| ... if they canceled because of a Styx concert. I mean, Mr. Roboto is a classic and all but come on.
Now, as far as we know their could be a number of reasons these two teams aren't playing. But with this rumor I felt it was needed to stick up for Western since Eastern seems to want to bash on them.
Now, how about Kich or any moderate just delete both this and the Western post? That would be great as well.

Why would anyone even schedule WIU after last season. Kind of dumb. EIU should have seen this coming...

It does seem as if EIU knew that they had parents weekend when they scheduled these games though. Those tpes of weekends are usually planned pretty far ahead.

Ok so the logical questions here are
1- When did EIU cancel the Saturday game with WIU?
2- If it was cancelled say 1 week ago and then WIU backs out now why did they commit and then change their minds?
3- If EIU cancelled the Sat. game and didnt tell anyone until this week then maybe they are to blame for the whole situation?
There are so many factors here and I think there need to be more answers before folks start wanting them kicked out of the league again.

.... One week is not a large time from to 'ACCUSE' of committing and backing out. In that short of a time from I would have said something like "we are still on for one game for now but I need to think about whether we really want to spend the time for one game when you backed out of the other game.
FYI... according to MACHA rules if Western lost any money due to deposits they are entitled to up to $500 in reimbursement from Eastern. Just like Western agreed to at the league meeting last year from their cancellation.

EIU informed WIU of the cancellation over 2 weeks in advance. WIU backed out 2 days before

EASTERN is a JOKE their not even going to get in a win in gold play, they have one player that can do anything with the puck. Move them down to silver

Rumor is SLU is winning Nationals so they won't win those games....not. I hope they sweep SLU
