Anyone interested in "No bang trims till 2010" group?

Hello out there! This tends to be one of the more quiet discussion boards, but I was wondering if there is anyone out there who is growing their bangs out? After getting to chin-length, I cut my bangs (and all hair back), but I know that for me, my hair is thicker and grows better when my bangs are grown out.

Anyone want to join me in a little mini-group to not trim bangs until 2010?

pretty darn curly, especialy the last 8 inches or so, wavy the closer you get to the scalp.
individual strands are medium to fine, all my hair pulled into a pony tail is about 3 1/2" in diameter.

My length is at 30" pretty close to my 32" 1st goal!! YAhoooo!!

Next goal: classic

I haven't been conditioning, but do coconut oil, castor oil and olive oil in rotation.
I wash with an anti dandruf shampoo twice a week, I have naturaly dry hair, and a dry scalp and i find head and shoulders works best so far.
I will be experimenting with my very first Henna/cassia treatment within the next little while, we'll have to see how that goes.

That's awesome!! Sounds like you've really got some growth going on your bangs. It will be exciting to see where you end up in 2010. I will try to post some bang pictures soon. Take care!

My bangs are currently below the jaw line, trying desperately to catch up with the rest of the hair. I think they are feeling left out right now, so I hope they are straining to catch up! : - )

Want to join

August 3 2009, 12:41 PM

It might be to late for me to join, nevertheless I have been growing out my bangs since May and am happy to report that my bangs are down to my lips. I guess this would make me a Sgt.??
In any case I think I was coming very close a couple of times this past month to just chop them off, but then I realized how much I would regret it. Since it has been very hot and humid here in the South, I've bought colorful Mini-Clips/Claws to keep my bangs out of my face.
