Really, Casey? Tell us more. Why was it towed? Was it double parked? Were the teams bags on it? Did it break down? Inquiring minds want to know.

They stopped in STL after making the trek down here, and for some reason they couldn't get into the bus that had their equipment in it. I guess the locks froze over or something, but they couldn't get to their equipment. Hopefully we'll play today, Walker is 5 points away from 100.

I didn't think D2 had shootouts. You meant overtime, right?

no both teams agreed to skip over time and go to a shoot out.Mck won both games in the shoot out.. Michonski from eastern had a great weekend posting around ten goals on the weekend and roberts from Mck posted 12 including two shoot out goals. both teams had a great weekend and the shoot out was greatly appreciated by the fans.

thank you

Congrats to all the MSU seniors, who played their last home game in front of their fans at JVIP. Thanks for the great memories and good luck in the playoffs and regionals - Bobby Saitta, Dan Odenwald, Kevin Rekowski, Joel Livingston, Andy Hellwig, and Jon Baeten. You guys rock!

Wonder how much of a difference the Mck/Eastern series would have been now that power is back? Lord knows goaltending has been there issue all season.

Walker is a class act. I really wish we could know how many points he acually had instead of all the cheese points that were credited to him.

Concerning Jason Walker...Considering I've witnessed every game of this season for SIU-E, Walker definately earned every point this season. He truly is a great player and deserves all the credit in the world for an outstanding season.

Matt
You don't need to defend Walker. I'm guessing some 4th line player that hasn't scored a goal all year is just exhibiting a little Jason envy.

Matt actually had a hat trick a couple games ago...sounds like someone is jealous of Walker's domination over his career (202 points in 58 regular season games)

ISU just wanted to let you know that when teams come to playoffs in two weeks they will have more then ten players on their team. They will also have more then ten wins. Also, congrats to winning this weekend against Robert Morris' junior junior varsity team and the saddest team in the gold division Marquette. ISU had a real strong schedule this year lol what a joke.

I love how all I did was post two scores and someone feels that it is necessary to attack the ISU hockey program. I didn't say we are great, I didn't even say that we won the league tournament, I simply put the scores of the game online. If you are too childish to come onto this website and not be an idiot, then just don't come back. Good luck to everyone at regionals this weekend.

I have seen ISU play for the last three years and I have to personally say that they have improved tremendously. We took them lightly this year and paid for it with a loss. They have three good lines and their power play is really good. The tourney this year will be pretty competitive.
