Response to Re: Only obvious

You know how I feel about Wayne. I wrote a poem about what happened as the few here know. Her story has changed through the years. She is not credible. How is that we have never heard a peep from John Payne? It is a dead horse. Beaten to death here and nothing more can ever come of it.

I personally don't know how Marilyn Wayne can live with herself if she really did indeed hear a female crying that she was drowning. It should be humiliating to her that she didn't even "try" to save her. Went back to sleep after 20 mins. and the cries stopped. That says it all right there. My poem says it all too, all true.

Wayne and Payne

Once upon a time in the deep dark sea.
A star drowned by the name of Natalie.
She was heard to be crying out loud for help,
One claimed to hear but worried for herself.

They failed to dive in as quickly as could be,
Waited til all cries stopped & returned to sleep.
Both are expert swimmers, one is Marilyn Wayne,
On the yacht with her was boyfriend John Payne.

They might have saved this small woman so near,
What stopped them from trying is still not clear.
Perhaps each feared risking their own life,
So remained onboard, acting without strife.

They say calls were made while hearing her cries,
Yet didn’t swim to save her & Natalie Wood dies.
Neither one of them feel they were to blame,
Yet what if they’d known the drowner’s name?

I believe they both would have dove off their boat,
She’d have been easily seen wearing the red coat.
Wayne seems to enjoy having her name in the news,
Could be they were impaired with too much booze.

But whatever the reasons, they didn’t even try,
And learned the next morning a drowner did die.
If only they'd known that it was a beloved star,
How different their reaction, their boat wasn’t far.

This world is still filled with so many good souls,
that would have dove in, saving her their main goal.
For the truth of the matter will yet always remain,
If they’d tried to save her, would she be here today?
