Well, here we are. Your thoughts on all/some/or a couple of the games this weekend...
Gold
#4 Mo State vs. #2 GVSU - A win could move them into the #3 spot...
#4 Mo State vs. Nebraska
#11 Iowa vs. #15 ISU - Iowa can take 3rd place with a Sweep of ISU, and have a chance at moving into the top 10; ISU can take 4th with a sweep of Iowa.
#12 SIUE vs. EIU; 1 win clinches a bye for second place in the division
#12 SIUE vs. #2 GVSU; Has the advantage of playing GVSU last after two very tough games against Mo State and Mizzou
Mizzou vs. #2 GVSU - A chance for an underrated Mizzou team to crack the top 15
Silver
SIUE Silver vs. McKendree - Can SIUE-Silver notch their first ever win vs. McKendree? A win for McK clinches 1st in Silver (would win Goal Differential tiebreaker vs. Marquette)
Mo State JV vs. Marquette - #2 vs #3 in the Silver
Western vs. Wheaton
Bradley vs. ISU JV
Interleague Play
NIU vs Northwestern
Other Games of Importance
#8 RMC-Maroon vs #9 Lindenwood - a sweep may knock RMC out of the top 10 and LU into the #7 spot

kich, i agree with you. mizzou is underrated, but the game vs gvsu isn't a chance to get ranked top 15. it should be a chance to be top ten. same for siue. its doubtful, but who knows.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Unfortunately, what it should be isn't always the end result. Everyone in the league knows that Mizzou can hold their own. We know that on a first hand basis. The bias is so strong for the Northern teams that other teams wont get in. Mizzou should have cracked the top 15 a couple rankings periods ago, but many pollsters just look at wins, instead of the whole picture.

CKich30 that was one hell of a game you played yesterday.

It sure is nice to see you playing well.

I wish I could have stuck around to congratulate you in person.

SIUE vs GVSU shots were 23 to 65 according to the score sheet. Still a solid game for you, Kich.

A great example of how the difference between a good gold team and a good silver team can be goaltending. I know there are other factors sometimes too so you don't need to respond and list them. That is a credit to these guys doing such a great job in net.
