Thought it might be interesting to compare the cost to play around the league.

How about you answer your own question first to get things started and go from there?

Not playing anymore in part because of cost and I don't want to make this about any one organization. Just curious what it costs around the league. This knowledge may help others in the future. (And no I'm not laying a trap for McKendree or anyone else to come on here and say they don't pay. I say good for them.) This is a genuine fact finding exercise.

I think everyone should include the amount of practice time with this figure. For example Mo State Varsity practices 3 times a week and the JV team practices twice. This years varsity payment also includes a trip to Florida with the league tournament and regionals budgeted in as well.

And then you should also include that the FGCU pays for your hotel at least. What else do they cover when you travel down there? Do they cover transportation once you arrive as well? I know it ends up not being too bad as far as cost goes.

SLU is paying the coach "a little more than that...a matter of fact, a LOT more than
that.."

But, they will REAP HUGE REWARDS as that program is less than 2 years away from where it
was in the 1970's, the D1 team will thrive.
