Mizzou caused a fight late in the third which left them with two players kicked out and two five minute majors on the board. Missouri State had one kicked out and one two minute minor in the box but not on the board. Since it was less than five minutes left, Missouri State had a 5 on 3 advantage for the rest of the game. But, Missouri State received two penalties before it was over so it ended a 3 on 3. Good game overall.

Wow, that's a good game overall. Sounds more like an embarrasement.

The high stick to the face of a MSU player with 5 mins left in the game (who does not fight or cause penalties) by a Mizzou player was completely uncalled for. Then the MSU player came in to protect that player and was ejected as the 3rd man in. Then the same Mizzou player then uttered an ethnic slur to the player who came in to the scrum and was given a game DQ for that and another for fighting.

(All names not used to protect the guilty and innocent.)

The game was close for 3 minutes early in the 2nd period (at 2-1 MSU) then Missouri State took over.

funny how he got a 3rd man in when in college hockey there isnt such a rule!
