mck was up 6-0 after first period and played defensively and outworked us their goalie played amazing and their pp was great as well. we need to come out and work hard tomorrow night if we want a shot at first place

If it really was a shootout it counts as a tie in the standings as the MACHA did not vote to allow shootouts at the meetings last year. Anything past the end of sudden death overtime doesn't count.

Kich - can't help with the Mizzou scores but what did your Silver team do this weekend. One game is reported on this board as a shootout win but that's not possible. Can you fill us in? Thx

Silver SIUE lost the first game to Marquette by one and then tied the second in regulation and OT. Marquette wanted a shootout, which SIUE won. I'm guessing game 2 goes down as a tie.

MSU lost to SLU in game 2 by a score of 9-6.

I'm still trying to figure out what game the officials were watching, because they sure had everyone guessing as to what a penalty was on SLU, while anything MSU did was worth 2'. Strange game.
