Whatever man, first league loss of the season, in the second to last game of the regular season to the second place team right behind them, don't stand the logic in that idiotic comment, oh wait, that's right there are only 4 or 5 teams that can lose games in this league & not have to hear about it, how stupid of me!!!!!

No disrespect bro, I'm just stating the truth. Like I said it was their first league loss of the season to a team (UW Platteville) , 11-1-2 at the time who was right behind Marquette in the standings. I just don't feel the comment about them " that's why their not ranked was justified", but that's your opinion & your entitled to that. I do feel they deserved to be ranked & i think it would be good for the MACHA as well to have another ranked team. They have had pretty good season, as I have said before I wish they had scheduled a few series this season against upper D2 teams to find out if they can compete against some of those teams, but unfortunately they didn't. Hopefully next season their will be some tougher opponents on the schedule for the non-league games. Should be a fun tourney weekend- Good luck to all........

But I am not worried about your feelings. I am stating the facts. How about I reword it... "and that's another reason why they aren't ranked." When you are looking at rankings no one cares about the placement of teams in the Silver division of the MACHA when the top teams in gold fight for spots in the lower 2/3 of the rankings. The fact is simple, they had no chance of being ranked due to strength of the schedule plus being swept by Loyola. Loyola finished 5-10-1 in league play in Gold. Then Marquette loses to Plateville. So you take everything stated before the Plateville loss when you brought this up before, then add in the Plateville loss and mix it together and you get..."and that's why they aren't ranked." Once again, it is justified, it is why they aren't ranked, and if you don't like it then schedule better teams next year. It would have been the same result anyway but you might have had a clearer picture. My recommendation along with probably most of the league...go D3.

We encourage you to freely discuss any topic you wish, with the caveat that you keep the discourse within the bounds of good taste. Our intent is to build up and promote college club hockey and its teams. We need to work together and support each other to make this happen. We already have enough critics of club hockey. Let's do our best to keep things amiable on this forum, as not to give them any ammunition.
Best of luck to ALL teams!
