What was wrong with the old way? Maybe someone needs to start another forum so everyone can speak their mind without being censored.Does the new moderator know who Joseph Stalin was? We still live in a free country...

If you want to preach free speech, go to a forum that talks about that from both sides of the coin, I'm sure you'll have a blast. On here, we talk hockey, and do so hopefully within the bounds of good taste (read forum disclaimer below).
The league has been gracious enough to relink this forum to the league website to get the opinions/input/scores of pretty much the entire Midwest. So yes there will be censoring on here, including much of the incessant rambling that goes on here.
There's a lot that I let go, including your last post. Using Stalin as a parallel to how a moderator cleans things up on the board is ignorant. If you have a problem with how I run the board, send me an email, or see me when SIUE comes to your town. I'll be more than happy to talk with you about it.
We are not talking about politics, so yes, that got edited.

Sounds like "He who has the gold, makes the rules"
Let's call it like it is. Start your own forums and let people say whatever they want if you're not happy with the one here. I don't necessarily like the "censorship" but it is what it is.

I do have a somewhat of a problem with censorship only when I saw what was written before it was censored. In a few cases there have been a few lines Kich has edited, which I thought was unnecessary to delete. That being said, I would rather have someone trying to keep this forum sane than read some of the forums that are nothing but riddled with trash and other schizophrenic comments.
To those who disagree, this still is a FREE forum, but would you rather make your comments by a bunch of pulldowns and preset words?
Thanks Kich for keeping the forum clean.

This forum has been created with the purpose to constructively discuss college club hockey. We encourage you to freely discuss any topic you wish, with the caveat that you keep the discourse within the bounds of good taste. While good natured trash-talking is fun, thought provoking and acceptable, any replies that turn personal, disrespectful and/or disruptive of the intent of this forum will be deleted by the moderators of this forum.
Our intent is to build up and promote college club hockey and its teams. We need to work together and support each other to make this happen. We already have enough critics of club hockey. Let's do our best to keep things amiable on this forum, as not to give them any ammunition.
Best of luck to ALL teams!
Regards,
