Good for them. I'm happy to see the WIU program make positive steps forward. They cancelled some games last year that hurt them, but it seems they have their act together. It's good to see they found a corporate sponsor. Sponsorships is quiete possibly the most over looked revenue source in this league...

Now that's very cool. Great cretive way to play in a great facility, gain exposure and attract players. Other teams should take a page from Westerns book. Nice job.

Well, if you are going to be a police officer Western is a great place to go. If you are going for business..IT DOESN'T MATTER. Honestly, when it all comes down to it, it doesn't really matter that much. So get off your high horse.

I am guessing by the timing of the posts and the activity lately, the previous poster was the one that was touting SLU in the other thread. My suggestion is get some negativity training. Being positive will really help you in life...no really, it will.

The thing is with this league or d2 in general. It is what the players want it to be, and since it isn't fan drive (with a few exceptions) then who really cares. The only people that have opinions that matter are those with each invovled team.

I don't feel like commenting on two threads so I will piggy back this...

to slu lover, i like your attitude when it comes to just your team. Be positive, that's good, you should be. I hope Todd does well and I am sure he will. But right now, this season, if he doesn't have the talent that is somewhere close to Lindenweed, then it is going to be a long weekend.

FYI you need a 20 on the ACT to get in. Also WIU is one of the top 150 midwestern colleges for the money according to the Princeton Review.

EIU canceled Saturdays game because the band Styx is playing at there campus. WIU did not want to travel and pay for lodging for just one game.
