This from the Hawks web-site.

Hawks in Need of Goaltender
The soap opera that has become "As the Hawks Turn", takes another twist of peculiar fate
as the 2nd semester begins. The GOLD Team once bursting at the seams with fine goal
tending talent finds itself down to one for the foreseeable future.
Freshman Will "The Wall" Dodge will have to shoulder the entire back stopping efforts alone
unless another goaltender can be added to the roster by the end of January. Currently the
Hawks have two rostered goaltenders on the BLACK Team in Junior Derek Lawson and
Sophomore Erica Pennington.
"This is obviously a huge blow to our team to be without another goaltender to help out
Dodge, but at the same time I have great confidence in Will and am certain he can shoulder the
load", a surprised Coach White stated. "Team wise we will have to make an adjustment in order
to have a backup and/or other goaltender on our GOLD Team roster", White continued.
Stay tuned for the latest roster updates for incoming 2nd semester students. The new
rosters will be posted prior to Friday nights games vs Northern Michigan University (GOLD) & at
Loyola University (BLACK)

Actually, two other guys... lost one to academics and one decided to "pursue other interests" I believe is the correct term.

Iowa did lose a number of players at semester break but also gained quite a few and next season looks bright as more people continue to learn that Iowa 1. Has a hockey program and 2. We aren't too bad 3. We play in a great conference
