its the siue gold team right? whats the point of this game? why would siue play mck a week before playoffs? is it a confidence booster?

Its a series we have had the last 6 years (canceled last year for make-up games with our Silver team), considering the proximity of the 2 schools and rinks we played each other. This year it falls at the end of the year.

Mo State is playing Arkansas...is that a confidence booster? It's 2 games at the end of the year...anything can happen.

We had to fill the last 2 home games with Varsity after an early season cancellation. Arkansas was the only team that had an open weekend. We tried to get Davenport, Grand Valley State, Kentucky, Miami of Ohio, Michigan State, UMBC, Liberty, San Jose State, Colorado and SIUE, but on one wanted to or could come to Springfield. 

 

we tried to get all those teams, too.

very entertaining game...Mike Stier played outstanding over 50 shots and some amazing saves...

Defending Silver Goalie of the Year stopped 4 breakaways, a 2-0, many odd man breaks and backdoor attempts. We could have been up 7 in the first if not for him. Stier was Steller between the pipes.

Thanks Kich, it was a heck of a fun game to play in, that's for sure.

Hats off to MsKendree. You guys played two great games, and it wasn't just goaltending. Mike Stier was outstanding, but with a short bench, you guys ALL worked your butts off.

Nice words from coach Thatcher. You can tell why his team plays with a lot of class. Rather than make it appear that the only reason McK won was due to goaltending the entire team really played well. Neither team wanted to lose.

EVERYONE played very well this past weekend for both teams. It is by far the most exciting two games I have had a chance to play in. And thanks for the nice words Coach Thatcher, good luck in playoffs!

Actually, if he was a Nazi, he would be a member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party, founded in Germany in 1919 and brought to power in 1933 under Adolf Hitler (thanks to dictionary.com). I don't believe he was around around 70 years ago or lived in Germany...soooooo your post might count as the worst comment on the board? The more you know!

I didn't see the comment, but racist might be a more fitting term.

I hope you're more thorough in your homework than you were in correcting me. There's this thing called "scrolling down" that allows you to get a complete answer and helps you not look like an idiot trying to correct someone way smarter than you.

Oh and he wouldn't qualify as a racist as discrimination against someone due to race, not religion.
