Finally some of the silver teams were smart enough to move down to division 3 so they can get recognized an have a shot at regionals an nationals... It's great for the teams an our league to get noticed.
Missouri state picked up 1 first place vote which is great
Mckendree is right behind them.
Iowa is right on the door step trying to crack the top ten.

Mo state an Mckendree play eachother in a few weeks an a sweep by one of them could knock one team out of the top ten an propel themselves to maybe the number one spot.

Mckendree also plays Nebraska this season so that will be a big weekend series as well..

This will be the most imporant series of the year for our d3 teams. It's a shame, because you know MSU and MCK are going to try to destroy eachother to earn the higher ranking. If one of those teams can run up the score it's going to kill the other in the rankings and give us less exposure at regionals. It's tough to swallow, but it is the truth.

Still this is great for the league. I'd like to know who gave MSU the #1 vote. I expected our teams to get ignored all together. This is really a good suprise.

The computer at MyHockeyRankings.com has Missouri State 15th in the Pacific, Mckendree 12th, Iowa and ISU 21st and 22nd and SIU 25th out of 27.

http://myhockeyrankings.com/rank.php?y=2010&a=3&v=933

I have no idea how Missouri State got a first place vote but I hope that voter is removed before the next vote.

Nebraska split with Arkansas @ Arkansas who SWEPT MSU D2 @ MSU. How anybody could vote MSU D3 ahead of Nebraska is mind blowing.

I think the MACHA is in for a rude awakening when Mckendree and Iowa play Nebraska and Iowa State.

MN Cyclone... Go back to hockey101.com and complain with all your buddies there. All of you complainers over there act like the MACHA D3 were part of some "great conspiracy" to screw over the Pacific Region of D3. No one likes a large region like that, not sure why all the main guests at the "pity party" think this any different for the MACHA teams. Get over it.

Games out of your division (d3 vs d2) are to not be taken into account when it comes to rankings

As a Missouri State person I have no issues with that. Just as long as MSU, Iowa, and Mckendree go to regionals we should be happy. Next season is when we can get upset about who is ranked where.
