I am guessing the original poster cares, hence the question.

I agree, although we have had more compliments on those jerseys than on any other jersey. Plenty of people have said they really like them and plenty have said they hate them. Doesn't matter because we are getting different ones in the next few seasons.

I have been paying attention to some college jerseys in all sports since this post started. Most colleges stick with the same jersey. I would hope that the pride would be for the name on the jersey and not the style of jersey. The look of the jersey isn't going to get a kid to choose a school. If it is, that's sad. Especially since this is just club hockey. If teams want to get into making a "best jersey" they should have 2 traditional ones and then a third. Look at some NHL teams, the originals, not much change being made there. They go through periods of change but for the most part they stick with what they have.

None of the jerseys in this league or horrible, whether they are professionaly done or are a practice jersey with stiching on them. The best jerseys are the ones that the players respect.

I happen to think Illinois States jerseys are ugly. They remind me of something you would see on a Peewee team.

I really hope that the jerseys you guys are talking about are last years jerseys and not this years. Last years were ugly and not the most comfortable but we did what we could at that time. The whole organization went with new ones this year and we all paid out of pocket. The design this year is the sabres general design with obvious color differences. I actually think our jerseys this year are pretty badass.

This forum has been created with the purpose to constructively discuss college club hockey. We encourage you to freely discuss any topic you wish, with the caveat that you keep the discourse within the bounds of good taste. While good natured trash-talking is fun, thought provoking and acceptable, any replies that turn personal, disrespectful and/or disruptive of the intent of this forum will be deleted by the moderators of this forum.
