 2: Roman is looking through Rafe's report and asks - you never heard any communication between the hit man and the guy giving him orders? Everything is in the report. Roman hates hired killers - they're so close-mouthed. Sami comes in and sees Rafe. She asks her dad if he gave Rafe a job. Roman says no - he's filling out an application. Sami is willing to write up a letter of recommendation. Roman goes out to give them some coffee. Rafe asks Sami what's wrong - he knows her and he knows when something is wrong and he wants to know what it is. She says her kids are screwed up because she's a screw up. She talked to Sr. T and found out Grace is sitting up and she missed her. Rafe takes her in his arms and tells her everything is going to be okay - Roman returns. He asks Rafe if he finished the application. When he finds out he hasn't Roman is not surprised - Sami is a first class distraction. Bo and Hope come in and Roman hugs Hope and welcomes her back. He introduces them to Rafe. Sami tells Hope that Rafe will be working with them here. Roman says he might be if he ever finishes his application. Sami says fine although she doesn't see why he has to fill one out - he saved her life and everything. She says her goodbyes and leaves. Roman mentions some forms Hope has to fill out. While she's doing that and Rafe is finishing his application he needs to have a word with Bo. They go into the office. Hope tells Rafe that once he finishes his application she'll show him around the station. In the office Bo is reading Rafe's report. Roman was hoping for more - like a connection between the hit man and Stefano. Bo asks Roman if he thinks Rafe is keeping something from them. Roman knows he doesn't always play by the rules. He may at times have been pro-active so he can't write down what he shouldn't have been doing. He has the feeling that he's the kind of guy they need to keep an eye on - he may go to far. Bo looks through the window at Rafe and Hope talking and has his vision again.

Roman tells Bo that Hernandez did good work - Sami is alive because of him. Roman looks at Bo and says but you don't like him. Bo denies that - like Roman said there's no room in the budget. Roman does feel like he owes the guy. Bo tells him to get him a job then - just not here. Hope asks Rafe if he's kidding her. He wouldn't kid about that. Bo comes out of the office and Hope tells Bo that he won't believe this - Rafe is a first baseman. They are so going to win the division. Bo takes Rafe's application - he'll look at this and give him a call. Rafe shakes his hand and leaves. Hope tells Bo that she likes him and mentions first base again. Bo tells her not to get her hopes up - he doesn't think this is going to work out. Hope saw his application - he's everything they ... she stops - oh come on. How can you be jealous of someone you don't even know? Bo goes into his office and Hope follows - he insists he's not jealous of the guy. She can ask Roman why they're not hiring right now. He admits that he had another one of these visions. Hope is sorry that keeps happening to him. He says that it's happening to them both. She thinks that they shouldn't forget how happy they were 5 minutes ago - she got her job back today. She says that Rafe is a cop just like them - he won't be happy doing anything else. Bo understands that - Roman is working on it. Roman sticks his head in the door and says he's off to court. He talked to someone in New York about Hernandez - they'll see what happens. After he leaves Bo shuts the door and closes the blinds - it's to welcome her back. They kiss.


Waterfront - Part 2: Nicole sees Lucas and tells him he can tell Chloe that she just found something that might work as Joy's junior bridesmaid dress. Lucas doesn't think Joy will need that dress and he doesn't think he needs a tuxedo - he'll probably just wear a straight-jacket. Nicole asks him what he did this time. He doesn't have a clue. Chloe decided out of the blue that they should elope tonight and when he didn't act happy about it she assumed that he didn't want to get married and stormed off. Nicole says that Chloe is very emotional these days. Lucas asks if she know why that is. Nicole shrugs - does it really matter? She has to leave to get the baby home. Lucas wants to take a little peek at her - he comments that the baby looks exactly like Allie did at that age. Nicole gets huffy and Lucas calls her on it - Allie was a beautiful baby. Nicole is going to leave just as Sami comes along. Sami isn't in the mood for Nicole. Nicole says that she and EJ talked and his account of what happened is different than Sami's. Sami is so pathetic for trying to cause trouble when all EJ was doing was trying to protect his son. Lucas comments - you really do have it all, don't you Nicole - a rich fiancé, a beautiful baby and a bitchy attitude. Lucas leaves. Sami asks Nicole if she got EJ to leave her alone. Nicole says if she wants EJ to back off she'd better listen to her. EJ is not interested in her - he just doesn't want her involved in a relationship with the newest of her long line of losers. Sami says Rafe is hardly a loser. Nicole says it doesn't matter - EJ doesn't like him and he doesn't want a loose cannon like Rafe hanging around his son. Sami scoffs - oh right but I have to put up with you. Nicole says this isn't about her. If Sami wants to force the issue EJ won't back off - if she wants EJ off her case she'll have to get used to living like a nun. Sami says that is not fair. Nicole says life is not fair - it has it's ups and downs - right now I'm up and you're down. She says she has to go - she has a baby to take care of.


Cheating Heart: Lucas sits at the bar and stares at all the bottles of liquor. Daniel comes in and asks him if he wants do that alcohol poisoning thing again. Lucas says he came here to think about Chloe. He tells Daniel that Chloe wanting to elope took him by surprise - he wanted to talk about it but she didn't - she took off. Daniel asks if he thinks that it's a bad idea. Lucas thinks it's a bad idea if he doesn't know why they're doing it. It's the same scenario as when she decided to call off the engagement. She's great. She really feels things - maybe she feels like she can't tell him but one thing is for certain - they have to be honest with each other. They can't start a relationship with secrets - he wishes he knew what to do. Daniel thinks he may be able to help him. Lucas asks him what he can do. Daniel - tell you the truth. He can talk to him about Chloe. He got to know her when they were all worried about Lucas's mom. She was his patient - she confided in him somewhat but it's more about seeing how she handled herself through all of that they ... Lucas says come to think about that's when it all started - we had trouble communicating. Daniel apologises. Lucas says it's fine - she needed someone to listen to her and you were there - I was too busy with Allie and mom. He asks if Chloe talked about him. Daniel says she mostly talked about how she loved him ... Lucas jumps in but that I let her down - he knew it! That's the trouble with all these secrets - he screwed up and he doesn't know how and now she wants to elope and he doesn't know why. Daniel says just now you said that you and Chloe shouldn't have secrets - you're dead wrong.


Brady pub - Part 3: Outside the pub Rafe gets a call - yes he did apply at Salem P.D. He completely understands - thanks for letting him know. The anti-terror task force? That's quite an honour sir but I think with my termination from ... okay - Roman Brady vouched for me? Really. No I don't see any problem with that. I can move to New York. There's nothing keeping me here.


DiMera mansion - Part 2: Nicole is so full of herself - she tells Sami's baby that Dr. Baker left town and she put Sami back in her cage. Her wedding is going to be just perfect.


Waterfront - Part 3: Rafe finds Sami sitting on the bench - what's wrong? You sounded upset on the phone. Sami goes crying into his arms. She knows she shouldn't and she doesn't want to but she needs him - she really, really needs him.


Preview: Will to Chloe - My parents, they're supposed to be together okay. Chloe - They've both moved on. It's not going to happen. Kate to Victor - I just want to tell him that she's a conniving little slut and mommy will not let you marry her. Sami to Rafe - I can't calm down and I can't keep doing this. Nicole (on her cell) - What do you want? Why are you calling me here?

DiMera mansion: EJ comes home and finds a note and a bottle of champagne. He goes upstairs where Nicole is all tricked out to seduce him. They have sex after they declare their love for each other. Nicole talks about all the times she schemed and planned and had to have things or she would just die she never imagined this - a man and a baby she loves. (I started laughing so hard at her lies that I missed the stuff EJ was saying ). EJ is sleeping when she gets a call - what do you want? Why are you calling me here?


Titan: Kate comes to talk to Victor - she needs to talk to him about Chloe. She rants about Chloe having the nerve to show her a picture of her wedding dress at lunch - she almost lost it. Victor deduces that Chloe still has no idea that Kate isn't thrilled about the wedding. Kate scoffs - she would go at Chloe with a machete to stop this wedding. Victor wants to know what Chloe did to incur her wrath. She tells him that Chloe slept with another man with her son's ring on her finger. Victor takes it that Lucas doesn't know about this. He doesn't and Kate doesn't know how he'll take it - how it will affect his self-esteem. Victor - he has some? Kate was going to try and fix him up with another woman but he's so crazy in love with that whore - it's ridiculous. She is worried about what this will do to him. Victor asks what he can do to help. Kate has two goals. One is to make sure they don't marry because Chloe is not going to get a penny of Lucas's money and two is to make her suffer intensely. Victor asks when the wedding is? Kate scoffs that Chloe is too ethereal to do anything as mundane as setting a date - the whole thing is so sordid. She breaks off the engagement, drives him to drinking and then runs back to him declaring her undying love. Lucas is so wrapped up in her she has no idea of how to make him see Chloe for who she really is aside from telling him the truth - he's going to be so humiliated. Victor thinks that is better than being married to Chloe - heck, botulism is better than being married to her. Victor thinks she is right - telling Lucas the truth is the only way to get him to open his eyes but he suggests that instead of her telling him she arrange for him to find out the truth for himself. Kate says okay - she wonders how much time she has.

Kate doesn't want to speak against Lucas but he's really had a string of romantic disasters and she's beginning to resent the fact that she has to be careful of his feelings and that she has to protect his fragile pride. She doesn't want to play games anymore. She just wants to tell him that she's a conniving little slut and mommy will not let you marry her. Victor shrugs - and then he'll never speak to you again. Kate knows - she's has to go back to the old strategies. She'll have to arrange for him to find out the truth and she'll have to make sure that she's sympathetic and shocked. It may be less exhausting to just shoot her. Victor points out that by shooting her Chloe would only suffer for a moment whereas she can arrange for her to live the rest of her life in sorrow and humiliation. The first thing she needs to decide is how she is going to arrange for Lucas to find out the truth. Kate thinks she knows what she needs to do. She leaves. Victor smirks - Chloe, you're not going to know what hit you.


Cabin - Part 1: Chloe wants Will to tell Lucas that the idea of all the Horton's and Brady's watching - that's the reason she wants to elope. Will says no way. Chloe asks if he doesn't want them to elope or is it that he doesn't want them to marry at all. Will points out that he's 16 - he's not going to talk to his dad about who he marries and when. Chloe apologises - he's right. Will asks her if she and his dad ever just chill because they seem way to intense sometimes. Does she think it's because there's some big problem they're not talking about? Chloe asks if he thinks she is hiding something. Will thinks they are both ignoring something - his mom. Chloe knows what it's like to really want something but when it comes to his parents it's not going to happen. Will asks if she thinks he's just a dumb kid looking for a happy ending. His parents are supposed to be together. They have two kids together - they're hooked together - not because of him and Allie - they just are. Chloe says okay - they've both moved on, it's not going to happen. Will says okay - whatever. Chloe suggests talking about it. Will complains that all they do is talk and they don't change anything. Will is leaving when Chloe stops him and tells him she's really glad he's back and she hopes that if she promises not to talk again that they can be friends. Will says he always liked her - he just doesn't understand why she wants to be a part of this family but if she still does call his stupid Dad. Chloe asks if he wants to keep looking for his phone. He'll come back later.


Cheating Heart - Part 1: Lucas - so you think Chloe is keeping something from me? Daniel didn't say that exactly. Lucas thinks that maybe Daniel is keeping something from him. Lucas thinks Daniel is talking in circles. It's not upsetting - it's confusing to him. Spit it out - be honest with me. Lucas says it's obvious he has something to say and he's searching for the right words - just say it - English is my first language. This is Daniel's take on it - Chloe is a very private person. There's a lot going on. Don't try and figure everything out and put things in a timetable like why she wants to elope - she may not know the reason herself. Trying to make her explain everything to you is just going to make her defensive so just back away. Lucas tried that and she ran away from him. Daniel tells him to think about the fact that she wants to marry you - is the how and the why really that important? She's not taking vows lightly - she's just trying to lay it out there for you. If she can't tell you why she doesn't want a big wedding is it really worth losing her over that. If he had someone like that in his life he would never risk losing her. Never. Lucas wants to know why Daniel cares about Chloe so much? Daniel answers - maybe because I was there when she thought he was dead; maybe because he was there when she was beside his bed thinking he had killed himself by drinking so much; and maybe because he was there when she she said she would give your mother bone marrow right after he had told her how dangerous it was - just maybe he could cut her a freakin' break after all she has done for him. He hopes it's not too painful for Lucas to fly first class and marry this beautiful woman even if you don't know the deep psychological reason why she wants to do that. Who cares? If you don't go and find Chloe and tell her that you'll do whatever she wants - you're an idiot. Dan gets up and goes to sit at the bar - Lucas sits and thinks.


Waterfront: Rafe asks Sami what happened. She tells him that Nicole happened, EJ happened. Rafe will kill them if they threatened her. Sami says no you can't go near them and now I can't go near you. Rafe asks what that is supposed to mean. Sami continues and she can't go near her own daughter and she can't take this anymore. Rafe tells her to calm down and tell him what happened. When she saw him with dad and realised that he would be working with him she was so happy ... Rafe jumps in and tells her she jumped to a conclusion there. She was thinking everything was going to be okay and then Nicole ... it's stupid because she hates her and hates it but she's right. Nicole said that EJ doesn't like him (Rafe) and if she wants him to stay out of her life she has to stay away from him (Rafe). She can't have EJ watching her because he'll catch on about Grace. She has to bring her home - she really wants her back but she doesn't want to lose Rafe either. Rafe tells her to take some deep breaths and calm down. She can't calm down and she can't keep doing this. She's going to get Grace. Rafe stops her - she can't go and get Grace. Sami raves - this is not his decision ... He tells her to just listen to him for one second. There are things they need to talk about and sort through. He talked to her father today and he thinks the DiMera's are responsible for the mayor's assassination and for sending that guy after her. He cautions her not to tell her Dad that he told her this. Sami - and you believed him? Rafe - yeah. Sami swats him ... LOL! She goes on a rant - she's been telling him that for months but what - I'm just paranoid, I'm just stupid, I don't have a badge - now you believe him. Rafe asks her if she's done then tells her she was right about the DiMera's. And she was right about Grace - no one can know she exists especially the DiMera's. Sami says that is what she's been telling him but he doesn't understand what this feels like. She can't keep doing this. Rafe knows that and more than anything in the world he wants her to have Grace back in her arms but when that happens it has to be forever.

Rafe has been thinking since he talked to her dad. He talks about how Sami hated being in that safe house and how she hated not being able to see her kids or do what she wanted to do. They are responsible for that - the DiMera's did that to her then and they're doing it to her now. She still can't see Grace and Johnny has to spend half his time with a family she has every right to despise - what about EJ? She can't say things or see people to upset this precious guy. Sami says maybe it's not just about him. Rafe argues - it is him. A man would walk out of that house - he would say goodbye to a father like that. Rafe can see Sami is upset with his remarks so he says fine - we won't go there. EJ is a swell guy but she's still being help captive by the DiMera family. Sami says he's right. Rafe says that is no way for anyone to live. Sami asks what is she supposed to do? She can't leave Salem, Johnny and Allie are here and she can't go and get Grace - he just proved that. Rafe says not yet but there's something they can do to change that. Take the DiMera's down. Prove what they did to the mayor and you - break them so they can get her freedom and she can have her life back. Sami says that is the sweetest thing ever but he has to know they have tried that. Her father, my uncle - they've tried to take him down and make him pay for everything he's done to them. Rafe says this time ... Sami knows it can happen but what if takes forever. She can't be away from Grace waiting forever. Rafe asks - what if the DiMera's find out you have EJ's child? Sami says what if they find out that she has a child but they don't find out it's EJ's. What if she adopts? She can say she met this baby in the convent that she bonded with because she missed her kids so much. And Lucas will think it's because she lost a baby. Rafe asks if she doesn't think EJ would be suspicious. Sami thinks he'll be busy with his own baby besides we'll be very careful. Rafe - we??? Sami says yeah - she can't do it without him. He puts his arm around her. Sami says she thought going into the Witness Protection program was perfect - she got to hide her pregnancy - it was going to be so easy. But being away from her kids was the hardest thing she ever did. It was horrible being separated from them. Rafe kind of picked up on that. Sami - but I'm back now and I know they're okay and they haven't forgotten me and they're happy so ... so, the best part is I met you.

Rafe turns to leave - Sami asks if something is wrong. He says no. She apologises - she moved too fast ... she didn't mean ... Rafe says it's not that it's just that there are things he has to work out today. Will comes along and says to Sami - you're still here. She left and came back. She introduces him to Rafe - he's the one that protected her when she was in the Witness Protection program. Rafe says it's nice to meet you - I heard a lot about you. Will loves FBI agents knowing all about him. Rafe tells him not to worry - he's not an agent anymore. It was all good stuff - she's very proud of you. Will thinks she must have made things up then. Sami says that Will has his father's sense of humour. Will is going to leave but Sami asks him to go have coffee or something. Will says three's a crowd. Rafe says it's okay I'm leaving. Sami says - right now. He told her. She didn't think he meant now. He turns her to face him - they'll talk later. It will be okay. Sami thanks him - she feels a lot better now. Rafe tells Will it was nice to meet him and leaves. Will says sarcastically sure guys love meeting their girlfriend's 16 year old kid. Sami says they're just friends. Will asks her if she really thinks he's going to buy that. Sami says Rafe was guarding her - they were together every day in that safe house - we're friends. Will says and co-conspirators - that goodbye was a little too intense for just friends. Sami admits it's a little awkward talking about her personal life to her son ... Will says try talking to your Dad's fiancée who tells you that your Dad has moved on ... he guesses she has to. Sami says - and that bothers you? Will says it has nothing to do with him. Dad and Chloe - he thinks they are really weird but he's not worried about them. Sami - but you're worried about me and Rafe? Will isn't stupid - he's seen this before. Sami doesn't know what he's talking about. Will says just now - the two of them - you're up to something and you're getting him to help you. Sami insists everything is fine. Will doesn't think so - whatever she's up to - it's going to go wrong - it always does. He leaves.



Cabin - Part 2: Chloe is leaving Lucas a message. She's so sorry that she freaked out earlier. She wants to ask him if she could have another chance. Lucas comes in and says he was going to ask her the same question. They hug. She apologises for screwing everything up. Lucas says she didn't. He loves her and he can't wait to marry her. He'll marry her anyway she wants to be married. He can't wait for her to be Mrs. Lucas Horton and he doesn't care how they get there. Chloe doesn't want to just roll over him - she wants to work things out with him. Lucas will make some demands then. She has to show up to the wedding and say I Do when she is supposed to - does she agree. She does. She mentions Will saying that he would like his family there. Lucas says it would be nice but all he wants is her. She mentions that he had asked her why she wanted to elope - they can talk about that. He doesn't want to talk anymore - he kisses her. Chloe wants him to know that she really loves him and she's going to do her best to be the kind of wife he deserves. This makes Lucas think that he made the right choice. On the way home he stopped and reserved the jet. They're going to Vegas tonight. Chloe is thrilled - she thanks him.


Cheating Heart - Part 2: Kate thanks Daniel for waiting for her. She heard from a very reliable source that Chloe is having an affair with another man - tell me it's not true. Daniel thinks someone is just trying to stir up trouble - who is this source? Kate won't say. Daniel says how did this person know about this. She saw Chloe and this man together discussing their affair. It's awful but in a way it makes sense. It explains why she was waffling, it explains why she broke off the engagement, it explains why Lucas is drinking. Daniel asks if she thinks Lucas knows. She doesn't think Lucas could hide that kind of pain. She doesn't understand how Chloe could do this to him - he's so devoted to her; he's given her everything. Daniel says she gave you something too - she gave you your life back so no matter what the truth is don't you think you owe her a little good will? Kate takes that to mean that he thinks it's true. He didn't say that. She thinks it's true because it explains a lot. Daniel asks if the source said who the man was. Kate answers no - just that they were very familiar and it was very intense. Kate thinks it's kind of funny but the first name that popped into her mind was his. Daniel asks her why she would think of him. She shrugs - because it makes sense. She reminds him that after she gave him his freedom she kept asking him what was going on between him and Chloe. He was tense and irritable - he isn't anymore. Daniel says she's acting like she wants this to be true - why after everything Chloe has done for her. Think about how unhappy Lucas would be if he heard her talking like this. Kate says he won't hear it from her. Daniel says then forget you heard it and let Chloe and Lucas be happy. She asks him if he thinks they can be happy. He does. Kate would have thought a man like him would have fought for Chloe. Daniel - what the hell did you say to me? Kate says it was an interrogation technique to see if it was really him. Daniel says she has a lot of nerve. She does - she says it was wrong of her. She asks if they're still friends. He doesn't know. Kate will keep it simple and honest then - are you now or have you ever been involved with Chloe?


Rafe: Rafe looks at a little notebook with the number for the anti-terror task force - insert some flashbacks. Rafe places a call and says he'll have to pass on the offer - he's going to stay right here in Salem.


Preview: Philip to Nicole - Say ta-ta to your Euro-trash lover boy because I'm going to tell him everything I know about your sleazy affair with Brady. Kate to Daniel - What if what they heard was really out of context? Daniel - What if it wasn't? Kate - So you're admitting that you're having an affair with Chloe? Lucas to Chloe - It's going to be you and me for the rest of our lives.

Cabin - Part 1: As they are packing Chloe comments on how enthused Lucas is about eloping. Lucas tells her he should have said yes when she brought it up. After everything she's done for his family he is just going to say yes, Chloe. He mentions that he had a chat with Daniel and he pointed out all this to him. Lucas says he ran into Daniel at the Cheating Heart. Chloe wants to know what they talked about. He says her mostly, Vegas, eloping and why he wasn't so down with it. Chloe asks 'and he encouraged you to do it'? Lucas answers yeah - he said you two love each other - that's all that really matters. Chloe says really? Lucas wonders if she thinks it's weird that Daniel is happy for them. It's not that it's just bizarre that Daniel would take such an interest in their wedding. Lucas thinks he cares a lot - he thinks Chloe is the 'bee's knees'. He told him to do whatever it takes to make her happy. He asks if she thinks Daniel was talking about himself or his mom - maybe he has regrets about her. Chloe says maybe - she says enough talk about Daniel. Should she pack her dress? Lucas says yes. Just because we're going to Vegas it doesn't have to be tacky. This is for them. They are going to be committed to each other - it's going to be you and me for the rest of our lives.

Chloe mentions going on a real honeymoon after they're married - maybe New York or Paris. Lucas teases that they don't have to leave Vegas to go to New York or Paris. She'd like to get away to a romantic place - a place without slot machines. Lucas says what about the kids? Will just got home - he's hardly spent any time with him. They can to New York or Paris any time they want. We don't need an exotic honeymoon to prove our love, do we? They start kissing just as Will enters and says 'this isn't weird or anything'. Lucas says haven't you heard of knocking. He didn't think he had to at his own house. He isn't staying - he just came for his phone. He remembered where he put. He takes it out of the fridge. Lucas tells him he can crash there if he wants some peace and quiet - he knows the twins can be a handful. Will notices the suitcases and a brochure on Vegas. Lucas tells him they're going to Vegas tonight - they're going to get married. Silence from Will. Lucas says I'd like to hear 'I'm happy for you, Dad'. Will looks at Chloe and says I guess you got what you wanted. Lucas says he wanted this too. Chloe tells Will she knows he was hoping for his parents to get back together but she and his dad love each other. Lucas asks if he is mad because he's moving on from his mom. Will turns to leave but Lucas stops him and asks him to come to Vegas with them - he can be his best man. Will says he just started school - he doesn't think cutting class is a good idea. Lucas tells him not to worry - it won't be for that long. Will says thanks anyway. Lucas gets a call. He tells Chloe there are mechanical problems with the plane - they can't go to Vegas until tomorrow.


Cheating Heart - Part 1: Daniel gets up to leave but Kate grabs his arm - stay or she'll make a scene. She tells him to sit down and tell her all about his new love. Daniel doesn't respond so Kate comments that he seems uncomfortable. He thinks she would be to if the circumstances would be reversed. He wants to know who her source is but she won't say - she made a promise. He wonders why that person went to her and not Lucas or Chloe. Kate says they didn't want to spread gossip. Kate then goes on to say that maybe what the person heard was out of context. Daniel asks - what if it wasn't? Kate takes this to mean he's admitting to having an affair with Chloe. He isn't - he thinks maybe someone saw them together at the hospital and misconstrued what they saw. Kate tells him that it wasn't at the hospital. She goes on to say that her son went out and got drunk and almost killed himself when Chloe broke up with him. So if he found out that she was having sex with another man she's afraid of what he might do because she's afraid not just for his happiness but his life. Daniel knows she wants to protect Lucas but it's obvious that he and Chloe love each other. Kate knows that Lucas loves Chloe but she thinks for Chloe it's less like love and more like she's tolerating him. She broke up with him less than a month ago and Kate thinks it had nothing to do with pre-wedding jitters. Daniel shrugs. Kate tells him he'll be relieved to know that she believes him now. The truth is she can't picture him with Chloe. She goes on to say that Chloe is quite common and then brings up her mother. If that is any indication of what Lucas is in for she really does fear for his future. Kate feels much better now. The thing is they'll never have to worry about Chloe feeling jealous if they get back together.

Daniel isn't sure where Kate is going with this. Kate says since she has been in remission she feels like a new woman. She wants him back in her life - she thinks they were good together. She asks if she is being too forward - did she put him on the spot. He thinks she hasn't given this much thought. She has - she thinks about him night and day - mostly at night - she pictures him lying next to her and then she's up for hours fantasizing. Does he fantasize about her? Daniel doesn't know what this is about but what he does know is that they aren't going to happen. That wasn't the reaction she was expecting - she thought they were so good together. Daniel says they're not the same people they were 6 months ago. She wonders why if they were good then why aren't they good now unless he thinks their relationship was a mistake. He says no but the way he handled it was. Kate asks him if he believes in true love - the kind Lucas and Chloe have - does he think that is the real deal? Daniel wants Chloe and Lucas to lead an enjoyable life. So does she. He tells her to take care, throws some money on the table for the drinks and lives. Kate mutters - phony creep! This wedding needs to be stopped and if Danny boy isn't up to doing it I'm going to have to do it myself.


Waterfront - Part 1: Chelsea sees Max and turns around but he stops her from going. He wants to know why she thinks they won't work. Chelsea doesn't want either one of them to be hurt and that's what is going to happen. She's not ready to talk about this but she'll call him when she is. Max asks her how she would react if he walked out on her and refused to talk about it until he was ready - it wouldn't go over well with her. If he did something to upset her ... He didn't. She admits she heard him talking to Will and he said that he couldn't wait to be a dad someday. She can never give him that - not that she's assuming they'd end up together but if they did ... she talks about what a great father he would be. Max tells her that she doesn't get to tell him what he wants and what is important to him now or in the future. This isn't her decision, it's his. He's going to tell her what he wants and what matters to him most and she's going to have to listen. It doesn't make one bit of difference to him that she can't have her own kids. Yes, one day he'd like a family ... wife, kids ... especially since they were both lucky to be adopted he doesn't have any problem with adopting a child and giving them a wonderful life. Chelsea feels the same. Max isn't saying that they'll end up together but he is sure of one thing though. He doesn't want her to tell him what he wants and needs ever again because he knows. He kisses her.


Brady Pub: Melanie is working on her laptop when Brady arrives. She asks him if her project has been salvaged. He tells her it's a disaster. Brady wants to know why she's so concerned - is it her undying loyalty to Titan? Melanie thought they were friends. Brady says that was before the fuels project vanished from the mainframe. Melanie - you think I sabotaged the files? Brady sarcastically replies - you? You're honest as the day is long, the most trustworthy woman on the planet - why would anyone suspect you? Melanie asks - why in the world would I destroy those files? Brady guesses it's because she's in bed with the DiMera's. Melanie starts to respond but he tells her to save it and gets up. He greets Travis and thanks him for coming in to work early - it's been crazy. Travis still can't believe they lost all those files. Brady says obviously somebody doesn't want Titan to be developing the fuels project. Melanie listens.


DiMera mansion - Part 1: Philip tells Nicole that she was supposed to keep an eye on EJ. He screwed him over and now it's payback time. When Nicole hears that all of Titan's files were destroyed she claims EJ didn't have anything to do with it. Philip doesn't agree. He tells her to say ta-ta to her Euro-trash lover because he's going to tell him everything he knows about her affair with Brady. Nicole starts to deny it but realises that he's hung up on her. Nicole is sneaking out when EJ wakes up. She lies and tells him she's going to get formula. EJ thinks Mary should get the formula - he wants to have sex. Nicole insists she has to go to the store - EJ is going to get Mary. Nicole whines that Mary always gets it wrong. Just as EJ is going to leave Sami's baby wakes up - Nicole declares that is a hunger cry. She tells EJ she'll be back soon. At the door Nicole is muttering into her cell - answer damn it. She gets voicemail and leaves a message. I need to see you now. I'm in major trouble with Philip.


Titan: Stephanie brings Philip coffee and asks if there isn't a hard copy of the project somewhere? Philip snaps - if there was would he be sitting in front of his computer? Does she think he's a complete idiot? He adds that someone burnt the one and only hard copy they had. She asks if he told Bo about this. He hasn't. He's not getting the police involved because he doesn't want his father to find out, call him on the carpet and bounce him out of here on his butt. He'd like to keep this from his father forever but who's he kidding ... he might as well clean out his office now. Stephanie points out that none of this was his fault - isn't there some chance his father would understand? Philip says no he nearly fired me because my tie was crooked - do you think he'd understand why I lost the company billions of dollars? He'd be right to fire him - he let him down. He says he let her down too. He thought he was this confident, can-do guy and he's not - he's sorry. She isn't. She doesn't like to see this down on himself but on the other hand it does her heart good that he doesn't have to be this macho guy with all the answers. He can stumble, be vulnerable - this is the Philip she's comfortable with. Philip says then we have a problem - he thinks they have to end this right now.

Stephanie laughs - one minute he's sad and vulnerable and the minute she calls him on it he turns into robo-Philip. Philip tells her that the side of him she likes he doesn't. That means she wants him to be something he's not. She asks - human, fallible, scared sometimes. He doesn't want to be like that - fear is weak. She asks if his father taught him that it's weak to be scared, to screw up now and then, to not know all the answers? He says yes. Stephanie says he was wrong - it's not to weak to be human. She says there a lot of bravery involved in admitting to your mistakes. Philip will admit to her that he's scared out of his wits. She tells him there's no need to be - they're in this together. Yes that means she wants to give them another shot. Philip doesn't want anyone knowing that he's fallible, he has a reputation to uphold. She won't say a word. She tells him he'll figure something out - he always does. He goes back to the computer but she shuts it off - he needs to relax. She kisses him. Philip suggests that they forget all this stuff and get the hell out of here.


DiMera mansion - Part 2: Melanie barges in and tells EJ that he's so on her list. Did he really think he was going to get away with this? EJ tells her if she's there for more money he suggests she turn around and leave - they're no longer involved in the fuels project. Melanie calls him a two-faced bastard. He says the reason they're not is because of her - she's a right royal pain in his arse. Melanie tells him to cut the bull - he never intended to develop the fuels project in the first place, did he? He pretends he has no idea what she's talking about. Melanie tells him she did her homework. She finds it interesting that nobody has heard of his connections with the big oil companies. EJ laughs. She says you played me. You made me jump through hoops to steal that formula for you ... EJ pokes her - she's been paid. Melanie says a fraction of what she would have made if this went through. EJ smiles - you forgot the formula - he laughs. He suggests she go talk to her friend Nick - but wait he's off being rehabilitated or something - such a shame. Melanie tells him this isn't over by a long shot. (Tony listens and smiles). EJ tells Melanie to get out. Melanie tells him he's so going to regret this. EJ grabs her and shoves her out the door. He goes upstairs. Tony quickly goes outside and asks Melanie if she is alright. She says she was just leaving. He says that's a shame - he was hoping they could be of some benefit to each other.


Waterfront - Part 2: Brady asks Nicole what's going on. She tells him she's in way over her head - it's that stupid fuels project. Philip thinks that EJ deleted the files which means she didn't hold up her end of the bargain which means he's going to tell EJ ... Brady jumps in about the affair that they're not having. Nicole says that won't matter. EJ will be suspicious and he won't stop digging - he'll find out about the pregnancy - she'll lose everything. Brady promises that he won't let that happen. He tells her to go home to the baby and leave the rest to him. She says he's such an amazing friend - she kisses him on the cheek and leaves.


Kiriakis mansion: They're sitting on the couch having drinks. Stephanie tells him about talking to Chelsea this morning and telling her that sometime she imagines ... she stops - she shouldn't have brought it up. Philip wants to know. She says she thinks about what it would be like if they were together for a really long time. He asks her what that would be like in her imagination. Sorry - that's all he's getting. He admits that he sometimes thinks about that too, you, me, the future. But he thinks she deserves better. Stephanie asks him if he realises what a good person he is. She thinks the reason he's so hard on himself is because his dad expects a lot out of him. Philip says he wants me to succeed. Stephanie says he wants you to be just like him but you're not. You're caring, sensitive, sweet ... that doesn't mean he's weak, it means he has a good heart. They kiss.


Cheating Heart - Part 2: Max is going through some papers - Chelsea asks him what's all that? He tells her it's the blueprints for the fuel project that Nick sent. It's a good thing he has them - he heard there was a security breach at Titan. This copy is safe - he puts it in the safe. Chelsea tells him she signed for a delivery. He asks if the paper she has is a receipt. She says no - the delivery guy just gave her his number. Some cute flirting and teasing follows. Chelsea teases him about being jealous and insecure - she throws the paper away - they kiss.


Cabin - Part 2: Kate barges in yelling for Chloe. Will says it's just me Grandma. She asks him where his dad and Chloe are. Will is guessing they are on the plane by now. Kate asks what plane. Will - Dad didn't tell you? Kate repeats loudly - what plane? Will - He and Chloe are taking a plane to Vegas. They're getting married tonight.

DiMera mansion: Nicole tries to convince Sami's baby that biology doesn't matter - she is her child. EJ comes in and says his father is concerned that the baptism isn't scheduled. Nicole whines that he's not concerned that the wedding isn't scheduled and about Stefano upsetting her every chance of he gets. She says she can handle it. She then informs him the baptism has been arranged. EJ comments that she's always one step ahead of them. Nicole says that Lexie can be the godmother. She asks him if he has any ideas for godfather. He'll talk about this later. It's his turn for visitation - Sami is waiting for him at the pub - he's going to get Johnny. EJ wants to know if he should take care of invitations. She will. EJ says - St Luke's right? Stefano walks in - St Luke's for the christening? Why not the Convent of the Holy Cross? EJ hasn't heard of the place. Nicole has but she's already booked St. Luke's. Stefano is glad to hear it. EJ steps out to make a phone call. Stefano brings up the convent again and asks Nicole why she didn't tell Elvis the truth. Nicole tries to distract Stefano with the baby. Stefano wants an answer. Why didn't she tell Elvis that not only has she heard of the convent but that she took a little trip there a few days ago. Nicole says if he wants to know why she went there he'll first have to tell her why he followed her. Stefano doesn't owe her an explanation but on the other hand she had better come clean and damn fast. She went there to do charity work. Stefano scoffs - and he's the King of Naples. Nicole insists that she works with pregnant teens - EJ knows all about it - Stefano can ask him. EJ returns - he's going to get Johnny. Stefano wants to talk business when he returns. Nicole jumps in - she suggests that they go as a family. EJ reminds her Sami is there. Nicole has an internal debate - Sami or Stefano - she chooses Sami. EJ goes to get the diaper bag. Stefano calls her a clever girl. He won't tell Elvis about her clandestine visit to the convent - not yet but they are not finished. He will get to the truth. She tells him goodnight in Spanish and leaves. Stefano mutters - wrong language, wrong move.


Waterfront: Tony meets up with Melanie. Melanie asks him what is his pitch. He wants the fuel prototype - he'd like to get it into production immediately and he has the means to make that happen. Melanie - so you are offering to develop the fuel project. He is as long as she can produce the blueprints. She asks him what's the catch. None - he thinks it's revolutionary - it has the potential to change the world. Melanie shrugs - Nick is a genius. Tony says her father was a genius as well. He tells her they have something in common. They've both wronged by family; under-valued, taken for granted, taken advantage of. That sounds familiar to Melanie. Tony goes on to say when he thinks about how much money this project could yield - she could become independent from her bartender brother and he could extricate himself from the DiMera empire and make it his own. Nothing would make him happier than to see his father and his pompous assed brother eat crow. Melanie agrees but turns down his offer. She doesn't trust him. She's sure he's a half-way decent man but she's been burned by a DiMera once. Tony understands that she has to be cautious. He's not his brother and he doesn't do business that way. Melanie has too much at stake here. Tony won't push her. It's her choice. He's sure she must have a line-up of investors. He turns to walk away. Good luck. She tells him to wait - he smiles. She may have judged him unfairly. Tony asks her to give him the benefit of the doubt. She'll work with him but on her terms. She wants the deal in writing. She wants contracts, signatures and lawyers and she wants to remain the sole owner of the patent - that's non-negotiable. Tony agrees to all her terms but before they go any further she needs him to show him a copy of the blueprints. Yes he knows that all known copies have been destroyed by a virus or burnt but he's sure she must have a copy somewhere. She doesn't have one with her but she knows where to get one. She'll call him as soon as she gets it.


Kiriakis mansion: Kate is on her cell asking when it can be fixed and says a few days isn't going to work - she has to fly out immediately. Victor comes in the room and asks if she is going somewhere. She's going to Vegas. Lucas and Chloe have decided to elope and she's going to stop them. Victor feels she should have realised this - Lucas is Chloe's meal ticket. Kate states empathically that Chloe is not marrying her son. She's going to tell Lucas that Chloe had an affair. Victor - with Daniel. Kate - you knew. Victor - what am I, an idiot? Kate tells him he can't protect Daniel. He's trying to protect her - Lucas does not need to hear the sordid details from his mother. He'll resent you forever. Kate asks him what he suggests she do. Victor tells her to stay out of it. She asks him if she's just supposed to sit back and watch Lucas's life be ruined. He wants her to weigh all her options before running off and making a damn fool of herself. Kate doesn't see how she'd be making a fool of herself. Chloe is the one that had the affair - she's the one that cheated on Lucas. Victor asks if it's her job to clean up every mess Lucas makes. Kate says yes. She reminds him that he said he'd help her. He was going to help her bring Chloe down and make her suffer - not Lucas. Kate says in order to bring Chloe down they have to bring Lucas into it - there's no way to avoid him being hurt. She's going to stop this wedding and if Lucas sees the messenger as someone that needs to be killed, so be it because time is running out. Victor mutters that is not his fault - he's been warning her for months about that damn slut. Kate asks if this is the time for the 'I told you so's'. She needs to tell Lucas about Chloe and Daniel - she needs to take that chance. Victor - or you could take my advice for a change. There are other ways that are equally effective. Kate will bite - what's his alternative - let Lucas and Chloe get married. He says yes. He'll find out about the bitch himself and file for an annulment. Kate will not let Lucas walk out on another failed marriage - a failed relationship is bad enough but she doesn't know what would happen if he goes through another divorce. Victor asks if he's that much of a wuss? Kate is going to Vegas - she asks to borrow the jet. Victor - certainly, if you don't mind crash landings. The plane is being serviced - it will be ready in about a week. Kate is not thrilled that she has to fly commercial. Victor says he's not the bad guy - it's her soon to be daughter-in-law that she needs to worry about. Kate vows that Chloe Lane is not marrying her son - one way or another she's stopping that wedding.


Lucas & Chloe: They're on the plane - Chloe isn't the best flyer so Lucas kisses her to calm her nerves. He tells her to focus on this - tonight she will become Mrs. Lucas Horton. Lucas is surprised to hear that Chloe has never been to Vegas. He tells her a bit about Vegas ending with it's one of the most romantic cities in the world. Really? He says no but it will be when they are they. Chloe frowns - she feels strange all of a sudden. She asks him 'what are we doing?' Lucas is confused - one minute she's acting like this is the happiest day of her life and the next she's acting all weird about it. She asks if it was really fair to leave for Vegas without telling his mother. Lucas tells her this is about the two of them. Chloe talks about how supportive and sweet Kate has been to her and how excited she was about the wedding. She's worried that when she finds out that they didn't invite her to their wedding that Kate will be devastated. Lucas wants her to be 100% sure about what they're doing - whatever she decides is fine with him. She wants to call Kate when they land in Vegas and invite her. She gushes about how good Kate has been to her and how she's been planning the wedding. Lucas says she may be upset at first but she'll be fine - she wants us to be happy. She's resilient. He knows Kate better than anyone - she'll be fine. Chloe says okay - let's go to Vegas and get married. Just then an annoucement is made - We regret to inform you that we have to turn the plane around and go back to Salem. Chloe - are they serious? This is why Lucas hates flying commercial. Another announcement comes on - their air traffic issue has been resolved. They are continuing on to Las Vegas. Lucas tells Chloe that if they would have to go back to Salem he would have found a Justice of the Peace there to marry them. Nothing is going to stop him from marrying his dream woman tonight.


Brady Pub: Rafe is outside talking on his cell. He tells someone he turned down the job because it wasn't in Salem. He's staying to help a friend. Inside the pub Sami is talking to Sr. T when she hears Grace crying. She asks what is wrong with Grace? Sami can't come there because EJ is coming to get Johnny - she'll call her right back. Rafe asks if everything is okay. No. She's glad he's there. She has to ask him a favour - it's about Grace. Grace has a rash and needs a special ointment. She can't take it there because she's waiting for EJ. Rafe says no problem - he'll take it for her. Sami writes out the name of the ointment. Rafe says he has to make a quick call and then he'll leave. Sami is about to call the convent when Will comes in. She's happy to see him. Will is surprised - he thought she'd be in a really bad mood because Dad and Chloe are on their way to Vegas. They're eloping. Will tells her that Dad asked him to come to Vegas with them to be his bestman but he said no. He thinks they should be alone right now. Sami - you mean Kate's not with them. Will says she didn't even know - she practically had a heart attack when he told her. Sami says they want his Dad to be happy - that's all that matters. Will agrees. Sami has a quick phone call to meet then they can talk. He wants to know who she's calling. She tells him no one important. Will knows she is hiding something - he can tell this isn't an ordinary phone call. Who does she need to talk to?

Sami insists the call is not a big deal. Rafe greets Will and senses the tension between the two. He tells Sami he'll run that errand. He's heading towards the door when he sees EJ and Nicole arriving. He recalls telling Nicole that he was the local cable guy when he was checking out the DiMera mansion so he goes out the side door. Greetings are exchanged. Sami says you brought the baby - she bends down to talk to her so Nicole turns the carriage away from Sami. EJ asks where Johnny is. Sami tells him that he and Allie are upstairs playing - her grandmother is with them. Will says he'll go and get them. Sami tells EJ that the last couple of days with Johnny and Allie - there are no words - she thanks him. Nicole asks her how she kept her sanity being away from her family all those months - she gets upset when she's away from her baby for even a minute. Sami says it's the worst thing that ever happened to her - it was torture. Nicole says of course it was - especially when they grow so fast - who would want to deal with that. She picks up Sami's baby and gushes. Nicole paces - she doesn't know why Will had to take the baby upstairs. EJ tells her everything is fine and turns to Sami but Nicole says what if she gets hungry. EJ answers her logically and then tells Sami he was very impressed with Will - the time in Europe did him a lot of good. Nicole is going to get the baby - you know how she is with strangers. Sami scoffs - strangers??? Johnny is her half-brother. Nicole says so you're grandmother scares her - she made the baby scream just by looking at her. Sami gets upset - her grandmother is better with kids than anyone she knows. Nicole disagrees. EJ tells the both of them - enough. Father Matt arrives and greets them. Nicole is glad he can perform the baptism. It's his pleasure. He says I presume you'll be there Samantha. He looks around and apologises - he assumed she'd be there because Johnny is the baby's big brother. He's sorry if he spoke out of turn. EJ says not at all - Samantha is more than welcome to attend the baptism.

Father Matt leaves. Sami tells EJ not to feel obligated. He doesn't - she's Johnny mother. She should be there. Nicole says he's right. They're all connected as family now. Will comes down - Grandmother Caroline will bring them down shortly. Nicole tells Will they were just talking about the baby's baptism - they'll save him a seat in the front row. Will says thanks. EJ says they will be in touch with all the details - it will be a joyous day - one big happy family. EJ asks Will how school is going. It's fine but he doesn't know any of the kids yet. EJ supposes that is a bit rough. Nicole is going to go upstairs and get the baby and Johnny. EJ decides to go and help Nicole. Sami says - yeah, you definitely want to protect your daughter from my creepy, evil grandmother. EJ says she's just a bit over-protective. He goes upstairs. Sami goes outside to make a call. She calls Rafe who is still at the convent. She tells him that she misses her too much. She can't do this anymore. She wants her little girl and she wants her now. Downstairs Nicole, the baby stealer, is so proud of herself as she tells the child she stole that she's all hers and she's not going to not let anyone come between us.


Cheating Heart: Melanie comes in to see Max. Max mentions that he hasn't seen her in a while. She's been laying low. If Max didn't know better he'd think she wanted something from him. She denies that. He asks her what she wants. She needs a little help - she needs to see a copy of the blueprints Nick gave him. Max says no. He asks her why she wants to see them. She says it's the only copy left - she wants to make sure it exists. Max wants to know what is going on. She says nothing - can't he just help her without there being questions. The bartender calls him over - they need cash from the safe. Melanie watches him open it - sees the envelope with the blueprints and takes off. Outside Melanie tells Tony she didn't get the blueprints but she can get them and she will.


Convent: Rafe is holding Grace. Sr T says thanks to you she's feeling better. She would have gone but their car is in the shop. Rafe doesn't mind - it gave him an excuse to see his little buddy - she's the only one that gets his jokes. Sr T asks how Samantha is. Rafe says she's okay but it breaks her heart that she can't see Grace.


Vegas - JP's office: Lucas and Chloe all decked out in her wedding gown enter. The JP asks what he can do for them. Lucas says you can join me to this beautiful woman in holy matrimony - make her my wife.


Kate & fellow passenger: The woman asks Kate if she's going to Vegas on business or pleasure? Kate - business, strictly business.


Mia: Mia is on a flight from Toyko to Chicago. She mutters - she's my baby, Nicole. Mine.


Preview: Hope to Daniel - What were you thinking about? Daniel - I was sort of wondering how doing the right thing can feel so wrong. Kate to her fellow passenger - I am going to stop him from getting married. JP to Lucas and Chloe - We are gathered here to join this couple in holy matrimony. Kiriakis mansion - Part 1: Stephanie breaks the kiss and tells Philip she really should go home. She has to be in to work early tomorrow and his father could pop in at many minute. Philip tells her he'll handle his father - they kiss. They're sitting in the dark with a bowl of popcorn watching a movie. Stephanie doesn't like the movie so she shuts the TV off - they kiss just as Victor comes in and turns the light on. Victor apologises - he didn't know anyone was home. He turns out the light and leaves them alone. Stephanie is embarrassed. Philip says his Dad likes her. They kiss again. More kissing until Victor barges in. He just talked to Brady who told him what happened at Titan. He asks Stephanie to excuse them - he needs to talk to his son alone.


Cheating Heart: Outside Melanie places a call to Tony. Does he have her cheque - she'll have the formula later tonight. Tony tells her to call when she has it. Inside Max serves Bo a green beer and Brady green tea. They make a St. Paddy's day toast. Brady asks Bo if he has any leads on the sabotage at Titan. He doesn't. Brady informs him they're entire database was destroyed - didn't Philip tell him about it. He didn't. Brady brings Bo up to speed on what happened. Bo asks if there is any way to retrieve the data. Most of it was on hard disk except for some correspondence and some other stuff. They were working on the Alternative Fuels project - everything on the database is gone and that one hard disk was destroyed. Bo calls that pretty blatant sabotage. Why didn't Philip call him? Brady is guessing that he's trying to take care of it before Granddad finds out. Bo is surprised that Victor doesn't know. He also heard that the DiMera's were after this project so it makes sense that they were behind it. That's a no brainer for Brady - he said they possibly had help. Max says let me guess - you think my sister is a part of this. Melanie walks in and looks at Bo and Brady and says what have I done now? Max tells her that the Police Commissioner would like to ask her some questions about what went down at Titan. Melanie says the computers were wiped clean and while she lost more than anyone the police have yet again decided to blame her. Bo says no one is blaming anyone yet. He asks her if she had any contact with the DiMera's on this project. She says EJ made an offer and he took it off the table - end of story. Brady knows that Max worked with Nick on this project - does he have any documents they could use to reconstruct the formula. Bo asks if he has anything that would get this fuel project back up and running. Max doesn't. Bo is going to find Philip. He can't go to the Feds with this until Philip files a formal complaint. Brady goes with him.

After they leave Melanie tells Max he sure is good at lying for a person that keeps telling her she shouldn't lie. Max says this is why Nick gave him a copy to keep safe. It's funny how people change just because of the amount of money these designs could earn. Melanie - yeah, you just can't trust anyone, can you? She looks at the safe. Melanie apologises for freaking out when he wouldn't let her see the blueprints. She sees now that they're better off in the safe. Max wants her to promise him something - whatever she's planning, don't do it. Melanie claims she is done with this forever but it would have been cool to have all that money. To be able to afford to travel, buy nice clothes and he could afford to go to college so he doesn't have to work as a bartender. She worries about his future. Max tells her not to - he's fine. She asks if he is sure the plans are in the safe - maybe he should check. Max - I should open it when you're standing here and you use your photographic memory to remember the code. Melanie says she will leave and then he can do it. She leaves but leaves her cell phone to record him opening the safe. She comes back in and tells Max her car won't start. Did he check the safe? He did - all is well. He goes out to check her car. Melanie checks her cell phone and gets the combination, opens the safe and stuffs the blueprints in her purse just as Max comes back in. She flooded it but it's good to go now. She wants to buy him a drink. He reminds her he gets them for free. She tells him to pour them each a drink and they can toast their future - she has a feeling that things are going to turn around for them.


Kate & fellow passenger: The plane lands and Kate tells the woman next to her that she has to get off the plane - she doesn't want to miss her son's wedding. Kate is standing up when the flight attendant informs her the pilot hasn't turned off the seat belt sign. They are still taxiing. Kate knows - she wants to be the first off the plane. The flight attendant orders her back into her seat. Kate tries to explain but the flight attendant won't listen. The passenger asks Kate what she has there - Kate has pulled out papers with a list of all the places to get married in Vegas - there's 306 of them. She starts using deductive reasoning and crossing some places off the list. The woman says - wait a minute, you don't know where your son is getting married. Kate answers - my son is NOT getting married. Kate makes a call and crosses another place off the list. The woman says the woman you're son is hooking up with must be a real baddie in your eyes. Kate answers - worse. The woman replies but he loves her. Kate says no - he doesn't know her. She proceeds to describe Chloe as a conniving, little money-grubbing bitch who breaks men's hearts for the hell of it; is generally considered a whore or a slut depending on who you're talking to; drove her first husband to become a drug addict; cheated on my son with my boyfriend when I was being treated for cancer. She considers herself to be a great opera star when in truth she lives her life like a sheep in heat. The woman looks shocked. Kate makes another call. Kate loses her connection to the JP right after she asks if Lucas and Chloe are there. She yells that she has to get off the plane right now. Kate calls Victor with an update - she has found Lucas and slut and she could be there in five minutes if only she could get off the plane. She's not happy when Victor tells her she could be too late - her son could be a married man before she gets there. She hangs up on Victor and yells agains for someone to get her off the plane.


JP's office: The JP informs Lucas and Chloe that the ceremonies he performs are serious, joyful of course but not frivolous. They wouldn't want it any other way. The JP says marriage is a lifelong committment. He's going to do some checking to make sure they're ready to proceed. He asks if either of them know of any reason they can't lawfully be joined as husband and wife. Silence as Chloe squirms. The JP is sensing some hesitation - is there any reason they shouldn't be married - anything at all? Chloe thought the question was part of the ritual - no, there's no reason why they shouldn't be married. Right, Lucas. Lucas - actually, I think there is. He pulls out the marriage licence - it says they need two witnesses. The JP says that's all part of the services they provide. His main concern is that they are both seriously dedicated to a lifelong committment. Frankly he can see they are just by the love in their eyes. He'll make a call and get some witnesses. It's couples like them that remind him that he loves his job. The JP goes through his checklist. They have the marriage licence, flowers and he'll make sure his DVD camera is ready to record the ceremony. He gets out his digital camera to take a photo of them. Chloe has a flashback of praying to God. They get their picture taken. Lucas comments that they're good to go - it feels right doesn't it. Chloe agrees. The JP is about to start the ceremony when his phone rings. It's Kate. She tells him that her son wrote down the place he was getting married and she lost the paper - she's wondering if he could help her.

She was wondering if he had any ceremonies booked for tonight. He has one about to start. Lucas laughs and Kate hears him. She asks if he has a Lucas Horton and Chloe Lane there right now. The JP hangs up saying whoever it was will have to call back. The ceremony finally begins. They get to the part where the vows are said and rings exchanged. Lucas realises that he left the rings in Salem. Chloe - what are we going to do. Maybe there is a store nearby where they can buy some. The witnesses say you don't have to do that. They'll lend them their rings. They've been married for 35 years - maybe this will bring them luck. Lucas and Chloe thank them and the ceremony continues with Lucas placing the ring on Chloe's fingers and saying his vows. Kate knocks on the door of the JP's office and enters. There's a sign that says on break 'til 11pm. She sees the DVD of the wedding and puts it in the DVD player - maybe something went wrong. She watches it. She is not happy as she watches Lucas kiss his bride. She mutters no, no, no as she rewinds the DVD to the spot where Chloe is saying 'forsaking all other 'til death do us part.' Kate - 'til death do you part indeed!


Hospital - Part 1: Daniel is by the coffee station - he says Chloe's name. Hope greets Daniel. She finished her shift and is here to do some volunteer work. What's he doing? He guesses it's time to celebrate St Patrick's Day. She asks if he's going out with friends. No, he'll stop and have a drink and go home. She asks if he's okay - he seemed to be at a loss when she came in. What was he thinking about. He was wondering how doing the right thing can feel so wrong. Hope asks if this is about work. No. Hope says oh - about a relationship. She apologises for intruding on his personal life - she can see he's not anxious to talk about it but if he should change his mind ... He thanks her.


Kiriakis mansion - Part 2: Stephanie listens outside the door as Victor berates Philip. How could he let something like this happen - he's the CEO. Bo tells them to take it easy. If the information isn't recovered it will become a federal matter. Victor complains that this all happened because his son wasn't minding the store. Bo tells Philip he should have come to him. Withholding information of a crime is of itself a crime. Victor says the shareholders will be out for blood. Philip says give them mine. He gambled big but he hasn't lost yet and he won't. He storms out. Stephanie stands by his side. Victor rages about the DiMera's - Brady will have to make a choice. Brady has never considered himself a DiMera. Bo tells Victor to take it easy - they'll have to be very careful about how they handle this. Victor tells Bo not to worry - the DiMera's, they should worry. Bo will get a hold of the Feds. They'll send their tech guys to investigate. Victor says even if they can't prove it they all know who did it and why. Bo tells Victor to let him handle this. He leaves. In the foyer he tells Philip he'll need a timeline and a list of contacts he had with the DiMera's in the last few weeks, Melanie's too. Philip says she didn't do it - she doesn't have the stuff - it was the DiMera's. He'll deal with it. Bo tells him the same thing he told Victor - let him handle this. Stephanie tells Philip she'll see him in the morning - she believes in him, she's there to help. They kiss - Philip goes back in the living room. Bo tells Stephanie that Philip is in a bad place right now - be very careful. She will.

After some sniping between Brady and Philip, Philip tells him and Victor he's not apologising for not calling the cops - he's handling this his way and he's going to come out on top. Brady says what about the company - what will the Board of Directors say? Philip shrugs - who cares? He's acting like he's the first person that's been screwed over by the DiMera's - he'll tell them something though, he's going to be the last. You want to watch a family crash and burn, watch the DiMera's. Trust me, I will make that happen. Victor steps out to take a call from Kate. Brady tells Philip that he has no right to cut people out of their profits. If he would have just treated Melanie Leyton with respect ... Philip cuts in - that little tramp is the one that pulled the DiMera's in to this. If he wants to blame someone, blame her. Philip says Mr. Vice-CEO the only reason you're at Titan is so you can spy for the great Victor Kiriakis. Brady was under the impression that he was there because Victor needed someone to actually do the work. Philip scoffs - what work? He's never there - he's always hanging out with Nicole. Brady says Nicole is just a friend. He doesn't know where Philip got the idea they were having an affair. Philip - whether or not you're actually sleeping with her, you're sure as hell in bed with her. He suggests Brady show some family loyalty - Nicole is marrying a DiMera. For all he knows Brady has been on her side throughout this entire fiasco. Brady asks Philip what he's accusing him of. Philip asks - if you're not having an affair with her - what is going on? Why did she let him blackmail her and get EJ to scrap the Fuels project. If you're not having sex with her - what's the real secret?

Brady says that Nicole didn't let Philip blackmail her. She didn't make EJ drop the Fuels project. The reason he dropped it is because he never wanted it in the first place - he got to see it buried and he got the added bonus of seeing Philip scream bloody murder. Philip vows that EJ will wish he never met him. Brady tells him to stop with the threats and let the cops handle this. Philip - aren't you the voice of reason. At least I'm up front about what I'm doing. He tells Brady that if the DiMera's find out he's been going behind their backs he's the one that will get hurt. If Nicole decides to ... Brady cuts in - they're friends and there's no affair. He tells Philip to lay off Nicole otherwise he'll be the one that gets hurt.


Hospital - Part 2: Daniel is getting ready to leave the hospital. He has a fantasy of his and Chloe's wedding. He tells himself that will never happen. Hope returns and asks if he's still planning on going out. No - he's heading home. Hope says she was just going to grab a cup of coffee. She knows he would rather not talk about what's upsetting him but maybe he needs to. Daniel appreciates her concern and yeah, he could use some coffee. She links her hand in his arm and suggests they to to the cafeteria. Bo walks in and sees them. Hope tells Bo they were just about to have some coffee - she suggests he join them. Daniel says no - the two of them should be together. He leaves. Bo asks her what did the two of them have to talk about. Hope isn't sure - he seemed down so she was going to talk to him. She looks at Bo and tells him not to go there. First Rafe and now Daniel - as soon as he sees her with a man he starts thinking affair. She asks him if he has any idea how insulting this is to her? Bo gets huffy - what was so important that she had to go off and have a coffee and talk with the man - he stops himself and tells her not to dignify that with an answer. These visions are driving him crazy. Hope says they're doing the same to her. She knows that all these other visions came true but she will never, ever, never be with another man. She kisses him. Bo asks if she's ready for their big date. She is - she checked with the sitter about Ciara and she's ready to go and have some bubbly to celebrate being back on the force. They hug. Bo has the vision again. This time the vision includes Hope saying - Poor Bo. He had visions this was happening but of course I told him he was being ridiculous; there's no man other than him that I loved. I have to say it was one of my best performances.


DiMera mansion: Melanie is outside the mansion on her cell - she's here. Tony opens the door. He hands her a cheque and she hands him the blueprints. She wants to know when she gets more. Tony says when he gets results - that may be several months. She asks where her contract is. The lawyers are still drafting it. Melanie says she was supposed to get a contact and a cheque. Tony says she will - he's not going to kill the golden goose - trust him. He'll be in touch. He closes the door on her.


Honeymoon suite: Lucas and Chloe are in bed kissing. Lucas - are you happy Mrs Horton? Chloe - very.


Preview: Max to a crying Melanie - What the hell were you thinking? Nice going sis. I mean this is a new low even for you. Stephanie to Philip - Do not trust her. Philip - This isn't about trust, it's about survival. Nicole to Sami - I will not let anyone pull my family apart. Tony to Mia - I'm sorry. Did something happen to your child?

Kiriakis mansion - Part 1: Philip is on the phone with Howard - the engineers are going to recreate that project ... he answers the doorbell and lets Stephanie in as he's telling Howard no excuses or you're fired. Stephanie tells him to stop making himself crazy - the alternative fuels project is gone and there's nothing he can do to get it back. Philip signs some papers for Stephanie to take back to the office. He tells her to come back. He's not going to the office today and he needs someone sane to talk to. He can't accept the alternative fuels project is gone. She says he can't admit ... he jumps in - that I failed. That's what his dad thinks. Stephanie says to hell with him. She thinks it's ridiculous that is father is so hard on him. He should try and make him feel better about himself - not berate and ridicule him. Philip is used to it. Stephanie asks if he was ever proud of him? His dad has always been about results even when he was kid. He stopped caring about what he said and started tuning him out. What's tearing him up is that he let all of this get out of control, the business, the crap with Melanie, his whole damn life - he's beginning to think he deserves to lose Titan. He has to prove his dad wrong - he's going to win this. Stephanie tells him that no matter what happens with Titan she doesn't care. She fell in love with the Philip that is human, caring and kind. She fell in love with the Philip that she can't get enough of who is always enough for her. He thanks her but the problem is that Philip isn't enough for him - never will be.


Cheating Heart - Part 1: Max notices that the safe isn't locked - he opens it and sees the envelope is gone. He throws a chair as he yells Melanie's name.


DiMera mansion - Part 1: Tony is walking towards the door when Melanie stops him - she cashed her cheque except it wasn't very much was it. She thinks she needs more. Tony can't give her anymore until things are up and running. She doesn't think $10,000 will keep her going that long considering she's giving half to her brother. Tony calls her generous but he doesn't have time to talk - he has a christening to attend. Melanie asks for her contract - she feels like it should be ready by now. Tony appreciates the fact that she put her trust in him and he appreciates the fact that if it wasn't for her he wouldn't have the fuels project - he feels it will go really well and if it does he will reward her amply but right now he can't. Melanie knew it. He does have one thing in common with his brother - they're both liars. He's just like EJ, Philip and her dad. All smiles and empty promises and then nothing. She needs more money. He tells her she has a lovely smile - it's a pity the greed in her eyes ruins the entire picture. She wants another $10,000 and a contract by tomorrow. Tony tells her they'll have this conversation again in a few weeks when she's had time to calm down. He goes inside. Melanie's cell ring. It's Max. He tells her to get down there right now and she better have that envelope with her.

Inside Brady tells Nicole that he finally got through to Philip - he won't bother her anymore. Nicole hugs him - because of him this will be the best day of her life. EJ walks in and asks Brady what he's doing there. Nicole tells EJ that she invited Brady to the christening. EJ - really, to a family affair? Nicole reminds him that Brady is family and besides it isn't really a family affair anymore what with Sami being there. EJ didn't think they had room for anymore guests. Brady gets a call and steps out of the room. Nicole asks where Johnny is. EJ informs her that Johnny isn't feeling well so he'll be staying with Mary. He tells Nicole he would have liked to be informed that Brady was going to be there inspite of the fact that he told her very clearly that he didn't want her spending any time with him. She is aware that there is a tremendous amount of animosity between the two families. Nicole knows but she assumed she could invite a friend to her daughter's christening if Sami is coming. EJ claims that Samantha is not a friend, she's Johnny's mother. Nicole rants - then why the hell is she going to be there? EJ asks if this is a tit for tat - because Sami is invited she has to invite someone he doesn't like. Sami's baby starts crying so Nicole is saved from answering him. She tells EJ this day isn't about fighting - it's about celebrating. Stefano, Tony and Brady enter the room - Stefano takes a picture of the family. It's time for the christening to happen because to christen a DiMera child is a tradition that goes back centuries. The baby cries. Stefano says why are you crying because from today on you are a DiMera for now and forever more.


Brady Pub: Sami tells Will it's time for them to get to the church. Will wants to know why. At first he thought it was kind of cool to be invited but then he started thinking - why is she going? That's Nicole's baby, not yours and you hate Nicole so why does she want to hang out with someone she hates? Sami admits that she hates Nicole but not her baby. The baby is Johnny's half-sister so it's perfectly reasonable that Johnny's mother be there. Will doesn't see it that way - when you hate someone you hate everything about them. Sami explains that just because she hates Nicole's guts that doesn't mean she has to hate her innocent baby. Will says yeah you do. He knows the real her wouldn't even look at that baby. He adds that she acts really weird around that baby. Sami says she doesn't. It's not about the baby - it's about Johnny's Dad EJ. She wants to make peace. Will says we both know that is bull - he gets up and walks away. Sami mutters - we have to go. Will comes back and Sami admits that she has been acting weird lately and she's definitely been weird around Nicole's baby. She chalks it up to being separated from her kids and everything else that went on. She's still dealing with that emotionally. She tells him she loves him - she hopes he knows that. Him, Johnny and Allie ... no matter what happens in the future and no matter how disappointed he is in her she will always love him. Will isn't disappointed in her. He knows she loves him and he loves her too. Can they go now? Sami thinks she will stop acting weird right now and not go to the christening. Will laughs - are they going or not?


Mia: Mia listens to the announcement that the flight is making it's final descent into Chicago O'Hare International airport.


Cheating Heart - Part 2: Melanie cries as Max ties into her. She tells him it's over - everything. She gives him a cheque for his half - this is all they have left. Max looks at it - if this is half that means you sold the plans for 10 grand. Who did you sell them to? She says Tony DiMera - pretty stupid huh. She got ripped off all three times. Max - Tony aced you out too? He gave you 10 grand, didn't he. He did but she doesn't have a contract. He says the lawyers are writing it which means he lied to her. She feels sorry for herself - she thought she could play with the big boys and she always ends up a loser. Max asks her why she couldn't let things calm down - in a few months he would have given her the blueprints. Why did she have to steal them? She yells - the project is all she has. She has no job, no man, no future ... Nick gave her that project so she could make something of herself and she screwed it up because she wanted money. Now all they have left is that stupid cheque. Max gives it back - he doesn't want. Maybe it will help her last for a while. Melanie says unless I can do something - she pulls out her cell. Max says - whatever you're thinking don't do it - she ignores him. She calls Philip - she knows where he can find a copy of the blueprints. Does he want a second chance or not? He tells her to come there. She tells Max she called Philip and now she has to run an errand. He asks her if she's going to tell Philip that Tony got the blueprints. She tells him that less he knows the better - he's too honest. Max says Philip may be dangerous but Tony DiMera is a whole lot more dangerous. She knows - she'll be careful. She leaves. Max just shakes his head.


St Luke's - Part 1: Tony, Nicole and Sami's baby arrive at the church. EJ goes to look for Father Matt. Nicole lies to Sami's baby trying to convince her it was hard for to throw Mia's baby away like trash. She thinks she did the right thing because she stole EJ's daughter and now she'll be a DiMera. Sami arrives. She tells Nicole she's early - she's going to say a prayer. Nicole says they came early too. Sami almost didn't come ... Nicole cuts in - but you forced yourself? Sami turns away and Nicole stops her. She does want her here. This is a big day and seeing as Sami won't be at her and EJ's wedding she wants Sami to see this. She and EJ are a real family and they are going to live happily ever after because she will not let anyone ever pull her family apart. Has she made herself clear. She has now Sami wants to make herself clear. She has a very full life with friends, family and her children so as shocking as this might seem to Nicole she doesn't spend all her time coming up with ways to tear Nicole's family apart. She has things to do. If EJ thinks he can be happy with her that's his problem - she has her own issues to worry about. Like Johnny. Nicole says I know - you think I'm going to contaminate him. Will and EJ both come in. EJ tells Nicole to go in and see the priest. Sami asks where Johnny is. Nicole informs her that he has a little fever so they needed to leave him at home. He's fine - nothing to worry about. EJ, Nicole and the baby go to see the priest. Will says if Johnny isn't there he's going to split. Sami is too but she's going to say a prayer first.

Nicole sees Sami and says she is glad she stayed. She talks about how beautiful the christening gown is - she'll go get it. Nicole sees Brady in the vestibule - she wasn't sure he would come - she's glad he did. Brady isn't staying. He knows this day is very special to her but if he stays it will just stir things up with EJ - he doesn't want to do that. Nicole says more than anyone he made this day happen - it's only right that he be a part of it. He tells her he'll be there in spirit. They hug. Sami is praying. She tells herself to get a grip, it's just a baby. You wouldn't think about her all the time if you had Grace with you. EJ comes in with her baby. The baby spits up on him. Sami asks if he needs some help. In the vestibule Stefano is showing Nicole the christening gown. He gets a call that he has to take - don't start without him. He steps out and Nicole's cell rings. It's Tony asking where she is. She's in the vestibule. He tells her to stay there - they have to talk. It's very important that they have this discussion as soon as possible and in private. Stay put. He hangs up on her. EJ passes Sami her daughter.


DiMera mansion - Part 2: Tony is on the phone with Lexie when the doorbell rings. It's Mia. She asks if Nicole is there. No. She asks how the baby is and then changes the question to - is the baby with her. She is. She is going to leave but Tony stops her - they met when she was here in the winter. He didn't catch her name. She tells him it's Mia. She asks if Nicole will be back soon. He says she'll be gone for hours. He asks how her baby is - he recalls she was pregnant at the time. He sees the look on her face - did something happen to her baby? He apologises if he spoke out of turn. If he recalls right she was about as far along as Nicole when he saw her. She was. The baby is alright but she gave her away. Tony is sorry. He understands - he's sure she did the right thing. Did she have a girl too? Mia doesn't feel like talking anymore. Tony will tell Nicole she was there. She says no - she just saw Nicole's car so she thought she was home. She never would have rung the bell if she had thought someone else ... just please, please don't tell her you talked to me. He asks her why she wouldn't want Nicole to know that she came by to see her after all she was a friend to you during your pregnancy, wasn't she? Mia says yes she helped me until after the baby came. She then went to Japan to work on her dancing but that didn't work out. Tony asks if she came here to find more help. Mia stammers. Tony tells her it's okay. He understands she's upset and maybe it would help if she unburdened herself to someone. He's willing to listen. Did Nicole help her find a mother for her child - is that why she came to see her? Mia says yeah in a way. Tony says you're here because you want to find the adoptive mother? Mia says no, I mean yes. Tony asks if she knows who the adoptive mother is. Mia can't stand it anymore. Tony tells her it's okay. He adds - you miss your baby something terrible, don't you. Mia - is she here? Tony already told her Nicole is out. Mia says not Nicole, Sydney. Tony looks at her - Sydney is your baby? Mia says Nicole lost her baby. I gave her mine. She leaves. Tony says oh Nicole, you've been a very naughty girl.


Kiriakis mansion - Part 2: Stephanie returns. Philip tells her that Melanie called - she knows where to get her hands on the blueprints. Stephanie tells him not to trust her. He says it's not about trust, it's about survival. Melanie is there now - she has a paper that her lawyer dictated to her. It says that if Philip gets a copy of the blueprints because of what she tells him that she gets her profit that was promised to her since day one and she gets her job back at Titan with her full salary. Philip signs it and tells Melanie that this puts her right back where she started before she started all that crap. He wants the blueprints. Melanie thinks he should be more enthusiatic - he's got nothing without her. She tells them that Nick hid a copy of the blueprints. Stephanie thinks that is ridiculous - she tells Philip not to believe Melanie. Philip asks her where the copy is that Nick hid. She says Nick didn't hide it, her brother did - in the safe at the Cheating Heart. Philip tells her to get him down here. She can't do that because the blueprints were stolen. Philip wants to know who stole them. She says it was Tony DiMera. Stephanie thinks that's a far stretch. Melanie says that Tony and EJ don't really get along. Tony came looking for her when he found out EJ gave her the shaft wanting to know if he could get involved. Philip - so he's working alone? Melanie says yes. He seemed really interested in getting his hands on the blueprints and he made her an offer. Stepanie - and you actually took it? Melanie defends herself - she's 18, she's a little impulsive. She told him she wanted to think about it but he talked her into it and told her she had to accept his offer immediately. He's a weird guy. She felt like if she didn't go along with him ... Philip tells her they're done - Melanie leaves. Philip tells Stephanie that Tony could be the answer to everything. Philip gets voicemail - that S.O.B. isn't going to care what I have to say on the phone. Stephanie tells him he needs to call a lawyer. Philip says no way. Tony DiMera is going to find out what it feels like to mess with me. Stephanie tells him to call Bo and get his advice. Philip refuses. He got Titan into this mess, he's going to get them out. He leaves. Stephanie makes a call. Brady comes rushing in calling Stephanie's name. She says she tried to stop him - he just left. He said he's going to find Tony DiMera. She doesn't know what he's going to do to him.


Waterfront: Will strolls along - stupid parents, all they do is lie. He notices Mia sitting on the steps crying.


DiMera mansion - Part 3: Philip walks right inside the mansion yelling for Tony - get your ass down here now! Tony!!!


St Luke's - Part 2: EJ cleans up his suit. He looks over at Sami and the baby. He says - I don't know why Samantha but seeing you with her just seems right. Tony rushes into the vestibule. Nicole wants to know what is going on. This is a very big day for her and the family - they can have a private talk any time. Tony is glad he got there before she stood in front of God and man and lied. Nicole - excuse me. Tony - Sydney, Nicole darling, we both know that she's not your daughter.


Preview: Will to Mia - Where are you from? Are you from out of town? Philip to Brady and Stephanie - I'm going to get those damn plans back. Rafe to Sister Agnes - This thing with Sami is different. What happened before is never going to happen again. Sami to EJ - She's so happy. It's like she knows me. Nicole to Tony - That baby is mine. Tony - The truth will come out Nicole.

Convent: Rafe is on his cell telling someone that he'll take the apartment - he'll bring a cheque later today. A nun comes in and says he hasn't changed a bit. He greets Sister Agnes. Sr T said she might be there today. Sr Agnes says now that she knows what he's up to it's a very good thing she did. She says - you really care for this girl, don't you? Rafe tells her that he's gotten close to Sami and Grace. How could he not? The three of them have been through a lot together. Sr. A asks if he hopes to spend more time with her. He wouldn't have passed up the job in New York if he didn't. He's going to hang out here a while and spend time with Grace. Sami will eventually want to take her back to Salem and she'll need him there. Sr. Agnes states that is quite a commitment. She's not surprised - this isn't the first time he has made a sacrifice on behalf of a woman. Rafe claims that Sami is unlike anyone else. The way he feels about her is different. Sr Agnes wants to make sure he has thought this through. He's limiting his options job-wise by staying in Salem. He feels sure he'll find something. Sr Agnes only wants what's best for him. Shouldn't he be certain that this young woman wants him to make such a sacrifice for her.

Rafe says helping Sami out isn't a sacrifice. He's doing it because he wants to. She needs him. Sr. Agnes admires his dedication. Rafe knows she's just looking out for him but he's telling her that this whole thing with Sami is different. What happened before is never going to happen again. Rafe picks up Grace. He tries to get her to smile for Sr. Agnes but she doesn't. Rafe says she doesn't like being told what to do - she's quite the rebel. Sr. Agnes comments - just like you. He was a challenge when he was living there but look what a fine man he's become. In spite of all this maturity she still sees a trace of that rebellious teenager. Rafe tells her he's doing okay. Grace starts crying and he quiets her down. He tells Sr Agnes he's not the crazy, defiant person he once was since he met Sami. She changed him - simple as that. Sr Agnes - because of her? Rafe says she's not just any woman. Sr Agnes asks if he's sayng that she is the woman. Sr Agnes asks Rafe to tell her about Sami. Rafe - 'she's sweet, but impossible; smart, but really stubborn; tough, but kind of fragile; beautiful ... that's it. She's just beautiful.' Sr Agnes - 'so she is the one.' Rafe doesn't want to jinx it, okay. She understands.


St Luke's - Part 1: When EJ tells Sami seeing her with his little girl looks so right she asks him what he means. EJ would like her to be in Sydney's life the same way Nicole is in Johnny's life. Sami reminds him that she doesn't like that. He says Nicole doesn't like her around their daughter either. Maybe the two of them could put their resentment aside for the sake of the children. Sami can't believe how still the baby is in her arms, so happy - it's like she knows her. Sami says holding her like this reminds her of Johnny just before he would fall asleep - she's struggling to keep her eyes open just like he did. Sami puts her daughter in the carriage. EJ wants Sami to know that in spite of all their differences there are a few people in your life that have a lasting impact - your one of those people that has had a profound influence on his life. Sami - for the better? EJ answers 'definitely.' Sami learned a lot from him too. She'd like to believe that she's a better person for knowing him. He really does want her to be happy. She feels the same way. She's never going to trust Nicole but she hopes he knows what will make him happy. He does, apparently she does too. Apparently she's found someone that makes her happy. Sami says hold on a second - Rafe was just being my friend and you called my Dad trying to get him into trouble by saying he was being unprofessional. Now he's all warm and mushy wanting to make sure he makes her happy. EJ asks - does he? Sami says he's her friend. He saved her life - she's beholden to him. EJ says 'beholden - that's romantic'. Sami says she's already admitted that she has feelings for Rafe. Nothing is going on and this conversation is making her uncomfortable. EJ tells her that he does want her to be happy. She thanks him. Once she gets a few things sorted out she will be.

Tony goes on to say that Nicole did not give birth to that baby - she's not biologically connected to it. Nicole pretends she doesn't know what he's talking about and heads towards the sacristy. Tony says as EJ is his brother he's morally obligated to disclose her secret. That gets Nicole's attention. She lies - Sydney is her daughter. Tony scoffs - she's no more her baby than she is his. She may be able to fool the rest of the family but he has her number. It would be selfish of him not to share this information - after all he does have to live with himself. Nicole trots out the righteous indignation and calls Tony a bastard for trying to ruin this day for her. She wants him to leave. Tony says they are talking about a beautiful child here. She is lying, deceiving both his father and brother. Nicole tells him he's no longer welcome here. She didn't want him to be Sydney's godfather. They only asked him so he wouldn't throw a hissy fit. She'll call Brandon. Tony - and that won't raise a red flag? She tells him to get out again. He answers - the truth will come out Nicole. Nicole doesn't know where all these insane accusations are coming from but they are unfounded and cruel. That baby is hers. Tony says he's sure that in her heart she is but in reality, genetically, biologically, legally she belongs to sweet, young Mia. Nicole claims she doesn't know anyone named Mia. Tony thinks she is beginning to have memory problems. He reminds her that she brought Mia by the house a few months ago. She's about 16, she was pregnant at the time but of course she isn't any more. Nicole says I didn't tell you her name. Tony informs her that Mia came by the house earlier. At first she was reticent to talk to him but then she opened up completely about Nicole and her lovely daughter as well. The one that Nicole is trying to pass off as her own.


Kiriakis mansion - Part 1: Brady asks Stephanie why Philip is going after Tony DiMera. She tells him that contrary to what they believed there was another copy of the blueprint for the Fuels project. Melanie got her hands on it and sold it to Tony probably to stick it to EJ and Philip. Brady says this is bad. Stephanie is freaking out because Philip is out there looking for Tony and she doesn't know what he'll do. Brady says she's not the only one. Both Stephanie and Brady on their cells placing calls looking for Philip. No luck - they decide to go out and look for him.


DiMera mansion: The new butler comes out and asks Philip how he got in - he asks him to leave. Philip isn't leaving until he gets what he came for - he yells for Tony again. The butler informs Philip that he couldn't get hold of Mr. DiMera - he'll tell him he stopped by. Philip says don't bother. I'll tell him myself and I'll also tell him the butler is a real jerk.


Waterfront: Will asks Mia if she's okay. She tells him to go away. He says if she's in trouble his uncle is the police commissioner - he could call him if she wants. She doesn't answer so he starts to leave. She says 'wait.' Sorry - it's been one of those days but she's okay now. She thanks him for checking on her. He says he's going to get something to eat - does she want to come along. She shouldn't. Will says if she changes her mind he'll be at the Brady Pub. She knows where that is. Will tells her to feel better and leaves.


Brady Pub: Lexie is at a table with Theo talking to her babysitter. Yes she understands, she just wishes she would have given more notice as Abe is at a conference and she has a christening to attend. Stefano comes in and greets them. He's on his way back to the church - what about her? Lexie says her sitter cancelled. Stefano says that they can take him to his house and Mary will look after him. Stefano knows that she is concerned because of what happened at the house earlier ... Lexie says it's okay. She'll talk to Theo about staying close to Mary - she's very attentive. Stefano goes to call Mary and Lexie talks to Theo about going to grandpa's house. She wants him to listen to Mary and not play on the stairs.

Will is behind the bar getting himself a soda when Bo walks in. He welcomes Will back - they hug. He asks if it's good to be back. It's okay. Bo tells him that his parents missed the hell out of him. Will says it's good to see everyone again. Bo asks about school - any friends there. No friends but he's okay with that, he's okay on his own. Mia comes in and Bo asks Will if he knows her. Will says he just met her - somewhere. Bo shrugs - that's as good a place as any. Mia tells Will that this place is nice. He tells her the food is good too - is she thirsty. He asks her what she wants to drink and eat as he goes behind the bar to get her ginger-ale. She asks if he works there. He says no; his grandmother owns the place. Now Mia sees why he's at home here. She'll have whatever he's having to eat. He says burger and fries - he goes into the kitchen. He brings out the food - they talk. He says he missed burgers - he lived in Switzerland for a while - he just came back a few days ago. He was there for a year. She asks if he was an exchange student. No, it just sort of happened. He asks her where she's from - he hasn't seen her at Salem High. Is she from out of town? Mia says yeah but her life seems pretty boring compared to his. Will says it was awesome in Switzerland for the first few weeks but then he started feeling homesick. His family wasn't with him. Mia asks if he has any brothers and sisters. He has a brother and sister - twins. They're still little. They were born right before he left so he doesn't know them that well but his mom would send him pictures. Mia notices Bo looking over at them. Will says that's his Uncle Bo - the police commissioner. Will goes to get more fries. Mia recalls giving birth to her child. She takes off. Will returns and asks Bo if he saw that girl he was just with. Bo says she just left - Will can catch up with her if he wants. Will isn't going to do that. Bo asks if they had an argument. When Will says no Bo says call her and find out what happened. Will isn't going to do that - she's nuts just leaving like that. Mia is sitting on the bench outside the pub. Her baby - she never knew it would hurt that much. She says she's going to see her again - she'll find a way.


Cheating Heart: Philip drinks his beer and curses the DiMera's. He vows that Tony will be sorry he messed with him. Stephanie and Brady find Philip - Stephanie tells him that they've been looking for him. Brady says they were worried about him - Steph told him about Tony. He tells Philip not to get mad at her - she was just trying to help. Philip doesn't need any help - the situation is under control. Brady says this is ridiculous - we'll find your father and tell him what's going on. Philip says no - this is his deal. He'll get those damn plans back. Brady - and what if you can't? Philip - Then I'll crush that bastard. Tony DiMera won't know what hit him. Brady tells Philip that he's not going after Tony DiMera. Philip asks why - because Brady wants to take credit for fixing this mess. Brady tells him to stop being a jerk. Philip says it's not like I'm going to take a baseball to the guy's kneecaps - he just wants to sit him down and reason with him. Brady asks Philip if it's his plan to corner Tony at Sydney's christening. Philip hadn't thought of that. Brady says if you attack Tony in front of EJ and Stefano you'll never get those plans back. Philip asks Brady what he suggests. Brady happens to know that Tony is on the outs with Stefano and EJ. Instead of confronting him why don't they make him an offer he can't refuse.


St Luke's - Part 2: Nicole then throws Mia under the bus. She tried to help that girl and she turned around and stabbed her in the back. She indicates that Mia is insane. Tony comments that she seemed perfectly sane to him. Nicole says she has Tourrettes - she just blurts out the oddest things and she's bipolar too. She then takes the blame - she let Mia get too close. She thought she was being virtous by taking her under her wing. Stupid, gullible me. Tony thinks that if the girl is as mentally ill as Nicole thinks she is that they should inform EJ and Stefano that she might turn up on the front doorstep. Stefano and Lexie walk in at that moment. Stefano asks who is showing up; inform me of what? Tony asks Nicole if she'd like to do the honours or should he. Stefano asks Nicole if there is something she wants to tell him. Nicole really puts on a performance now. She hugs him. She's so glad he and Lexie came to this special occasion. It's a very special day for her and EJ and to have everyone they care about there means more than she can say. Stefano asks Tony if Nicole is alright. Nicole tells Stefano she knows that they haven't always seen eye to eye but she hopes they can put their differences aside and today could be a new beginning for all of them. There's nothing that Stefano would like more. Nicole thanks him. Stefano thanks her for giving him such a beautiful grandchild. They are truly blessed. Stefano and Lexie go to find the priest. Tony tells Nicole that was quite a performance but a bit over the top. Nicole lies - she was being sincere. Tony rambles on - there's all kinds of possibilities. Life is so interesting - it can change on a dime, can't it? And then it's all different. Nicole asks him what he's going to do. He smiles - wouldn't you like to know?

Lexie and Stefano come into the sacristy - greetings are exchanged. Lexie asks if they are starting soon. EJ asks if they have seen Nicole. In the vestibule Nicole asks Tony to please not ruin this day for her. Tony laughs at her. This is not about a day - they are talking about people's lives. And if she thinks she can continue with this charade she's the one that is mentally ill. Nicole insists she didn't take Mia's baby - she can prove that the baby belongs to EJ and her. EJ comes in and asks her if everything is alright. She lies - they were talking baby talk. EJ asks if they're ready. EJ and Nicole go inside and Tony follows but stops before he enters the sacristy and says - 'Enjoy your moment Nicole. As soon as EJ finds out the truth the nightmare begins.' The christening is now taking place. The priest finishes the part with the parents and then moves on the god-parents. The priest asks Lexie if she is prepared to help Elvis and Nicole fulfill their duty as christian parents. She is. The priest asks the same thing of Tony but Tony just stays silent and stares at Nicole. She squirms.


Kiriakis mansion - Part 2: Stephanie and Philip return - Stephanie asks if he is upset with her. He hugs her. She says she was worried about him. She's glad he decided to listen to Brady - what he said made sense. This is Tony DiMera they're talking about - he has to be smart. She declares she is starved. When she finds out the cook is off she says she'll figure something out - she knows her way around a kitchen. She leaves. Philip says we'll try it your way Brady but if Tony doesn't take the bait it's on to Plan B.


Preview: Will to Caroline - I can't believe she would just leave like that. Do you think something happened? Mia praying - Help me to stop thinking I've made the worst mistake of my life. Sami to Rafe - I have to go get her and bring her home. Tony to Nicole - Your situation is a lot more serious than you think.

St Luke's: While waiting for Tony to respond Nicole recalls Tony revealing that he knows the baby isn't hers. Tony asks the priest to repeat the question and then answers - he's ready to do whatever is necessary. Stefano tells Tony a simple 'I will' would have sufficed. Tony knows he often says too much like for instance this newest DiMera ... Nicole faints. Nicole insists she's fine - it's hot in here and she forgot to eat. Tony says she doesn't look well - she should have a physcial. Tony hands the baby to Sami and Nicole freaks and refuses to go to the hospital as Lexie suggests. EJ tells Nicole to calm down. She claims she is calm - everyone else is fussy. They think she should go to the hospital. She says her daughter isn't christened - that's why they are here. She then curses in church when she sees Sami with her daughter - what the hell is she doing holding my daughter. Sami was trying to help. Nicole snaps that this isn't the Red Cross - everyone looks at Nicole as if she's off her rocker. Nicole tells the priest to get the show on the road. The priest tells her to give the baby back to the godparents - she wants to get to the good part. The priest tells her that this is a sacrament; everything is important. Tony gets his dig in - they don't want to rush this sacred ceremony. Sami watches as the christening continues. After the priest makes the sign of the cross on the baby's forehead Tony looks at Nicole - she'll be safe now, won't she?

Mia enters the vestibule after vowing earlier that she would hold her baby again. She prays in front of a statue of Mary. She hasn't been in church for a long time. She's sinned. She prays for Mother to look after her baby and help her to stop missing her so much - help her to stop thinking that she made the worst mistake of her life. Mia lights a candle. Inside Lexie gets paged - she has to call the hospital. She steps out into the vestibule and runs into Mia. Mia asks if there is something going on inside. Lexie answers - my little niece is being christened. Lexie goes into another room. Mia looks inside and says OMG, my baby. The never-ending ceremony continues as Mia watches. The priest continues and uses the word 'grace' - Sami gets up and rushes out - EJ watches. In the vestibule Mia asks if she's okay. Sami - who are you. Mia - I'm nobody. She asks again if Sami is okay. Yeah, just a little emotional. Mia comments on how beautiful the baby is. Sami shouldn't say this because she has three beautiful babies herself but that's the most beautiful child she has ever seen. The christening continues as Tony smirks and Nicole cringes. Nicole has the audacity to ask God to please not take the baby away from her. Sami peeks in as the Lord's Prayer is being recited and says she has to get out of here - she should never have come. Mia says 'me neither'. They both leave.


Brady Pub: Caroline asks Will if he got stood up when she notices the table set for two. He says not exactly - girls are very weird. Will checks outside - she's gone. Caroline - you seem worried. Will says it was unusual because she asked about his family but never talked about herself. She said she was hungry. Girls never say that and he liked that she did. He wonders if something happened. Caroline thinks he should phone her - does he have her number. Will says he doesn't even have her name. Will eats and tells Caroline this is good - the food in Switzerland - bad in 3 languages. Caroline - it sounds like you're glad to be home. When Will says yeah, sure she says 'wow, enthusiam'. How is he getting alone with his Dad. They're good - he's in Vegas getting married again. She asks him how he feels about his dad getting married again. He feels like it's none of his business - it's no big deal. She asks how things are with his mom. Silence. Did they have a fight? Will shrugs - it's hard to have a fight with someone who is never around. Even when they're in the same place she always seems to be thinking of something else. He has that old feeling that she's in trouble again.

Mia returns to the pub. Will pulls out her keys - looking for these? She says her cousin would never forgive her for losing her spare set. Will introduces her to his great grandmother. Mia tells her she likes the place - she likes how it feels. Will asks if that is why she ran out without telling him. Caroline is going to go and warm their food - it will only take a minute. Mia apologises to Will for taking off like that. He tells her she doesn't have to explain - he hates when he has to make explanations. He's glad she came back - he didn't get a chance to introduce himself. He's Will Horton. She shakes his hand - nice to meet him. Will comments that usually when someone tells you their name, you give them yours. She says she is Mia. When she doesn't give him a last name he says that she's a pretty private person, right? Caroline returns with the food. Mia says I'm sorry I can't pay. Caroline says of course you can't - your Will's guest. She goes back to the kitchen. Mia tells Will she can't take ... you know ... Will says he may not know her last name but he does know she is kind of a jerk. He's sorry - that came out wrong. If she thinks Grandma Caroline is giving her charity, she's wrong. She's just friendly and likes feeding people. Mia really has to go. Will tells her to wait - he'll wrap up the food for her. She thanks him.


Convent: Sr Theresa thinks Grace's rash is bothering her because she's fussing again. Rafe thinks she misses her mother. Sr T thinks this is all very dangerous. The biological father doesn't know about his child; he has a lot of legal clout if and when he finds out. Rafe says that is why they have to make sure he never does for Grace's sake and her mother's. Rafe comment - it's funny ... it all kind of crept up on him and now the way he feels about her... Sr T - Sami? Rafe answers 'and the baby'. Talk about falling hard - Grace had him at hello and she can't even say hello. Sr T says babies have a way of doing that to you. Rafe talks about the way he feels about the DiMera's. He thinks they are arrogant, they shove people around, they do what they want - he really hates that. He's not going to let them ruin her life or Grace's. Rafe reminds St T of Saint Joseph - he took in a woman and her baby too. When she prays for him she prays to St Joseph - she thinks he's heading into dangerous waters. Rafe thinks she should be praying for Sami. He wonders where she is - she's not answering her phone. Rafe tells Sr T that he better get going. He says goodbye to Grace. After he leaves Sr T prays for him asking St Joseph and God to look out for Rafe.


DiMera mansion - Part 1: EJ and Stefano preen, Lexie is on her cell, Nicole is pouting and Tony lurks - it's quite the party! More fussing over Nicole - maybe she is tired. Tony makes a reference to someone in a movie being a Godfather at the same time as mowing down all his enemies with machine guns - their not that kind of family - not exactly. Tony then proposes a toast, Nicole refuses the sparkling water. Tony toasts the baby welcoming her to the DiMera family and to Nicole for everything she has gone through to bring them this little miracle. Lexie and Nicole talk about being mothers. Lexie says she would do anything to keep Theo safe. Nicole repeats - anything. Lexie tells her about this girl in the vestibule watching the ceremony - she said that was the most beautiful baby she had ever seen. Nicole asks Lexie to describe the girl. Nicole knows she is talking about Mia. She asks Lexie to excuse her and follows Tony out to the foyer. She tells him they need to talk. Nicole needs to know what he wants from her. EJ is not going to believe him if he tells him that she's not Sydney's mother. Tony - really? Doesn't she think he's going to check this out. He's a DiMera - he's got this fruit of his loins thing going on. Nicole asks him how much he wants. The little performance at the church was to drive the stakes up, wasn't it? Tony says she sounds a tad delusional. Nicole tells him he's won - she's asking him to name his price. Tony sneers - he doesn't have one. Her situation is a lot more serious than she thinks. She doesn't have anything he wants, anything at all.


Waterfront: Rafe meets up with Sami and holds her when he sees she is upset. She thinks he's going to be mad at her - she went to the christening. She tells him about Father Matt asking in front of Nicole and EJ if she was going to be there so EJ didn't want things to be awkward. Rafe - sarcastically - well isn't he just something. Sami reminds him that she and EJ share a child together. Rafe - so he thought you'd feel more comfortable if she saw him with his new kid and his new ... whatever the hell she is. Was his daddy there - the man that tried to get her killed? Sami tells him he's making things worse. He isn't, they are. He apologises - they make him mad. He knows how stressed out she is about this. She says it wasn't the stress, it was the christening. It was beautiful and the whole point of the ceremony is to welcome this girl into the world and introduce her to the people who are going to look after her and take care of her. It's a very important day and it's wrong that she's not doing it for Grace. She has to bring her home. Rafe reminds her they've talked about this. She has to wait. She can't. He tells her she has to for Grace's sake. He can't even believe that she went to the christening. Didn't the hypocrisy of it all bother her - after everything they have done to you and other people and to have it in a church? Sami - it was nice. Rafe - Nice??? Do you want them to take Grace away from you? She says no. He tells her to think about this then long and hard. The father of this child does not even know that he has a child. In fact she went to great lengths to keep this from him. She has lied, she has manipulated ... Sami - why are you doing this to me? Because he wants her to think about what would happen in a custody hearing if this was put in front of a judge. They could say she endangered the child's welfare. They need to wait until they can be sure that EJ wouldn't be suspicious of her having this little baby. He knows that she knows in her heart that is the right thing to do. She thinks he must be sick of talking her off the ledge. He's sick of seeing her so unhappy. He saw Grace today - she's happy. She's doing fine. They're going to bring home and they're going to do it for good. His cell rings - he steps away to take the call. Sami gets a call from EJ - Johnny has an ear infection. Sami says she will be right there. She takes off. Rafe gets off the phone and say Sami, guess what? He wonders where she went.


DiMera mansion - Part 2: Lexie congratulates EJ and has a few words for Stefano about being happy that he wasn't struck by lightning standing in that church praying ... she leaves. EJ and Stefano chat a bit and then Stefano says he wants a quick word about Nicole. Tony isn't looking for money, he has all the money he wants. Nicole asks - then what? Tony - revenge, perhaps. Nicole says against me? Tony laughs - she's the least of his concerns. Nicole concludes that he's jealous of EJ because he's so successful. Tony isn't - he knows that working for father you're successful because he wants you to be and you fail because he wants you to. Nicole thought he didn't want any part of the family business. Tony asks if she thinks he's going to sit around when he attempts to humiliate him - he won't succeed. Nicole asks - what are you going to do to my family. Sami rushes in - where's EJ? In the living room Stefano asks if EJ didn't notice that she was on edge. EJ chalks it up to Nicole not liking big family affairs. Nicole points Sami in the direction of the living room. Sami enters just as EJ is jovially telling Stefano the next time they have a family gathering they'll be at St Luke's for the wedding. Stefano notices that Sami is there so he excuses himself. Nicole wants to know why Tony decided to not tell everyone at the christening when it looked like he was going to. Tony answers - timing is everything. He might as well use it to his advantage. Nicole says you're going to tell EJ what you think you know about Mia. Tony knows what he knows. The truth always comes out. Nicole retorts so you don't mind making that defenseless baby collateral damage? Tony thinks the baby will be fine - it's Nicole's life that will be blown to hell. It will happen but if she is in such a hurry to get over the suspense he will do it now.

EJ tells Sami that he didn't hear her come in. Sami says sarcastically it's nice to hear you so happy planning your wedding while our son is so sick. EJ says Johnny will be fine. He apologises for upsetting her. He thought by inviting her to the christening ... well he supposes he didn't really think ... it didn't occur that it would be as hard as it was emotionally. Sami asks him to get Johnny. EJ asks if it was something he said. She tells him it has nothing to do with him - she doesn't really want to talk about it. He asks her if she would mind keeping an eye on Sydney while he gets Johnny. She wouldn't, Sydney is the only member of this family that she likes. Sami calls Sr T to ask about Grace. Sr T doesn't want to alarm her but she's fussy. They've run out of Sami's frozen milk - can they give her formula? Sami says yes. She thinks the rash is worse or else she's having a reaction to the ointment. Sami says that's it, I'm coming there. Sr T didn't mean to upset her. Sami says you didn't - you woke me up. I'm coming to get Grace. I'm bringing my baby home. EJ - What do you mean - bringing my baby home?


Preview: Lucas (with Chloe) to Kate - What the hell are you doing here? Kate - I would think that would be obvious. I'm here for the wedding. Rafe to Brady - She could really use someone she could trust right now. Brady - She's still in trouble isn't she? Sami to EJ, Stefano, Tony & Nicole - I've decided to adopt a baby.

DiMera mansion: Tony tells Nicole that they will go in there and tell EJ that the child they baptized today isn't a DiMera but belongs to a poor unwed teenager and that Nicole didn't have a child at all. Nicole wants to know why he hates her so much. He wants to know why she is taking this so personally. Sami ignores EJ's question and asks if Johnny is upstairs. EJ says he's upstairs asleep. Sami is going to get him - they can talk later. EJ wants to talk now. Stefano walks in - Samantha you aren't keeping any secrets anymore, are you? Nicole asks Tony if he couldn't get his revenge some other way, a way that wouldn't hurt Sydney. Tony gloats - this is just too perfect. My father hands over power to a man who didn't even know his wife wasn't pregnant. He wasn't exactly on top of things, was he? He wonders how she got around that - how many cold showers did that poor man have to take? Nicole slaps him. Tony laughs - he deserved that one - he crossed a line. Nicole begs him. Tony says you're in real agony - why don't they get this over and done with. Sami is in there and she's going to have a big laugh over this one. He heads into the living room with Nicole following. In the living room Sami repeats that she doesn't want to talk about it. EJ does. He tells Stefano that Sami was on the phone talking about a baby named Grace and she's saying it's her baby. Tony and Nicole hear this. Stefano asks - how about the father - anyone you know. Sami answers no and she doesn't know the mother either. EJ - what do you mean? Sami tells him it's none of his damn business but ... I've decided to adopt a baby.

EJ asks her if she's out of her mind. Sami says it's over - it's done. If he insists on having this conversation he can get rid of those clowns. Nicole says Sami is right and tells Stefano and Tony they should go. They never make it out of the room. Sami reminds EJ that this is her life - she is no longer part of this disgusting family. And anyway this isn't his business, it's hers. EJ says she has just been in the Witness Protection program. How did she find a baby, let alone adopt one. Sami came here to pick up her sick son, not be interrogated by him. EJ wants her to just answer his question. Nicole chimes in - just tell him - you know they're not going to stop until you do. Sami - I saw a man get murdered on your doorstep and I was separated from my family, my children for months. I missed them beyond anything - it was like a physical pain. This poor woman where she was staying abandoned her baby and I helped take care of her and I fell in love with her. And I swore to her if I ever found a way to get home to my family, to my home, I would bring her back - I would give her a home, I would give her a family and I'm going to honour that promise. EJ - that's it? Sami says that is everything he needs to know. EJ - what about your other children - do they mean nothing to you? Sami slaps him. She calls him a pig. Is he serious. Is she supposed to give up everything and spend her life catering to the next DiMera prince? How dare he question how much she loves her children. She would NEVER stand there and tell him he loves Johnny less because of that new baby. EJ says he only has one other child and that child has a mother and that mother has a staff of people to support her. If she goes through with this she is going to have two toddlers and a teenager and an infant and she's going to be on her own. He's as concerned for Will and Allie as he is for Johnny. Sami - Oh stop it. You're not concerned about anyone but yourself. EJ asks if she has really thought this through. Taking a child away from the most abusive and violent situations is incredibly difficult. Adoption - there are stringent requirements - there are very high standards. Sami tells him not to lose sleep over it, she will handle it. EJ - you said the mother abandoned the child - what about the father. He has rights in this too.

Sami thinks he would say anything to get what he wants - all of a sudden he cares about some guy he doesn't even know - he's more important than I am? EJ is thinking about her. He's seen her with kids - he's seen her with her own kids - you bond with them with your whole heart and soul from the first moment you see them. Sami - that's exactly how I feel about Grace. EJ - how would you feel if someone took Grace from you. It would kill you, right? You're vulnerable. Your full heart for kids - that's one of the things he loves about her the most. You really need to go slowly. Get a lawyer. Can you find out who the mother is? Can you do this without the father knowing. You need to make sure you're not in a situation where legally someone can come along and take that child from you. Sami tells him to stop it. He made such an effort to get permission to call her when she was in that safe house so you could inform me that you had moved on so do it - move on, stay out of my life. She's crying as she starts to leave. She stops - if Johnny wakes up and he wants her, please call her otherwise they have nothing to say to each other. Nothing except our son, do you hear me? She leaves. Tony - Oh my how kids stir things up, don't they? Tony and Nicole are alone in the living room - he offers her a drink. She says no. Tony thought he was the one with the big bombshell - he still has it - he just didn't want to be upstaged by Samantha Brady. Nicole - wouldn't want to spoil your fun. Tony says she is acting like this is his fault. Nicole tells him to just do it. Tell EJ everything and then they'll see who EJ believes. Of course EJ hears this - believes about what?

Tony was teasing Nicole - she said Sydney was a beautiful child and he said that he thought Johnny was much more stunning. EJ says that was a stupid thing to say. Tony - I know but then I don't do anything right anymore. He's always afraid that he's going to say something else at the wrong time. He says it was a lovely christening, a lovely child - but then you two have it all, don't you. He shuts the doors behind him as he leaves. EJ asks how Nicole is. She's fine - she could really use some peace and quiet. He tells her Johnny is awake - his fever broke. Mary is looking after him. He thought he'd take Sydney out for a walk. She can stay here and relax - he'll tell everyone to leave her alone. He leaves and Nicole breaks down sobbing - what the hell am I going to do. I can't take this anymore. She turns to the booze. She holds up a glass of vodka - here's to Sydney and Grace and to Mia and Sami and Nicole and Tony for blowing all those lies to hell. She drinks. She's going to pour another drink but picks up her cell phone instead. She calls Brady. He asks if the christening went smoothly. It didn't. She asks him to meet her at the pier in an hour. When he answers 'I guess so' she says you have to - I need you. In the foyer EJ tells Stefano that they're going for a walk - would he like to come along. It's just for a walk and maybe a few phone calls now that Nicole is out of ear shot. He'd like to learn a little bit more about how she managed to adopt a baby while she was in the witness protection program. Stefano asks if he is going to call Samantha. No, he thinks the bodyguard is a good place to start. Tony joins them - what is he missing. Stefano says nothing - they were just going to take the baby out for a walk. EJ tells Stefano to take her - Stefano is happy to do it.


Brady Pub - Part 1: Rafe walks in as he's leaving a message for Sami. He's trying to stay cool right now but he's having a hard time believing this. He turns around to take one stupid call and she disappears on him. Sami, call me. Brady, who is sitting at the bar, hears this and asks if he was talking to Sami Brady. Rafe - who the hell are you? Brady introduces himself as Brady Black, Sami's step-brother - he's sorry to have bothered him. Rafe apologises for jumping all over him. Brady asks how he knows Sami. Rafe was her agent when she was in witness protection. Brady - Whoa! Did you get hazard pay for that? Rafe laughs - no he didn't. He asks if Brady and Sami are close. Brady says no - theirs wasn't the most blended family in the world. Rafe says that is too bad - she could really use someone she could trust right now. Brady thinks Rafe sounds worried about her. Rafe says no, not really. Brady's not sure he believes that. She's still in trouble, isn't she? Rafe and Brady sit down at a table when Brady asks again if Sami is in trouble. Rafe tells him not to over-react because of him - guys in his line of work always think something bad is going to happen. Brady - with Sami it usually does. Rafe says she does have quite the history, doesn't she? Being locked up in a safe house you hear a lot of stories, details about a person's life. Usually it's boring ... Brady - except with Sami? Rafe says yes but he got to understand why she's so tough. She's had to do a lot of fighting. Rafe asks Brady if he knows the DiMera's. He does. Does he like them? Some of them some of the time. Rafe asks if he likes Stefano. Not at all. What about his son, EJ? Sami seems to think that he's different from the rest of them - does he agree. Brady responds - he's got that DiMera entitlement thing going on but he doesn't know if he's ruined people's lives like his father has. Rafe thinks entitlement is an understatement. Brady - Sami's out of witness protection, right - they killed that guy. She's out of the program, they caught the guy and Rafe is asking him all these questions about the DiMera's - is he still trying to tell him she's not in trouble?


Hospital: Daniel looks at a report and calls Kate. He just saw her last test results - everything looks better than before. Kate - Really? Dan comments that she doesn't sound very excited - is everything okay. Kate apologises - she's very emotional right now - she's so happy. Lucas and Chloe eloped - they went to Las Vegas. You know our Chloe. She's passionate, impulsive and couldn't wait to be Mrs. Lucas Horton. Dan tells her to wish them the best. Kate rubs it - they'll be having a reception so he'll get his chance to kiss the bride. Maggie brings some files that Admissions needs him to verify. After a couple or remarks Dan tells Maggie that he's come to realise that she was right about everything. Maggie asks - what was she right about. Dan answers - me. He doesn't have a lot to be proud of these last couple of months. Maggie says it would be a lot easier to loathe him if he didn't express any remorse. He tells her she's the kind of person that other people care about what she thinks. She's honest and direct. He's asking her to forgive. She asks if it really matters whether she forgives him or not. He says - not me, Chloe.

He tells her to blame him. Chloe was trying to do the right thing and he put her in a horrible position. He just kept putting on the pressure. Maggie makes a sarcastic remark and Dan says that isn't like her. She stood by Lucas when he made a mistake - she didn't lord it over him. She admits that she does think Chloe screwed up. Dan says she is trying to make amends - it's done. It's stopped. She needs her support - isn't that what's best for Lucas. Maggie says he's making this all about Chloe like he's not even in the picture anymore. Dan says he isn't. Maggie says what if you get bored and decide to apply the pressure again - is he saying that Chloe is going to be to resist. Does he expect her to believe that he is going to bow out gracefully. Dan says what she needs to believe is that he and Chloe are history. Chloe and Lucas eloped - they're married. Maggie comments that he seems calm about it. Dan shrugs - it makes Chloe happy because she loves Lucas very much. Maggie says not that she doesn't believe him ... she pulls out her cell phone and calls Lucas. After the call she tell Dan he was right - they are married. Dan thinks that is a good thing - they're going to be very happy together. Maggie asks if he's really able to let her go. Dan - isn't that what's best for Chloe. Maggie turns to go back to Admissions with the files but stops and tells him that she doesn't hate him as much as she did half an hour ago.


JP's office: Just as Kate finishes her call from Daniel Lucas and Chloe walk in. She holds up the DVD - looking for this? Lucas - what the hell are you doing here? Kate thinks it should be obvious that she's here for the wedding. Lucas will make her a copy of the DVD - how did she know about it? Kate says she had to find out from Will that her son was getting married because her son couldn't be bothered to tell her. Lucas informs her they didn't tell her because it was private. It's his experience that whatever she knows about she interferes in. Chloe tells them to stop. She is sorry - she knew that Kate wanted to be there. Kate lays on the guilt trip - she wanted to share the moment. What did she do that was so terrible that she was exiled from their lives? Chloe tells her she didn't do anything wrong, it was her. Kate asks Chloe what she has done. Chloe doesn't want her to be mad at Lucas - he was just trying to make her happy. Kate thought she was happy. Lucas steps in - they eloped because they wanted privacy and she showed up and put herself in the middle of everything again. Chloe tries to stop him. Lucas says no, she's a big girl, she's tough - she can take this. They are man and wife now and there's nothing she can do about it. He turns to Kate - she won, deal with it.Chloe takes the blame - she freaked out and begged Lucas to do this. She didn't think about how it would affect other people. Kate wants to talk honestly. When she says she was freaked out that scares her for Chloe. She wants the two of them to be happy long term - she doesn't want them to repeat their history. Chloe says they don't want to either - that's why they did this. Kate asks if she thinks getting married in this hasty manner as a knee jerk rejection to being nervous is a basis for a solid marriage. Lucas asks her what she wants them to do - they're already married. Kate wants them to annul the marriage.

Lucas tells her she went to far. She's trying to help them. They don't want to look back on getting married as an emotional impulse - that will not get them through the hard times. Lucas says and you're an expert on marriages? Chloe doesn't want them to fight about this. Kate takes this to mean that Chloe understands what she's trying to say. Chloe is just trying to make sure that neither of them will say something they'll regret - they've been so close lately. It's not worth the risk. Kate disagrees. She looks at Chloe - you can't tell me that deep in your heart you don't think that this was a big mistake. Chloe says she will do almost anything to make things right between them - they'll restate their vows in Salem, have a reception if she wants but they will not annul this marriage. Lucas tells her it's non-negotiable. His cell rings - it's Maggie - he steps out of the room to take the call. Chloe tells Kate that she knows a big wedding meant a lot to her. Kate isn't concerned about the wedding - she's worried about the marriage. She thinks they need to have a little talk alone. Lucas tells Maggie they decided to elope - he knows she was looking forward to the wedding. Maggie was looking forward to him being happy - so is he? He really is. Maggie tells him to give Chloe a hug from her - they'll have a big party when they get back. Chloe tells Kate they can talk about anything except an annulment. Kate says it's your decision. Chloe says yes and it's one she won't regret. She leaves to find Lucas. Kate states - and your decision just seals your fate.


Waterfront: Chelsea and Theo come along and chat with Max. These are really great scenes that need to be watched to be appreciated. Apparently Theo is going to be in a play - he tells Max he wants to go home. When Max finds out the play is about wild animals he says - lions and tigers? He gets Theo to admit he's scared of lions. Max finds out that Theo will be playing a lion and tells him there won't be any real animals - just other kids his size - besides he'll be the king of the jungle - no one will mess with him. He does a lion's roar and gets Chelsea to do one and then Theo. At the end of it all three of them are roaring.


Brady Pub - Part 2: Brady - witness protection is Federal, what are you still doing in Salem? He's tying up loose ends. Brady - you just can't quit her, can you? Every time Sami's ever been in trouble there's always been the guy that's determined to save her. Rafe - it's nice to know I'm one in a long line of suckers. Sami comes in - she's so glad he's here. Oh god, something horrible has happened - I really need your help - she leans against him. Brady watches them and mutters ... the more things change ... Sami notices Brady - they hug and exchange greetings. Sami says she talked to her mom and she told her that his dad is doing really well. Brady says he is - he talked to him yesterday and he sounds great. He tells Sami they really need to talk and catch up. He can see that she wants to talk to this other guy ... Sami is going to introduce them but Brady says they met - heck, they're old friends now. He tells her to call him and tells Rafe to take care of her and leaves.

Rafe asks Sami what happened. She tells him they need to go and get Grace right now. Rafe doesn't let Sami get a word in as he says they talked about this. He's trying to help her but he can't if one he turns around and she disappears and two every time he turns around it's 'we've got to get Grace.' Sami says he doesn't understand. He doesn't understand - does she think this a game? She is dealing with a family that is known to kill people and you're like 'Rafe I can handle this. I'm just going to show up with a baby out of the blue and every thing will be fine'. Sami asks if he is seriously standing there lecturing her about the DiMera's. Rafe says yeah am I and it's funny because you don't listen to me - in fact you don't listen to anyone. Sami tells him that listen and obey don't mean the same thing. She's not the dizzy blonde and he's not the brains of the organization and he doesn't get to give her orders especially when he doesn't know what just happened. Rafe says actually he does know what is going on. Sami - this is my baby, my family, my decision and you don't get a say in it. Rafe - Sweet. I thought that we were in this together but clearly you are the boss. Sami says she has had a really horrible day - one man after the other telling her what to do and she's sick of it. Rafe - Oh, so you think I'm like that? Sami says he isn't listening to her. That's fine - she can do this on her own. He's still a cop - he can push around whoever he wants all day long. Rafe sarcastically - That's good because that all I want. He picks up his jacket and says nice knowing you. As he's leaving he tells her to have a nice life.


Cheating Heart: After Chelsea and Max do the obligatory product placement ad and talk about Theo they flirt and banter and then kiss.


Preview: Tony to Philip - I'm really sorry we couldn't come to some kind of understanding. I really am. Philip - You're not going anywhere. Brady to Dan - You're not over her then, are you? DiMera mansion - Part 1: Tony gets a call from Philip. Philip wants to get together and talk but Tony is resistant - he's very busy. He finally agrees to meet with Philip on the pier in 30 minutes but he tells him it's futile - what's done is done.


Kiriakis mansion: Dan comes to see Kate. Brady tells him that she went to Vegas for Chloe and Lucas's wedding. Dan - she went with them? Brady says she just wanted to be around them and wish them well. Dan hopes that is the case. Brady asks if he and Kate are still together. No he just wanted to talk to him. Brady brings up the new woman in his life Dan mentioned ... Dan says he's not with anyone now. Brady is single too. Brady goes back to the new woman in Dan's life but Dan snaps - he said he wasn't with anyone. Dan apologises for snapping - he keeps expecting it to get easier but it doesn't. Brady comments that he still isn't over her. Daniel answers he has to be because she's over me. Brady can relate to what he's going through. Dan says he brought it on himself - he shouldn't have gotten involved with her. He mentions that she's already moved on. Brady comments that is the hardest part - it is for him right now. Even though he and Chloe are divorced he doesn't like the fact that she's already remarried. That sense of possessiveness bothers him. He's not sure it will ever go away. He talks about their marriage and how Chloe thought she was doing the right thing by trying to salvage their relationship but he didn't think it was the right thing - their marriage was over. He was an addict and she had this incredible feeling of responsibility - she thought it was her fault that he started using. He admits that it was never right from the beginning - there was always something missing. If he hadn't been so messed up he might have been able to make her see that. Sometimes the right thing is actually the wrong thing in disguise.

Dan talks about the woman he was involved with. She was consumed with guilt and felt responsible for this guy's mental stability. He tried to convince her that they had a shot at real love but no dice. He has to let it go. Why is it that the harder we fight for what we want it doesn't work out. Brady thinks it has something to do with balance in relationships and in business too. Dan asks if there's trouble at Titan. Brady answers that it seems like if there's any bad decisions to be made Philip makes them. And then he doesn't acknowledge them and if you confront him he goes ballistic. Dan says that doesn't sound like Philip. Brady says he's changed - he's way off his game right now. Brady doesn't like talking out of school - Philip is a decent guy but his grandfather has had an issue with the way Philip is running Titan for months - that's why he made him vice-CEO. Brady adds that Victor has pulled him aside several times and told him in private that he thinks that he (Brady) should be running the company. Dan knows Victor - he's as savvy as they come. He knows what is going on and he'll do right by Titan. Dan says he should be going - he tells Brady to let him know how it goes with Philip. Brady tells Dan that he knows it sounds trite but things change - maybe this woman will change her mind. Don't give up hope.


Plane: Lucas and Chloe are kissing when Kate tells them she's sitting across from them - first class was full. Kate watches as Lucas and Chloe kiss and nuzzle and thinks to herself - 'Such a happy, happy girl worshipped and adored by her clueless husband. Better enjoy it while you can my sweet because lying sluts that betray my son ... well, I'm afraid your rosy future is about to turn very, very bleak.' More nuzzling from Lucas as Chloe tries to get him to behave himself. The flight attendant comes along with headphones. Kate has a fantasy of grabbing a set and strangling Chloe with it as Lucas watches in horror as she yells die, die, die. She passes on purchasing a headset. Lucas and Chloe are talking about their mansion and having at least a dozen kids when Kate says that is it. She can't take it anymore - shut up. The two of them giggling like fools and yammering on about their dream house and babies and it's making her sick. Chloe asks what is wrong. Kate stands up and answers 'as if you don't know. Why don't you just tell him the truth you lying little pig.' Lucas tells her to stop. She asks him how he can be so trusting. Chloe has been cheating on him with Daniel. She's been making a fool of you by having sex with him. Chloe says it's not true. Kate orders her to tell him the truth for once - you have been carrying on with Daniel for months. Lucas ask Chloe to tell him it's not true - but she can't. He asks her why. Chloe says 'because I'm in love with him.' Lucas gets up and walks away. Kate tells Chloe it's over. Chloe asks her why she would tell him. Because she loves her son and she's not going to let a lying little slut like her destroy his life. Of course this is all a fantasy. Kate watches and listens as they make plans and mutters maybe the honest to God truth is the only way to go.

Chloe tells Lucas he wants to rest - not him, he's still running on adrenaline - they were up all night. Kate thinks to herself that Victor is probably right - if she tells Lucas the truth about Chloe she'll lose him but if she doesn't he'll end up broken-hearted ... he's already fallen off the wagon once. Lucas comes over to sit with her while Chloe naps - he thanks Kate for being so nice to Chloe - it means a lot for him. Kate only wants the best for him. There is something she needs to tell him. She's going to be fine with whatever he and Chloe decide to do. She was upset about the elopement but who is she to stand in his way. Like he said she's constantly interfering in her children's lives but he's an adult and if he decides to live his life with Chloe she'll be more than happy. Lucas knows her - something is off - something is going on here. Kate admits that something is bothering her. She asks him to promise not to get angry with her. As much as she loves, loves, loves Chloe for saving her life she can't shake the feeling that someday she is going to break your heart. Chloe hears this. Lucas comments on her timing for spoiling his happiness. He says that Chloe won't break his heart - she's perfectly loyal to him and Allie. Kate hopes so. If history tells them anything - his track record with women has been spotty. He says that Chloe is not Sami - she doesn't lie, cheat or manipulate. She's a compassionate, caring woman and he made the right decision by marrying her. Kate worries because she loves him. He tells her not to worry - stay positive. He insists his decision was right - she has to trust in that. Chloe speaks up and says 'and trust me.'

Lucas goes back to sit with Chloe. Kate tells Chloe that she wants to trust her. Lucas says then do - Chloe would never hurt him. Kate asks if that is true. Of course. Kate - when you said your wedding vows, did you meant them? Yes, she did, every word. Kate says very well, I believe you. She tells Lucas that one day he'll be just as protective of his grown children and then he'll realise his mother wasn't completely crazy. Lucas knows how lucky he is to have her as a mom. Kate is going to try very hard to cut the umbilical cord. Lucas excuses himself. The flight attendant comes along with some drinks on a tray. Kate tells Chloe that she ordered them some Bloody Mary's just the way she likes them - hot and spicy. She dumps them on Chloe's head. Chloe screams - why the hell would you do that? She goes and
Lucas returns. Kate thinks Chloe went to get dry. Lucas wants to know how she got wet. Of course that was just a fantasy - one Kate thinks would be good for a laugh but it's time to get serious. Kate works on laptop look for options on how to destroy that bitch and be stealthy, under the radar, discreet ... After some searching she finds something and says that could definitely work.


Brady Pub: Bo is being interviewed by Jake from the Salem Spectator. He talks about taking things straight from the training manual 'don't take things personally.' He's not been able to follow that advice - he's taken things personally all of his career. That's who he is. It didn't do much good in some situations but in the long run it has. Jake asks about being his big brother's boss. Hope comes along and says forget the brother, you should be asking about his wife. Jake asks Hope how her husband's position affects her. She tells him the bottom line is they do their jobs. They don't always agree but they try not to take their work home. Roman walks in and greets them. Jake asks Roman for a moment of his time - maybe get a few quotes from him. They move from Bo and Hope's table to the bar. Bo tells Hope that she's a natural (with the reporter). Hope sighs - she hopes that the reporter didn't suspect. Bo - that the Commissioner is going bonkers? Hope says it's not only him - it's her problem too. She knows the guy didn't suspect anything - she's just paranoid. Hope makes light of the vision asking if he sees her and this guy in the back seat of a car, bed or the kitchen. Bo tells her not to make jokes. She was just trying to make light of it - this whole thing is so crazy. They can't take it seriously because it can't happen - it never will. Hope wants to know more of his last vision - who was the guy, Rafe, Daniel, Tom Cruise? Bo doesn't know who it was. This last vision was more intense. It seemed like she really wanted to be with his guy. Hope tells him he has to let this go. Bo reminds her he has no control over the visions - they just happen to him. Hope tells him he can choose to ignore them. He asks her what would have happened if he ignored the one about Theo's fall or Kayla's shooting. Hope says this can't go on. He says tell me what to do and I'll do it. She wants him to trust in their love, believe in it, trust in her that he's everything. That he will know that there will never be anyone but him. He does believe in their love and he does trust her. She's right - he has to figure out a way to let this go. She tells him that he's her life - he is everything to her and nothing will change. Bo tells her to call the sitter - impromptu date night. They kiss - Roman and Jake see this. Jake says it appears that working together isn't a problem for those two. Roman - Are you kidding me - my brother and Hope ... nothing can come between them. They are in it for the long haul. Hope goes to call the sitter and Roman tells Bo he's taking off. He leaves. Bo has another vision - this time he sees that Hope is in bed with Roman. No - that can't be it. It's impossible.


Waterfront: After some chit chat about the christening Tony tells PK not to take himself so seriously. It will be better for his blood pressure and he'll enjoy his life. Philip is enjoying his life a whole lot. Tony always thought he was tense, tightly wound. Philip is only that way when someone steals from him. Tony assumes he is talking about the deal he made with Ms Leyton. Tony makes it clear that he didn't steal from anyone; it was a perfectly legitimate business deal. Philip says except for one tiny detail - those blueprints belong to me. Tony shrugs - you have your lawyers, I have mine. Philip asks if he doesn't have a problem doing something so morally rephrensible. Tony asks if he thinks that because it doesn't suit his purposes. He makes it clear that he's not working with EJ or his father - he works independently. Tony thinks this boils down to a conflict of generationaly interests. Simply put he doesn't do business with entitled young men who think the world owes them a living - those who were spoon-fed. Philip doesn't either - he refers to people like that as punks. Tony tells Philip that he paid Ms Leyton for the plans and he has the documents to prove it so what is he going to do, sue him? Philip - why would he sue for something that belongs to him.

Philip thinks they have a good rapport. He reminds them of the talk they had before Stefano came out of his coma - Tony said he wanted to separate himself from Stefano's legacy. Tony claims that is exactly what he is doing. Philip thinks stealing sounds very Stefano like. Tony says the deal is done, the project is his and he can operate independently. Philip is offering him the same deal - they're talking big money - Fortune 500. Tony asks if he is saying that if he accepts the offer that Philip will come out of it the same way he will - getting out from his father's shadow. Philip asks if they have a deal. Tony looks at the paper Philip gave him and says he's impressed. Philip says this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Tony gives the paper back and says no thanks. Did Philip think he was a fool. He reads the business section of the newspaper. He and his father haven't been on the same page for months. Victor has lost faith in him that's why he hired Brady Black. He'll probably take over soon. Bottom line - he won't be screwed over. Philip says you mean like I was. Tony smiles - it happens to the best of us - learn from your mistakes. Philip gets sarcastic so Tony says he should be on his way. Philip wants his plans back. Tony suggests that he talk to Nick Fallon - but wait he can't. He's really sorry they couldn't come to some kind of understanding. He starts to leave but Philip stops him - he's not going anywhere - not until they have an agreement.

Philip asks him why he's doing this, sport, vengenance ... why? Tony knows what Philip is going through with his family and he sympathises with him but he has to warn him that it doesn't get any easier. As long as your father is alive he will continue to press you, manipulate you, demean you and then he'll play you against the next heir. Philip says that he doesn't know his father or him. Tony says he can scoff all he likes but he's (Tony) is a living example - toiling in his father's shadow for so long - it changes you and not for the better. That's why he is anxious to get out of here and Philip would be wise to do the same. Philip doesn't need life lessons from a guy who spent two decades on a deserted island. Tony asks if that is how he gets prospective clients to sign on the dotted line - by being this ill-mannered lout? Philip calls Tony a thief. Tony is trying to open his eyes. Philip asks if that part about toiling in his father's shadow was supposed to be some kind of revelation. Tony tells him to have a good look in the mirror and see what's left of me staring back at you. Tony goes on to say in many ways he envys Philip - he still has his youth, ambition and drive. He can make a clean break ... he stops and looks at Philip - but you're not going to do it on my project. He walks away. Brady is walking along leaving a message for Nicole - he's at the pier waiting for her. He notices Philip and says he was just about to call him again. Philip had his phone off - it helps him to think straight. Brady says your father wants to see you right away. Philip thanks him. Brady is assuming that Philip took his advice and didn't go after Tony. Philip sneers - he always takes his sage advice - he's the man. Brady walks away and Philip mutters 'I'm not going down without a fight Tony DiMera - I'm not going down at all.'


DiMera mansion - Part 2: Tony walks into the living room and pours himself a drink. He stands in front of Stefano's portrait - 'You know Father, I've got a little secret that can destroy EJ's world and I have a plan that will bring you and the Kiriakis clan to their knees. For the first time in a long time I'm proud of myself and wonders of wonders it has nothing to do with you - nothing that would make you happy. A toast - to the slaying of idols, to letting go of the past and to a world I know forward to with a great future.'


Preview: Philip to Victor - I've spent almost my whole life preparing to take over the family business. It's in my blood. Victor - Not anymore. Tony (to himself) Aw, the sweet smell of victory. Nicole to Brady - Everything I've wanted is within reach and I will not let that bastard take it away from me. Roman to Hope - Everything okay? Hope - I think Bo needs help.

Waterfront Part 1: Nicole shows up late due to traffic. She thanks Brady for coming she didnt know who else to turn to. He asks what is wrong. Everything she throws herself into his arms. Brady asks her what she means. She starts nattering on and on about he she thought he just suspected but didnt actually know but he kept taunting her. She tried to play it cool but how could she shes never been so scared in her life. Brady tells her to start from the beginning. It was at the christening she keeps referring to Samis baby as her baby. He waited until everyone was at the church because he knew that would be more painful. He ruined everything that bastard it was supposed to the happiest day of her life but it ended up being the biggest nightmare. Brady tells her to take it easy tell him what the nightmare is. Nicole my secret is out. Someone knows that shes not Sydneys biological mother. Brady who? She answers Tony DiMera. Brady asks how Tony found out. Nicole than spews venom about the traitor who doesnt care about the baby but only herself. Brady who. Nicole says Mia. Brady but shes in Japan. Nicole says she isnt anymore and now shes making trips to the DiMera mansion and pouring her heart out to Tony. She tells Brady what she told Tony about Mia being mentally ill and having Tourette s syndrome that caused her to just blurt things out. Brady did he buy that Nicole? Nicole says he didnt believe a word I said. He just smiled and was high on her misery knowing that he could ruin her life and make EJ look like a fool. Brady asks if he threatened to tell EJ the truth. Nicole whines that its just a matter of time before she loses everything and her life will be over she turns to Brady for comfort.

Brady tells her she knew the risks she knew this can happen. Nicole gets upset thats all she gets is I told you so when shes dying here. Brady wants to help her but Nicole jumps in shell do this herself. Brady needs more information does Tony have it in for her. Nicole says no. This isnt about her. He just wants to hurt EJ and get revenge on him and his father for pushing him out of the company. Now hes just waiting for the right time to tell EJ but she cant let that time come. Brady asks her what she is going to do. If Tony is determined to do this Nicole says wait, I do have a plan and its perfect, its foolproof you and me. Tony DiMera is going down. She needs leverage with Tony and thing that seems to mean anything to him is the fuels project plans. Brady that rightfully belongs to Titan and yes he wants them back. Nicole so we have to steal them. Shes not kidding. Its simple all they have to do is break into his bedroom, get the blueprints, get out, end of story. She will use the fuel project as ransom to buy Tonys silence. Its perfect we can pull it off. Brady We??? Nicole says yes unless he wants to see her life fall apart. Brady asks her what she wants him to do. She wants him to be her star, her leading man you are going to steal the plans. Youll be more than my leading man youll be my hero. Please do this for her. She would do it herself but Brady says if and when we do this, shes going to go in. She thought shed distract Tony while he went in and did the heist. Brady points out the flaws in her plan how is he going to get past the security detail and just walk into the house and go into Tonys bedroom. If they do this they do it his way. Nicole agrees he can call the shots.


Kiriakis mansion: Victor dumps on Philip for being late. Philip tells him he the situation with the fuels project is under control nothing to get worked up about. Victor demands answers. Philip tells him all the copies of the plans were destroyed except one unfortunately he doesnt have that copy. Victor asks who does. Philip tells him that Tony DiMera has it. Victor calls Tony a jackal hes been trying to get a piece of their kill for years and thanks to Philip he has succeeded. Philip says this isnt over. Victor wants to know how he could let this happen. Philip says the sneaky little bitch Melanie sold it to Tony. Philip knows that he screwed up but hell fix it. Just give him a chance and he promises hell get it back. Victor tells him his promises dont mean anything and hes run out of time. Philip says he will devout himself to this 24/7. The only thing Victor will allow him to devout himself to is getting out of his sight. Philip asks for another chance. Victor tells him he had his chance, he blew it. Youre fired effective immediately. He wants him to go to the office and pack his things he wants him out by sundown. Philip knows he is furious Victor says that is an understatement. He went up against the DiMeras and lost that is unacceptable. He made them a laughing stock in the eyes of their bitterest enemies and hes asking for another chance. Philip sputters you cant just fire me. Hes spent almost all his life getting ready to take over the family business. Its in his blood its all he knows. Victor Not anymore.

Philip asks if hes going to give his job to Brady put it in the hands of the golden boy. Philip asks for a chance to redeem himself hell get the project back. Victor says its too little, too late. Philip asks him to please not give his job to Brady. He cant handle it. Philip says let me have a chance to prove myself. The only thing Victor is going to let him do is look for another job. Philip says that Victor cant handle it himself, he needs his help. Victor says your help to further make a mockery of the company, to lose more money in the worst economy since the Great Depression. He built this empire on his own and hell run it how he sees fit without his help. Philip if you want to get rid of me fine but if you think Im too blame for Titans downward spiral hes dead wrong. Its not his fault the DiMeras play dirty and thats how well hit them back. Victor says he never was man enough to face the consequences of his own actions perhaps today the learning process will start. Hes cutting him off. Philip asks if hes disowning him. Victor shrugs its all semantics, isnt it? Philip looks at him all my life all Ive tried to do is live up to your expectations and now I finally see Victor tells him to finish his sentence. Philip Im done with you. Im on my own now. Victor yes, you are. Philip vows to prove to him that he will defeat the DiMeras he will win. Victor says Good night Philip and Philip walks out.


Cheating Heart Part 1: Chelsea is on the phone with a potential landlord when Stephanie comes in. Chelsea says all the apartments are either dumps or out of her price range. Stephanie tells her shes welcome to stay with her as long as she wants. Chelsea needs her space and with the issues Bo and Hope are having she wants to stay out of their way. Stephanie has an idea shell split the rent with her be her roommate. Stephanie thinks it makes sense but Chelsea doesnt know. Stephanie tells her if its about Max shes perfectly fine with them dating. Its not about Max its about Stephanies new boyfriend. Max and Philip dont get along it will be awkward. After some back and forth dialogue Stephanie convinces Chelsea that they can make this work. Theyll get a two bedroom apartment so they each have their privacy. Stephanie gets a text message and says she has to leave.


Brady Pub Part 1: Bos vision of Hope and Roman in bed together pops into his head again. Hope tells him the sitter said she can stay a couple of more hours. Bo says thats great. Hope keeps talking and then notices the expression on Bos face he promised hed let it go. Please dont do this to her. He says he doesnt have control over these visions but he does. He just has to believe that he does. Bo has the vision again. Bo tells her hell do everything he can to keep control of his thoughts because all he wants to do is enjoy a romantic date night with his wife. She says they cant if he keeps obsessing about the visions. He isnt, hes obsessing about the big meeting with the higher-ups tomorrow. They talk about the meeting and what it is about. Bo doesnt really like these kinds of things. Hope you miss detective work. Bo says some of the time most of the time. Hope thinks he needs a little distraction. Bo says that depends on the distraction does it involve her. Hope kisses him. She tells him that this time, these visions, shes not a shrink but she thinks hes punishing himself and its got to stop. What happened with Kay theyve worked it out, forget it. She just wants him to have peace of mind for him to believe in her love. He says he does they kiss and hug. Hope tells Bo she has to take cookies for Ciara and drop dinner off for them. Shell be back. Bo gets a call from Chelsea and agrees to meet her at the Cheating Heart.


DiMera mansion: Tony looks at the blueprints and smiles. Ah yes, the tide has turned and everything is under control. Tony smiles at himself in the mirror you have the world on a string dont you old boy. Aw the sweet smell of victory. Tony gets a call from Brady and tells him that he just had a face to face with Philip and hes exhausted all the ways there is to say no. Brady says hes not Philip he wants him to meet him at the Pier in 15 minutes. Trust him he has an offer for him that will make it worth his while. Tony is so busy they can schedule a meeting towards the end of the week. Brady only needs 5 minutes of his time not over the phone, face to face is the way he prefers to do business. Tony agrees to meet with Brady. As soon as he leaves, Nicole who has been skulking outside the door, goes into the room and starts her search. She hears a noise outside the door and hides behind the bed. She hears the butler asking if Mr DiMera is in there he has his dry cleaning. Perhaps hell come back later. Nicole searches.


Cheating Heart Part 2: Bo joins Chelsea. Bo wants to know what she wanted to talk to him about. She tells him to go first she can tell by the look in his eye that hes kind of hurting right now whats bothering him. Bo doesnt want to talk about himself whats going on with her. She is doing pretty well in her classes shes still dating Max or does he want to know if theyre still having sex. Bo says if shes happy hes happy. He misses her and would like her to move home. He promises he wont be so over-protective if she pretends that he has a little influence over her. Can she do that for him? She cant because shes getting her own apartment and shes already found a roommate. Its not Max, its Stephanie. Bo thinks that is good. Chelsea brings the subject back to him and Hope after some conversation but Bo stops her. They are fine in fact he has to get going because they have a date planned for tonight. He tells her to keep him in the loop about this apartment thing hes excited for her.


Titan: Philip harasses Jimmy, the security guard to give him a minute. He has his orders. Philip mutters that his own father thinks hes going to steal Stephanie walks in and notices what Philip is doing whats going on. Philip looks at Jimmy Jimmy steps out of the office. Philip tells Stephanie that his father fired him. Shes sorry. Dont be because this is not close to being over. Philip says when Victor found out the project was no longer Titans property he threw me out on my ass. He spent almost his whole life preparing to take over the family company and now hes out of a job and a father (hes holding a picture of Victor). He forgot to mention that his dear old Dad disowned him. Stephanie wonders what is wrong with that man for treating his own son like that. Philip shrugs it is what it is. Stephanie says its his loss if he cant realise hes lucky to have a son like you. She asks Philip what hes going to do now. Hell tell her what hes not going to do and that is give up. He throws the picture of Victor in the trash. Stephanie asks what exactly do you mean. He tells her he isnt going to do anything stupid. Shes sorry for worrying so much but when he hurts she hurts. He doesnt want her to do that. She tells him to walk away from it. Tony has the Fuels project and he cant get it back and shes really sorry he lost his job Philip cuts in hes not sorry, hes mad. This never should have happened and now he has to make it right. Stephanie says no but he tells her to stop it. Dont argue with him hes his own man he makes his own decisions. She picks up her to stuff leave. He tells her hes sorry but this is his life, his pride, his future and he wont stop. He cant. She walks out.


Brady Pub Part 2: Hope returns and greets Roman. He compliments her shes looking better than usual whats up? She tells him that she and Bo have a date isnt he here? Roman says he must have stepped outside. Is everything okay? Hope isnt sure. She thinks Bo needs help. Roman asks if she is saying Bo needs psychiatric help. Hope says hed kill me for talking about this even to you. Bo has been really stressed lately and hasnt been himself. Roman thinks its the job especially with all the changes Abe is making. People are getting fired, cutbacks its pretty overwhelming especially for a guy like Bo who takes it all to heart. Hope says thats what is it that must be the problem. She tells Roman she feels much better. They hug. Bo sees them hugging as he gets to the door of the pub. Hope tells Roman shes going to wait outside for him and meets Bo just as hes coming in. He tells her that he has to cancel date night. He has to go to the office. Hell see her at home later.


Waterfront Part 2: Brady leaves Tony a message where are you hopefully youre on your way. Nicole comes back the blueprints arent in his room. This is a disaster. Tony is going to tell EJ and her life is going to be over. Brady hugs her theyll find a way. Nicoles cell rings its Tony. Tony says Nicole, youve had a quite a day, havent you? You and Brady make quite the team. Its a shame they couldnt have worked this out peacefully but maybe the truth will set you free, Nicole. He hangs up on her as shes screaming at him. She tells Brady that she has to stop him she runs off.

Brady to Philip Then what are you going to do? Philip Whatever I have to. Sami to Rafe You do care, right? Rafe pulls her into a kiss.

Convent: Rafe asks Sami if she is ready to go. She tells him she's going to miss this place - a lot of special things happened here. Rafe - like hiding out from a killer and almost getting killed? She reminds him that the birth of her beautiful daughter Grace was a happy time. She talks about Grace waking up during the night and having to rock her back to sleep - about him learning how to change a diaper. He smiles - he's an expert at that now. Sami thanks him for saving her life. He tells her that was his job. She says that he kept the secret about Grace - he didn't have to do that. She doesn't know how she'll ever repay him. Rafe says if she really wants to repay him she can try and stay out of trouble - he chuckles - for a second he forgot who he was talking to. He gets a call from one of the places he interviewed for a job - he steps out of the room. Sami talks to Grace as Sister Agnes listens - she says 'beautiful baby. You must be Samantha.' Sami asks how she knows her name. Sr Agnes tells her name - she was assigned here when it was an orphanage. Sami surmises that she knew Rafe when he was little. She did - when he was a teenager she looked after him for several years. Sami says - you must know a lot about him. Sr Agnes says they were quite close. Sami would like to ask her some questions - she'd like to know more about Rafe. Sr Agnes says Sami is just like Rafe described her. Sami smiles - what does that mean. She'd like to know what Rafe was like as a kid. Sr Agnes says he was shy, funny, opinated, stubborn and he had a rebellious streak. Sami asks about Rafe's parents. Sr Agnes doesn't answer. Sami says that Rafe never talks about himself - did something happen? Sr Agnes - there has been a tragedy in Rafe's life.

Sr Agnes says if Rafe hasn't told her about his past ... Sami realises that it's not her place to tell her but if she could give her some kind of hint. Sr Agnes can tell her that he's a good man with a good heart and she can only hope that he can find someone who can respect and accept him for who he is and not try and change him. Rafe comes in and looks at their expressions - are they talking about him? Sr Agnes tells Sami it was very nice to meet her. Sami tells her she doesn't have to go. She has some business to attend to while Sr Theresa is away. Sami wanted to say goodbye to Sr. T. Sr Agnes tells Sami that Sr T said she can stop by at any time. Sami will. Sr Agnes tells Rafe not to be a stranger. He won't - he gives her a hug. Sr Agnes tells him he was right about this woman and leaves. Sami asks him what does this mean - that you were right about me. Rafe says it means that you're a handful - sticking your nose in where it doesn't belong. Sami denies that and than says maybe I do but that's because you don't tell me anything. She asks if he got the job. He didn't. He asks if she is ready to go. There's something she has to do first. She asks him how he would feel about attending a christening. Rafe - for Grace? Sami says before we take her home. She spoke to Father Matt and he can do it this afternoon. Sami needs a favour. Rafe - this doesn't involve laughing penguins, does it? No - she was wondering if he would be Grace's godfather. She wants Grace to have someone like him in her life. Someone she can look up to. He's done so much for her, he's been there for her - she wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for him and she
wants Grace to know that. And she wants Grace to have him there if she ever needs someone to protect her. Rafe would be honoured to be Grace's godfather.


Hospital - Part 1: After congratulating Chloe on her wedding Daniel apologises for all the pain he caused her. She tells him there's no need - Lucas arrives and stares at the two of them. He joins them - all smiles. Chloe thought he was going to spend time with Will. Lucas shrugs - Will wants to hang with his 'home boys' and play b-ball. Chloe tells Lucas she was just thanking Dan for everything he has done for all of them. She leaves to go to her appointment. Lucas thanks Daniel for his talk - that's why he and Chloe eloped. Dan shrugs - Lucas just needed some perspective. Lucas stresses the importance of what Daniel told him by saying he doesn't think that he and Chloe would be married at all if it wasn't for Daniel talking some sense into him. Lucas says eloping was a great idea although he knows his mother was looking forward to a big wedding. Lucas talks about Kate showing up - he felt like a 10 year old idiot. He knows that she does it out of love - he didn't say anything because of all Kate has been through - Chloe and he managed to have their fun anyway. Daniel gets a page - he has an emergency. Lucas thanks him once again.


DiMera mansion: Stefano rants about that ungrateful S.O.B. Tony is dead to him. EJ finally gets a word in edgewise - he thinks there is more to this. Stefano scoffs and insults Tony some more. EJ thinks that Tony has a secret and he can't help thinking that it has something to do with Nicole. Stefano asks if EJ is insinuating that there is something going on between Tony and Nicole. EJ says no - he's not sure even if Tony likes Nicole. Stefano - like her? He sneers when he sees her. EJ - no that would be you father. Stefano goes on a rant about how misunderstood he is. EJ tells him to stop feeling sorry for himself (maybe not in those exact words - but that is what he insinuated). He wants them to talk about Tony. This starts Stefano on another long rant about how Tony was weak from the day he was born but he stood by him and supported him. He goes on and on about everything he did for Tony. He then thinks it's just a case of Tony being jealous of EJ - he's nothing but a child. EJ disagrees - that child will become a formidable business man if that Alternative Fuels Project comes to fruition. Stefano says EJ is right - he then calls Tony a traitorous S.O.B. Stefano rants and raves - he declares that Tony is going to pay - going to pay dearly. He will come crawling back on his weak knees begging for forgiveness. EJ tells Stefano to step back and think about what he has done - he created this monster - he caused him to do this. He pushed him out of the company - of course he's going to retaliate. Stefano - so you do blame me. EJ is just saying he could see things from Tony's perspective. Stefano is not in the business of catering to his son's bruised ego. He gave him every opportunity - he told him he loved him but what does he do - he goes and makes a mockery of me. EJ wants to know what Stefano has planned for Tony. Stefano tells him to keep quiet - he doesn't want to hear about it. EJ would like him to show some compassion for his brother. Stefano screams, compassion, empathy - what the hell are you talking about? Antony has crossed the line - he has betrayed me. He is no longer a son of mine - he is dead to me. EJ's cell rings - it's Nicole.


Docks: After stating that he isn't asking Tony for anything he slugs him - Nicole watches. More insults are exchanged - Tony tells Philip that he has disgraced the Kiriakis family. He tells Philip he's not getting a thing from him. Philip attacks Tony again but Tony sends Philip flying. Nicole gasps as she sees that Philip's hand is bleeding. Philip calls Tony a bastard. Tony calls him a clumsy oaf. Tony starts walking up the stairs when Philip starts insulting him. He calls Tony the black sheep of his family, a washed up has-been and accuses him of turning his back on his family and betraying them. Tony turns back and it appears the step and railing give out and he falls backwards on to a protruding spike. Philip tells Tony to stay with him when he sees all the blood. He sees Nicole and yells at her to call 911. Nicole stands there recalling Tony's threat to tell EJ the truth about the baby. Philip sees that Nicole is just standing there - he screams at her to call 911. The sirens sound as Nicole calls EJ and tells her there's been an accident at the docks. Tony's been hurt - he's on his way to the hospital - she'll meet him there. Philip comes back and tells Nicole the paramedics said Tony had lost a lot of blood but he should be fine. He asks her how long she was there. She says pretty much from the beginning. Philip is relieved that she knows that it was an accident. Nicole just looks at him and tells him to take care of his hand and walks away. Philip calls her name.


Brady pub: Bo is on the phone talking to someone at the station about Bennett who is lucky to be assigned to desk duty instead of being fired. Hope comes in and comments that he must have left really early. He tells her he had a lot of work to do. Hope thinks it's more like he wanted to avoid her so he wouldn't have to answer her questions about why he cancelled their date. He insists it's about work. She says he's lying. He said that he trusted in their love, trusted in her but he said it just to placate her, didn't he? She wants the truth. Bo admits he is still having the visions of her in bed with another guy - quite frequently. Hope thinks that there is more - he knows who the guy is, doesn't he? Bo grimaces. He says you accuse me of not trusting you and now you're basically saying that you don't believe me - how does she think he should feel? She's sorry. Bo says no, he's sorry - he bailed on their date night - he was very abrupt. He has other things on his mind because work and these visions. Chelsea is looking for an apartment - she's going to live with Stephanie. Hope knows - she talked to Chelsea this morning and Chelsea said he was fine with it. She can tell by his reaction that he isn't. She tells him that Chelsea is still going to see Max no matter where she lives. What happened to the guy in the leather jacket who wasn't so puritanical. Bo says he grew up and became a parent. Hope mentions that Chelsea asked about the two of them - she senses something and is concerned about them. Hope states again that Bo knows who the man in his vision is. Bo reminds her that she was the one that told him that he needed to surpress these thoughts and now she's the one trying to get him to talk about them. She's sorry - she didn't realise that him being distant with her was his way of fighting this thing. Bo apologises again for their date night that didn't happen - he'll make it up to her. Hope gets a page - she has to go. She asks if he can pick up Ciara's presription from the hospital pharmacy. He can.

Lucas and Chloe are there now having Brady burgers - Chloe is talking about her doctor retiring and now she doesn't have one. She picks up her burger but doesn't eat so Lucas asks her what is wrong. She doesn't feel very good - a little nauseous. Lucas suggests going to the hospital. She says no - she's just tired from the trip. Lucas gets a business call - he has to go to the office. He hates leaving her when she's feeling like this. She insists she's fine. He leaves. Chloe has her birth control pills out - she realises she has forgotten to take them daily.


Hospital - Part 2: EJ and Stefano arrive - EJ starts questioning Nicole about what happened. She tells him there was a fight. Stefano wants to know who Tony was fighting with. Philip walks up and says it was me. EJ wants to know what they were fighting about. Philip says like you can't guess. EJ demands an answer. Philip says I thought you DiMera's didn't keep any secrets from each other. Stefano gets in Philip's face and insults him and then says if you did something to my son ... Philip says what happened to Tony was his own damn fault. EJ lunges at Philip but Bo steps in between them. Stefano says - there's no doubt on whose side you fall on. Philip tells Stefano to shut the hell up. Bo tells Stefano if he pushes him he'll slap the cuffs on him. Bo pulls Philip aside - what the hell is going on. He got a call about Tony - was he involved. Philip says they got in a fight but he swears it wasn't his fault. Bo says they'll need a statement. He can't take it because they're brothers - he'll get an officer down here. He curses - he's covered his ass too many time but no more. Philip says there is nothing to cover - he didn't do anything. Dr. Dan comes along - he's afraid he has some bad news. They did everything they could to stop the bleeding. EJ asks if he is saying he's gone. Dr. Dan answers that he's still alive but he's lost a tremendous amount of blood. They've been transfusing him but ... EJ asks what he means - what is going on with him. Dr. Dan is sorry but it just doesn't look good. Philip says he can't die. Bo tells him he's going to have to start talking to him. How did the fight start? Philip says they were at the pier - they got into a shoving match but it was over. He was leaving - he was walking up the stairs. He stumbled, he fell, it was an accident - I didn't touch him. Bo - that's exactly how it went down? Philip asks if he doesn't believe him. Bo says it's a matter of whether the DA believes him - were their any witnesses? Philip says Nicole saw it all. Nicole skulks outside Tony's room - the cop guarding the room gets a call on his cell so he steps away. Nicole goes into Tony's room and stares at him.
Tony opens his eyes - Nicole gives him an evil glare.


St Luke's : Sami is talking to Grace - she notices that Rafe is very quiet. He stammers - she asks if he's nervous. He says he's never been a godfather before - he doesn't exactly know what to do. Sami says he just has to pray for her, be there for her, protect her if she ever needs him - she thinks he can handle it. Father Matt comes in and greets Sami and Grace - he sees Rafe - this must be the proud father. Sami says he's the proud godfather and she introduces Rafe as Raphael Hernandez. Fr Matt asks if the father will be there. Sami says he's not in the picture - is that a problem. No - God welcomes all His children into His church. Are they waiting for anyone else - no family or friends. Sami would love to have them there but they just can't - it will just be the three of them. The baptism follows.

St Luke's : Grace is christened 'Grace Raphaela Brady'. Rafe looks kind of shocked - 'you named her after me?' Father Matt wishes them all the best in the world. Sami and Rafe banter a bit about Grace's name and then Rafe asks her if she thinks little Grace is ready for the big world. Sami wonders if the big world is ready for Grace. Gosh she has 2 brothers and a sister and a family and if any of them don't appreciate how lucky they are to have her in their life ... Rafe tells her it's going to be fine. Sami panics - what if it isn't - she's out there by herself. Rafe assures her that he has her back. Rafe lights candles as Sami tells Grace that she's so lucky to have Rafe as a godfather - he's going to watch out for you because he's trustworthy, caring ... Rafe tells her he's making her sound like a Boy Scout. Sami teases - aren't FBI agents just overgrown boy scouts. Rafe starts listing some things about the FBI and then stops - he's not an FBI agent any longer - he doesn't even have a job. Sami tells him it's going to be fine. Sami asks if they can celebrate the christening now. She's going to get her stuff - she tells Rafe he's in charge. Rafe tells Grace that her godfather is about as crazy about her as her mother is. Rafe continues talking to Grace about how this was a great place for a christening - not a lot of people but no one came to his christening either and he turned out alright. He promises that he won't let bad things happen to her - she's going to be his Princess Grace. No, she's going to be Amazing Grace to him. Sami listens.


Hospital: Stefano ties into Dr. Dan - what the hell kind of doctor is he - he can't stop a man from bleeding? EJ asks if donating their blood with help. Stefano thinks what would help is having a doctor they can trust not the godson of a Kiriakis. His son is fighting for his life because Philip Kiriakis tried to kill him. He doesn't want anyone from that family looking after his son. Stefano wants to see his son right now! Bo gets clarification from Philip - Nicole saw everything? She'll back up your story? Philip says she better. It's the truth. Nicole informs a dying man that they're going to have a chat whether he likes it or not.

Dr. Dan tells Stefano he'll get him in to see Tony as soon as possible. Does he have another doctor in mind? Stefano wants Lexie to be Tony's doctor. Dr. Dan says no, Dr. Carver is the patient's sister. Stefano doesn't care. Dr. Dan will have her paged but until she arrives this is his case. Everything that can be done has been done. The patient is in critical condition to the extreme. He thinks Stefano should call the rest of the family and prepare them for the outcome. Nicole tells Tony he looks awful - she actually feels bad for him but if he hadn't gotten hurt he would have told EJ that Sydney wasn't his child. Tony would have enjoyed watcheing EJ's world come crashing down all beside she had to tell a FEW lies not to mention he would throw her out into the gutter. He got hurt and never had the chance to tell - not that she would have wished this on him but damn it - she is not going to let him open his mouth and ruin her life with EJ. One way or another she is going to make sure he never says a word.

Stefano is raging - where is Alexandra? EJ tells him that she's been paged. EJ asks if he wants to go to the chapel. No, he's going to find a nurse that will take him to see Tony right now. Nicole mocks Tony and his condition and she makes fun of his blood pressure spiking. She gloats - I saved your life so you owe me your life and you're going to repay me by keeping your mouth shut, agreed? She shrieks at him - for God's sake, say something. A nurse comes in and says he can't - you're not supposed to be in. Nicole declares that she is family and she has to talk to him. The nurse looks at her - talk to him? He's incubated and can't say anything. Stefano is beside him - there are actual tears as he says why did I talk to him like that? Why did I tell him I wanted him dead? EJ answers - he betrayed you. You were upset with him. Stefano - upset is one thing but not to tell him that he's no longer a part of my life, my heart, no - he cries. EJ tells him not to punish himself - this is painful enough. Stefano thinks it probably would be better if he could see him. EJ reminds him that the doctor said he's in critical condition. He wonders where Nicole is.

Lexie comes rushing in - what happened. EJ says that Tony was in fight and he went down and his lung was punctured - he lost a lot of blood - that's all they know. Stefano says - you want to know what happened. He points at Philip - that son of a bitch tried to kill your brother - that's what happened. Bo asks Philip if there's anything else he wants to tell him. Philip repeats what happened - that's everything. Bo makes a call - I need you at the hospital, ICU. No, it's Philip. He's going to need your help. Philip asks Bo who he called. Hope, he can't work this case because of their connection. Not that Hope doesn't have that connection but she's one step removed. Philip says Hope is good. She's fair, she'll get this straightened out. Bo comments that Philip seemed tense when he called her. That's because Philip didn't know who he was calling - he could have been calling another cop to come and arrest him. Bo asks why he would do that. Philip tells him he's acting like he doesn't believe him.

Bo believes him but he also knows that Philip is keeping something from him. Does he want to tell him what that is? The nurse asks Nicole to leave again. Nicole asks if Tony will be able to speak again if he recovers. The nurse says of course. Nicole steps out of the room. Lexie looks at Tony's charts - so much damage. Stefano tells her to take over the case. Lexie refuses - Tony is her brother. She can't be his doctor. Trust her - Daniel is the one he wants calling the shots. Stefano doesn't want anyone associated with the Kiriakis family telling him whether his son is going to live or die. Lexie tells him this isn't about him, it's about Tony. Stefano says he's strong, he'll make it. Lexie is going to see Daniel and then Tony. Stefano wants to see him next. Lexie asks where Anna is? EJ says they haven't been able to get a hold of her. Lexie tells him to keep trying. Lexie then says after everything Tony has survived for something like to this happen. Stefano says it was made to happen and the person that made it happen is going to pay dearly.

Nicole slinks back into Tony's room and orders him to wake up. They have to come up with some agreement here - she says can't you at least nod your head. Tony doesn't. She tells him to think about how she saved his life. If he wants to get out of this little adventure of his he better play nice otherwise he might run into a few problems. She taunts him when his blood pressure spikes. Dr Dan rushes in - he notices Nicole and says what are you doing in here? Bo asks Philip why did he meet Tony at the pier. It was business. Bo wants him to elaborate. He can't - trade secrets. Hope arrives. Bo tells her that Philip and Tony got into a fight, Philip won't tell him what it was about and Tony is in ICU. Philip tells Hope he didn't do it - Tony fell. Hope wants to know what the fight was about. Philip already told Bo that it was about confidential trade secrets - he can't go in to it. Bo pulls out his cell - he'll call Victor down he. Philip says don't - he'll talk. Dr. Dan asks Tony if he was in pain. Nicole lies to Dan - she was just so concerned about him she had to come in and see him - is he going to be okay. Dr Dan says no and he tells her to get the hell out. Tony goes into cardiac arrest. Dr. Dan yells for a crash cart. Lexie tells Stefano she doesn't want to hear that kind of talk. Tony is fighting for his life and he's out here making threats - what is he thinking? She tells him to sit down - she'll talk to him when she finds out what is going on. EJ returns - Anna is in Chicago - she's on her way back. Lexie sees the nurses rushing with the crash cart and says OMG and goes after them. Dr Dan yells for the defibrillator. He yells at Nicole to get the hell out but she stands there like she's entitled to be there. Lexie tells Tony to stay strong. As Dr Dan keeps working on getting Tony's heart started Nicole finally leaves the room. She tells EJ and Stefano that she went to see Tony. She doesn't think she was supposed to but she went to his room. Stefano asks - how is my son. Nicole thinks he is dying.

Hope looks at her notes - she thinks she got the picture now. Philip swears that Tony fell - he leaned against the stairwell and it gave out. Bo says it would have been nice if he wouldn't have had to twist his arm to get the whole truth from him. Hope says the important thing is that is all out. She needs to talk to a few people, Tony and the witness to start with. Bo says if she backs up your story this will be ruled as an accident. Philip says we're talking about Nicole - she's liable to say anything. Dr. Dan comes out and Stefano asks how's my son?

Dr Dan tells them Tony's heart stopped but they got it restarted. Right now he's stable. Lexie is with him. Nicole tells EJ she's sorry. She knows that he and Tony have their differences but they're brothers - they have so much in common. EJ shrugs - not really. He admits that he was relieved when Tony said he was moving out because it's been very tense between the two of them since Father asked him to run the company. Now he may not see him at - there's irony in that, maybe? Hope tells Dr Dan she needs to question Tony. Dr. Dan says he's physically unable to talk. Hope wants to know is it his medical opinion that his injuries are the result of an accidental fall or a deliberate wound. (Stefano is listening to their conversation).

Daniel - attack or accident? The upper angle of the wound is what speaks to him. No one could have pushed that wood into him at that angle but he can't say if the fall was accidental or if he was pushed. Lexie comes out and tells Stefano that Tony is stable and resting. Stefano would like to see him. Lexie asked him but he shook his head no. Stefano says at a time like this a father should be with his son. She knows - she'll keep trying. Dan asks Hope what she thinks. She isn't taking a position yet - not until she talks to the witness. Lexie can see that Tony is agitated. She asks him what is wrong - does he think he can write it down. She gives him a pencil and notepad. She tells him to take it easy. This isn't going to be easy. The anaesthetic was administered to his upper torso including his arms. She tells him calm down - nothing is as important as his health. He scribbles EJ - Lexie will go and get him. EJ tells Nicole that she seems upset to. Of course she is - it's so frightening not knowing if he's going to live or die not to mention the poor guy can't communicate with anyone. Lexie comes up to EJ and tells him that Tony would like to see him. EJ tells Nicole he'll be back in a few minutes. Nicole sees Hope coming towards her so she tells EJ to wait - she's coming with him. Hope tells Nicole she needs to ask her a few questions. Nicole tells her it will have to wait - she's going in to see Tony. Lexie tells her that Tony can only have one visitor at a time - he's very weak. EJ goes with Lexie. Hope guesses Nicole has time for her. Nicole wants to know what this is about. Hope tells her it's about Tony. Lexie tells EJ about the anaesthetic - Tony is communicating by writing which is very difficult since his arms were affected by the anaesthesia. She gets paged - Tony's test results are in. EJ sits next to Tony - he jokes - looks like somebody finally found a way to shut him up. He notices that Tony is trying to write so he holds the notepad steady. Hope tells Nicole she is investigating the incident at the pier. Philip told her that she was a witness and she could cooperate his account of what happened. During the fight Tony slipped and fell on a shard of wood - is that true? Is that what really happened? Philip and Stefano watch and listen. EJ watches Tony struggle to write - he's curious - what's so important that he feels he has to write it?


Brady pub: Rafe asks if she is sure she wants to have lunch here. He can get take-out and they can take Grace home. Sami says she didn't bring Grace to Salem just to hide her. She wants to make sure he's straight with the story. Rafe says you were in witness protection, you kept seeing this orphaned kid and you bonded with her. When you got out of witness protection you couldn't get her out of your head so you adopted her. Sami asks if he thinks it will work. Rafe - if you say it with conviction. He goes to order her lunch. Sami is talking to Grace when Will walks in - whose baby is that? Sami thought he was spending time with his Dad today. When she finds out what he did instead she says - you blew off your Dad to play basketball. Will - what, am I supposed to feel guilty? Sami guesses that it hurt Lucas's feelings. Will scoffs - more like relieved. He gets to spend more time with his amazing new wife. Sami says he loves spending time with you - he misses you. Will makes a sarcastic remark and Sami tells him to stop with the sarcasm. He tells her not to act like Dad is dying to see him because it's not true. Besides it's not like they have that great of a time when they're together anyway. They don't have a lot in common. Sami says he's your Dad - there has to be something they can talk about. Will shrugs - they have totally different tastes when it comes to movies and music and it's not like they can joke around. Dad has a really weird sense of humour. Sami tells Will to cut him some slack. She asks him where his cell phone is - she's been trying to call him all morning. He left it at home - what's up. She has terrific news - she wants to introduce him to his new sister Grace. Will says that is so lame - maybe they can have make a TV show and call it Will and Grace. Sami tells him this isn't a joke - she's serious. It's official. She adopted a baby today. Her name is Grace. She's mine ... ours. What does he think? He asks her if she's nuts.

She adopted a baby and this is the first he's hearing of it? Sami didn't know if it was actually going to happen and she didn't want to say anything until she knew for sure. Will says it's all completely bogus - she has two kids already. Sami says and I love them just like I love you. She explains what happened. She gives him the story that she and Rafe went over earlier. Will says you lie and make things up whenever you feel like it and everyone is just supposed to buy it. He reminds her that he heard her on the phone saying Grace. When he asked who Grace was she said she never said Grace. Sami didn't want to say anything then because she wasn't sure it was going to pan out. He says he's been asking her for two weeks - what's going on but she lied to his face as usual. Rafe comes up to the table - he senses the tension so he says he's going out to make some phone calls. Will wants to know if he knew about this. Sami says yes - he was in the safe house and went to the orphanage with her. Rafe steps outside. Sami apologises for not telling Will sooner. He tells her to forget it. She knows he is upset - she wants them to talk about it. Will tells her he hasn't seen her for a year, Johnny and Allie have been without their mother for months and she finally comes home and you're all - look at my new baby. Why shouldn't I be mad cause you neglected us and found a new toy.

Sami says this little girl is not a toy and she never neglected him. Will says it doesn't matter - she's going to do what she wants to do. He gets up to leave. She stops him - let's talk about it. He says not if you're going to cry. She's not crying - she's upset because he's angry. Is he upset because there's going to be a new baby in the house? No. He doesn't know - things were kind of screwed up when he was little. Sami knows and she's spent so much time trying to make it up to him. He's not out to make her feel bad nor does he want her to feel sorry for him - so things were screwed up when he was little. He's here now and he's okay. Sami says he's fantastic - she is so proud of him. All he is saying is that when he was little there was times that he needed her and she wasn't there. Sami knows and she'll never be able to say she's sorry enough for what he went through as a kid. She knows she was far from the perfect mom. Will says now you have a new kid - it's just wrong. Sami says I'm with Grace because I'm her best chance at a good life. She needs me, she needs us - she was abandoned. Will - Yeah, I know the feeling, believe me. She's sorry he feels abandoned but that wasn't the case. She loves him. She has always loved him. She hopes that somewhere inside he really knows that. Will - Yeah. Sami says he was the one that chose to go to Switzerland to live with Carrie and Austin. Will asks if she's saying that he abandoned her. Sami says no - she's not making accusations - she's just trying to explain. They have to find a way to work through this. She knows he is angry with her right now but they are a family and Grace is an innocent in all this. Will nods his head. Sami says she's what is important right now and she's going to need her big brother to look out for her - be there for her. Will - just like my mom was there for me? He notices her tears and says he's done with the tears - he gets up to leave. He tells her not to wait up for her - he's sleeping at Grandma Caroline's. Sami cries. Outside Rafe finishes his call and stops Will. He knows that Grace has got to be a shock for him and it's got to be kind of weird, right? Weird to find out you have this sister like that. Will nods yes. Rafe doesn't blame him for being ticked off but there's something about Grace that he should know.

You got to tell your story now it's her turn to tell hers. Nicole to Hope - I'm too upset to make a statement right now, alright. Just leave me alone.

I got call in in to work unexpectedly. I just got home about an hour ago and watched the show but I already had plans for this afternoon so I don't have any time to write up a report.

Very briefly here's what happens today:

Roman meets Grace and Sami tells him she adopted her. She gives him the witness protection story about going to the orphanage and bonding with her. Roman is not happy with her. For one he doesn't buy her story especially when she won't give him the name of it and another he thinks she didn't think it through. She has two toddlers, no husband, no job and they're in a recession. Sami gets defensive - Roman won't back down so Caroline steps in. She reminds him that times were tough when they adopted Max and Frankie but they got through it. Roman reminds her that she had Shawn to help, Sami has no one. They start talking about the old times and mention Kayla and Kim and how close everyone was. Finally Roman relents and tells Sami that he will be there for her just like Grandma and everyone else.

Rafe doesn't hold back with Will again when Will starts playing the poor me, my mommy doesn't have time for me. Will has no faith in Sami at all - he feels that she'll get bored with Grace in a few weeks just like she did with him. Rafe tells Will to get over himself and stop being a jerk. Will relents a bit - he'll help her out but he's never going to accept Grace as his sister. Rafe jumps on him again - he talks about all Sami did when she was in witness protection was talk about her kids - when she wasn't talking about them she was worrying. Rafe repeats that Grace is very lucky to have Sami looking out for her - that little girl needs Sami. He tells Will to give his mother a chance to show that she has changed.

Sami meets up with Rafe outside the pub and tells him that Grace met her grandfather. Will comes along and tells Sami that he wants to make things work - he'll be home by supper time. Sami is thrilled - she wonders what happened to make him change his mind. Rafe shrugs - kids!


Hospital Nicole is getting barraged from all sides. Hope wants her statement. Philip wants her to tell the truth and not put a DiMera slant on it. Stefano wants her to tell the police that Philip tried to kill Tony. Bo jumps on Philip - stay quiet - he had his turn to tell his story now she gets to tell hers. Bo also tells Stefano to stop trying to influence a witness or he'll face the consequences. Victor comes along and tells Philip not to say another word. Lexie also lectures Stefano about pushing Nicole. Nicole asks her how Tony is doing. Lexie says it doesn't look good and she thinks Tony knows it and that is why he's so desperate to tell EJ something - he's writing a note to EJ.

Good scenes between Victor and Philip - Victor actually tells Philip he is sorry for pushing him, for firing him and disowning him - he knows that is why Philip confronted Tony. Philip says he was the CEO when the DiMera's wiped out their computer system - he deserved to be fired. Victor thinks they have more things to worry about - like him being charged with a felony. Victor comes along and tells Victor that it's not the police he should be worried about. Victor asks him if that is a threat. Stefano doesn't make threats but if something should happen to Tony he would do what any father would do.

Hope keeps trying to get Nicole to talk. With the pressure from all sides Nicole says she's too upset to give a statement. Hope corners Nicole again. Nicole says she heard Tony and Philip arguing ... Bo comes along and needs to talk to Hope. When Hope comes back she asks Nicole if Tony fell or Philip pushed him - Nicole can't say. She can't say anything until she knows how Tony is. Nicole finally goes into Tony's room. EJ has been trying to keep Tony calm - he thinks he is trying to tell him something about Philip but as soon Nicole comes in the room Tony's blood pressure starts rising. Lexie comes in and yells what the hell is going on - when she sees Nicole in the room. She told her only one visitor at a time. EJ takes her out of the room.
Tony flat lines and after a small attempt at reviving him Lexie calls it. She goes out and lets everyone know that they did all they could. Stefano glares at Philip.


Preview: Kate to Chloe - I am going to make you a star. Lucas to Sami - That baby is yours and EJ's. Philip to Victor - And now he's dead and I'm going to have to deal with that for the rest of my life. EJ (holding Nicole) to Brady and Hope - Philip Kiriakis killed my brother. Brady - It's not true. Nicole, tell Hope that it was an accident.
