Yea its that time of the week again where some weekend predictions are needed. There are definately some good games this weekend.. Heres what I'm thinkin.. put them into your bookie!

MSU Vs. SLU - I have to go with a split.. SLU is under rated!
ISU-RedBirds Vs. Kansas - This is a tough one.. I'll say a split
Iowa-Gold Vs. St. Thomas - Iowa sweeps I think they have proved themselves so far this season especially after a sweep on Mizzou last weekend.
Mizzou Vs. Florida Gulf Coast - FGC sweeps.. close games though
NIU Vs. Northern Michigan - Northern Michigan sweep.. hope NIU can win though..
Northwestern Vs. Bradley - I'll go with a split
ISU- IceBirds Vs. Loyola - Loyola sweep

Footnotes: MSU and SLU are obviously two of the best teams in MACHA and it should be a hell of a series.. MSU is the obvious favorite, but I still think SLU can sneak one game out. I personally don't know a lot about SLU, but I think their under rated and by the end of this season they will suprise a lot of people. ISU and Kansas is going to be a close one but I think Kansas is the sleeper team in gold and will suprise ISU.. I expect Kansas to finish in the top 6 in the league at the end.. one spot a head of ISU. Iowa should be able to sweep St. Thomas, but it will be close St. Thomas is no push over but I still think the WCCHA (the league they play in) is over rated and currently our league has more talent. And I feel Mizzou is a strong team, but they are probably just out of their league against Florida Gulf Coast.. But hopefully they can pull an upset and get one game out of that road trip, it would make our league look good if we could say 2 teams from our league beat top ranked Florida Gulf Coast.

So....... any other predictions?????????

I think you meant sweep Bradley. I am not sure what your point is. Didnt MSU core three goals in 2 minutes to tie Northwestern. It seems that so far this year Northwestern is the only silver team to beat Mckendree. The marquette game goes down as a tie. So give them a little respect.

St. Thomas wins 7 2 Friday and 6 1 Saturday for the weekend sweep. St. Thomas is really looking good and after not losing a period to the number 6 team shows there isn't a Minnesota bias

MSU JV - 8
Northern Colorado - 10

MSU actually led 7 - 4 going in to the 3rd period. Gave up an empty net goal for number 10.

Big improvement over Friday night's game.

Northern Colorado is ranked 9th in the ACHA West Division. So I'd say MSU-JV represented themselves well in playing ranked opponents for the first time in the program's history.
