Thanks for doing all the work to figure this out. Would you like to be the MACHA Webmaster? How are we this close to the end with no current info on the site?
Using your working and adding to it, it seems to me that Iowa and Illinois State also have clinched a playoff spot.
All that is left to see is the order of the finish.
The final spot is open to NIU or EIU. NIU plays MSU and EIU plays SIUe, so NIU looks like they are out. NIU would have to sweep MSU, and that won't happen. If EIU and NIU get no more points, which is likely, EIU is still in.
It looks like this is the likely finish:
MSU
SIUe
Iowa
ISU
or Mizzou
EIU
NIU
RMC-Spr.
First round of the playoffs is almost certainly:
Iowa vs. EIU
ISU vs. Mizzou
MACHA Gold Standings
Team W L T Pts GR Points Possible
*Mo St 12 0 0 24 2 26
*Mizzou 8 5 1 17 0 17
*SIUE 8 4 0 16 2 20
Iowa 6 4 1 13 2 17
ISU 5 6 1 11 2 15
EIU 5 7 0 10 2 14
NIU 3 7 1 7 2 11
RMC-S 1 13 0 2 0 2
I hope the formatting holds up!

I don't understand how everyone puts that NIU has 3 wins?? According to their web site the only MACHA Gold team they beat is RMC Springfield.. so why on the MACHA web site and this forum to people keep saying they have 3 wins????? EIU will be the 6th spot for the playoffs unless people keep giving NIU this win that never happened... |

Yup your right...thanks for the correction. I read on the MACHA website that NIU had 3 wins. From that I had updated the standings with the results from the following weeks, my fault.

Whoever updates the MACHA site does such a terrible job.
Marquette is showing a record of 11-2-1, meaning they have played all 14 league games.
But they still have 2 scheduled against MSU.
Maybe we should email this guy all the corrections he needs to make. | |
