Matt and Trey openly admit that they hate doing commentaries and even find them boring. However, they do provide a 5-minute Introduction to the film in which they explain why they used puppets instead of real people. They also provide a little insight into why they made the film in the first place and what they were trying to say.
But yea, no drunken commentaries this time around.
