Any ideas on the all-star selections for the MACHA gold and silver divisions?

There were a lot of great players in both divisions.

Silver:
F- Scott Roberts, Mckendree, 69 pts- 34 goals, 35 assists
F- Nick Dreyer, Mckendree, 68 pts- 39 goals, 29 assists
F- Charlie Donze, Mckendree, 63 pts- 24 goals, 39 assists
F- Eric James, Western Illinois, 33 pts- 23 goals, 10 assists
F- Marty Wilkins, Marquette, 30 pts- 21 goals, 9 assists
D- John Karl, Missouri State, 34 pts- 12 goals, 22 assists
D- Chris Donahue, Mckendree, 27 pts- 5 goals, 22 assists
G- Stephen Glapa, Marquette, 715 MIN, 3.35 GAA, 3 SO, 40 GA
G- Brian Andris, Missouri State, 349 MIN, 2.58 GAA, 1 SO, 15 GA

Any thoughts on Gold?

Darren McKane for Bradley should be on there. Or at least an honorable mention... He is the best beatboxer on campus.

Michael Dolan should get recognition as well. He missed the first 5 games of the year (ISU series, MoSt, and and RMC-Springfield series) still ended up with 21 G 17A 38pts.

I agree. I noticed mizzou has great goaltending. I think they allowed 6 goals in the 3 games this weekend facing well over 100 shots.

I dunno about casey. i think mizzou has by far the best goalies, but going by numbers, i have to go with either brown or peopping from mo. state.

they clearly have better numbers.

The big freshman goalie is Luke Venker. He had a very solid rookie year this year. The goaltending at SIUE will be strong for years to come.

John Karl is a forward for Missouri State so I doubt he should be there. You gotta give Gleason some consideration. His stats are all screwed up on the ACHA website.

that's definitely true. when he moved down from varsity, his usual number was being used by someone else, and ended up using my jersey (6) often, but other numbers as well. unfortunately, our jersey numbers were totally messed up. point being that his stats are not nearly accurate.

So gleason's penalty minutes are not accurate as well. He spent more time in the box for JV than he did on the ice for varsity.

The league does an All-First Team, and All-Second team comprised of 3F, 2D, and a Goalie for both Gold and Silver Divisions. They, along with Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive POY, and Goaltender of the Year, should be announced at the league meeting in a couple weeks.
