MACHA playoffs

now that a few months have passed, what kind of experience did participants or fans have at the playoffs in peoria? anything in particular good or bad that happened? anything people liked or disliked about the way it was scheduled or structured??

Peoria is dump. The second rink comparable to an outdoor rink. The Quad cities sports center might be a better place to have it next years with two good rinks and still pretty centrally located.

If you want central location why not St. Louis...not East Alton (no offense SIU-E) A lot of quality rinks in the area. 5 hours from Chicago, 3 hours from Peoria, 3.5 hours from Springfield MO. I am pretty sure Lindenwood University could get you plenty of ice time on their 2 rinks.
Just a thought.

Plus the QC is losing one of their rink for an indoor soccer field.

No games were played on the second rink in Peoria that I'm aware of....I'm guessing that person mentioned the second rink simply as a comment on the overall facilities

But that comment still has 0 relevance to the discussion. Only if any games were played there does it matter at all.
