| Will they finally stop considering themselves a "POWER HOUSE" and quit running their mouths after getting swept by MSU-Jv! |

I don't know if they have been **** talking in person, but I have not heard them call themselves a power house on these forums as of late. MSU isn't exactly terrible, to be honest. |

I think it actually appears the other way around. The thread that is named after them, called "Mckendree" was clearly started by someone else.
I don't think I've seen anyone here who has said McKendree is a powerhouse this year?
In fact most people said they would struggle after losing a few of their top players. |

I agree that MCK was not expected to repeat as Silver champs due to losing key players. However, they are still a solid team, and they are tied for 2nd in the division, and that's not to say they couldn't three-peat. They have only lost to SIUE, MSU, and RMU-S. And if you look at the standings, two of those teams are currently ahead of them. Not bad for a team that lost some good talent.
The playoff picture is still pretty cloudy, which makes for an exciting season. It's never fun to know who's going to the playoffs 3 weeks before the season is over. Right now, there are 5 teams battling for 3 spots with about half the season to go. (MSU, SIUE, MCK, RMU-S, and RMU-P) This weekend will be a big series, as SIUE plays host to MSU. If SIUE sweeps, they would be tied with MSU with 12 pts each. If MSU sweeps, they would have 16 points, and it would be hard for SIUE to make up ground, as they have already played MCK and RMC-P. It'll be exciting the next couple months, that's for sure. |

Bradley has only played 2 division games overall...its not like they're out of it either. They beat and tied ISU-Icebirds, the #1 seed in the Silver North. |

The joy of the silver division is there are pretty weak teams on both sides, giving the other teams an easy win. All they have to do is split with the better teams, and they have a playoff chance. |

Yeah, kinda like the Gold division too. Hmm, crazy how that works out, in fact, in just about every conference in every sport. I say it's MADNESS. |

I would agree this will be a more interesting season. I look forward to it. I think a lot of it will come down to goaltending, which in McK's case, we are screwed. (No offense to any of the other Mck goalies of course) | |
