Purdue is 5-1 overall and 3-1 in macha play. In six games, they have 53 GF and just 19 GA. Are they they going to be the macha silver team to beat this year?

ACCORDING TO THEIR WEBSITE IT IS STILL 2009 - 2010

ACCORDING TO THE ACHA WEBSITE, THEY HAVE YET TO PLAY A GAME

Who have they played? Why is a Big Ten School playing in ACHA DIII?

What does being a Big Ten school have to do with anything? There are plenty of SEC, ACC, and Big 12 schools playing at all sorts of levels of ACHA hockey. Unless you have 88 million dollars given to you like Penn State being a ACHA school is perfectly fine.

I don't understand why anyone is dogging these guys. They have a team photo on their home page stories that say 09-10. Big deal. Everything on their page is up to snuff so back off of them. They have been through alot and have really stepped up to the challenge. There are plenty of other teams that have bigger issues than an old photo being on the website homepage.

Keep up the good work Purdue. See ya on Friday.

Purdue has beaten Kansas by 6 twice already this year. Sure Kansas isn't a great gold team. But they're still a gold team. They outscored Augustana 22-2. And they split with Marquette this weekend. Purdue averages almost 9 goals a game. There offense is a force to be reckoned with. And they have depth up and down the lineup. For being a d3 team, they're very talented.

Don't be fooled into the "for a D3 team they are very talented." Although I do agree, remember that there are some school that have VERY STRONG D3 programs. Strong enough to do well in the Gold of this league.

Purdue just got swept by MSU D3 and acted like a bunch of undisciplined little girls screaming at each other, breaking sticks and denting locker room doors. Grow up and show some class.

Well the matching uniforms thing is a debatable area. There are some factors involved. I know others have had this problem before. Didn't Missouri State have a problem getting jerseys late a while back? Matching helmets are required as well, hard to blame a supplier for that.

Not to get lost in the problem...

If Purdue really acted that way and also vandalized a door that is an issue. They just came off of probation at the school and if you want to get technical this could be an ever bigger issue if the school found out what happened. Either way if they did vandalize a door they should be held responsible for repair or replacement. This would be the rink that would need to pursue it though and not MSU.

Side note - I have seen MSU be babies too. I hope they see something like this and learn that they wouldn't want to be what they don't like. Don't want to be hypocrites.

Good weekend for MSU.

It was the door leading into our coaches room. The jackass got off the ice and tomahawked it with one big swing. The door doesn't need to be replaced, but there is a fat dent on it. Must say it was a fine example for our stick boy who happened to be standing in the hallway watching and all of the other kids in the stands.
